Burma Burma is truly a resturant that you should specially plan and visit.
I went here with family. The restaurant is not so big, only 20 tables I suppose but it's quite cozy and doesn't feel crowded. The ambience adds to the charm and complements the food.
Talking about the food, it was amazing!!!
The khow suey was perfectly balanced and exactly how it should taste. No flavour was overwhelming. It became the perfect broth to enjoy the with side sauces and the toppings. I ordered it with rice noodles which were cooked just right. Overall it felt like a warm hug.
Then I had something which looks like idlis in the picture, but it's actually buns with tofu patty in the middle. The patty was hot and crisp but the dish overall lacked some extra flavours, so I ate with the side sauces which made it taste amazing.
This place has the most INSTAGRAMABLE dessert. I only tried one, which you can see in the pictures and it was heavenly. Not too sweet and the tartness of the berry pearls added another layer of flavour.
For me the star of the show was the green chutney. It isn't your typical green chutney (right most dip in my picture) it's the best condiments I've ever tasted in any restaurant. It had a very subtle garlic flavour with the right kind of spice. I even asked them to pack some for me and they were gracious enough to give me 2 small boxes for free.
The other dips were great as well. You will be served all these dips, make sure to try all of them and pick your favourite.
Overall, the food was a solid 9.5. It's a vegetarian restaurant and middle everything can be prepared in jain as well. My overall bill for 5 people was around 3000. Service was quick even during rush hours.
This place is suitable for dinner with friends or family.
