Burly Coffee

Loved the maple latte I got! Also a great modern/industrial interior. The coffee seems to be well made and the barista didn’t cut corners to make sure that the espresso was made properly.

I'd second other's positive comments - comfortable seating, polite service, pretty good coffee, pastry, etc. One small complaint: IMO coffee should be hot enough that it still tastes hot (not merely warm) after a small splash of cold milk; certainly, coffee at many, many coffee shops is this hot. This coffee was not *that* hot this afternoon, and, though I was able to get a bit more coffee in the mug as a 'warmer', it took more negotiating than I would expect (and again: more than I normally have to do!), under the circumstances ...

very very solid cappuccino, amazing job to the barista! the vibes are on point too, light airy high ceiling industrial interior, with a good variety of seating options, from high tops facing atlantic ave, to wooden tables / chairs, and to leather sofa. just the ac can be very strong, maybe bring a layer.

Amazing spot for good coffee and some brief coworking if needed. Ample seating with some spots with outlets. Nice and bright and plant filled - really like the store here. Service was great and the Point Break is so so so so so so so so delicious (even if it’s $9.80 before tip) - prices are meh, but I guess that is normal now so I can’t complain. Excited to come back here on the regular.

Underrated, hidden gem — not crowded and so quaint even at noon on a Sunday! Perfect getaway for some chill time with coffee, treats and book/laptop brought along.

Superb iced vanilla latte. Recommend with regular or oat milk. We got the rose cardamom latte as well which I thought was a bit bitter and not as good. 10/10 one of the best vanilla lattes I’ve had. To nitpick, maybe just a tad sweet.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Brooklyn. I only wish they were open later during the week. Other than that, it’s great. Love the vibe. Drinks and well crafted. You can tell the people there cafe about their job and the craft. Good pastry selection.

Good coffee spot. The coffee itself is great and the space is very welcoming with plenty of seats. I like the fact they're open till 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays as that's rare in this part of town. One thing to improve on is having a wider selection of food items. When I went (around 6 pm) they were all out of snacks / baked goods.

A new coffeehouse in Brooklyn that brings life to this business industrial locality in Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill. There are abundant seating and laptop electric outlet charging stations where patrons are deeply engrossed clicking away heads and eyes affixed to screens. I like how the menu is next to the cashier in a picture frame which I do not have to strain my eyes or head to their walls behind the cashier as the stolid standard. I am not a avid coffee enthusiast, but I like to patronize supporting local businesses. I decided for small iced green tea at $3.75. Disappointedly Burly Coffee does not have lemonade unlike their national chain competitors Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks. Customer service is attentive and friendly. There is a punch card (aka loyalty card) where the ninth coffee is free. The graphic design of this loyalty card back is egregious depicting a man keel over in a very despondent and melancholy disposition. The loyalty card front depict a fist punching the card holder which appears incite aggression and violence adding to an existent violent world which encourage relentless unprovoked assaults. Very malevolent. Can this business hire a better graphic design artist who can depict something positive and enlightening especially during post COVID-19 era?

Solid coffee shop on Atlantic Ave between Crown Heights and Clinton Hill. I worked here for a few hours on a Wednesday morning. By the time I arrived around 10, it was pretty packed but there was some bar seating. It cleared out around lunchtime. The coffee was good but on the pricey side. I liked that there's a couch in addition to the usual table/chair setup.

Super cute space. The frozen cortado is the best summer coffee ever. A must try in the muggy heat, and it's nondairy!

Ample seating, great ambiance, comfortable chairs and the coffee was good too. Also very friendly baristas. We need more coffee shops like this where you can comfortably work.

Love Burly, their coffee is great and staff are always kind. I don't know why someone gave them 3 stars due to their graphic design of the "punch cards", it's literally a pun lol.
