I stopped by Burgers and Shakes while visiting Miami, and wow — this place absolutely lived up to the hype. From the second I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome, and the place had that clean, laid-back Miami diner vibe that instantly puts you in a good mood. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries and an Oreo milkshake, and everything was spot on. The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor — you can tell they use quality meat and fresh toppings. The bun was toasted just right and held up perfectly without falling apart. The fries were crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. But the real star was the shake — thick, creamy, and packed with Oreo flavor. Easily one of the best shakes I’ve ever had! The food came out fast, the service was great, and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. The prices are super fair for the quality and portion size you get. Whether you’re local or just visiting Miami, I highly recommend giving Burgers and Shakes a try. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately want to come back to.

We stopped by Burgers & Shakes in Miami and were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were excellent — especially the BBQ burger, which arrived with that quiet, smoky confidence that makes you pause mid-sentence on the first bite. The fries were just right, and the drinks rounded things out without trying to steal the spotlight. The milkshakes, though — those were on a different level. Thick, rich, and the kind of sweet comfort that momentweise die Zeit anhält. Prices were absolutely reasonable for what you get. If you are looking for a juicy and flavorful burger in north Miami Beach mmmmmm this is the place look no further you will be at awesomeness once you try ! And beers are cold ! BRAVO!! Huge burgers, great fries and milk shakes if you'd like. Very accommodating with a lettuce wrap for my burger. Love the beach vibe while eating outside. Will definitely be back!

from what I heard, the food is absolutely delicious. My friend is a big supporter. Our other girlfriend got a sandwich next-door at the Sanwicherie, when she came to sit down, not even eat the sandwich while our friend was eating his burger from this restaurant one of the staff members came out and rudely told her that she could not eat her food here even though she wasn’t even eating it. She was just waiting for her Uber.. It was incredibly disrespectful and a huge turn off of me ever wanting to support this business and I want to support all local businesses. I hope this is reciprocated or received well because this is an honest review and the reason why I will not support this business in the future unless respect is given because that should be mutual thank you. I went and bought a sandwich across the street and the staff was so kind, I shared with them my experience and made friends. The only entity you should be in competition with is yourself so please raise the vibration. it’s all love and I hope your staff is taken care of

I stopped in here after the beach. It has a very Miami Beach feel with outdoor seating and loud rock music. The music was good, but loud enough that having an everyday conversation might be hard. The counter service was slow and a bit unfriendly, which immediately put things on the wrong foot. Once I ordered, the food came out quickly. I had a burger, fries, and a beer. The food was better than average and perfectly fine for a casual beach spot, but nothing that stood out as great. I ordered the burger medium, and it came closer to medium rare. Overall, this was about a three-and-a-half-star experience. Under normal circumstances, I would round that up, but the service at the counter pushed it the other way. I would come back if I wanted something quick near the beach, but service matters, and it hurts the experience here.

Omg! This place is so cute! Friendly service and she explained the menu items for us. We ordered the cheeseburger and mahi mahi burger. French fries and onion rings. Everything was HOT and delicious! We sat outside in the cool air and the music was great. Highly recommend!

They make amazingly delicious hamburgers for a really reasonable price! The menu is brief. We had a cheeseburger, a BBQ burger, fries, a strawberry shake and a beer. The burgers were big and juicy and cooked perfectly! The strawberry shake was super thick and creamy and yummy! The beer was $5! We sat outside and they have a mister around the patio that kept us very cool! I would definitely go here again for burgers, shakes, and beers!

This might have been the best burger I've had haha. It was sooo good! And their fries were way better than they looked! And the Oreo shake was just what I needed.

Today was good. We had classic cheese burgers and sliders with french fries and onion rings , everything was good, we order takeout so not sure about how's the service, ambience is fast food kind of vibe.

Placed an online order. They said it would be ready and to arrive promptly at 12:45. Made it to the front to pick it up at 12:50. He's now saying it will be at least 15-20 more minutes. Why does it takeb1 hour

Not too bad burger. It was very reminiscent of five guys. It did a long time because they were busy on a Sunday night. Their milkshake was delicious and would highly recommend. I would go here again but other something else.

This has been a fave spot of mine for burgers especially after a fun beach day. They have great service and great location. I recommend having someone in your party snag a table while the others order because this place is always packed and for good reason. Burgers are always juicy, big, flavorful and fresh. Everything you want in a burger especially when you can taste it fresh off the heat. They also have fantastic fries. I'm huge on fries and I like the way they season and cut theirs. So say yes to the fries and they give you a big portion! Perfect combo. They are also known for their shakes! They have a ton of options and flavors, my favorite being Oreo but if you have a sweet tooth then treat yaself! Can't wait to go back!

Yesss. The Burgers are amazing. I went a friend and he got a burger and I got the fish sandwich. I personally wasn't blown away with the fish sandwich but the burger was amazing. I went back a couple more times and i tries a couple of the different burgers. They were all great. I love the sliders to. Awkwardly enough I still haven't done a shake but will soon. The service was fast. The restaurant is small with minimal indoor seating but I enjoyed the outdoor seating on the sunny days. Highly recommend checking this place out.

been here a few times this place is great for a burger and a milkshake, I usually get a regular cheeseburger paired with a milkshake, the service is great, the wait time varies on how busy they are but the times i've went has been perfectly fine. As for the ambience I do wish there was an interior, but the seating outside is great especially when theres a nice breeze.

Great fries, average burgers and so-so shakes. Probably not worth the 40-minute wait, but the staff work hard to sling everything out in, what is, a particularly impatient neighbourhood.

Customer service is excellent, even though it's self service. Very nice people at the counter. The hamburgers are all excellent and the rock'n'roll music selection is great. The only bad things is the long long waiting time for a meal.

I don't understand why you can't modify the sliders. I wasn't asking for much just a change of the cheese. But apparently the owner told the staff you can't change anything on it and they take it very seriously. Like I just want Swiss instead of American cheese. How difficult is that?

The guy before me was rude and I tried to be extra friendly to compensate. And made sure to tip which I always do even if the food isn't being served. Well, it took at least 30 minutes, I want to say 40 to get our food, my burger was well done instead of medium, maybe that's why it tasted mediocre. And then I got hit with an emergency bathroom situation while on the beach. I have eaten here before and it wasn't as bad so that's why I put 2 stars

My boyfriend got a mahi sandwich & I got a bacon cheeseburger, unfortunately both were underseasoned. The food wasn't horrible but very average so I don't see myself going back. Their sweet potato fries however were yummy! You order at the register and wait for your food at your table. It's a casual but busy place.

This place is always packed so we decided to try it today for a takeout. We both ordered the Sliders x3, French Fries and Sweet Potato fries. The Sliders for both of us were a little disappointing because they were so small: small but good tasting bun, a very thin slice of American cheese, a small thin dry average-tasting burger patty that needs some salt n pepper, lots of shredded lettuce and a LARGE slice of a good tasting tomato. Tasted like every other burger place in Miami. But it did taste fresh. The fries were good but not out of this world. We didn't try the shakes. Would we go back? Mmmm...not sure.

The food was good! The order of fries is enough for two people so save some dollars if you're eating for multiple. The services was good and easy. It is small inside but there's outside seating.

Food was decent good, I have had better burgers in my opinion but it was not terrible. Again, It was decent good. Service, had to wait a while for our 2 sandwiches which sucked. Could have been a little quicker with making but who knows what the hold up was maybe because it seemed to be popular place. Not sure if it was because it was the only decent burger location around? I don't know. I'll give it 4 stars.

Delicious!!! Very rare that you get to choose your burger temperature at a quick service place so I was very excited to not have to eat it well done. They have unique toppings like avocado which I really enjoyed on my burger. The Oreo shake is the best I've ever had, so freaking good! Chili cheese fries were good and absolutely huge. The onion rings were the only thing I didn't like. They were different from what I'm used to and I'm sure some people love them, they just weren't for me.

By all rights this is a 5 star burger joint.....keep reading. Like fire exits and bathrooms, you should always know where the nearest great burger is. You go to The Louvre to appreciate classic works of art. And you go to Burgers and Shakes to appreciate the food. They both take their respective works just as seriously, as evidenced by their cheeseburgers. This place doesn't have much personality inside. You're not coming here to have fun. You're coming for a quick burger. Thick beef patties, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce between a soft grilled bun. Now...let's chat about the rings, French fry's ugly cousin. There's a wide range of quality in the product, it can be a delight or a disaster. The genesis of the onion ring is up for debate. But what's not debatable is the recipe. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and state honestly, simply, kindly, but firmly that hair is NOT in the recipe... except here. -3 Stars Perhaps chef's hats or hair nets can prevent hair from ending up on the menu. May I suggest hiring a bald chef. Bald men are believed to be more dominant and successful. Chris Santos, Michael Symon, Michael Psilakis, and Duff Goldman all turn out hair free dishes. Think about it.

Disclaimer: I will only eat burgers from Burgers & Shakes!! here's why... I went here a few times after moving to the area and decided i'd try the neighboring burger spot "el desembarco." To my grave disappointment and almost 30$ later (after tip and 25$ burger) it was one of the most disappointing, overpriced and pathetic burgers I've ever had the misfortune of trying. I actually wrote my first review ever due to that heartbreak and is still posted in their review ( photo evidence). All this to share with you reading that every time I have come to burgers and shakes is not only enjoyable, but doesn't hurt my wallet! Spare yourself the sorrow and learn from my mistakes and stick to burgers and shakes ! * not a paid ad nor do I work for them or have any affiliation* just a guy who want to praise this establishment ! ty b&s

Very long waits and limited seating. There was no ac inside so it was quite hot. Burgers took 40 min to the quoted time of 25. 4 onions rings for $5 seemed quite a bit over priced to me. Burger had good flavor but over cooked and greasy. Chicken avocado sandwich was very greasy and the chicken was about double the size of the bun making it difficult to eat. For the price, wait and food quality I wouldn't come back

OMG!! Absolutely Delicious Burgers and Fries!! Cooked to your desired taste! Perfection by the excellent grill crew! You choose your choice of toppings too! The only thing we disliked were the Onion Rings :(( They were thin onions and overly breaded and greasy! Pass on them. Otherwise, we Highly recommended this fantastic place! Great Value too!!

This place was awesome. We found it on yelp and took an uber up from mid beach to try it. Burgers were awesome - made exactly to order. Fries were delicious. Milkshake (chocolate) was mediocre. We ordered inside at a counter and received a little pager that buzzed when our order was ready. Tables were outside with misters going. Condiments located in the back of the restaurant. Really great burgers, seriously! Check this place out when you're in Miami Beach!

I've been craving a burger for the past few weeks, and this usually doesn't happen again to me often. The first time I had burgers and shakes was after a long night of drinking and honestly I couldn't really enjoy it all too much because my stomach was fighting for it's life. However, I made the mental note to return when I was in better spirits. Wifey and I wanted to grub on a nice fat juicy burger and we decided let's go back and actually enjoy it this time. From the pictures, you can tell just how savory and mouthwatering the food was. It hit the spot and everything around it. We got a Classic Burger and Chicken burger and we split it in half (the perks of being in a relationship with another foodie) so we could each have a bit of both. The chili and cheese fries and sweet potato fries were the perfect complement to the burgers, and it was at this moment I wished I had a bigger stomach because I honestly had to pep talk myself into making more space to finish most of the food. It was that good. The big finale was the shake, and lemme tell you, the actual Oreo bits in it really made it a happy ending. Only thing I recommend is getting wider straws so the shake goes up easier. 20/10 for the food and experience. Can't wait to come back. P.S when I checked in they gifted me a free beer! Love the little rewards they have.

We walked from our Airbnb and loved that this place was close to the beach. The cashiers were decent, one was nicer than the other. We ordered the grilled chicken burger, sweet potato fries, a slider and a chili cheese hotdog. The food was really good! Everything was fresh and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've ever had. The inside of the restaurant was small so we opted to take our food to go. There were seats outside as an option. Definitely recommend this place!

Oh Yeah! These milkshakes hit the spot!!!! I am amazed at the size of this place. Small and very fast. Great atmosphere and very good service. Burgers are seared to perfection with the right toppings.

Tried this place on first night of vacation and wasn't disappointed. Mahi mahi was awesome and they even offer it in a lettuce wrap! Chili cheese fries were great. Burger was perfectly cooked. Ended with a milkshake to top it off. Yum. Recommend for sure.

Long ass wait, but worth it. For someone who doesn't eat meat, you might not have many choices here. Simple beer selection, but all priced at 5.00. Check in on yelp to get a free bud light. Sweet potatoe fries were frozen and pre-made but they dry them perfectly. The mahi sandwich was probably frozen too but its grilled amazingly. The sauces on top pair so well. I added the pesto and it was such a good decision. The grill flavor and toppings all play nicely. This place is simple, but it all hits the spot.

For food at 2 am when you have no other option. The service will come with attitude and arrogance. The meal will likely be missing something and the flavor will taste like a paper bag. But if you ask them to fix anything- they'll just yell at you. All around 0/10 would recommend

Not so crowded when I came there with my girlfriend to have some bites of burgers. The place was casually good and they have pretty amazing food options. Every they have lots flavor and generous portion size. They have mahi mahi burger and chicken avocado burger which taste so good with great meat and fresh veggies. The fries was so tasty and well-seasoned. They have great options. The drinks were refreshing and so tasty. The coffee was so tasty and has smooth flavor. Nice staff and great customer service.

Hamburgers are great fries were a bit soggy but overall one of the best burgers. We took out so that might be the reason the fries weren't crisp.

So the first time I went I got the Mahi burger and it was decent. I also got a strawberry shake but it was too heavy and too sweet. Second time I went I got the same Mahi burger with sweet potato fries and the Mahi was flavorless and the fries were not fresh nor sweet. Sorry wouldn't go back.

4.35 I was pretty impressed with this spot, especially since I did not have huge expectations. It is small and cozy--a pleasant, uplifting atmosphere. The menu is super simple, just at the cheeseburger I had. Juicy charred meat, toasty bun, and simple accessories. Very nice! The sweet potato fries are the bomb, meaty on the inside and crispy on the outside. Definitely get them over regular fries, which are decent. The B&S Angus Hot Dog was worthy too! I would order it if you have never tried it. The ingredients seem fresh and of decent quality. Being open so late is another beautiful thing! The prices are great, and the service was fantastic!

Messy, but awesome burger! This place is just like Five Guys, but way better! Their onion rings were my absolute favorite! Hot,wet-battered, and crispy! The burger menu has every single topping option I love available. This location is a bit quaint inside, but the staff really does their best on cleaning as soon as one person leaves to have the next customer enjoy their meal.

Landed at MIA around 10:30pm. Picked up the rental and left MIA around 11:15pm. Arrived at Airbnb in North Beach around 11:45pm. All the wife and I wanted to do was eat some food that wasn't airplane cookies and pretzels. We found Burgers and Shakes as it was the only food spot still open after midnight and close to us (North Beach). We both got the Classic Cheeseburger, an order of fries, and two beers. For late night food, I mean late late night food (after midnight), this hits the spot. We were so hungry we practically inhaled our food. 4/5 Yelp stars.

After a long day at the beach, this place was AMAZING! The ordering situation was a bit weird, but I guess it's due to how much space is there. Line was out the door. Wasn't too big of a deal, just confusing. Everyone there was nice and our food was perfect! Juicy burgers bomb fries. It was so good that we placed a second order so that we could eat it later. I live down the street, so that's where i normally take my friends who visit from out of town. Short walk. Definitely recommend!

We knew this place was going to be good when it was 4:30 and there was a line out the door for burgers and shakes! It took a while to get through the line but my food was hot and ready within 10 minutes of ordering. The burger was cooked perfectly and the shakes were amazing. Their fries aren't peanut-friendly but everything else is. I definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant was recommend by a friend claiming the best burgers in Miami. Let's me tell you it did not fall short. The place is small and perfectly located on a corner close by the beach. Just walking distance, so great after a day at the beach! The service was quick and kind, with effective employees. The burgers were delicious! Cooked to a perfect medium well, not over dried. Juicy and yummy! The bun was nice,the lettuce fresh, the tomato slice was perfect sliced , not too thick or thin! A delightful experience since the hype was so big! I'm not usually a dill pickle person, but this pickle was divine! Not too vinegary or tart, just the right amount of flavor and savory ness to cut the fat of the rest of the food. Very surprised very happy! The sweet potato fries were thick cut and perfectly hot and crispy. The best choice! Another surprise was the cleanliness, I've eaten in lots of Miami Beach restaurants and the bathrooms are always gross. Here the bathroom was impeccable!!! Much appreciated and very impressed. It's the small things that make a huge impact on quality, hospitality and experience. They had guys come clean the tables and everywhere you looked it was clean. Overall 10/10 would recommend and would go back! I would even say yes it's one of the best burgers in Miami , the owners should be proud and give the employees a bonus or something to compensate the attention to detail!!
