I'm super shocked that I've somehow never reviewed Buredo yet because it's hands down one of my favourite go-to places in Dupont! I absolutely adore the Sofie as evident by it being in every single photo at least once. I've had a few of the other sushi burritos at this point because friends and I will split two half and half to try the others out, but nothing beats the Sofie. It wins every single time. It's just the combination of textures and taste that is so satisfying no matter what. Recently brought one of my childhood best friend's from my hometown here. We split the Sofie and a Pai Mei together and got miso soup (one container is more than enough for two people, did not realise this and got two) too. She got a second Sofie for later before we left. If you can't tell by now I'm super recommending the Sofie! Beatrix and Pai Mei are good too but, well, Sofie for sure if you're only getting a single burrito and not sharing it.

Really good sushi burritos! I love that they have two options for vegetarians, however I only gave it 4 stars because it is kind of bland as compared to Hai Street. Service was fast and nice.

I used to like the food here when the store first opened, but the last 2 times I've been here was not good. I came here for Buredo's 3rd year anniversary and the Beatrice roll was really bland. The miso soup was just awful, like instant soup style/taste.

Went here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I wish there was more customization available but the premed selections can have subtractions, additions and/or substitutions (at a cost). I had the Gogo burrito without the tempura crunch and added some spicy mayo. Not gonna lie, it was really good and the coconut crema was a nice addition. The sweetness was a good contrast to the spicy mayo. I think the "spicy tuna" could have had more actual spice to it but I can understand the need to appeal to the masses and being able to add some Sriracha isn't that much of a deal if its not hot enough for you. They also have real sugar sodas available which is a nice option.

I came to buredo to get a quick bite to eat after work and was not disappointed. There was no line when I arrived at 630pm, so I stood around for a minute to decide what to get. One thing that's weird about this place is they don't have a menu on the wall, luckily they have paper menus along where you would wait in line. On to the food. I ordered the Beatrix which included yellow fin tuna and salmon sashimi, cucumber, pickled cabbage, green onion, tempura crunch, and unagi sauce. It came out to $12.93 after tax which was well worth it for the amount of fish and how filling it was.

This sushi restaurant is one of those food fads that lives up to the hype. I've been to this location several times and the quality is super consistent. It also doesn't have the crazy lines like the 14th & I St. location has from tourists. My personal favorites are the Beatrix and Crazy88 rolls!

Had to stop by to check what the hype was all about. If you are a sushi snob you will like their place. Great costumer and great flavors. Come hungry

The Beatrix is hands down the best! But must try them for yourself ☺ online ordering is key for busy hours.
