"Burly Coffee has three locations in Bed-Stuy and, for some reason, the one on Throop doesn’t get as crowded as the others. There are some cafe tables in the front, and two long tables in the back with plenty of outlets. King David breakfast tacos and donuts from Dough are on hand, along with the excellent coffee, and house-made breakfast items on weekends. Burly’s newest location on Atlantic is a bigger, brighter, modernized space, but we like the local, personal feel of this one more. " - Neha Talreja, Nikko Duren, Carina Finn Koeppicus

"Sonbul at Burly is a new venue where Taeil Kim will serve his California take on Korean American cuisine. It is subleasing the space at Bed-Stuy’s Burly Coffee at night, located at 356 Throop Avenue, at Dekalb Avenue. Dinner service is from 5 to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays through Saturdays." - Emma Orlow

Usually have a nice experience in this coffee shop with the atmosphere when I go late afternoon time, went today with my sisters who are visiting from over seas for my birthday and had the worst experience ever. We ordered three coffees and three pastries, spending almost 40 dollars including tip (!!) Tasted the dirty chai we had ordered which left the worst most chemical taste in our mouth that we had to brush out to remove. When we went back to get another coffee to replace it he said he would have to charge us for the new coffee ( wth, not good customer service at all? There’s a problem with your chai ??). Hilariously enough he said that he had drank the leftover chai, which hadn’t even been filled fully either. Also I had my loyalty stamp card with me and he only stamped it once for all three coffees lmao. Would it recommend. Avoid this place, would leave no stars if could.

A very good place with a variety of food, drinks. I wish the kitchen was open during the week because their sandwiches are killer! Super friendly baristas too, Anderson is the sweetest!

The coffee here is wonderful! Dark, rich, and chocolatey. A few vegan options are available but not a whole lot to eat in general. Bright, trendy, modern.

Great coffee and barista. Looks like a great place to spend some part of the morning working as well. Will be back.

A chic coffee spot in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. They have free wifi and limited seating - thus, the place is oftentimes crowded and it is sometimes unlikely to find a spot. The staff is really nice and friendly. Would highly recommend for a quick coffee and breakfast. They have a small yet good selection of food! I tried the goat cheese arugula croissant with an oat mocha.

Delicious Canadian Bacon sammie! And hot sauce not too bad either :) howd you get the eggs to stay in a pattie like that?! Seating in the corner feels a bit off, but the grub and matcha make up for it! Will be back for the maple latte!
