Where to Find the Best Birria Tacos in Metro Detroit | Eater Detroit

"A small, unassuming suburban spot in a Novi strip mall run by cooks from various Mexican states, offering an extensive menu that reflects that diversity. The birria here is a hybrid stew combining marinated beef and lamb and is available both in tacos and as a dinner platter; taco meat is also sometimes a mix of marinated goat and beef. The variety and generous preparations make it a go-to for those seeking multiple traditional proteins and preparations." - Monica Williams

Google
It‘is in the corner of the plaza, actually pretty big inside with lots of seats. The menu has plenty of options too. I really like their breaded chicken—it kinda tastes like what I had when I was a kid. This time I dined in and ordered the burrito and beef face, pretty good overall.

Google
Great place to enjoy authentic Mexican food. Steak is always super juicy and has amazing flavor. Chips and Salsa are great, as expected. Service is cool and prices are very reasonable. Place is very clean.

The food is authentic and fresh. The prices are good and the portions are good size.

Google
I love it! Burrito King has authentic and delicious Mexican food. The portions are really good and the service is great! I rate it 5/5 Mole - The Mole sauce is so good! The chicken is moist and fresh. They add potatoe the dish. I love this because it reminds me if my grandmother and how she used to make it. Birria - The beef birria is so fresh. The flavors are authentic. I ordered extra birria broth to dip my tacos in. Rice - The rice is soft and has small bits of carrots and peas for flavor. Guacamole - 🥑 Is fresh Beans- The refries beans are fully blended. Mar y Tierra- The shrimp was well seasoned and the meat was soft. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was worth the drive!

Google
Such a nice restaurant very abstract environment but also cozy. Such a wide variety of foods but I love the tacos, the guacamole and the tres leches. So yummy plus their chips and salsa go so well together

Google
We’ve been eating here for over 10 yrs. They had to close for almost a year due to a fire in the kitchen but have since reopened and food is just as good as it was before. Their Al pastor is just amazing and Mexican style tacos are phenomenal.

Google
Excellent low-key Mexican place with an interesting menu and great service. The torta ahogada has great flavor and a lovely spicy sauce. The lunch specials are also quite good. Food is served pretty quickly, so this can be a pretty quick stop if it isn't too busy. Inside decor is colorful and fun, there's usually a Spanish sporting event to watch.

Yelp
I came here after first trying their food at Taco Fest. The food is so yummy and is the most authentic I've found in the area so far! I love my gorditas, they have amazing beans, and the people are amazing! Would recommend! (They even remembered me from Taco Fest, which made me love the staff even more than I already do!)

Yelp
Hidden gem! One of the best tasting shredded chicken enchiladas I had in a long time. Not too salty but flavorful and savory. The chips and salsa were great too!

Yelp
I could make this a very short review by writing "This is the best burrito I have ever had in my entire life." But then I wouldn't be able to mention how friendly the service was, how tasty the salsas were, and everything else that I loved about this place. My first visit here, and everything about this experience was perfect. My sever was very friendly, and she brought out a basket of warm, fresh chips and two kinds of salsa as soon as I sat down. Both of the salsas were fresh and delicious. One was mild and the other had some heat. I ordered the vegetarian burrito "wet" and it was HUGE. Not just big enough to share for two people but honestly it would have fed a family of four. The cheese that topped my burrito was warm and melty, and the burrito was stuffed full of veggies, cheese and beans. The sides of rice and beans were very flavorful. I took 3/4 of this meal home in a box, will be great to take to work for lunch tomorrow. The menu is extensive and they serve breakfast anytime. Looking forward to returning the next time I am in the area to try more menu items.

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times, and honestly, it's among my favorite Mexican food I've had! Unfortunately, inconsistent, often subpar service keeps it from getting 5 stars, especially if you come in a group. During my last visit, our orders and bills were all mixed up when I went with friends (7 of us total). Service in general leaves much to be desired in terms of accuracy (they are definitely friendly there and are happy to provide recommendations). Their complimentary tortilla chips are fresh and warm, coming with two different salsas: mild and hot. I thought the mild had more complexity in flavor. The horchata drink we got was cool and refreshing with a delicious cinnamon flavor. I order my tacos American style (lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream) here since I'm in the chunk of the population for which cilantro tastes like soap. - Cabesa (beef head): my least favorite. Had a very intense beef flavor that was too strong, and also chewy from all the cartilage - Birria (marinated beef and goat): the server recommended fried (whole taco is fried in the meat juices) and it was hands down the best I've had here (even though there were cilantro and onions - I picked those off). The meat was so tender, juicy, and flavorful - Lomo (marinated pork): very juicy and fall-apart tender, like carnitas but they use pork loin instead of shoulder so it's not nearly as fatty. - Tinga de pollo (shredded chicken with vegetables): the chicken breast was not at all dry - it was seasoned well. - Lengua (steamed beef tongue): not chewy and rubbery like you would think. It was tender and flavorful. We did have an issue here of them adding additional charges that were not listed on the menu or verbally conveyed to us at the time of ordering. While the menu says lengua tacos cost an additional 50 cents for a la carte tacos, they charged my brother an additional $2 or $2.50, which he wouldn't have ordered if he knew that. Additionally, there was a charge to fry my birria taco (which they didn't charge the first time, and nowhere on the menu does it mention an additional charge). People need to be able to rely on menu pricing when they order, or at least be told about any changes at the time of ordering. That aside, the food is excellent and I would just recommend you make sure everything is right with your order, especially if you come in a larger group.

Yelp
Food was terrible. I don't remember what kind of burrito I had but I do remember it was the worst ever. I also got a terrible chocolate shake.

Farren E.

Yelp
My husband went here instead of my suggested place El Mariachi in Novi. He doesn't like the service there so he wanted us to try this place out. He picked us up birria taco take out and when i bit into it it was mushy and horrible so i opened it up to see what the meat looked like and it was all fat no meat ugh I'm so mad. I never had a bad experience at my suggested restaurant but he knew when he saw my face after eating that taco that it was horrible. Worse birria taco i ever had and I'm calling and complaining tomorrow. I need my money back asap

Yelp
I loved dining at this place. The Mexican music reminded me of my grandparents who used to listen to this music all the time and the Mexican program that was also on the tv brought a smile to my face. The staff was super friendly. The food was delicious and super filling I ordered the toastada dinner (just like grandma used to make) and I also ordered 1 flauta. Everything was sooo good and freshly made. Service was super fast and the portions were very filling the tostadas would have been enough but I love flautas so I had to try them too. I wanted to try everything on the menu. I was sooooo full when I left.

Yelp
During the pandemic, Yelp has been my go-to to discover eateries beyond my neighborhood. While Burrito King is in Novi, it is outside where I typically drive so I would have missed this Mexican restaurant without fellow Yelpers sharing their dining tips. It was doing a brisk take-out business early in the evening; the restaurant was also open for dine-in. I was in the mood for enchiladas and impressed with the choices available: shredded chicken, beef, and cheese in a number of sauces: rancheros, tomatillo, roja, and mole. I selected the tasty beef enchiladas, topped with tomatillo sauce and cheese. They were served with refried beans and rice. I was intrigued by the 7 Mares soup, a spicy tomato-based broth with clams, crabs, shrimp, scallops, and a variety of veggies. I decided to try it, despite the high price, and I am so glad I did not miss out. The savory soup was so large that it came in two take-out containers. It is one of the many soups offered here - I need to return to try some of the others. I must also return to sample their parrilla, whole fried tilapia, and tortas. The menu here is large and impressive. The tres leches cake was light and covered in a luxurious amount of light whipped cream. I liked it so much that I ate the entire piece in one sitting. The owner taking the order was friendly and hard-working. I appreciate how efficiently he worked.

Yelp
Have been going to burrito king for YEARS! it is one of my favorite taco places in this area. That being said I got the flauta for a change and it was so crispy and delicious!! Highly recommend! I also got the birria taco but it was just alright. It kind of felt a little soggy? Al pastor is solid as always!! My new favorite might be the flauta though!!

Max B.

Yelp
My personal favorite restaurant. The food here is just amazing, and priced very reasonably! If I had one complaint it would be that I've had multiple experiences with waitstaff where the language barrier was definitely an issue, but they are always very friendly and patient so it's never been an big issue for me. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for cheap, tasty food!

Yelp
First rate Mexican food, here! I had their food at a wedding reception a few years ago, and it was phenomenal, so we were excited to try it at the source today. I'm not a nachos person, really, but theirs were fantastic. You can get them with your choice of any of the 12 or so meat options. We chose pastor (pork), and it had a perfect bit of char on it, like when it's sliced off the big spit at an outdoor fair. The nachos had sliced pickled jalapeños, carrot, & onion, and were loaded with a lot of great fixings that all together were magnificent, and the cheese was white and fresh tasting. Maybe it was queso fresco? We also really liked the mild salsa, which was super fresh. The pastor was so good I ordered tacos al pastor for my entree, too, and they were spot on delicious! The corn tortillas were cooked perfectly (a bit toasty), too. I'm not really a rice/beans person, but these were typical. Next time I might just get tacos. The menu is extensive. They were serving menudo on a Sunday, and it looked good. Others dining with us got a shrimp dish and a big burrito, and both got raves. Kid's meal enchilada looked delicious. It came with fries, and my daughter was loving them hard. They were super crisp and really good when I tried one. The menu has a lot of options, including a yummy assortment of aquas frescos and bottled Mexican choices. The pineapple was good! I want to try the chilli relleno and the Mexican shrimp cocktail, of which I am a huge fan, when we go back, because we certainly WILL be back. Decor has a lot of fun flavor with banners & murals. Our service was excellent... We got plenty of refills and plates taken away, and every server was super nice when we arrived. Great atmosphere! Spanish is spoken here, but so is English. Looks like a solid takeout choice, as well.

Yelp
They started off strong with some excellent chips and salsa. They have hot & mild salsa. The salsas were fresh, seasoned perfectly, and addictive. We tried an al a cart birria taco, and I wish I would have gotten 3 of those. I came here for the 7 mares soup. In hindsight it was a poor choice. From their menu, they feature some really unique and delicious looking soup. Unfortunately, the version I had was 2/5 if you were to judge based upon the soup alone. The seafood was overcooked. The shrimp barely held together and turned to mush. The fish was rubbery.
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
It's in a shopping center, looks small, but the dining room is to the right of the entrance. Their mild salsa is thick and chunky, not bad, better mixed with the spicy. The spicier salsa tastes quite different. We started off with an order of guacamole, 1 tostada with tinga de pollo, 2 chicken flautas, 1 chicken enchilada with roja salsa and 3 chicken tacos on soft corn. The guacamole is fresh, not super flavorful, but creamy and decent. The flautas are protein packed and quite crunchy, pretty good stuff. The tacos were yummy. The pollo meat are like pellets of meat. The chicken tostada was okay, was too soggy to pick up and eat it. I gutted it off the wilted and soggy corn tostada. Tasted decent. The chicken enchilada with roja sauce was tasty, lots of meat in the roll. The chicken is flavorful and not dry at all. We were given more salsas during our meal, but no more chips.

Yelp
Burrito King is one of my fav restaurant! I love their delicious flavorful spread & generous portions! We also got free chips and salsa for appetizers. Mexican steak Cielo Mar y Tierra - grilled steak, shrimp & chicken Dinner combo - asada enchiladas, burrito, taco & tostada Trio fajitas

Matthew T.

Yelp
Reopened at long last, and the food is as good as ever! While burritos are in their name, the authentic tacos are my favorite. They have a wide choice of meats, plus some grilled veggie (cactus!) options. The tacos al pastor were particularly good; somehow crispy and moist at the same time. Refried beans could have been a little hotter, but tasted great. Chips are lightly salted and very fresh. Salsa is really the best I've had at a sit-down Mexican restaurant.

Hiram K.

Yelp
Most amazing whole beans around. Their food is well seasoned, fast and hot. I like authentic Mexican food and that they are very good.

Yelp
Pro: A real Mexican restaurant in Novi. They open late everyday. Good service. They have almost everything. Service is fast except for lunch. Lunch has a waiting line usually. Con: nothing yet.

Marva H.

Yelp
This place has really authentic Mexican food! I had been craving a burrito for a long time and was in dire need of one, and this place came up when I searched on Yelp (not surprising given the name of the restaurant) and decided to give it a try. Parking: this restaurant is located in a shopping center which has a lot of parking so parking shouldn't be an issue. Staff: staff was about their business, were helpful, and accommodating. Food: I'm from Cali and there are so many great Mexican restaurants to choose from there, and this place was definitely comparable to the places back home. I got the vegetarian burrito (because it had all the veggies I wanted) and added chicken to it, which was super yummy. The veggies were sautéed perfectly and the chicken was flavored really well. This burrito was also really big, which is always a plus and this dish came with a side of beans and rice as well. Also, you may have to ask for a side of salsa as I'm not sure they provide it otherwise. The restaurant itself was busy on a Thursday evening which was so nice to see! 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
My buddy who told me about Jeff's Kitchen also told me about Burrito King. I think this is the best Mexican food in the western suburbs. Had it a few times earlier but decided to review it after the Birria tacos tonight. I ordered the the Birria for dinner - typically Birria means goat but I suspect this is a beef goat combo. It comes with the consommé (au jus if you need more French terms for thin gravy) for the tacos. This stuff is glorious. The refried beans are saltier than I would expect, but the rice is fantastic with tomatoes and onion. The piece de resistance are the tacos - you get three for the dinner order. Outstanding!
google avatar

Cierra W.

Yelp
Birria tacos are very cheesy and delicious with sauce. Seafood soup well seasoned and flavorful with fresh seafood and vegetables.
google avatar

Jody K.

Yelp
I went back to Burrito King today, and coincidentally, I ordered the same thing. But this time, I had the chorizo. (The menu now specifies that you can only have one type of meat.) The chips and salsa were still too good. And I really enjoyed all three items on the combo plate. Beans and rice were good as well. I did remember that I didn't like the iced tea last time, so I just had water. I was disappointed to see that the booths were still in bad condition, but happy that they'd made the effort to put separators on the tops to make it a bit more pandemic-safe. I'm definitely glad that I made the drive out -- and the meal kept me satisfied so that all I wanted for dinner was a bowl of cereal!

Yelp
As a transplant to Detroit from Los Angeles, I am always on the hunt for authentic Mexican food and this place is legit. As soon as I walked in I was transported to Southern California... the smells, the friendly staff, the chips and salsa, the Mexican coke, orange soda, horchata, etc. They have everything you would expect on a taqueria menu too, including tacos, tortas and burritos. I went with carne asada, rice, beans, cheese, sourcream, guacamole and lettuce... it did not disappoint. Every ingredient was fresh, well seasoned and their spicy salsa brought it all together. Muy bueno!
google avatar

Ree R.

Yelp
Picked this place over chipotle and have no regrets! Salsa was deliciously fresh. Steak was seasoned to perfection and enough for two burritos, imo! Added bonus, price and speed are on par with fast food!
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
I remember they were training a new guy and he tore my burrito, and he was like "I am so sorry" I said "aw man dont worry about it, just do it 10,000 times and youll get it down perfectly
google avatar

Amethyst W.

Yelp
This is located in the plaza, with convenient parking. They have a very extensive menu with lots of choose from. I tried the chicken and beef enchiladas, it was actually very very tasty. I really like the combinations that they had to offer, and so did the rest of my group. They cook the food pretty quickly, and patch it up very well and organized for our to go. I'm not a fan of different pricing for a cash versus credit card, especially since I didn't bring cash for my first time there. Next time I know to bring cash in order to get the discount
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
Good aguas, giant menu, very tasty chips and salsa. We can't make it down to Detroit often for Mexican food and we're so happy this is an awesome choice right in Novi. Service was really friendly and fast. Portions were gigantic. Can't recommend this place enough!

Carson B.

Yelp
Went in around noon on a Thursday for a pickup order of the lunch combination. Service for pickup was nothing but good, asked if I wanted spicy or mild salsa (said both because duh). And sent me on my way! It was around ~$11 after tax and it was a good amount of food! A small serving of rice and beans, a taco, a small enchilada, and a small burrito. Would highly suggest as a weekday lunch grab!
google avatar

Eddie A.

Yelp
Not many Mexican restaurants offer Birria tacos but this place does and it is amazing! We usually stick to the birria, picadillo, and the lengua. Those are the most consistently good foods we have found here. If you order a dinner plate, get the charro beans instead of the refried. It will take your dinner to a whole new level.
google avatar

Yelp
Legit authentic Mexican food in Novi, Michigan. I used to have a rule. Can't go wrong if the name of the Mexican place ends with an O it should be good to go. Roberto's, Jilberto's, Saguaro's. Was going to pass up on Burrito King on name alone but someone insisted on me trying this place. Glad I went. We arrived after the lunch rush. We sat ourselves near the back. Ordering was a breeze. Meal: 4 Tacos on large corn tortillas. Most go for carne asada or al pastor tacos. Cabeza and Tripas are my favorite. 2- Tacos de Cabeza (Beef Head/cheek meat) These tacos were tender and juicy. Just added a lil salsa and pico de gallo for my liking. 2- Tacos de tripas (Tripe) Cleaned out well. Pan fried and cooked right. Really tasty. Dessert Tres Leches Cake(three kinda of milk)- My favorite Mexican dessert. Rich and Moist(hate using this word but it is justified). Love that they give extra whip cream. Service was great. Our waitress was friendly and always checked up on us from time to time. If in the area give Burrito King a try. I look forward to more tacos!!

Yelp
My biggest complaint: They charge an extra 4% for using credit/debit card instead of cash, and this information isn't posted or provided by staff. Ironically, I only learned about this charge because they print it on the receipt... which you receive AFTER the payment has gone through. This is underhanded, and since every card processor I'm aware of only takes a maximum of 2.5% as a processing fee, it certainly looks like this place is using it to make an extra profit instead of simply raising their menu prices. That's dishonest and sneaky, and I do not appreciate it. The food was 'fine', or one small step below it. We got two burritos, both of which were wrapped so loosely that they fell open when we picked them up. After shoveling the filling back into the tortillas with our hands and re-wrapping them tighter, it wound up not making a difference because both were so wet (sauce, juice, grease-- I'm not sure) that the tortillas soaked through and fell apart about halfway through anyway. They tasted fine, but nothing else about the experience would make me want to go back, especially with their prices higher than most strip-mall carryout spots (local Mexican/Central American businesses, not chains).
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
I have yet to be let down with their menu and service. Always speedy and extremely friendly. My go to drink is the Vampiro- it's freshly juiced. I typically get lengua, chorizo, and asada small corn tortilla tacos but that's not because i haven't tried anything else. Oh I have. Their burritos are beyond filling, split it with someone.
google avatar

Jeff D.

Yelp
Don't let the average appearance of Burrito King fool you, a great restaurant lies inside! There's a nice diverse selection of Mexican food that's definitely more authentic than I expected to find in Novi. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to big groups. As expected, Burrito King offers free chips and salsa with your order, and the both the chips and salsa are solid. The food arrives fairly quickly, and tastes great! Keto/ Low Carb Folks: There are plenty of options for you to try at Burrito King. I ordered the Trio Fajitas, and though it turned out to be a ton of meat, it was great value for the price! (Don't be surprised if they give you tortillas even if you say you don't want tortillas) Overall, a great restaurant at this price point, definitely stop by if you need a change of pace from the usual Novi fare!

Yelp
So gross omg. It tasted like dirty watered down slosh. The shrimp tacos were not shrimp just like a seafood mush?? The steak ones were OKAY but not even close to delicious. I will not be returning.
google avatar

William T.

Yelp
Wow! This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, guac, chips and salsa were all on point. I'll be back many times!
google avatar

Alyssa G.

Yelp
Bf and I came here for lunch, they have great lunch specials! The food is good, and the salsas they bring out for chips and salsa is delicious! I would get that alone. You get a lot of food for 8 bucks. I got the chicken, and it was fine. There's a lot of food options on the menu, so that's awesome too! Staff is super friendly. Docked some stars because we found a hair in the salsa
google avatar

Aleana W.

Yelp
You haven't been here yet?? I feel sad for you. Get here now! Do you really need my review?? Ok. Chips come to table hot. The mild salsa is EXCELLENT! Both are endless. The burrito special is what you need to get. It massive. Hope you haven't eaten all day. It's the BOMB! The steak and grilled chicken are perfect but the carnitas it where it's at!! They fresh grate the cheese. Make everything fresh. Oh man their salsa-I love their salsa. Portion are huge here! Prices are great. Employee are friendly. The place is always busy. It's probably a good thing I don't live closer because I might need a Burrito King intervention if I did. Get here! And get some awesome fresh Mexican.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food, everything taste very authentic. I try the tripa tacos absolutely delicious also the carne en su jugo don't miss this place. Also very nice and clean, the service was very friendly .

Yelp
Great food. Great prices. Great service. Great environment. Go-to spot for our family whenever we want Mexican.
google avatar

Yelp
Find another restaurant. Meals here cost 28-33% more than priced on menu. No warning when phone ordering carryout. Additional $1.00 charge for using a debit card. Restaurant unclean. No covid19 precautions observable. Food is inedible. No way we'll be back.
google avatar

Jake W.

Yelp
Hit and miss here First time I raved at work about it and was in love with it. Second time was complete opposite. I was embarrassed I suggested it.
google avatar

Vickie R.

Yelp
So I finally got to eat a sit down meal there and I was just as impressed as the other time when I got to eat their catered food. I would say their horchata is comparable (but not better) than another nearby (also very authentic) Mexican restaurant. My lunch special pastor burrito was delicious. It was definitely the best first meal there. There are plenty of other items I'm looking forward to trying. The service was great and the portion was big for a lunch size. The one thing that's better about Burrito King than the other place is the seating. There are plenty more tables than the other place. While it isn't the biggest deal in the world, it can make or break a lunch choice when you only have a small window of time to eat. You would not want to have to wait for seats if it can be avoided.

Yelp
amazing food and friendly staff! loved the authentic vibe in the restaurant, will definitely be back!

It doesn't look like much from outside, but my husband and I loved coming in for a delicious and inexpensive lunch. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Absolutely incredible food. We order from here about once a week for work and it never disappoints.

Yelp
Excellent hole-in-the-wall with lots of authentic dishes you can't find in most Mexican restaurants outside of Mexicantown. Ceviche, octopus, cactus, cabeza, etc. They have a printed menu but also many specials on hand drawn signs displayed on the walls. Fresh food and nice staff, there is only seating for 15. I tried the ceviche and super nachos and both were great. Nachos with meat is normally $7.99, but my order without meat was only $5.99!

Yelp
Been here a handful of times since I first reviewed Burrito King and I learned a couple things - I still love it and the food is still delicious! They've expanded into the space next door since my last review. It's not a dump or hole in the wall like another reviewer put it - and it wasn't before the expansion either. The original seating layout is still there, but it seems like most people opt to sit on the side that's filled with large booths. Aside from the "remodel," nothing has really changed with Burrito King. Every trip still starts of with the assortment of salsas and pico - seriously try the Avocado (Green) Salsa, I could drink that stuff!!! They still serve Horchata. I also found out that they offer a Pineapple Water? Never heard of it until my most recent trip. I had already ordered Horchata, but I was definitely intrigued so I'll give it a try on our next visit. The beans and rice are still great. Those beans...they're magical - and I don't mean by way of flatulence! So Friday morning, my husband & I woke up and were both starving. Neither of us really felt like going out in the cold, so I offered to make breakfast. He reasoned getting dressed, and going out would be quicker than me making breakfast so that's what we decided. Then we just had to figure out where. Well on a Friday during Lent, breakfast is somewhat limited since we can't eat meat. I could eat Mexican food every single day, so that was my suggestion. We were having a tough time finding a local Mexican restaurant that was open at 9:30AM and serving breakfast. The only thing I could think of was going to Detroit. I can't remember which of us thought of Burrito King (I'm going to say it was my husband), but we discovered via Yelp they're open at 900AM. We decided to go for it! Ok, so once we were seated we were handed their regular lunch/dinner menus. I wasn't able to find a breakfast menu, but my husband said he seen the mention of "breakfast" somewhere on their Yelp biz page. When the waitress came back, I asked her if the had a breakfast menu. She said, "Yes, but it's Mexican." I'm not really sure what that meant, but I told her ok. She brought it to me and I was celebrating inside. Chilaquiles!!! A meatless, Mexican breakfast option. Hooray!!! I really wanted to order Chorizo con Huevos. Chorizo is also magical. Anyways - I ordered the Chilaquiles with Ranchero sauce. It was egg, corn tortilla, Ranchero sauce, and cheesy goodness on my plate! It was a pretty generous portion as well. I wasn't able to finish my plate. Close - but not exactly. So if you want local delicious Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner - Burrito King has got you covered!

Yelp
Best authentic Mexican food in Wixom, hands down. Always grab a Jarritos and dulce de leche with my order :)

Yelp
No face masks worn by ANY of the staff. One of the staff's child was there and probably exposed to COVID-19, my order was wrong even though I asked specifically for no sour cream and no tomatoes due to my medical condition. Also, I have braces so I asked for no lettuce and they charged me for pico, which has never been the case. If I don't die from the potential disease I was exposed to, I will never go here again. Literally every part of my order was wrong including the fact that I asked for beans in my burrito and I got nothing. I'd ask for a refund, but I'd be rolling the dice again just going on there. Don't recommend and definitely advise to avoid.
