Nice little cafe, locally owned and staffed. Great coffee, delicious donuts and really good food. We had the cappuccino, cortado, whipple breakfast sandwich and tuna melt. Everything was tasty and fresh. Will definitely go back when we visit Brooklyn again.

Another solid coffee spot not far from the train. I tried the strawberry matcha since I hadn't seen that anywhere else before and it was good but a little sweet for my taste. The breakfast sandwich was good but the real winner here was the turkey sandwich on ciabatta with cranberry jam. This place is worth a try.

I love this place for their coffee. Their mochas in particular are really good. I unfortunately have to give it a 3 star review. They open at 7:00, but over the past two weeks, I’ve tried to go on 7 different days in the morning to be told that they aren’t open yet, either because their workers aren’t coming in on time, or because they have large orders. I’ve lost a good amount of my personal time trying to frequent this shop, and will have to stop until their hours become consistent so that I know I’m not wasting my time walking to the store

Dined in while in the area for coffee and a breakfast burrito. Was welcoming and cozy inside. Got a glass of sparking with my coffee which was a thoughtful touch. The service is excellent. Person behind the counter was super sweet and helpful. Grabbed a pistachio donut on the way out and it was amazing!

Went here in the beginning of January and I loved it. The workers were so friendly and were very helpful with all the questions we had. We decided to sit in and drink, and it made a lasting impression- I saw how much love and community that was in this place as different people came in and out of the cafe. One of the ladies gave us another drink to try and apologized for being so busy and not being able to talk. She didn’t know it was my birthday but it was like a wonderful present. I’m back in California but whenever I come back to the city I will make the effort to visit here again :)

I always debate on spending money on coffee… but god is it worth it from this place. Always fast, always friendly, and MAN is the coffee good! Ex-barista so I’m picky with my coffee, and they nail it every single time. Food offerings are also so delicious, healthy, and customizable. Highly recommend their iced lattes and bagels/burritos - pastries are fresh too! The owner is such a sweet lady as well, and the guy that is usually there in the mornings. Very happy that it’s a small business with reasonable prices, good place to support for a good value! I hope it never changes!

Bushwick Grind Cafe is a hidden gem of a coffee shop that offers not only the best coffee in town but also a delightful selection of homemade foods. I ordered the tomato basil soup and ice green passion tea and it is simply amazing.The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff makes every visit a pleasure.

Bushwick grind is a cozy brunch gem in my neighborhood. I was looking for a quick lunch bite on Saturday and I've always wanted to give this place a try and I'm very glad I did. I ordered a classic grilled cheese with an iced hazelnut latte. This grilled cheese had house-made vegan apple preserve which made this grilled cheese very unique! It was a perfect combination of sweet and savory. I also did not expect the latte to be one of the best latte I had. Would definitely order again! I also want to mention their customer service, it was 10 out of 10. Extremely kind workers! They even went heavy on my grilled cheese because they wanted to give out all the bread they have before closing (they make new bread everyday). I would definitely come back to try other menu!

We decided to give this cafe a try because we got really hungry after my acupuncture appointment and this was the highest-rated place nearby. I'm SO glad we did! We ordered the Werk'Jerk chicken sandwich, the French toast platter, and a coffee smoothie. Every single item was five-star quality, perfectly cooked and made with great ingredients. I really like the vibe here too -- the folks working here are so nice and seem to already be good friends with almost everyone who walked in. What a lovely neighborhood gem! Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu.

So I found myself back here again on a lazy Saturday afternoon looking for brunch and ambiance and what a groovy ambiance it was! This time I decided to veer away from my normal pattern and ordered a substitute salad to go along with my breakfast burrito. It did not disappoint. How one manages to add seasoning to a salad, and still pack it with wholesome goodness- I don't know but the cook managed this flawlessly. The salad contained small pieces of mozzarella with craisins and red onions. My sea moss smoothie tasted healthy though I would have liked more sweetener. Despite this the drink was refreshing overall. The service was friendly and polite. This place may just become my go to neighborhood brunch spot. Stranger things have happened.....

I love Bushwick Grind! I usually pop in to get some work done, and every drink I've gotten has been awesome. The workers are all SUPER nice, and I believe I've also met the owner before! I usually get a dirty chai, and the concentrate they use for the chai is made by a small woman-owned business in NYC, none of that Tazo crap (sorry lmao but Tazo chai concentrate has a time and place and that's usually when I go to Starbucks) It's perfectly balanced, spicy and warm and sweet with a bit of bitterness from the espresso! Love it. I'll contuswinging by to get my dirty chai and some of their sandwiches :))

Cute little neighborhood cafe. I got the vegan breakfast burrito with house fries and the winter blue smoothie (blueberries, elderberries, pineapple, ginger, honey, and oat milk - comes out a nice blueish color). The burrito comes with this verde sauce which was a nice touch. The house fries were pretty substantial chunks though a bit mushy. Overall a cute place to get some breakfast, though may be a bit on the pricier side.

very delicious and this was exactly what I was craving. I requested my eggs to be fried and cooked all the way. Very delicious!! It comes with two pieces of toast but I was so full after one so I'm taking the other to go. Chill relaxing ambience with Jazz music. Great place to meet up with someone or work Great service, you can request alternatives, and my chai tea latte came out rapidly. Very friendly environment.

Workers tend to be very nice and the owners are honest. Coffee is always consistently good. I don't get food as much so I can't speak as much to that aspect. The owners are also nice and honest people. I've rarely had a problem with the service

Stopped in to pick up treats via too good to go. When I arrived there was a strong smell of insence (it's not a problem per say but it makes me nauseous); the vibe was very chill and the staff were really friendly. I got a few vegan croissants- plain and chocolate pulled right from the case so they were fresh. They have seating in the back and some stools in the front but I opted to take it to go. I decided to make a sandwich with my plain croissant and have the chocolate later for dessert. They were pleasantly flaky and a good size - not too big and not too small. There was a faint taste of the insence they were burning which I probably wouldn't have noticed if the smell didn't make me queasy. It was much more noticeable in the plain than in the chocolate. The chocolate croissant was bomb! Delicious! I want to come back to try the French toast!

Great customer service, great recommendations from staff. Nice environment, best prices I've seen in a while for quality food. Very true to Brooklyn and NYC. Very inclusive and for everyone. Beautiful art and artifacts. Food was amazing! Matcha was delicious 10/10 for sure.

Don't judge this little spot solely by its appearance. They have really awesome coffee, perfect for any time of the day. I got an iced oat latte and it was made perfectly. The espresso they use is really good! Fun fact: they have a printer if you ever need to print something and don't have one at home!

The perfect brunch spot whether you're on the go or have some time to sit. I love their entire menu. It tastes as delicious as it sounds. From their sandwiches to their smoothies, it was a great meal. I love bringing people to this place too to share in vibe of the local spot. Definitely recommend supporting local! Bushwick Grind has delicious wraps! This was my second time ordering the Whipple Wrap with avocado. I am so glad I found this place through Yelp. It will now be one of my favorite lunch spots to order from while at work. Can't wait to try their other menu items. Delivery has always been fast. There is a $3 delivery fee.

Great food with plenty to choose from, i had the French toast with eggs and Turkey bacon. Service was Excellent, quick and friendly. You won't be disappointed, plenty of seating inside and out, a nice cozy place to eat, or have a great coffee.

Bushwick Grind is PHENOMENAL!!! everyone there is extremely kind and welcoming. the staff went above and beyond to answer questions, fresh make baked goods, and offered to move around seating. the food is delicious!! i had the vegan breakfast burrito and my first croissant since going vegan years ago! the rocket fuel coffee is absolutely delicious. they also have a community fridge outside! love love LOVE everything about this business.

First time here and I must say. Glad I stumbled in. A friend of mine was visiting from Tampa and we decided to have breakfast at a local spot in my hood. Place was cozy and tiny. Not too much seating space. Coffee was ok. The water with lime and lemon was delicious. Next time I'll just get that instead. The breakfast... amazing. I had the western omelette with turkey & home fries. Very tasty. My girlfriend had the French toast which she said was very light and very good. We were both pleased with the food. And the service was good as well. Girl at the front counter was pleasant. Would definitely come back for some more goodness.

Lovely cafe. From the time my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted warmly by the owners and they young lady who was working that day. They gaveaa us suggestions of what to try and everything tasted fresh and was tasty. The roobis tea and the iced chai latte, but good. The cafe seats less than 20 but didn't feel over crowded as we sat there and ate. Many customers seemed liked it was there first time but what was heart-warming was seeing all the customers that they knew by name. I definitely recommend and would return again to try more from their menu.

A small almost hidden gem worth seeking out. Very friendly and helpful staff and an overall chill vibe. Ordered a few of their pastries a muffin, a croissant, and slice of pie. All were delicious and not overly sweet. Next time plan to try some of their more savory offerings.

Delicious food, but the magic is taken away when you have to wait an hour for your order.... They should either hire an additional person or optimize food preparation times. Service sucked ... Sorry guys... when you are hungry and go to a place, you want food ASAP. I saw 2 food delivery app guys come to pick up order leaving with empty hands coz the orders took too much time.... Will never come back...

How does this place have 5 stars? Maybe its better in person but My partner and I ordered breakfast burritos from here with gluten-free oatmeal from UberEats. The breakfast burritos were so bad. The bacon wasn't even bacon. It may have been turkey bacon or ham but that wasn't specified online. And whatever it was did not taste cooked. It literally tasted like raw turkey bacon. And then the whole meal was unseasoned. The potatoes had potential bc of the texture, but not seasoned well to make a difference. My partner also had the gluten-free oatmeal and he complained that it was the worst he's ever had and tasted very processed, but worse than Quakers. He quickly ran to the bathroom afterwards bc the food messed his stomach up. And on top of all of that, the food arrived over two hours late. 1 star because they listened to allergy instructions. Maybe the drinks are better but Sadly I won't ever be ordering from here again to try them.

Pretty solid coffee place with affordable food. I ordered the cold brew and special quiche of the day which was gruyere and spinach. The cold brew tasted a little watered down, I wish it had more flavor. There seems to be ample seating at the cafe and the staff are the nicest ever. Would definitely comeback.

Dropped in here for a quick lunch when I was in the area for work one Friday. I got a chai latte and the cranberry goat cheese salad, which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It was sooo delicious I wanted to scrape off all of the cheese but only resisted because I was watching my diet. It was arguably one of the best salads I've ever had. Healthy and delicious, mm-hmmm. Affordable prices, cute interior with bars to sit at by the wall in the back as well as a couple of small tables. Friendly staff who greeted me with a smile and brought out my salad even though they could've just had me pick it up at the counter. A local gem in the area, definitely.

After a long redeye flight and what felt like an even longer taxi ride from the airport, I needed breakfast. I saw Bushwick Grind had great reviews so ordered the French toast platter for breakfast (and an oatmeal with baked apples--cuz hunger). (Also justified the ridiculous $4.50 delivery fee because, hunger.) Thankfully I ordered the oatmeal because the French toast platter was inedible. The scrambled eggs and turkey bacon were so salty I had to stop eating it. The French toast was so undercooked I stopped eating it for fear of getting sick. Thankfully I savaged some of the edges which were less undercooked. More thankfully, they didn't mess up the oatmeal (I mean honestly if you mess up oatmeal there is no hope). Only gets two stars because of the quick delivery. Will definitely not order from here again!! No idea how this place has nearly all five star reviews so hoping my order was a major blip...an expensive blip, but blip nonetheless (hopefully).

Amazing customer service! Not sure if she was the owner or just the staff, but our barista was so incredibly friendly and courteous. Great selection of drinks and food. Definitely had my fix for the morning! Unfortunately was coming from out of town, but if I wasn't, would definitely become a regular!

This is a fun and friendly spot to have brunch with friends. They had a vast menu of delicious pastries. I had French toast platter made the right (French) way. Scrambled eggs and nice Turkey bacon. As a former server myself, I have to say that the service was excellent! The waiters and owner were so attentive with us, and the décor was so nice and clean as well. If you want to have a good time come and visit this place. I would highly recommend it!

This place is great fresh food. The panini bread is nice and soft and has flavors so it is not the typical panini bread. It's a little small inside but on a gorgeous day it has these really nice large benches to use. The coffee is nice and strong and I am glad I came and definitely recommend.

So lucky to have moved across the street recently. They have the absolute best breakfast in the world. I can't believe I can have an amazing meal for $8-10. They are consistent, kind and quick. I like to call in an order and run down to pick it up. The wraps are also delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! Eat it all! So good.

This place is a God send. The coffee is great, the pastries are great, but the food... the food is on a different level. You'd think every sandwich was their signature sandwich. The good, the vibe was amazing. This place is unique, provides healthy but amazingly tasty food. My favorite was the avocado toast, but to be honest, everything was amazing. I loved my powerhouse tea hot, another amazing addition to my already amazed taste buds. Go, get some yumminess and the enjoy the company of the amazing owner and her staff.

BUSHWICK GRIND Everything a customer can dream of. Great staff. Awsome music and beautiful vibes. The interior of bushwick grind gives a natural feel, the tables countertop and even some chairs are made of wood. There's a nice variety of food and drinks. I really enjoy the jerk chicken. I recommend the BK BBQ Chicken with cran-apple spritz. ahhh, everything has so much flavor! To grind I geuss you gotta have flavor.=) If you're one to grind, and looking for a little getaway, this is the place. Bushwick Grind hasn't been open for very long so come in and check it out. On Saturdays Bushwick Grind host entertainment for your summer afternoon. Such a great place. I love Bushwick Grind coffee and the various options of different non coffee drinks they have to offer. So happy that Bushwick Grind opened in this area! Bushwick Grind is located off of Broadway on Whipple St. across from the McDonald's. The owners, fellow Brooklynites, have taken great care in making this place feel part of the community. They and their staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. The space itself is located on the first floor of a recently rebuilt 3-story apartment building. The interior is dressed in a muted green, with wood and exposed brick. They expect to put a mural on the wall and to continue refining an already cozy place. The shop has stools as well as seating in the back. T-shirts, mugs, and free wifi are on wall shelves in the front. They also recently built benches on the sidewalk around the trees in front of their shop, so outdoor seating! Bushwick Grind serves fresh baked goods coming in every morning - the blueberry streusel muffin is definitely worth a bite, its delicious, with a nice sugary crunch on its muffin top (YUM! muffin top!). They serve counter culture coffee which you can have in all the varieties of espresso drinks (cappuccino, latte, etc), they have your regular cup of joe, and cold brew. Really hoping this place becomes a fixture in the community as the owners/staff are lovely, the coffee is great, and a coffee shop of this caliber is much-needed in this area.

Are you looking for a clean, friendly, plenty of outlets spot to eat and drink coffee? Do you want to listen to Rihanna and TLC to energize yourself as you do work? Vegan? You're good here. Vegetarian? You're also good here. Gluten free? You're in the clear. Come through mawmas. It's lit. My food was delicious and my iced tea was divine. It's a black owned business. Support the communities that were here before your gentrifier self displaced black and PoC communities. I had the time of my life here. I loved it so much that I even posted on Twitter about it lol.

They call it a Good Grilled Cheese. They're wrong. It's great! So are the French toast, the Monte Cristo, the strawberry hibiscus tea. Amazing! And the people -- from the barista to the owners -- beyond amazing! We felt like family from the instant we got there, but like family at granma's, where everyone wants to make sure you have the best time of your life. We stumbled on it by accident, then came back the next day for more. In short, good people, good food, great times. We'll be back!

Overall: A cute, nestled cafe that provides all the comforts of hunkering in a cafe - breakfast/lunch selection, coffee, and relative emptiness as well as a great price range. Definitely one of my prime hangout spots. Items Ordered: I've been here twice now and both times I've gotten a coffee order - drip coffee and a cortado. Nothing out of this world flavor wise but it's a solid cup. I've also had their avocado toast which was also freshly made and good. Again, not out of this world but pretty darn good. Service: The staff is so friendly and I enjoy talking to them! They let you have your space when you're working and are more than happy to prepare an order when you need it. Other Observations: I'm surprised this place isn't more packed. Twice I've been there during typical peak cafe hours and it's been relatively empty. For a cafe that offers the amenities it does, I would have thought it would be hard to get a seat. Instead, I had the pick of my seats both times. I'm almost kind of wishing I didn't post this review to keep this place a secret. I also noticed last I was there they were applying for a wine and beer license so even more good things to come!

This was my first time going there. As soon as I walked in, the staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions about the menu. I had the french toast plate and my friend had the fried egg/muffin sandwich. Both were beautifully plated and delicious! The staff noticed that my friend was eating slowly and thought she didn't like her meal and offered her something else (she's just a slow eater). I thought that was really sweet and thoughtful. Also, they are constantly wiping eating areas, which is awesome! There is WiFi and a table to work. I spent most of the day there, working. If you want a place to study/work with a friendly staff, I highly recommend it. Especially since that new Starbucks just opened. Support local businesses!

I love the Grind.... it is my absolute favorite neighborhood spot and I feel so lucky that I live so close. Also a good spot for studying/working. Coffee + oat milk is perfect and the food is tasty (we love the avocado toast, French toast, and the eggs Benedict). The owners and baristas are always friendly and provide attentive service. Wait also... the Roberta's almond croissant is a must

This place is soooo cute! The staff is very nice and the food is to die for. It feels very homely and cozy. The turnovers are amazing and the Eggs Benedict on the brunch menu is a must!
