"Located right on Western Ave. in Ktown, Bumsan makes their ice cream using products from their organic farm in Korea, and the result is a light, airy soft serve that’s unlike any other version in town. They have a tight menu that includes matcha, chocolate, and pineapple-mango, but their nutty taro milk tea flavor remains our favorite. If you feel like getting a bit wild, go for the taro/chocolate twist, you won’t regret it." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park
"Koreatown might be Los Angeles’s leader in soft serve with plenty of colorful shops throughout the neighborhood. Bumsan Organic Milk Bar is the first stateside branch of the chain with locations in Korea and China. Expect swirls that come by way of an organic Korean dairy farm decorated with pretty sprinkled rims. The shop is more conducive to takeaway than hanging out, although there are a couple tables propped on its front patio for those who can’t wait to dig in." - Mona Holmes
"If Bumsan’s organic soft serve isn’t enough of a draw, then its cereal-encrusted cones might be. Select from flavors like pink guava, pineapple mango, and taro milk tea before customizing cones with Fruity Pebbles, puffed rice, and the like." - Eater Staff, Mona Holmes
"Following a feast of pressed sushi, caramelized pork necks, and grilled sweet potatoes, a cool swirl of soft serve is just the thing to finish out the night. Budonoki’s only dessert is made from organic Straus milk and comes in fun flavors like coffee, coconut, or black sesame depending on the night." - Cathy Chaplin, Eater Staff
"I saw the Los Angeles Times guide to soft serve include Koreatown’s Bumsan as a recommendation." - Virali Dave
