Google
Excellent service! Mili was awesome and so attentive- chatted with us about our day. We ordered a Burgermaster (no pickles), onion rings, fries, and a drink. They don’t do combos here! So it was kind of pricey. The burger was good- tasted very similar to Burger King but much larger. The onion rings were sweet. The fries were awful. Cardboard with no seasoning.

Google
This is a drive in, lmao, rooftop access? Why would they have rooftop access? This place feels like Twin Peaks with the David Lynch soundtrack. Oh well. We spent our time musing over chaise lounges and modular furniture on the habitat for humanity resale website. So the wait wasn't long and the server even brought us the receipt! 10/10, but the burgers were good, too.

Google
It has been years since I went to a Burgermaster. I had forgotten how good it was. This is a drive up place, but there are no trays. Food is ordered and delivered to your car in a take out bag. I had a double bacon, onion rings and a chocolate malt. The service was really great. Very helpful.

Google
Burger master has been amazing for a very long time. Great burgers that actually fit on the bun. Pretty good value can you always know you're getting a good burger. Fry's are also very good I advise getting tartar sauce to get them in.

Google
This place was a great experience. I personslly ste in the car and the trays they brought were HUNG on the car window and it was so fascinating. The fries erred cooked to perfection. The burger itself was juicy and a pretty decent size and the sauce on it was reminiscent of rams burgers in California. I also got a mocha shake which tasted spectacular!

Google
Good burgers and my kid's favorite grilled cheese.

Google
Gotta say I'm a Burgermaster lover from way back. The food is always good and I like the tray-in-the-window-of-your-car deal. Employees are always happy. When you order onions on your burger you get a whole slice not a couple of rings or some chopped onion. Yum. Shakes are great - they use fresh fruit. For a fast food drive-in Burgermaster can't be beat.

Google
The atmosphere is welcome and enjoy for a first time the server is funny and professional and she wonderful lady name Lucinda, I order Double Baconmaster which $11.50 then I add on side of Large Fries which is $4.00 and for my drink it was Small Oreo Milk shake which is $4.50

Yelp
Fantastic food. Great service every visit, especially during the power outage. Menu has plenty of options that are actually worth trying.

Yelp
Honestly very pleasantly surprised. The service here was great - the workers are really friendly and prompt. I liked having the option to order on your phone and also with them while waiting in your car. I tried the chicken sandwich and it was really good! Very hot and fresh. Chill vibes since you can just enjoy with friends or on your own in the comfort of your vehicle. It's a bit pricier than Dick's, but I think well worth it for the size of the burger. I would recommend this place to others.

Yelp
I've driven by this place so many times but this is my first time stopping by to check it out. I can't believe I've gotten so far in life without trying a Burgermaster! It's the ultimate American burger joint -- you don't even have to leave your car! Beyond the novelty, these were genuinely good burgers. The Chickenmaster was fresh and juicy with a crispy crust. The baconmaster was also very juicy (I made a mess in the car tbh...) I also like that they come with the typical toppings (lettuce tomato onion pickle) for free! The fries were SO good. Maybe in my top 5. Crispy and thin and a little chewy on the inside. Also the prices!! were so low!! In total we spent less than $25 for two decent meals. In this economy? Amazing. I will definitely be coming again!

Yelp
For a lunch adventure today, Wednesday 28 June 2023, I came to the Burgermaster location on Aurora Avenue North and dined in my car at the restaurant for the first time. I frequented Burgermaster growing up, however, had not tried out the eating in my car experience, so I decided to give it a try. Ordering was straightforward and I could read the posted menu from my car (I parked in stall number 20). The workers I interacted with were friendly and considerate. I went with a baconmaster, onion rings with BBQ sauce as my dipping sauce, and a small mocha milkshake. Mocha milkshakes are my favorite, so I was happy to have one again. Textually it was smooth, the temperature was cool, and the mocha flavor was a perfect intensity. The onion rings were hot and crispy with variable onion slice thickness. I found waiting a few minutes for the rings to cool before returning to them helped me taste the flavor of the rings better. The BBQ sauce was sweet and I thought a good choice to pair with the onion rings. For the baconmaster, the cheese was melty and the grass-fed beef patty well cooked and flavorful. I went with all the toppings including pickles and onion. The vegetables were fresh and the sauce(s) were tasty without being too much. The bun was light, though I do not not if I ate my burger the right way up... Music played as I was eating. The food was served on a tray contraption that got attached to my open car window, which allowed the music and sounds of traffic to flow into my car. For both ordering and having the tray taken away, I followed the turn car lights on for service instruction. An all around fun and enjoyable dining experience.

Yelp
I go here pretty regularly and order a grilled chicken sandwich while my boyfriend gets a double Burgermaster. Not sure what went wrong tonight but instead of getting a single grilled chicken patty, I got what was a chicken patty slices. Some of them looked undercooked so I forfeited the chicken on my burger. Whats more upsetting is that I got our food "to go" and didn't check it until I arrived at home. I also tipped 20% which is annoying on top of paying for an entire meal.

Yelp
This place is so cool! It's an old school drive up and the servers will come to your car and take your order. A lot of people stay and eat in the car. They will provide you a tray or you can get your food In paper bags. I got the chicken tenders and it was so good!! I also really enjoyed the onions rings. I would 100% come back. Great food and service!

Yelp
We stopped by here recently to get a bite to eat before heading to a movie at Oak Tree, but we've eaten here several times over the last 2-3 years. The burgers are good and the fries crisp and just salty enough. Twice we've been served by the same male car hop who is super friendly and nice. We like eating in our car and pretending we're in American Graffiti or Happy Days. It's fun and I highly recommend it to couples and families looking for a good burger joint. Only thing keeping me from giving it five stars are the prices are a bit high, but heck, it's like that everywhere in Seattle!

Yelp
Yummy shakes, onion rings, fish and chips and more... come I. Down and check 'em out. Da bomb broke da mouth ono braddah!! In other words....mouthwatering, delicious, and have go back time and time again!!! Friendly warm staff and excellent service with a warm friendly smile! Down home drive in that makes ya feel like ya aren't in Washington no more!! Sit with food on your window or take it to go. Fun atmosphere and very family friendly!! Yummy!!

Yelp
This is the best burger in Seattle in my honest opinion, because they make them fresh to order okay, so that's nothing new. But they make them like they did in the 60s, without a lot of fluff or advertising or artificial things. Some of the burgers are so big they're hard to eat but they are made extra delicious with Burger Masters own sauce. They also have a generous order of onion rings available made fresh. And the fries will the fries are above average. And they also have plenty of sides like tartar sauce which I like with my fries. And 12 flavors of shakes so you're looking at a 2000 calorie meal but who cares? You only go around once so every now and then you got to treat yourself for the works. So a deluxe me I would cost around $20 a person that's for a cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake. Not to say that the place is less than a quarter of a mile away from my home. So I can walk there since I don't drive. And it's kind of reminiscent of the 60s because they play music outside and they have a table to wait for your to-go order since there is no inside dining. Does it matter what time of day they are open there is always cars there and all of the wait staff are super friendly.

Yelp
10/10 burger and fries, was served quick and food was nice and hot. I didn't try a milkshake this time but I will be back to try one soon

Yelp
We came here for the first time on Sunday, craving a good burger. Service was prompt. We were greeted right away when we drove in and parked. We ordered the double bacon burger master and the crab and Swiss melt and small fries. The burger was huge for $11! It felt like a small newborn baby in my hand--it was so hefty! But it was absolutely delicious! The bacon was crispy, cheese was melty, sauce was delicious, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, yum! The crab n Swiss was surprisingly good. The amount of crab and cheese ratio was spot on. I absolutely recommend everyone to try this place out if you haven't already. We certainly will be back.

Yelp
Jake just blew me away with his service! He could not have been any friendlier! I told him it was my first visit and first he offered to give me time to look at the menu. When he returned, he had incredible suggestions ready to go! He listened to my preferences and guided me through the options! He seemed almost as excited as I was that this was a first time experience! The food came out relatively quickly which I didn't necessarily expect. The burgers were incredible! I'm he milkshakes were the best I've had in a long time! It would be a huge mistake to not give this place a try! The bacon master is just perfect! Again, I cannot say enough good things about Jake!!! I'll be driving out from west seattle pretty regularly to enjoy some Burgermasters!!!

Yelp
Fresh ingredients and tasty menu offerings, great sides (fantastic onion rings/fries) and friendly staff.

Yelp
I've always loved Burgermaster, and it's about time I wrote a review. They serve top-notch burgers, fries, shakes, and other sandwiches. My partner and I often visit this place for its dog-friendly, old 50s-style drive-in format. Burgermaster clearly understands this appeal; their servers always carry dog biscuits, treating and praising our pups with each visit. I am thoroughly pleased with Burgermaster in every aspect.

Yelp
Burgermaster is a Seattle icon and always a great burger! Good quality beef and if you're not in the mood for a burger, try the fish sandwich or fish and chips. Great shakes too! Always fun to people watch from your car on Aurora Ave as well. You never know what you'll see.

Yelp
Pretty good food here, but their ordering system can be really flawed. For drive up ordering, you leave you car lights on if you're ready for service. We pulled up and a server came over to check on us but we told her we weren't ready yet. This turned out to be a huge mistake as she legitimately did not come back to check on us for our order for over 20 minutes even though my car lights were on. I actually had to move my car to a closer spot to get someone's attention to order. Now I could've just got out and flagged a server but that defeats the purpose of drive up ordering. Once we were finally were able to order, they didn't have any fish left which was unfortunate. The food here was solid though. For the prices, portion sizes are solid. I really like their Burgermaster and the fries are bomb. I'd pass on the Chickenmaster though as that was pretty disappointing. I'm not usually a fan of burgers but I'll definitely have one at Burgermaster any day of the week. Let's just hope their drive up ordering system works as intended next time.

Yelp
Worth the try for a unique & upbeat in-car service! Burgermaster delivers a packed menu of burgers, shakes, and seafood. Prices tend toward $7-9 for burgers, and the menu stands out from your usual burger joint with items like the crab grilled cheese. 4/5 FOOD: 1. Fish & chips: a classic! Loved the in-house tarter sauce and the fries. The fish was nicely fried to crispy but a little dry inside and didn't taste fresh. 2. Baconmaster: hefty burger with 3 large pieces of bacon and a tasty mayo & ketchup-based sauce.

Yelp
These folks are really great. I had a problem with a charge on my account, and they did what was needed to ammend any issues. I appreciate a business that takes responsibility and is fair on both ends. And they're delicious with great service. My only complaint is that they really need to update their online menu pricing. They do charge what I would expect to pay in comparison to other similar places (but others not as good), but they are definitely quite a bit more expensive than their online menu. I also really enjoy the drive up environment. I usually go for an "alone time" treat, with minimal social interaction. They are respectful and nice when approaching while still being prompt. I'm excited to come back again for a treat!

Yelp
You wont see me rate a fast food place often. But truth is there are not many fast food restaurants that spark my interest let alone prompt me to write a review. Well there's a first for everything, especially when you see a restaurant with so many positive ratings. Service and Speed was Great! Most importantly the quality was amazing...bun was toasted nicely, the meat was juicy, and the toppings fresh. I don't usually eat pickles but even the pickles did it for me. The fries were seasoned well, hot, and nice and crispy. I tried the seasonal peppermint shake and it too was delicious. This place far exceeded my expectations. So drive on up your taste buds will thank you!

Yelp
My experience at burger master was as bad as it gets!! I parked my car in the car hop service bay. A server came to take my order. When I tried to pay the server with cash I was refused service because 2 months ago burger master stopped taking cash. Burger master even refused to swipe my American express pre paid card. The server told me they turn away tons of customers who only have cash to pay. Cash in America is a legal tender for all debts public and private. Unfortunately burger master was sold in April 2022 to a new owner because the old owners got sick unfortunately. This new owner is discriminating against lower income seattlelites who can't get credit cards or afford checking account fees. Burgermaster is cheap fast food and should accept cash. I had to go to the mcdonalds drive through because mcdonlads takes cash. Burgermaster is barking up the wrong tree be treating customers as such!! I texted burger Masters customer comment phone number and got a we don't care about you response!! Burger master is trying to only cater to high paid tech workers in seattle who have multiple credit cards!! Shame on burger Masters new owner!!

Omar D.

Yelp
Daryl was fast kind and provided excellence in customer service when taking and serving my families order. The experience was perfect definitely recommend the service was exceptional and exactly what we wanted food came out spectacular to mention the least!

Yelp
Burgermaster is an institution. People talk about fast food burgers in Seattle and they go immediately to Dick's, but this place is the true local institution. The burgers at Dick's only taste good after a long night at the bar. I know the Baconmaster at Burgermaster is not good for me, but I will spend a month wanting it and then one glorious night eating it. This isn't drunk food; this is "I'm too tired to cook and I don't want to spend $30 on dinner food." Burgermaster is fast food, but it's fast food you can choose to eat and not need to feel ashamed of. I always get the same thing: one Baconmaster and then a shake I split with my girlfriend. The Baconmaster is a constant, and it's glorious. The bun and the bacon are both works of art. She likes the Burgermaster. With the shakes, we've tried a bunch of flavors, and all of them are great. If you split this milkshake, you will fight over it. Burgermaster is Old Seattle at its best. This place is a delicious rebuke to all of the bland cafes in the obligatory retail space on floor 1 of the millionth condo building.
google avatar

Libby W.

Yelp
I love the Baconmaster, and their onion rings are pretty much best ever, but those 2 items + a shake are over $17 before tip, so just don't go into it expecting Sonic prices. Shakes are super duper thick, and very tasty. Service is quick and friendly. The only thing I've tried that I wouldn't get again was the grilled crab & swiss. It tasted ok, but I expected more from a $12 sandwich - like I either expected physically more sandwich, or I expected to be taken to flavor country. It was kind of a let down all around. You get so much more bang for your buck with the burgers.

Shawn H.

Yelp
This place used to be pretty good, but now it is struggling. The service is going to the bottom. They seem to have built up resentment towards hungry customers who just seeking for a nice meal of the day, and want make it worse whenever they can. With overpriced menu and bad attitude, it was not a good experience. It was maybe the management, maybe the weather, maybe the manipulative server and the cook I met, I don't know. What I know is that it was not worth the trip, and left a bad taste in the mouth.
google avatar

Pat A.

Yelp
Everything we got from here is so good. And the services are always very friendly and such awesome experiences (especially good music). The crab sandwich and the grass fed beef are so good!!
google avatar

Erin C.

Yelp
On a recommendation from a long-time resident, I finally stopped by the location on Aurora, and ordered the crab and Swiss. I almost missed it on the menu, as it's humbly tucked below the line with other "miscellaneous" sandwiches. As soon as I got my sammy from a genial server, I took my first bite. WOW! If this isn't the best sandwich you've had from a drive-in restaurant, or other fast casual spots, for god's sake, PLEASE tell me where you're eating! The crunchy sourdough bread was salaciously buttery, and the crab inside was heavenly. I tried not to gobble it down too fast, but I was hopelessly outmatched. Absolutely one of the best food experiences in recent memory, and by far the best outside of a full-service upscale restaurant. I only wish I could give them a few more stars. Definitely going back to try some other selections, but I don't know how to get by the crab and Swiss on the menu.
google avatar

Mordren C.

Yelp
First time was okay. Im gonna give them a second chance cause their fries and malted milkshake are good
google avatar

Phil B.

Yelp
Solid burger spot. We ordered ahead online and the food was ready within minutes of us pulling up. The fries were well seasoned. Tried the Oreo shake and it tasted great.
google avatar

Forest B.

Yelp
I've been in Seattle for years and finally tried this place the other day! My wife read somewhere that they have a veggie burger, but when we drove up it wasn't on the menu. Luckily, the friendly waitress who came up to our car explained that they *do* have them, the menu just wasn't updated yet. My wife ordered that and I got the classic Burgermaster. We both really enjoyed our burgers, plus the fries were nice and crispy as well. Overall this place matched exactly what I heard about it, great burgers at a good price with a fun drive-up diner style that I really enjoyed.
google avatar

Jeffery B.

Yelp
I look forward being in the area so I can stop by and get the best burger and hot dog in Washington. My mouth starts watering thinking about it. I stopped by on Tuesday night (driving 20 minutes out of my way) and was helped by the nicest server (and in under 2 minutes). The food was excellent, the shake was thick and flavorful, and once again enjoyed the continued quality and service I have had for over 25 years.

Alice L.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Crab Sammy is overpriced, but other options are more affordable. I hope this location stays open!
google avatar

Carla G.

Yelp
Fish sandwich & Pineapple Malt Shake. If you want comfort food get this. They make best Fish sandwiches here. I love it .
google avatar

MarsAttacks ..

Yelp
This place is close to our house and it's nice to walk and grab some food. Burgers are good , shakes are great and service is usually good. Fries are usually kinda ok. They usually taste old like they have been out for a bit. Not hot but sorta warm . Eh. Not my favorite fries. We drove up and the guy helping us was super rude. Barked orders . Wasn't nice at all. He was cut and dry . We asked a question about how much extra a shake is to substitute and he said " I don't know". That was that .
google avatar

P C.

Yelp
Bacon burger was good. Expensive. I suggest they give you a bigger serving of soda and fries for that price. Call ahead.
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
First time here and I did enjoy my food which was a bacon master and fries. Would I come back? Maybe! I still prefer shake shack and dicks over this to name a few based on price and taste. The sauce was good and was a good portion size. I might have to try their double burger and milk shake. I wish they have more fries for 3$. Parking was fairly easy and empty. Very friendly staff.

Krista R.

Yelp
Goooood food best burger and turkey club sandwich I've in a long time yummmmm BaconmasterTurkeymaster

Aneesa O.

Yelp
For such mediocre food they try to scam you out of your money . It's disgusting. I asked for 2 combo #2's and asked for onion rings instead of French fries . They failed to inform me that there would not be an up charge fee but instead they charged EVERYTHING SEPARATELY. What a complete scam . Then they say "the medium & small drinks are the same price yet they literally have 3 DIFFERENT prices on the menu. The man I spoke to was the most incompetent individual I've ever met . He spoke so slow & seemed so out of it like he was on drugs. This place is unsanitary and unprofessional.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst customer service Patricia was unbelievably rude took her glasses off and her gloves off while preparing the burgers touched the burgers with her bare hands. Do not eat here

Davoune B.

Yelp
They need to update their prices. They are wrong on yelp and the worker told me they updated their prices back in JUNE. That's a major oversight on management. I'm not from here and was thinking I was paying a different price
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
While sucking down his milkshake, my 6 year old son alternated between telling me he loved me and that I had to give this place a 5 star review. So here we are.

Jane W.

Yelp
REMINDER: Be sure and check your to-go orders. Yesterday I went to Burgermaster on Aurora and ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 veggie burger w/cheese, plus fries and drinks to go. Repeated the order again to make sure she had it correct. Got to my sister's and there were 3 cheeseburgers, NO VEGGIE BURGER! And no receipt. Niece and I went back 10 miles round trip to get the veggie burger. The gal apologized, yes, it was her mistake, gave me back a random $7, which was basically the tip I had given her, and a veggie burger. Obviously by that time the lunch with my family was ruined, everyone eating at a different time, plus wasted trip, time, and money. Lesson learned.
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
Probably one of the best places you can eat during COVID. Eat in your car without being at a restaurant or at home. Good is great! I love their fish sandwich and crab and Swiss. Only thing is since it's fresh, food takes awhile. Last two times we've been here, it took about 30 mins to get our food.
google avatar

Jazzi T.

Yelp
I've been going here for 25 years love this place! I like the grilled cheese and burger.

Audrey R.

Yelp
This was one spot we really wanted to go to during our visit to Seattle. The individual taking orders was so kind and we really appreciated their patience when ordering! The Dungeness Crab + Swiss Melt really intrigued me and I HAD to have it. Certainly was NOT disappointed. We also tried the Double Baconmaster and it was SCRUMPTIOUS. A little pricey if you're not used to Seattle prices but well worth the taste and service.
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
The customer service here sucks. The place is overrated. The chicken burger patty is really thin it makes me sad and it has a weird fish texture. The guy that took my order kept $1 for himself and it made me mad because I was going to tip him but he just kept it and said nothing like I didn't know what the right change was. Another lady came to help I asked her for extra honey mustard and she never brought it to me.
google avatar

Robert E.

Yelp
Love, love, love their burgers, hotdogs, onion rings and shakes! If you are in the neighborhood, you've gotta check out Burgermaster!

Niranjhan K.

Yelp
I ordered just 1 burger and it took about 40 mins While they are busy , 40 mins wait time is too much They could at least notify while ordering that the approx wait time could be longer and provide with an approx eta instead of letting their customer starve for 40 mins
google avatar

Timmy P.

Yelp
Got their combo 2 (shake, fries and Burgermaster)! It was $12. This place is a fun drive thru and they'll come take your order and deliver from your parking spot. The wait was a little long because it was pretty busy on Saturday. The burger is really tasty and I think the patty and veggies are fresh. The sauce reminds me of a In-and-Out but more tangy...I love it! So good lol
