Best Restaurants, Bars, and Breweries Along the Burke-Gilman Trail | Eater Seattle

"The Burke-Gilman Trail runs directly behind this craft brewery, which made its debut in 2018 as Laurelhurst’s first. Known for its IPAs (including its award-winning imperial hazy), the brewery also offers a stellar rotating lineup of European beers, including a crisp, malty altbier, a Czech dark lager, and an imperial stout cask-conditioned with oak and vanilla. The brewery has loaner bike locks for forgetful folks, and cyclists get a buck off their first beer on Sundays." - Kelly Knickerbocker

Laurelhurst’s First Brewery Is an Ideal Stop for Burke-Gilman Trail Users - Eater Seattle

"Seattle’s brewery scene gains a new member this weekend as Laurelhurst’s Burke-Gilman Brewing opens Saturday, July 21, at noon. The brewery takes the place of Ciao Bella (3626 NE 45th St.) and it’s named for the multi-use trail it abuts. The opening beer list is fairly diverse, including a porter, a hoppy pale, an IPA made with local ingredients, a saison, and a London brown, a historic style popular in England a century ago. Though two of the four owners are former homebrewers, the group — Kenneth Trease, Eric Lundquist, Corey Ovendale, and Ty Ovendale — hired Phil Pesheck as full-time brewer. His resume includes Seattle classics Mac and Jack’s and Georgetown Brewing. In a blog post on the brewery website, Pesheck ruminated on the styles of beer he might dabble with as things get going: “Expect many experimental session IPAs, Double IPAs, Strong ales, Barleywines, Kettle soured, and Barrel Aged brews from me. I’m also very interested in Belgian styles,” he said. Trease told Eater the brewery hopes to “bring on several new beers per week, long term. Hoping to have something new, whenever anyone comes back.” The owners promise to source as many Washington State ingredients as they can, including hops and malt, which they’ve already started with the inaugural IPA. Non-beer drinkers will find a few Washington ciders on tap, plus some nonalcoholic drinks. With the popular bike trail in its backyard, the new watering hole has plenty of bike parking, plus indoor and outdoor seating at tables or a long bar. There isn’t a kitchen, so patrons will be encouraged to bring in food from neighboring restaurants like Great State Burger, just a few doors down. The taproom is kid- and dog-friendly, and the decor is industrial-chic, with wood planks covering the back bar wall and ceiling and gray-blue walls elsewhere. To help fund the business, Burke-Gilman Brewing relied in part on income from a Founder’s Club. Membership ran $150 per person, with perks like T-shirts, pint glasses, a Founder’s Club party, and front-of-line privileges for special beer releases. Starting July 21, the brewery is open Monday 4 to 10 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday noon to 10 p.m." - Megan Hill

Google
Great brewery that has improved in quality and output over the last few years. I know because I’ve had more than 100 different beers here over the years. They always have a variety of different beers and these days they are always tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating. Kids and pets welcome. No meals served but there are options all around from taco truck to burgers to teriyaki to pizza.

Google
This is a standout brewery! They always have great beers and their barrel aged program is stellar. I love that they brew all different types and always have something on tap for everyone. The staff are always awesome and the space is great, inside and outside! There’s also a lot of great food around the area to bring with you to the brewery (El Camion, Great State Burger, Maharaja, Varlamos Pizzeria). Don’t skip this place!

Google
Saw their sandwich board while biking West on the Burke Gilman trail and was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice stop on the trail, the beer's good, and there's a discount if you bike in. I'd recommend to anyone pedaling by to take a look!

Google
I’ve only been here a couple of times, but it’s become my favorite beer stop in Seattle. Little to no food - good pretzels, but otherwise bring your own in - but a GREAT array of brews, local ciders, and gluten-free options. Staff are amazing too; impressed that on my second visit - about four weeks after my first visit they remembered me. I also got to watch the staff navigate the sort of ridiculous boozy apocalypse that happens when it hits 62 and sunny in Seattle and your brewery is right by a major bike route. Cozy indoor and nice outdoor spaces. Kid-friendly until 8. Curated flights, too. And every beer I’ve tried has been solid.

Jeremy Yowell

Google
The vibes were on point, the beers well varied and tasty, and the great food options nearby were spot on. This was a top tier brewery experience, absolutely will be back.

Google
We love the beers here! There are always lots of interesting options that aren’t just IPAs which I really appreciate. One of our first times here several years back they took a polaroid photo of our doggo who has since passed, so it’s always nostalgic to find her pic on the wall when we come now 💜 There’s also excellent food from the El Camión truck a block away that you can bring to the brewery!

Sarah Yukes

Google
This brewery finally opened! Large indoor and outdoor space that is kid and dog friendly right off Sand Point Way. Small amount of parking, but still appreciated! As we went on the grand opening and it was 80F outside it was busy. They only have beer, a few guest ciders, free pretzels and a few standard soft drinks. Their beer is hit or miss but I expect this to get better with time. Avoid the Burn the Ships pale for now :). As I live in this neighborhood I welcome this new joint and am pleased it's far enough away from Ravenna brewing that they won't be competitors because I want them both to stick around. Welcome, Burke Gilman!

Google
Such a great location! Beers were amazing and the service put it over the top!

Yelp
This might be my favorite place in all of Seattle. Here's why: 1) Great beer. Seriously, it keeps winning awards. 2) Bight, cheery, friendly atmosphere. Outside in winter I like to get cozy by one of heat lamps or fireplaces. 3) Terrific staff. They could not be nicer. 4) There are tons of food options in close walking distance that you can bring in to eat. Sometimes I'll get Mexican good and my husband gets a burger and our friends get Indian good, and we're all happy. 5) When I'm driving there's always parking nearby. 6) If I want a place to do work in the afternoon, I can always find a quiet table with a plug. 7) They run a program where you can buy a beer for parents whose kids are down the block at at the Children's hospital. The owners are seriously good people. 8) You can check out the good dog wall with pictures of very many good dogs 9) They often have interesting things going on -- I've played trivia, seen talks from local experts at UW (they call those "smarty pints"), ordered from food trucks on nice summer days. Once they even had a book truck there. Swoon. 10) Because it's so dog friendly, there are nearly always very cute dogs around. I used to live nearby there and would go all the time. Now that I've moved across town, I'm not there as much, but I still visit when I can. The place is seriously a gem. I can't recommend it enough.

Yelp
Service is always great, especially from Emily! This is a great place to pause a bike ride and get refreshed with on of their huge selection of beers.

Yelp
I was passing by and wanted to get some beer or cider to go. They not only have everything available to go (if they have it on tap of course), but they can put it in a can to go for you! I had to dash today but I can't wait to come back and enjoy a brew and some food. I got a pint size can of the Habanero Lime Cider to go! They poured it into and sealed the can right in front of me. How cool is that?
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome local brewery. Great vibe, close to food options, tons of good beer options, plus NA options. Kid friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
As someone who recently started liking beer and can't handle anything too intense like IPAs, Burke Gilman has recently become a go to. They always have a wide variety of beers and ciders so there is something for everyone and they are very helpful with explaining the types of beer/ letting you try a sample if needed. I have gone more than a few times and have always gotten great service and been able to find seating easily.
google avatar

Rebecca Q.

Yelp
Very chill and casual neighborhood spot for families and runners/bikers to stop at along the trail. Enjoyed the habanero lime and mosaic orange ciders with nice views on the outdoor patio.

Yelp
This is a great local brewery. They have a nice selection of beers and you can get different sizes. They have trivia on Tuesday nights, which is really fun. The service is excellent and super friendly. You can have kids and leashed dogs here. I went here on a non trivia night and it was hard to get a table since later in the week is really popular. El Camion food truck is nearby where you can order ahead and eat it at the brewery. You can bring outside take out in. You get 10% off if you work at Seattle Children's Hospital. I'm a fan and will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
First place we went to when I got my bike was here! It seems like thats where all the bikers go! There was a discount if you ride your bike there on Sunday. Folks were nice and they knew a lot about their brews. It's right along the Burke Gilman trail.
google avatar

Yelp
As I'm writing this review, I'm enjoying one of their beers, I got, to go, a tasty hazy that goes by the name 'Dry Spell', the saying on the can reads ' it's winter, we don't have to worry about a dry spell for awhile' , truth spoken there about the PNW! Enjoying the rain and all the flavorful beers here. So many great breweries, I can get FOMO just thinking about it! Lol Between the beers tried at the brewery and home from Burke-Gillman, they do a great job of brewing a well diverse palate of brews, at the moment, they have some great WC and hazy, low ABV brews, full of flavor, not over hopped, go down way too smoothly. Also yummy sours and seisons. A beer or cider or wine for anyone. If you ride in on a bike on Sunday, you get a discount, and no! If you hike in ya don't! Trust me, I tried. Lol and yet I can still say the service was friendly and knowledgeable, great conversation about hops used, going to use, and ones to be spoken of no more. Great location, close to U of W, so I didn't dare wear my Cal hat. However, their beers, especially the hazy and sour reminded me of one of my favorite breweries in Berkeley... I'll let you try the brews and guess which one I'm talking about. Looking forward to return visits. Lots of food choice's near by, that you're welcome to bring in. Outside seating as well, on those dry spells. Happy Yelping, God bless and cheers!

Yelp
If there's one thing that Seattle has a good amount of, it's breweries. And for that, I am THANKFUL. Not all breweries are created equally, though, and Burke-Gilman definitely is a force to be reckoned with in the beer scene. Admittedly, I stopped by because I happened to be working with them on a Diaper Drive in benefit of Step by Step based out of Puyallup, but I stopped by one day.... And then I stopped by the next day, too. Whoops. They are small on the inside, but they have outdoor seating with several tables. They have heaters, but I wouldn't say that put off a great amount of warmth, so wear layers if you get cold easily. The beers are SUPER tasty. I love that they did an International Women's Day Brew during March - I forget the name but I know the word "sisters" was in it. Loved it so much! Had a few of those both days I went. I also love their Hypothesis IPA - lots of flavor in that one. Another really cool thing that I spotted that they do is "Buy A Beer For a Seattle Children's parent," which is pretty self-explanatory. You can beer-it-forward and purchase for a parent going to/from Seattle Children's. I think that's a really awesome thing to do and commend them for giving the community the opportunity to support parents, even if it just means with a tasty beer. You'll also find some really great "I Don't Drink Beer With Racists" stickers here, which I promptly purchased and slapped on my laptop. #realtalk Love beer? Go here. Thank me later.

Yelp
We loved our trip to Burke-Gilman Brewing. We had tried some of their stouts and barley wine at a Winterfest event and were excited to visit their brick and mortar location. The long and short of it: excellent beer, great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and trivia night was a hoot even though our team (Griffey Gang) came almost in last. Beware it does get quite busy on Wednesday nights!

Yelp
Quite a cool little spot just a few blocks from Seattle Children's Hospital. We dropped in while one of our little dudes was at an appointment and discovered some delicious IPAs with hops from where we hail from! The hopsplainer and hopothesis were both gold medal winners in the 2020 hazy IPA category and were lovely! They are definitely an IPA heavy spot, but do you have a number of a good number of Belgians that are available and, per the report, some upcoming barrel aged stuff. They had seven or eight different options in the cooler as well as some juice boxes for the young lads. When the world opens up again, this will be a super cool spot to check out and actually sit down to have a beer at. Easy to get in and out, especially if the parking spots are open!
google avatar

Ricky R.

Yelp
I saw these guys for the first time at fresh hop fest in Yakima. They had the longest line. We tried a few of the barrel aged beers. A strong ale and a dubble. The strong ale was my preferred of the two, but both were nice. I will have to check it out again in the near future.

Yelp
Large outdoor, covered seating area. Social distancing wasn't really enforced so we didn't stay long. The beers suggested to us were ok but not great. This might be a fun place to meet friends after the pandemic but for now we'll pass.

Yelp
What a great brewery! We came for a philanthropic event, Diapers and Brews, in which we bring a package of diapers to donate to low income pregnant/nursing mothers, and Burke-Gilman brewing pours us a free beer! What an amazing cause! They have a good selection of beers, and ciders, and while I'm not usually a cider-girl, theirs were exceptional - not too sweet, with the perfect amount of flavor. I tried the Habanero Lime Cider with the intention of ordering a different beer/cider the second time, but it was so delicious, I couldn't resist ordering a second glass of the same. That being said, my fiancé ordered the Cashmere Cider, which is not to be missed. There is a parking lot next to the building with plenty of spots, a definite plus in Seattle.
google avatar

Jane M.

Yelp
Nice brewery in U District. Went there on a Sunday evening and was surprised to see it was empty. Ordered their Habanero Lime cider and totally enjoyed it. Plenty of outdoor seating with not the most effective outdoor heaters (hence we had to rush back home).. they dont have indoor seating yet.. staff is polite and ambience is nice and casual to grab a few beers with friends.. will visit back during Summer..
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Love this place, great beer, fantastic staff, smiling kids and babies, happy dogs and mudbay treats for the puppies. I will update a live post via check in soon. Highly recommend it!
google avatar

Marina B.

Yelp
Good bear, nice patio with fire places, friendly staff and a tables within 20mins on the weekend. Personally, I see no reason not to enjoy this place! :)
google avatar

Mo G.

Yelp
Dog-friendly was a huge plus! Good beer and atmosphere! No kitchen so no food, but there's no worries there since there's a pizzeria across the street along with Jak's and el camión taco truck a few feet from the brewery's outdoor seatings! Would root lay recommend this spot on a nice sunny afternoon in this Burke-Gilman trail hole in da wall brewery!
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
I haven't gotten to too many breweries on the west side. Burke-Gilman Brewing is excellent! There is lots of seating inside and some outside too. It has an open, friendly, and bright vibe. Right at the front you are greeted by the list of beers and the place you can make an order. I wanted a sampler and was given a card to mark off everything I wanted. The sampler trays come in 5s or 11s, but you can really pick as many or as few as you'd like. I sampled 9 of the beers on tap, and everything I had tasted fresh and was unique. There wasn't one single beer that really stood out as my favorite, but it was all good. Burke-Gilman gets my stamp of approval.
google avatar

Mateo M.

Yelp
Back before this place opened I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new neighborhood brew house. However, I did have some level of trepidation about what the beer quality would be like. Let's face it, a lot of new breweries are hopping on the craft beer bandwagon just to make a buck. When a a brewery is just trying to make money and doesn't care that much about the quality of their product, it is fairly obvious. Fortunately, that has not been the case with Burke-Gilman Brewing. From day one the owner-operators of this brewery proved to be true connoisseurs- artists of the craft and beer nerds in the best possible way. They know beer inside and out, and they're very excited about beer and are highly motivated to develop superior products. While many breweries seem hesitant to put out anything but drab IPAs, these guys are not afraid to produce a wide variety of beer styles (as well as IPAs both experimental and traditional). They create a regularly rotating selection of outstanding beers and there is something on the menu to suit anyone's pallet. This is the kind of place where you want to come and hang out while taking your time with a good beer there is cozy indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio area. While there is no food in-house, they allow you to bring food in. The pro move is to get some primo tacos from the neighboring El Camion food truck to pair with a BG brew to eat on-site or to take to go. Speaking of which, this place is very convenient for to-go beers because they do growler fills and have crowler cans for those of us who don't carry glassware around with them at all times. I really enjoy being able to walk into this place and have conversations with the people that own the establishment and make the beer that I'm ordering. Patronizing an establishment that serves the community from within is great for both the consumer and the business. Supporting small, locally owned businesses as much as possible is good. It's nice to know where the products you buy come from, but actually interacting with the people that make those products is next level, especially when they are honest-to-goodness good folks. The bottom line: this is great beer from great people at a good price. Please drink local an support this great brewery!
google avatar

Marc B.

Yelp
Great Beer. Great Service. We'll be back! We had a very enjoyable experience at the Burke-Gilman Brewing Company and can't wait to head back and try more of their beer. I had the kolsch which was crisp and smooth and had to get a crowler to go.
google avatar

Kaanchana A.

Yelp
I got the habanero lime cider and it was delicious! The spice in it is the perfect level where you can absolutely sip on it and taste ALL of the flavors not just the spice. The lime taste went great with the cider taste. I would've never expected to love this combination of flavors. Definitely going to come back again just for this super unique cider! The ambience of the outdoor seating is quite calm. The heaters are the best and the owner is super sweet. Only thing missing was some house music. Overall, loved the entire experience along with the drinks!
google avatar

Debbie P.

Yelp
It's location near The U and the Burke Gilman trail will definitely get traffic. We actually came on opening day and it was hella busy!!! But staff were well equipped to handle the crowds and the line went pretty smoothly. There are lots of seating options - at the bar, tables (bar height and picnic tables) throughout, and seating outside. They allow kids and dogs, so that's always a plus! There were about 14 offerings (both beer and cider) for opening day. I'd say about a third were guest taps - we tried the 111 mile IPA, Burn the Ships really hoppy ale, and the Belgian Blonde. All were good beers, but to be honest I wasn't "wowed". I hope my next visit will have a beer I can brag about...
google avatar

Gary W.

Yelp
Came by on the 2nd day, Sunday after they opened to try a flight of their beers and to see if I wanted to join the Founders Club. Arrived a little after they opened and found an enthusiastic staff and plenty of beers to try on there first weekend. The space is open, with covered outdoor seating, accessible to the Burke-Gilman trail, kid play area and dog friendly. Already had a group of bikers drinking beer and eating tacos and burritos from the taco truck nearby. As for the beer, I found all the beers to be good and accessible to drinking a few as the ABV was around 5.4 on most of the beers. The Saison and Belgian stood out as the best of the flight with the IPA coming up 3rd for my taste. My wife really like the beers and she signed up for the Founders Club and got a nice stainless 64 ounce growler, glass and a t-shirt. You can check the website for all the other benefits and cost; while available. This is an excellent place as a stop over for bikers on the Burke-Gilman and for locals with children and dogs to hang out and have a few beers, for the adults.
google avatar

Sara L.

Yelp
Lighting way too bright. Is the establishment a brewery / bar or an ice cream parlor for children? We will think twice about coming here again because of the excessively bright lighting alone. Way too much light - it's a buzz kill. Tables were dirty, trash on benches and underneath. Staff member was sitting, on his phone when we entered. Beer quality average. Chairs and tables shoved to the edges of rooms, stacked??? Much room for improvement all around.
google avatar

Brian G.

Yelp
Stop 2 on my xmas eve "free from the cone of shame" run with my pooch. LOVE the selection here - there is something for everyone. I was especially impressed with the Belgians on tap. Will be back again.
google avatar

Tammy E.

Yelp
Great setup here right off the BGT. Went to pickup a bunch of brews pre-ordered online and it was super quick and easy. My partner got a 32 oz takeaway of some interesting sounding IPA on tap. Wish they had food here or teamed up with a food truck but that would probably make them even busier than they usually are! I will update this review when we go back for a proper tasting once we are vaccinated and restrictions have eased.
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Big fan of this spot! It's ideally located, with beautiful seating on the inside and outside, and actually good food options really nearby that you can easily bring in. Staff is super friendly and nice, they have a great selection of beers, and I especially liked their saisons. Plus their beers are really reasonably priced! If you have trouble deciding they are very willing to let you sample. It can get pretty crowded on busy nights but we didn't feel like we needed to jostle at all. It's both family friendly and young-people friendly, as there were several families with kids and also groups of college kids all enjoying their time. It does get cold outside at night so I wonder if they might be able to utilize their outdoor space for more of the year if they had heaters outside.
google avatar

Christina W.

Yelp
If you want a family friendly, dog friendly local brewery, look no further! My friends love to bike on the Burke Gilman trail and end here for a drink. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating is lovely, with string lights, shady trees and nice wooden tables. They are currently requiring proof of vaccination to sit inside, and a mask to order inside as well, so bring a mask or a vaccination card to order. Nothing required to sit outside.

Yelp
My husband and I were in the neighborhood and decided to try BGB. First off, parking can be a bit of an issue. Small lot on site, which is a shared lot. There is some street parking, but on a busy Saturday I imagine it can be challenging. There is a cute patio outside, with heaters (fall/winter in Seattle, this is a must). Walking inside, lots on the menu board! Holy samples, Batman! We had our work cut out for us, and had to try them all! You have 2 choices for sample trays, 5 or 11. Go big or go home, as we always say! Quite the fete, let me tell you! The sample tray was as long as I am tall! All the beers we sampled I would call average. My favorite was the double hazy. You would never know this was a double, which is trouble! Too easy to drink! In case you get hungry, there's lots of options near by! Burger joint, my favorite taco truck (El Camion) and Thai across the street! Bring your food in and enjoy with a pint... or 3! Cool spot!

Yelp
I went here on opening weekend. The place was pretty busy... like most new businesses that open... especially eating places and breweries. A lot of places that just open have a rocky start to handling the customer flow but that wasn't an issue here at all. Things kept moving at a very good pace. Due to quite a few customers being here there was no seating inside at all but I manages to snag a spot along a wall where there were other brewery patrons and that was fine. In the summer these seating arrangements are actually a pleasure... in most cases. Burke-Gilman Brewing is right next to the Burke-Gilman trail which is a walking, bike path type trail for the city. So keeping the theme going I ordered the Burke Stout and the Gilman Porter. Not quite what I wanted on a warm summer day... those beers are better at least in my mind when it's cooler out but they were definitely enjoyable regardless. The beer I think I liked better was the stout. I like breweries that have a experimental or a risk taking creative side to their beer flavors. I didn't quite find that here but the beer was enjoyable enough and the staff was very friendly and eager to please the whole time that I was here.

Yelp
Fun place to stop in for a taster or five. We stopped in the middle of our bike ride. My husband enjoyed several of the beers enjoying the endurance IPA the best. I tasted the cherry and raspberry ciders, both very good, but I believe they were brewed by someone else. Over all pleasant visit. They have a nice outdoor patio with bike parking which was very convenient for us. Also it was Easter and they had eggs with candy on the table that just added to our enjoyment.

Yelp
Came in Saturday night and enjoyed a relaxing time. To be honest, we tried to go to Ravenna Brewery first but they had a line out the door. We were happy to see that Burke-Gilman had their own parking lot and we were excited to be seated right away. We appreciated their COVID-preparedness. We had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The indoor space was huge and the booths had additional clear plastic partitions which went all the way up the ceiling. There were also clear signs for where people could sit. Beers were great. Felt like they were very thoughtful with their brew!
google avatar

Ruth E.

Yelp
Multiple options, all beautifully balanced and individual, great attention paid to getting each variety just right. 3 different Saisons. Several variations of German brews, including a Vienna Lager (delicious), an Altbier (also delicious) and a Pils (that we didn't try). Also tried a Belgian monastery-type beer, recommend that one too. Each beer was complex and well balanced, and this team doesn't do the aggressive hop thing that one finds a lot around Seattle. We were able to try some but not all of the beers on our first visit here. They also serve ciders from Greenwood Ciders. We enjoyed the lingonberry one, didn't try the others. We plan to return, for another flight of different tasters. They don't serve food at present, but there are a food truck and a burger place nearby.

Yelp
Fun little pub with quirky seating and a decent beer list. Great ambience and local feel. Little hidden corners to hang out and meet groups in, fun pub and easily walkable to a bunch of others in the area.

Local beer, great space and easy street parking near by. There is limited seating side so be sure to make a reservation for larger groups. Like that you can bring in outside food. Venue is open to all ages and dogs. This is their brewery as well so best that beer is made on site.

Yelp
I liked this brewery. It's a nice new, open taproom that's also kid friendly. They had a good variety of beers, lots of different saisons and Belgian style beers. I liked the options. We were able to sample a few different beers before deciding. It was a good stop!

Yelp
Met friends at Burke Gilman Brewing for trivia night on Wednesday! The staff was friendly and eager to help me choose my flight even with a few people in line behind me. The space is warm and inviting with a good amount of seating without the space feeling crowded. The trivia was lighthearted and fun without being too easy or too difficult, and the MC for trivia was engaging and fun. I'll be revisiting in the summer when the patio is open!

Yelp
Great new brewery that just opened on 45th before it becomes Sand Point Way/at the base of the Laurelhurst neighborhood. Very clean space, lots of outlets at every table and many bar seats. The brewery has a lovely wooden decor and great local art. The brewery is dog friendly, and has an amazing outdoor seating space with long communal tables. I tried the IPA and the Pale Ale. The IPA was delicious, and the Pale Ale was okay. 5 stars for the friendly staff, and for putting a brewery at the base of my childhood neighborhood. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Good selection of beers. Inside and outdoor seating. Kid and dog friendly. Great spot next to Mexican food truck Great State Burger. The only downside I can see is maybe limited seating on a sunny day. We'll definitely be back. Great addition to the 'hood.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful addition to our neighborhood! The beer is delicious and they are so consistent with their offerings - always debuting new drafts but maintaining excellent regulars. The staff are so nice and the owners very kind and welcoming. They host trivia and events all the time, always welcome kids and dogs, and seem to genuinely care about the community. The beer is excellent. There are not just six Pacific Northwest IPAs and then, a token lager or pale ale. They always have a variety that fits all sorts of different tastes. The space is great - whether you are inside or out. We're all very lucky to have this in our neighborhood.

Yelp
Very cool location and setting. Beer was OK - sort of flavorless and inexpensively made. Found it humorous to be scolded for mask wearing - not a soul in the place wearing masks - yet hostess felt it necessary to comment on it when our were askew when ordering.

Yelp
Quaint little brewery with a unique assortment of beers, all very tasty! Head brewer Phil is very knowledgeable and passionate about his beer. He tells the story of how each beer was made and is happy to recommend one to you. Great atmosphere, dog-friendly, and there's a taco truck next door!

Yelp
We had an excellent stop at BG Brewing. We popped in to put our name down for an outdoor table and then took a long wonderful stroll down the trail and back. Finishing up our walk with delicious beer and cider on the outdoor patio was just what we needed! FYI Dogs are welcome and there are some tables w outdoor fires for heat.

Yelp
Super friendly, super attentive staff, and delicious cider! You can grab food at the Mexican truck a block down and eat it here! The staff was soooo nice, and the pineapple cider was great! Definitely would come back.

Yelp
Came here after taking the pups to Magnuson off-leash dog park for a couple pints. Great location and they've got El Camion food truck in the lot next to them! The beers were great and there was plenty of room inside. They're very dog friendly, which we always appreciate, and have a wall with polaroids of all the pup patrons!

Yelp
Such a cool spot in such a fun area! Loved that there was a parking area instead of having to find street parking! They have flights of 5 or 11 so of course my mom and I had to brave the 11. Board games, pretzels and water helped us finish the flight :) our only qualm was that children were allowed in the brewery, which threw off the mood a little but still such a great place with amazing and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I love this brewery. Great beer. Great people. Great location. Today I went there and I sat on the patio. Six feet was clearly marked and each seating area had a green sign that said 'this has been disinfected '. We sat there a long time. People came and went... nobody wiped the tables. Eventually I went in and said 'i hate to be rude, but nobody is wiping those tables ' several minutes later someone came out and sprayed one of the four vacated tables. More people came and sat down on tables that said 'this has been disinfected ' even those clearly hadn 't. If we don't follow the rules, we're going to end up back at phase 1
