Good bibimbap/kbbq place in Addison - just happened to come across it while I was in the area, so my friend and I stopped by for lunch.
The ordering process is quite simple and efficient. When you walk in, you can just sit at a table and scan the QR code for the menu and order straight from your phone! The food is delivered to your table if you're dining in! The only negative is that if you use separate phones to open the menu and order, then it creates separate tabs, which is a little inconvenient if you're trying to pay together.
They had a dine-in lunch combo, so we both went for that. I got the bulgogi bibimbap on hot stone with classic mandoo (fried dumplings with soy protein), and my friend got the BBQ chicken bibimbap with beef mandoo. The combo also came with a bowl of miso soup, so this was plenty of food for each of us. The combo comes with 2 mandoos, so we traded a mandoo so we could try the other flavor. I liked the soy protein (classic) mandoo, as it was rich in flavor without being overpowering. But honestly, I'm not a huge fan of fried dumplings. For the bibimbap, you can customize the egg, rice, and veggies in your bibimbap - I chose sunny-side-up egg, brown rice and got all the veggies listed (bean sprouts, kimchi, broccoli, carrots, etc.).
I had a bite of the bbq chicken bibimbap, and I liked the bulgogi better. The bulgogi has more sweet flavor, and I personally enjoy the thinly sliced pieces more than the larger pieces of chicken. I loved the crispily burnt rice at the very bottom of the stone bowl! I had some rice left over at the end of my meal, but it was SOOO good! I would definitely come back for a casual lunch hangout!
