Google
Really liked the place. It has a big variety of italian products including of course pastas, cold cuts, cheeses, bread products, chocolate products etc. I appreciated a lot their cheese descriptions (see picture) - it was a massive help in choosing a cheese to buy. Overall I would recommend checking this store out if you’re at the Chelsea market.

Buon Italia was very busy today. Not too many locals were doing the purchasing (as in the past). The prices are now much higher than they have ever been for everything from dry pasta to imported chocolates. If not for the tourist draw to the Chelsea Market, this place would probably be out of business. I waited patiently to place an order, but the old guy in the suit was pressuring the staff, and they were not too happy about it. I walked away and even canceled my coffee order.

Google
Remarkable place! It's toward the back of Chelsea Market (10th Ave side). A tip if you're making this the reason to go to CM - come in from the 10th Ave side and avoid the herd of tourists. This place has it all - from candies to meats to pastas to prepared foods and specialities. Also quite a few pastas and prepared foods frozen. Even caviar in a number of varieties and price ranges. They have specialties like rice and olives as well as more exotic items you just won't see anywhere else. Really well done, folks!

Google
Wonderful Italian market offering authentic Italian ingredients and even fully cooked meals. We enjoyed shopping here. You get stuff here that’s not easy to get at NYC supermarkets.

Google
Very good little pasta station! Pick your own pasta shape and your own sauce for only $11!! Definitely recommend heading downstairs and grabbing some food

Google
Fantastico. Find me another place in NYC to purchase smoked Burrata and smoked mozzarella di bufala in little packages at great prices. I discovered this place today and will return frequently!

Google
One of my go to supermarket with some of my favorite italian’s products!!! The staff is amazing, super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Parmigiano, the Italian olives, soppressata just to mention some of them, besides all the pasta and cookies from Italy!!! Check it out for some of the best delicatessen from all over Italy!!!

Google
The asparagus ravioli was so good in the butter Parmigiano sauce wow! Would have gotten more if not in a hurry, totally recommend this place

Yelp
Today was a self care day. I wanted to have a relaxing Sunday. Hence, I went to this cafe/store in Chelsea Market after I took a Pilates class in Brooklyn. For $5, I was able to purchase a large coffee and a mini cannoli. Both items were delicious and the woman who handled my transaction was very pleasant. I will definitely come back here again.

Petie R.

Yelp
The packaged selections in the store seem well priced and great variety. I have been happy with the dry pasta I purchased from them. Today was a disappointment at their "pasta bar". They had very limited selection of pasta types. The tagliatelle marinara is what I ordered. It was cooked fresh in front of me. It had great texture, cooked very well with a beautiful looking marinara. It was so salty I could not eat it and Imlove salty food. It seemed the pasta was the super salty part if that is possible. Hard to tell. I wouldn't have minded paying the $14.95 if it was edible. I liked the serving size. I'm sorry to leave a negative review but if craving pasta - go to the upstairs Italian restaurant. It's very good.

Jeremy J.

Yelp
OMG TRUE ITALIAN COFFEE FINALLY! Another 5-Star stop on Chelsea. Smooth, bold, and creamy coffee. Nothing over powering, just great smooth blend!

Nina C.

Yelp
Got premade food from the market and it was okay! The pizza was okay, though definitely had better pizza at other places in the city. The cold pasta salad was not my cup of tea. It was a bit too sour for me :/ Perhaps I just had the wrong foods, but am open to trying again.

Lexi M.

Yelp
We popped in the Chelsea Market to try and find a spot that has coffee as we were early for our tickets into the Artechouse. This place had some fantastic espresso and they had an amazingly cute market.

Jane L.

Yelp
Debating on what to get for lunch at Chelsea Market. Buon Italia located downstairs. We walked up to the counter and noticed variety of quiches. Decided to get one to try out before going back for more. OMG! The spinach quiche was delicious. Not greasy, cheesy nor heavy. In fact, it was light and fluffy. Perfect size to be shared by two people. The only drawback was that it was warm by the time we walked out to look for table and chairs. Will definitely be back and spend more time going through the aisles. Lots of products to select from. There's the butcher in the back to place orders.

Kenny C.

Yelp
Amazing Italian shop that has prepared foods, an amazing deli counter (with the biggest mortadella you'll ever see), a very impressive cheese selection, and desserts! Stop in for groceries. Stop in for sandwiches. Stop in for meats!

Michelle C.

Yelp
Great selection of imported goods, from gianduja to nduja. They stock a lot of the same items as Eataly, except it's better organized and much less crowded. They have a deli counter as well as a pasta/prepared foods counter in the back that's worth taking a look at.

Alissa D.

Yelp
Really love this market. It's located close to my apartment so it's easy for me to stop buy and pick up ingredients. Recently, I purchased two packs of fresh ravioli (flash frozen, meat and one plain), tomato basil sauce (fresh) and a nice chunk of parmesan. They also have a very large selection of dried pastas, antipasto, deli and cheeses/breads. The sauce was one of a kind, it had so much flavor and good texture to a rather simple ravioli. I was a bit disappointed with the fresh ravioli, the flavor was lacking and it didn't cook as al dente as I would've liked. No instructions on the packaging so I had to figure that out for myself. I will definitely be back to try other fresh pastas and pick up another jar of sauce. This place isn't cheap, but the convenience and the taste outweigh going to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods for your items.

Gab G.

Yelp
Secret pasta bar alert! Yeah, I read that Grubstreet article, and this place lived up to the hype. I had the porcini ravioli with butter parmigiano sauce and orchiette with pesto sauce; both great but choose the ravioli if you can only get one. I also had a slice of pistachio cake from their bakery case in the front that was incredible. Never had anything like it. Only thing is I wish they had real dishes for if you want to eat in. 4.5 stars.

Kathleen C.

Yelp
Scuzza me, but you see that's amore'! This store is everything Italian. They've got every pasta you can imagine. Cookies from Italy, canned foods, cheeses and even a deli counter.

Bing R.

Yelp
Authentic Italian food less expensive than their competitors. It has been in this spot as far as I can remember. It's a New York City staple. Cheeses, sausages, candies, spices, olive oils, great balsamic vinegars, foie gras! Sorbets! Ice cream! All imported - a few not. They even have read to go and cook at home pastas and lasagna all ready to just out in the oven to bake. Truffle pates too! Must destination if you want Italian food to go or cook.

Alexander B.

Yelp
The products sold by this store are great, but the checkout experience is made exasperating by the frequently made claim that "the Internet is down", & that credit card purchases aren't possible. Most of the time I can operate the card reader myself and complete the transaction, but sometimes the cashier persists in asking for cash. I shop at this store two or three times a month and this has happened nearly every time I visit, especially since the store moved downstairs a couple of years ago. If the store prefers cash they ought to put up a sign saying so, instead of fabricating an excuse about broken internet service that is seemingly never repaired.

Tyler M.

Yelp
UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE: I truly wanted to give this company a chance, as I love to shop for authentic Italian products. I googled for a fiori extract and this company popped up, so I ordered from them on their direct website to make a special Italian torte for Christmas. Folks this company, regardless of good reviews, is a SCAM, and I reported them to the BBB. What happened : It took almost two weeks to finally receive the product, one of which was just to pack it and ship it. That was ridiculous. Out of the box it was wrapped in so thick a bubble wrap, and so tightly with boxing tape all around it, that although I carefully snipped the tape with scissors, suddenly the bubble wrap exploded and sprung the bottle out onto the floor, shattering it completely. It's ridiculous, but true: I was furious, as it was completely unnecessary to wrap it in such a fashion. Regardless, I emailed the customer service representative, ANTONIO M and explained the situation in a civil email; he is the ONLY one to talk to. He said If I sent over a picture that they could immediately file a claim AND RESHIP THE ORDER THAT DAY. I did have a picture, as I had a feeling beforehand to have the proof, and I sent it to him. I never received a response back and no bottle. I sent another email: NO RESPONSE. Get this: I called ANTONIO M directly, and the entire *short* conversation he literally was just saying stuff to get me off the phone, and was constantly abrupt; nothing made sense: he had to file a claim with UPS as it wasn't their fault, though he admitted in the email in that was how BUON ITALIA packaged things. He promised he would get back to me immediately and wanted to hang up; I asked if the product was packaged by UPS or in-house and he said "it's in house." I asked why they couldn't accept fault, and he literally said "well... uh!... it's just protocol... I'll file it and let you know. I'll send an email." What?? Ok... Never heard back again. Sent another email a week later; nothing. Folks it has been over a month and I contacted UPS today, and the incident was actually never filed with UPS, according to my tracking number and the Buon Italia account. The bottle was 10 bucks, and 11 for shipping: you can't resend a lousy bottle to those of us of whom spent the little we had and are really struggling during covid, all to just have something special for the holidays?? It was a waste of money, and all you cared about was profit. Obviously they don't give a care about new potential customers. Total scam.

Sharon C.

Yelp
They were here before Eataly, but without being a fancy soulless overpriced tourist trap! They're a mom and pop store that's much more reasonably priced. They have the best fresh pasta, handmade burrata (try to buy this on the day they make it), and cold cuts. This is the real deal. Also they have White Truffle Festival in the fall where they have a special menu of truffle centric dishes. Their black truffles are also very reasonable priced compared to other places. They have delicious cheeses like smoked scarmoza and straciatella. Trying chatting up the Italian guys behind the cold cut counter for great recommendations like their Salami Milano and Finnichiona. This place is a treasure trove of delights.

Yelp
I ordered candied chestnuts from the Buon'Italia website, as a gift for a friend. I had some reservations about ordering from a small business that I had found through a TripAdvisor forum; however, I needn't have worried. When Fedex lost my package, I called Buon'Italia to inform them of the mishap. The gentleman who answered the phone was very polite and reassuring, and he promised to bring my issue to the attention of his manager. Within a day, I received a notice that they had sent a replacement package, which arrived at its destination. I have yet to hear from the package's recipient as to the quality of the candied chestnuts; however, I was extremely pleased with the prompt and fuss-free way in which Buon'Italia handled the problem. I'll try to visit them in person the next time I'm in NYC. Update: My friend finally tried the chestnuts, and she was thrilled! According to her they are a smidge sweeter than the ones we had in Lucca, but they were still delicious!

Viviann L.

Yelp
Decent service and not hard to find. New and clean and organized. Not too many options of everything but the do have some selections of pastas and cheese. Although, there's another really good cheese shop just across buonitalia

Michelle D.

Yelp
This place is great! I love Italian food and this is the place to be. There is Italian food that they sell in front of the shop and the Italian grocery store is pretty spacious with a lot of authentic items to choose from. I liked how many different pasta options were available to buy.

Jaimee A.

Yelp
I still absolutely love this store! We have discovered their burrata and it is second to none! Delicious, creamy and fresh! It didn't need any olive oil or sea salt. It was delicious on its own. Their coffees and olive oils are terrific. Their marzipan is super fresh and tasty. The fresh pasta is also delicious. The prepared food is also delicious. My girls are big fans of their pizza and pasta. I love when they have their marzipan based desserts. Totally delectable!! The service is always friendly and helpful.

Mai N.

Yelp
I was craving pizza and found this place. They sell pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and Italian dishes. When I first came by, they didn't have pizza I wanted, so I left and came back a little later. There was a long line to order food, but the service was very efficient that I didn't have to wait long. I got a slice of margarita pizza. The staff put it in a oven to reheat. She wrapped my pizza and hand it to me. My pizza was very big and fresh. I usually don't eat pizza because it gets soggy very quickly, and it doesn't taste good once it gets cold in my opinion. My pizza was flavorful and warm. I wanted to be warmer, but it was still good. Other food looked tasty too. The staff was nice, and the service was great. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are big. They have a small supermarket and cafe in the back. I would come back when I want reasonable authentic Italian food! FYI- cash only.

Deb D.

Yelp
great foodstuffs at chelsea market. gelato, pastas, meats, cheeses, breadsticks, nuts, candies...it's all here at buon italia. the deli is expansive and probably has any meat and cheese you can imagine. there are freshly made sandwiches, pasta salads; the coffees and semolina, most of which is imported from italy, are great. the salted roasted almonds were some of the best i've ever tasted. great service, friendly cashier and clean restaurant seating area. fun place!

Maro S.

Yelp
I got the Roma Panini for lunch today. It's a roast pork and broccoli rabe on a ciabatta bread. Now, slap me silly I'm wrong but I thought paninis were supposed to be warm, if not toasted/grilled. Mine was cold. The broccoli rabe had too much olive oil drizzled on it, on top of the olive oil drizzled on the ciabatta (which was not bad). It also had a lot of salt on it too, which didn't help because the roast pork was already salty. It was difficult to consume, but considering I spent $12, I forced myself. Next time, I'm sticking with Bowery Eats.

Nancy W.

Yelp
Delicious fresh pasta! You can customize your made to order pasta for $11. They have a counter in the back that also has ready made foods such as salmon, croquettes, arancini balls, etc. The truffle ravioli is fresh and full of truffle flavour. It's a hidden gem as there was no line when I went and is definitely come back again. The store sells all things Italian, such as fresh pasta, crackers, chocolate, olive oil, etc. The store is located right across from the restrooms downstairs.

Franny W.

Yelp
The prepared foods are high-quality and tasty, for sure. Also over-priced, even for Chelsea Market. Sausages are great and the guys behind the meat counter want to please. Excellent selection of quality imported foods from Italy that are hard to find elsewhere. Still, checkout always leaves a bad taste because of the hostile attitude. It's like they feel they are doing us a favor by taking our cash. (The credit card apparatus is often malfunctioning btw, not the case with the other vendors in the basement).

Sayuj P.

Yelp
Awful service, sour, rude, unhappy, unfulfilled employees, digusting pastries, and bad coffee. Avoid, other coffee options here with sunnier workers.

Yu P.

Yelp
Anything Italian is here. I especially adore boiron's melon purée. Friendly staff too!

Wayne W.

Yelp
Watching 2 ladies pack olives in jars that will be put on the shelves to sell. They are not using gloves, they are eating olives while they pack and their fingers are touching their mouths, and they are constantly touching their faces, glasses, and hair. Total gross out. Good luck with those olives in a jar!!

Bill R.

Yelp
Cool little shop in Chelsea Market. Large selection of Italian staples. The deli selection is large. I grabbed a Parma sandwich and a drink for $12. It was okay, mostly tasted like bread. I found better Italian stores walking back to the LES.

Bill T.

Yelp
This review is for the to-go counter. Very solid choice for a bite to eat in Chelsea Market. Wide variety of fresh looking dishes and sandwiches from which to choose. I had the milano sandwich (mainly because I love Alyssa Milano!) which was a chicken cutlet with roasted veggies. It was very good, although when they put it in the press, they could have heated it up a little more. But it was tasty. The bruschetta looked amazing and I'll get that next time. There was a line but it moved quickly.

Jose R.

Yelp
I've been eating their food since day one and it's fresh, clean, delicious and very well priced, with a nice staff. Thank you for being there for us during Virus crisis!

Taiyo O.

Yelp
I drop by mostly to get Italian tuna in a jar or can. I don't know what makes so different but Italian tuna is delicious, perfect pairing for Salad Niçoise or drop some in a miso soup, yum! Anchovies in a jar is another must item. Especially salted ones. It's nostalgic to my childhood memory although my subtropical small island was in Pacific Ocean and we often eat with a seasoning-thirst tofu. On top of it, drizzle EVOO and Italian herbs to round the flavor and make East meets West salad(?). I also get Parmigiano Reggiano 24 Month, or 36 Month if they have. Those cheese makes every dish I make taste better. I bought Reggio Emilia butter. The butter was made from Parmigiano cows(?), marked under the butters in a fridge case on the wall. I didn't know what to except but it definitely have me smile. It has an unique Parmesan aroma and taste ....but it's a butter. I always find something new here.

Jessica D.

Yelp
I adore this place! Beautiful meats and cheeses, the best pasta, my favorite brand of anchovies, fabulous sausage - Buon Italia makes me a better cook because the ingredients are top quality. Staff is friendly enough, and a pleasant environment to shop. Many times, I have been pleased to hear the people standing near me in line speaking Italian - a ringing endorsement!

Rena Y.

Yelp
3.5 A great selection of Italian ingredients can be found here. It appears that many of the shop's items are imported and there is also a decent selection dedicated to organic and gluten-free items if that floats your boat. What's most striking is that there is a huge selection of Italian coffees, honey, cured meats, dried fruits, nuts, dried pasta, semolina and other flours. You can enjoy the store's ready made foods in a front corner where there are a couple of tables overlooking the grand hall of Chelsea Market. I have enjoyed the dried prunes and nuts from this establishment. It appears that they acquire the products in bulk and repackage them in smaller volumes.

V B.

Yelp
Dishonest business Aside from the ridiculous prices of the merchandise and some items passed the expiry date, they tried to bump up the price of a clay pot. The pot had no price on it and when I asked the price three different people did not know and then a woman came out telling me how that particular pot was more expensive as it was superior quality and she wanted to charge more then the bigger pots. The only difference was in the color and there was NO difference in the quality. Since I am Italian and have used this pots my entire life, I know how to recognize them. I even told her that the list of materials was exactly the same and that there was no difference in the quality but was just a different color. She insisted even in front of the evidence from the listed materials, so I just walked out. I don't buy from people who try to cheat, period.

Joseph D.

Yelp
Hands-down the best place to get Italian groceries and specialty items anywhere in the city. Everything they import is directly from Italy and def of higher-quality. The pasta is really good and the meats and cheeses they offer are excellent. They have a great collection of olive oil's, nuts, and Italian desserts, to name a few. Also in the front of the market they have a place where you can order pasta and Paninos to eat there. I've traveled to Italy a couple times, and this is the only Panino that has come close to anything I've gotten from the motherland.

Maria K.

Yelp
Echoing what Ernest said, I encountered some rude behavior by a person working there-- the cashier was rude to me as I was paying for a few items I saw. I have no idea what was her problem. Yes, the products in the store are neat-- but I can buy the same items elsewhere without the attitude. This store is essentially an old style, traditional Italian market with a selection of pasta, cheese, cured meat, cookies, Nutella and such with a very Chelsea Market price tag. The person helping me from behind the cheese and meat counter was courteous though so it wasn't everyone had an attitude problem at this shop. I like the location of the market but due to the rude cashier, perhaps I'll go elsewhere when I want to buy Italian products in the future.

Bill S.

Yelp
I was in the mood for a nice slice of their pizza today. Don't think of a 8 slice, hot round pizza but a long sicilian slice with not too much sauce & cheese. (Just like in Italy) How was it? Awesome (as usual) They have such a nice selection of Italian food here, if your in the mood for Italian food, look no further.

Jenny N.

Yelp
I got one of the milianos for lunch, the chicken looked good but as they say looks are deceiving. So I paid $7.08 for this. -The bread was overtoasted to the point where it was hard -The chicken was bland and flavorless and dry too. YES I HAD TO USE KETCUP while I attempted to eat this thing, at some point I gave up since it wasn't edible. -It did not look fresh, either they've had made for days or something. You can get better chicken at McDonald. No Joke or exaggeration. I for one shall not be wasting anymore money here.

Carolyn CJ S.

Yelp
Had a quick bite here for lunch when I was in Chelsea market. I got their squid salad which came with squid, octopus, and shrimp as well as peppers and zucchini cut thin. The acid in the dish was just perfect, and they gave me a small wedge of lemon if you wanted a bit of a kick more of that lemon taste which I didn't not use until the end. Overall a great refreshing bite.

Steph C.

Yelp
As pretty much everything in Chelsea Market, this place gets a full five stars. The space is open and easy to navigate, and the selection is uniformly tempting. It's a great specialty store, without any air of hauteur, boasting all manner of cheeses, nuts, chocolates, and Italian goodies. Our visit was around Easter and we marveled at the biggest chocolate Easter egg I've ever seen. I bought a container of Marcona almonds for future snacking, and they were superb. This place is great for browsing, and I'd go back for those nuts or to sample the other myriad wares.

Jen K.

Yelp
10 minutes to closing, I only wanted a half pound of pasta for dinner so I asked for 1/4 lb of 2 different pastas. The lady at the counter smiled at me and put a few spoonfuls of pasta, weighed it (which was way over 1/4lb) and proceeded to add the 2nd pasta. She ended up putting way too much pasta in and casually acted like it was fine and said she'd give us the rest of what was left for free. Wow, how generous of her. (It was like, literally 5 "extra" pieces of pasta shells she gave us) Ended up being almost a pound anyway and she charged us $8.50! I guess she totally blatantly ignored that I said HALF A POUND. Only wanted to pay $4 dollars at most. Was pretty upset, I should have said something but I had a lapse of rationale and didn't want to make it awkward (so dumb!) so I guess I got taken advantage of by this DISHONEST AND SHADY business. She probably thought she could dump the leftover end-of-the-night pasta to us, and she was right because we're idiots and just let her charge us almost $9 bucks! Ugh and don't even get me started on the pasta. Tasted like cardboard. Another thing: they wrap up all the leftovers at night which I thought was weird. Do they put all this day old stuff back out the next day? How many days do they do that for? Gross. Will never eat here again. I am a small business owner and I just think it's sad that some business owners can be so dishonest and such jerks. I'd stay away from this place and NOT support them. They also only accept cash. Huh? How hard is it to just get a square reader these days? That is shaaaaady!!!! How much do you think they're keeping under the table? A lot. That is so inconvenient for some, I know I don't always have cash on me. Clearly they don't care about their customers and giving us options to use various methods of payments! Rant over, thanks for reading.

Yelp
This is the first and last time I'll be shopping here. From the moment I walked in the place seemed cold. As I was walking in I said good morning to the cashier with no response. Actually no one acknowledged me. It was 8 in the morning I was the only one in the store. I asked several questions that no one knew the answer too. How many lasagna sheets are in your fresh pasta pack? Not a clue. Do you have ricotta? Met with a dirty look and the answer. Right there! Then dirty look. At one point my bag knocked over a $4.00 bottle of a wine vinegar. I kept on apologizing. Was going to do all my shopping there as away for making up for it and would have offered to pay for the vinegar. But then they charged me. So I only bought what I needed spending $15 including the bottle of vinegar. With the amount of other stuff I needed my purchases would have been over $100. Also, I'm not sure I trust a completely "Italian" store not run by a single Italian. I'll be making way back to Di Palo's or the Titiel Bros in the Bronx to get the rest of what is needed. A place where the people are genuine, helpful and friendly, where you're met with a smile.

Sasha R.

Yelp
Cannolis are delicious! The grilled sandwiches are pre made and then reheated. Ends up very dry and bland. Nice selection of cheeses, honeys, mustards and other unique finds. Black truffle (mushroom) flavored truffle (chocolate) by the register is interesting. Try it.

NYSD G.

Yelp
best gelato in chelsea market! if your wondering what about the bigger brighter stand not too far away, think of the movie big night with stanley tucci and tony shaloub. dense super creamy pistachio and imported from italy. it was so amazing it made us look for it when we got back. it's easy enough to get the whippy big mound spewing out of its container fugazi gelato since they're everywhere nowadays. getting a menodiciotto type gelato is way harder to find. http://www.meno18.com/

Susan H.

Yelp
I have never ordered from the outside take-out station so my review is solely for the store part. The selection of products is great. If it weren't for the fact that we don't live here and have to lug home anything that we buy, I would certainly be buying more items! One product we've come to really like---cherry jam from the Agrimontana company---very tasty! In the past, we also bought some prepackaged gnocchi which we enjoyed. As I said, I wish we could buy more but...

Diana X.

Yelp
This is a really fun place for a foodie and cook to shop for anything Italian. Even though I barely purchased anything, I spent a fair amount of time just wandering the aisles and reading the labels of ingredients, foods, and preserved goods that I'd never seen before in the typical neighborhood grocery chain or Whole Foods. As to be expected, don't expect the items to be very cheap here (but they are reasonably priced). Fine selection of imported ingredients, definitely worth a stop for the curious foodie tourist.

Olivia S.

Yelp
Great selection of Italian goods but of course, the price will be expensive since everything is imported. If you're into Italian, please do yourself the favor & GO! Foodies unite!

Gabrielle L.

Yelp
The food was decent-the CASHIER on the other hand was rude as sh*t. She served all 3 customers around me, even though I was ahead of 2 of them. Then she gave me attitude to top it off. Listen lady, if you don't like your job quit. Otherwise put on a fake smile & suck it up like everyone else. Food was not good enough to want to come back to bad service and a cashier yelling at a coworker in front of customers. Ugh. P.s she was a white woman w/dark hair in an updo, maybe 5'5? Working the lunch shift 8/22/2018.

Emma Y.

Yelp
Just went there to buy a lasagna. I called first and checked if they had what I wanted, they said yes! We have many in different sizes. I got there soaked from the rain and they had none!!! Either they lied or they couldn't be bothered to actually go and check first. It took a while to find out this information because I stood there for five minutes waiting for four women who were ignoring me to finally address me. I usually love this place such a disappointment.

Frank T.

Yelp
This review is for the market not the prepared food in the front of the store. They have a great selection of Italian imported foods and homemade pastas, cheeses, etc. There is a meat market at the back of the store. Prices are reasonable especially when compared to Eataly and more authentic. We always pick up hard to find Italian cookies and biscotti's when in Chelsea Market.
