They’re food is delicious but service sucks. Very typical desi attitude. I visited there first time and waited about half n hour for someone to come and greet. or to take order no one approached to us until we figure out to walk toward counter and order. Also they gave us plastic forks only and the plate. They’re were no knives or spoon.

We ordered the platter, we come home and we open it up and It’s as if they gave us the platter that was sitting for days. Very dry, and it’s looked broken apart. Looks like someone’s leftovers and It was very expensive as well, would not recommend. 😿😞 Money wasted.

Picked up food for my friends family and they liked it.One star less for not keeping the restaurant clean and not providing AC in summer. The portion are small & very expensive almost $13 per 16 oz. deli container

Giving them 5 stars for the delicious food! But just one gentle note to the kind ladies serving food: a smile will take you a long way. We ordered chicken charga (missed taking pic), paya and beef bihari kabab. Charga and paya were exceptionally good. Perfectly marinated, not too hot or too plain. Felt like I’m eating food cooked by family. Bihari kabab was a little dry, could be better. It’s a nice, cozy, family owned restaurant with lots of potential cuz their food is good. But I think the reason they are underrated with stars in review is because of customer service and ambiance. Greet people with smile and keep the place clean, you’ll have over flow of people here in no time. Good luck! We plan to return.

I am the regular customer and I live Long Island exit 65 on LIE I Drive 1 hour with my family to this restaurant when we got there we went inside and there is no AC working. I asked the worker what happened it’s so hot inside it’s feel like Hundred degree. and the worker said sorry we don’t have AC. I have a kids with me. I cannot sit there eat without AC if it is hundred degrees inside I very disappointed. I left the place. Hopefully the owner of the business try to fix the AC next time.

Pretty expensive for the food. Service really lacked. I went in there and rang the front bell a couple of times until they came out from the kitchen to help while I had my car in meter parking! Had to ring the same bell over 7 times for them to notice I need them to pay my bill in the end. That totally pist me off! The food was alright. It says lacha paratha but seemed like they just heated up one of those frozen parathas which was not even lacha! No complaints on the naan or goat paya.

I've patronized this establishment for a number of years and THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. The food is delicious and the ladies are super pleasant. You WON'T be disappointed.

Food was delicious, which is what mattered to us. Menu prices were not updated, paid more at the counter. Service was ok, but nice staff. Ambiance does not apply.

The food here is delicious, authentic and consistent! I have not been to Pakistan but I have lived and worked in rural India and grew up with Pakistani friends in Queens, and everything about Bundu Khan's food is delicious! I usually eat vegetarian but whenever I am home in NYC, I eat chicken here. The chicken chapli kabob is my favorite but you cannot go wrong with any of the kabobs. The chicken is tender and the brown rice is always cooked PERFECTLY. The biryani are all delicious (of course, the ones with meat have more flavor). The channa curry is also good. Ok, the service isn't the most friendly, the atmosphere is not intimate or cozy, and perhaps the hygiene could be better. Whenever I eat Indian food, memories from India return and my food hygiene standards drop, probably without me realizing. Think about the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld - terrible customer service but the most delicious soup around! It's not nearly as bad at Bundu Khan, so come here without expecting phenomenal service or friendliness, and if that is non-negotiable for you, then don't come and knock them with a poor review!

FOR GOOD FOOD, WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE, AND HALF THE PRICE, GO TO BBQ NITE!!! I've been coming here for years. Today was the LAST time. I've never had an issue before. They raise their prices but I stayed loyal, I'm a creature or habit. Despite the owner's, the moti worker up front and the budhi server's bad attitudes. Today I paid over 52 dollars for 3 dishes and 2 naans. Yes! That's way too expensive for desi food, but considering the hit they might be taking, I thought it was me doing my part to help a business stay afloat. You can judge a lot about a business by the way it handles their customers when there's an issue. It says a lot about them. With a stay at home order in place, they should be grateful for anyone who gives them business. Instead they accuse me of giving things back eaten. I drove there from flushing to pick this food up. Then drove back to exchange the nihari that had spilled all over the bag, my clothes, and my table. Absolutely disgusting people. They tried to blame my husband time and time again. It was their fault for not packing it properly. Who packs curry in the aluminum containers with the plastic lid that are made for rice? Nobody touched the container besides me. I held it and never did it fall or slide like they claimed. Then they said the magaz (brain) wasn't there. When stuff opened up, and things spilled out and I tried to contain it, maybe i threw that out along with the stuff that spilled on my table, and my clothes, because the plastic forks punctured the one flimsy PLASTIC bag they put everything in. Aren't plastic bags illegal now? I don't know where it went. I should have asked them to pay for my dry cleaning, but I didn't. I'm not sure they even put it in, with the way they were trying to scam me. Then when I got home, and told my husband this horrendous experience, he said that the women behind the counter gave him dirty looks when he walked in to pick up the food. She just kept talking to another customer. Said she didn't acknowledge him till he said salaam. Then she said to him that she didn't know he was Muslim, brazenly admitting to her bigotry. Who cares about a person's race or religion? Disgusting! As someone who has been a victim of bigotry, I will not tolerate it by anyone. And I will not support any business that supports it. The story isn't over, Then after I got home and had eaten some I find hair in my food (photo attached). Was this done on purpose? To the old woman who said (Allah deke ga) I'm sure "Allah" saw that disgusting hair go in my food. Then they started talking crap about me in urdu, calling me a thief, saying I had eaten the food before returning it. Yeah, I did all that for an ounce and a half of magaz (I weighed it when I got back home with the "new order"), which I now think might not even be new, they probably poured the same old container I returned in another container and handedit back to me. Which explains why I've vomited several times since eating their food, and still can't hold anything down. Good thing nobody else ate that food, because wouldn't want them to get food poisoning. After seeing the hair I threw all the uneaten food out. I had tasted the haleem, it tasted straight up like daal. The chicken katakat was chicken Keema and the nihari was just wrong. I have numerous friends and family members who come here as well. I will be letting them know of this so they stop giving these people their hard earned money.

This restaurant has good food but AWFUL service! We had ordered ahead an hour and a half ago and we are still waiting because our food is STILL NOT READY! One chicken charga is what we are still waiting on, and the wait has been over 40 mins now at the restaurant and the food is still not ready! Unbelievable Yes the foods good, but come when you've got A LOT OF TIME TO WASTE. No food is worth nearly 3 HOURS OF WAIT TIME!

Drove one and half hour to have our anniversary dinner there. Ordered 3 dishes out two were fine but something was wrong with their biryani. I smelled it and could tell that it had gone bad long time ago. We had rest of the food, paid for everything (even for the rotten biryani) and politely let the waitress know that their biryani is not good. She sniffed and completely denied it. We were not asking for our money back or even for the replacement, the least she could do was to apologize but no, she kept arguing with us. Their customer service has always been a problem but they used to have good food, but now from the last couple of times, their quality has gone down big time. I don't think i will ever go back to bundu khan ever again. And one last thing: when its hot, turn the AC on instead of opening the restaurant doors.

Located in floral park, NY this Pakistani cuisine is one to check out! It's very authentic with the cook being from Pakistan, Bundu khan brings all the spices & flavors! The place might be a little small to dine in and not as wye grabbing the food makes up for it !! The Biryani was flavorful, Chicken was juicy and seasoned beautifully!! The Lamb kebab had that grill savory taste that you want!! We had a great experience eating here for the first time post-COVID. We had tava keema, haleem, naan, and a boneless chicken tikka platter. The food tasted great and the server was soo so hospitable! Truly made the experience a pleasant one. I loved it so much that I decided to take pics of the food and leave a review after we had already eaten haha. I would definitely recommend this place

So much kabab deliciousness! If you are in the mood for meaty goodness then bee line straight for Bundu Khan. The chargha chicken, the signature golla kabob, and chapli kabob lead the hit parade of my favorite dishes, and complemented by the lachcha paratha and chana masala (curried chickpeas), they all make for a superb meal beginning to end. The chargha chicken is a stellar option for sharing since each order consists of a perfectly roasted whole chicken that is full of flavor, a bit crispy around the edges, and succulently juicy. I could honestly put away a whole order of the chargha by myself, but then I wouldn't have room for the delectable, melt in your mouth golla kabab. Plenty of tender beefy goodness with a definite spicy kick to it...this is unique dish that is must order on your visit. If you want something a bit more rich, get the lachcha paratha, which is unique and full of buttery and flaky goodness. Vegetarians should stay home because the chana masala and one other dish are the only two options for herbivores on the menu. This is a small, family owned establishment, and the food is high quality and fresh, with that in mind call in your order if you're stressed for time! The service may be a bit slow, but that's a small price to pay for so many delicious dishes made with TLC. Very highly recommended!

Mixing up the order is one thing, but ordering food for 8 people and no food prepared at the time of pickup is bad!

We cater from here for our business. This is one of the best places for Pakistani cuisine in New York. You won't go wrong with the gola kebab, nehari or the goat biriyani. Everything is on the expensive side however, I suggest trying it out. You may think it's worth it. Our business does.

So I actually I loved this place. Unlike other reviewers the front desk lady was not unpleasant and the food always tastes good. I usually order the goat and chicken biryani Atleast once a week. Today my husband decided to try the shish kebab platter and was enjoying it, until he found a round metal ring inside his mouth. Thankfully he didn't swallow it. I would hate to leave a review that would hurt a small business especially during Covid, but this can get someone really sick. I am very very disappointed

After a long hiatus, the family and I stopped here on a whim for dinner last night. The restaurant was half full - as in the tables on the right side were mostly occupied (save for one) while every table on the left side was empty. We grabbed a seat and thought a server would come by with menus. Instead, she came out several minutes later, wiped off an already empty table m the empty side, and proceeded to place menus on it. Like...what the heck? As it was getting late and my patience was running short, I walked up to the counter to place our order. We settled on a Chicken Boti Paratha Roll, a Seekh Kebab Paratha Roll, and a Chili Chicken w. naan. My family said their rolls were tasty enough but the paratha was oily. I had the same thoughts about my chili chicken - tasted fine but was visibly oily. The naan, too, was dripping butter in the middle. Some people may like that but I felt a little unsettled eating something that oily. I was pretty hungry so I scarfed it down knowing I'll pay the price later. As for the environs, the walls are painted a bright green and the tables are rectangular and designed to comfortably seat 4. Our table along the right side wall had bench seating on the wall side with pull out chairs on the other. The bench seating was unconformable as the cushioning was worn to the point of needing replacing. The tables were not exactly spotless and you could see trash on the floor from previous diners - used tissues, a couple of pieces of plastic-ware, and some pieces of food. Not exactly appetizing, but I only noticed that after we had already commenced dining else I would have rethought our decision to dine here. The pricing here is not bad. Dinner for the 3 of us - including a couple of bottles of water plus a small gratuity - came out to just over $32.00. Granted, we didn't order a feast or anything. The previous time we came here, we ordered some biryani dishes which were better. If we do come back, we may try those again or try something else on the menu. Parking is street-only and we got lucky and scored a spot right out front. If you come during the daytime when their neighboring business are also open, you may need to park and walk a block or 2 sometimes.

Came here for dinner with a few friends. We came for Iftar so it was pretty busy. The lady serving us was sweet and they tried her best to accodomate our requests despite to rush. I was honestly surprised how good the food was since most Pakistani restaurants don't live up to the hype. Bundu khan has fresh authentic Pakistani dishes. Their Gola kabob dish the best on the menu and a must try! The tawa fry keema was also delicious. The mixed grill was okay but nothing special. I wouldn't order it again. Overall, their gola kabob is worth the visit. Everything else on the menu is average. People complain about service but honestly, it's a Pakistani so what do you expect? They aren't going to provide you with excellent customer service. I come here for good Pakistani food. I leave all other expectations at the front door :)

Not consistent on food quality. Sometimes it's good sometimes it's not. So it's always a risk involved to order food from this place . Very slow in service. They don't care about quality of service or quality of food.

Love this place! Food always yummy . I called at ten and ask for closing time he said 11. I was at work and wouldn't make it but the person on the phone told me he would wait for me to come pick it up and they did food was awesome

I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5. We ordered the chicken kabob, Chapli kabob, Goula kabob, nihari and biryani along with some naan. my favorite was the chicken kabob with the biryani taking second place . Perfect level of spices mixed with flavor. Great portion sizes that were enough for 2 to 3 people to share with some naan. The customer service was a 5 out of 5 due to it being quick and friendly . The only down side was the bathroom being unclean and seating being limited. If you want authentic Pakistani food, I would highly recommend this place

Excellent Biriyani particularly lamb and chicken. The paratha wraps are good and chock full of meat.

The food is great, even though they raised the prices through the roof. The customer service on the other hand is horrible. The lady named "Sebeen" loves to make sure her customers know that she is right. Make sure to double check your order before leaving the restaurant if you do take out.

So many flaws with this establishment, where do I even start... I know... how about the worst part of the entire experience... the Infamous AUNTY that is behind the counter! You all know who I am referring to. There is this aunty who is by far the WORST customer service rep I have ever met in my life. She has no customer etiquette's, looks down on you if you have a question God forbid... and doesn't give a CRAP if your order is late. If you do not believe me, read any of the posts below and you will understand. They make you wait.. and wait.. and wait.. and are completely unapologetic about it. Food is so overrated and OVERPRICED ! what the heck... you must be a baller to eat at this grimmey establishment apparently. Compare the prices here to literally ANY paki restaurant in the COUNTRY !!! and you will see how overpriced it is. The food is not even that great. I have had so much better. Bottom line... NEVER COME HERE!

You can definitely have a good meal or a meh meal here. It depends on what you order. Very home cooking type feel. Most meals are very spicy as well. ALmost too spicy in some cases. But when you pick the right combo with some rice. Maybe Tandoori Chicken or Butter chicken or what not, it is a very enjoyable experience.

Used to love love everything about this place. It's family oriented and the goat briyani has the right amount of spice. The kebabs were super delicious. I need to try other things on their menu.

The customer service at this place is horrible, the food is good as far as the Kabob Rolls but I will never go back again after all the business i have given them

Guzara. Fans of the real Bundu Khan will know what I mean. Not worth the money charged for the crap food. Fooled me once with the name, not again.

Butter Chicken tasted like water. No taste of thick gravy. Just liquid and cost $12 for small amount. Wasn't even worth at all.

The food quality has changed and price has increased . Eating their food this past week made feel horrible so much oil this is not what it use to be.

So I ordered food from here total worth of $30 I just wanted 1-2 small sauces on the side the lady goes $1 for 1 sauce ??? This restaurant is good n all but Owner's are very Very cheap they charge you $1 for small sauce !!! Smh at least give your customer few sauces on the side so they could really enjoy their food ! Whoever the owner is has to fix this issue .

I called 15 mins prior to my pickup to get 3 kebab rolls and when I got there they made me wait 20 mins so I complained and they didn't even acknowledge or understand my frustration!! Then I ask for extra sauce and they give me one small container-like really?

They store all frozen food and heat the same when we order. His son in law is the worst guy to deal with there. Uneducated and has no respect for his customers. Kabi aisa damaad nahi dekha jo apne sausur ke tukdon pe palta... His name is Faizan. This uneducated son in law only knows to insult his co workers and tries to be the boss. Get a life. Go out and find a job for yourself and stop living with your father in law. And coming to point there food over priced and if you see the way they make it is disgusting.

And that cashier lady or whoevr that is... needs to pass a 6 month course in hospitality.

Most of the food is really solid. The service is slow and they are under staffed, and not particular looking to provide any kind of rich customer experience. But the food makes up for it

Pakistani food done right. Amazing Gola kebab, lancha paratha, nihari, biryani and kat-a-kat. Haleem is mostly daal I wouldn't recommend it.

Usually i don't write reviews but I felt like I HAD to in this case. I have been to this restaurant more than once over past few years...despite my better judgement! People working here (cashier/server) always have an attitude..not sure why since I am a customer and you want my business! But I've ignored that fact, sine each time I would go with friends and we would be starving. Food isn't that bad usually, not great either. What made me give a 1 star and take my time to write a review are mainly because: 1) NO HEAT during winter/NO AC during summer. Winter time as people come in and goes out, and it gets very cold. Summer time, keeping the door open in 80 degree + weather is not adequate alternate to fan or AC to sit and eat at any restaurant. 2) (This only happened once) Usually it takes them some time to bring food but to my surprise my paratha roll came fast! Happy to have seen my food since I was starving but immediately regretted! Paratha was soaked in oil and more disturbingly...I know it was re heated rather than made fresh. Given that we live in NYC and there is no shortage of food, I would recommend giving your business to someone who appreciates it and to top it off has good accommodation. Not to mention most of the stuff they sell, other restaurants sells it for lesser price than they do. AND if you feel like you never tried their food, trust me you are not missing a whole lot!

Kebabs were amazing BUT service was horrible. So unprofessional. The woman at the counter acted as if questions being asked were hurting her. Just plain rude. She was having a full on conversation with another table as we stood there to order. Then she would take orders from the phone and then ask us what we wanted after. Zero customer service skills. What we ordered definitely shouldn't have cost $18 for 4 kebabs, 1 naan, and a gyro.

The chicken tikka masala was too sweet it could use more spice my family didn't enjoy their food because it was too sweet

Very very tasty. Food is full of flavor. What a treat. Had chicken tiki and chicken shish kebob.

I had one of the best Beef Nihari and Kababs along with an authentic Naan to go with it. The serving size was bigger than other desi restaurants though. If you like typical BBQ from Karachi/Delhiwala taste, you have to visit Bundu Khan!

Everything is awesome there from katakat to maghaz nihari. Much better than the restaurants near by

This place has good Chicken Tikka. Besides that everything else is over spiced and over priced. Customer service sucks. I didn't like the haleem and thought some of the kabobs in the platter were over seasoned with garam masala.

The service was below standard and the food took very long to be served. I won't recommend any one with a party larger than 2

Goat curry and biryani were bang on target, great taste a little heavy but you don't eat this food for health purposes you eat it to satisfy your tongue the only down side is the loud TV and less than stellar gola kebab

Best fast food Pakistani in area! The biryani is BOMB!! The lady at the register can be rude sometimes when you order on the phone but nothing too bad

The food takes forever to come and taste is so horrible. We ordered goat qorma that tasted like rose water, paratha roll that tasted horrible as well. Sorry to say but I'm def never returning to this place.
