Food was pretty good! I only wish they asked you what you want in your salad like other halal places instead of putting everything on there. The vegan chicken itself was good but there was a lot of moisture in the salad and the bottom was like a soup. Chicken over rice was PACKED full with rice, salad, chicken, hummus, and tzatziki.

Looooove your pita plates and sandwiches, your hummus is the best I’ve ever had, but your salads are disgusting, like please google a definition of a salad, cuz whatever you are are serving is not a salad its a bad cold soup

Tried to buy 3 vegan tacos yesterday. The person who works there couldn’t sell the food to me. She started playing around as if I’m doing something wrong but in reality she doesn’t knows how to operate the store. Going to this store for almost 9 years, all of the sudden she acts like something is wrong with me. She tried to charge me $15 for 3 tacos too, it would be $5 per taco. Please

Great place for some Middle Eastern style take out. I usually get the lamb kabob platter ($15), see photos. Recently service has improved and the store is cleaner.

I have visited this restaurant 4 times (under 4 different hosts) for simple take-out orders, like falafel or shawarma .. but in all 4 times (without exaggerations) and without exceptions, the experiences were nightmares .. starting from being surprised about the overpriced items at the checkout, going through waiting over 30 minutes for such simple orders (until you remind the host about them) .. to end up finally with just either a bad smelling chicken shawarma, or even an unwell-cooked falafel, in a sandwich that is overfilled with salad, until it becomes hard to even see what you have originally ordered in the sandwich. This is not even close to the code of conduct, in addition to imposing consumer risks, which includes hygienic related ones.

The vegan fajitas platter is the best out there. Cheap food, vegan and meat options and open late.

The lamb sandwich was disgusting I never in my life had a meat that tough and hard ended up in the garbage ! You should try your own food before sell it to the public! And the chicken sandwich was actually a salad sandwich with 3 piece of chicken not worth the price whatsoever

I found myself at Bushwick Pita Palace after getting out of a nearby concert. We were looking for something no frills and since this seemed to fit the bill, we may our way over. I'm a fan of Mediterranean and Mexican food, so I was looking forward to seeing what BPP had to offer. Walking in, you're greeted by a large production area to the right with some tables to the left. As we made our way towards the back, we were greeted by the menu and the ordering station. They have a large selection of typical Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Mexican dishes. I was in the mood for a burrito, and they had a lot of creative ones to choose from. I ultimately went with the Crazy Chicken Burrito which was filled with the aforementioned protein, salsa, pinto beans, cheese, pico de gallo, rice, and sour cream. The burrito was really good - it was huge, stuffed to the brim, and had great complementing flavors; it was really everything you want out of a burrito. Service was fast, and overall BPP was the perfect spot for some late night eats. Service was fast, food was good, and they have plenty of space to sit and enjoy. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Menu is good. Food is decent, as long as they don't overcook your kebab. I've had this place a handful of times in the last month. The lentil soup is amazing. A couple times the chicken was superb. But tonight, they majorly screwed up our chicken and beef kabob. It's so dry and overcooked we can barely cut through it Not to mention I've had to wait over 20 mins even to order one kebab plate every time.

Been waiting for my order more than 1 hour so far. The app said delivered 40 minutes ago. Called twice already: the first time to make sure they got the order because the app wasn't updating - the second time (20 minutes ago) they told me the deliverer was on his way. I live like 5 minutes away from the restaurant. Hopefully the food will be great, if I ever get it. But I'm losing hope and appetite unfortunately. (Just wanted to give it a try, but I guess next time I'll go back to the other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Affordable. Good portion sizes. Not life-altering. Would I eat it again? Hell yeah. The chicken was kind of burnt in my shawarma platter, and I wished I'd had the foresight to ask for hot sauce on the side, as they do not include it automatically, but in my late night hunger, I simply slathered it with sriracha and scarfed the thing down. The cucumbers were great.

Excellent late night food. Quickly made once ordered. Received a healthy portion of all the add ins for pitas, wraps and quesadillas comes with a good amount of fixing's as well. Only negative, they ran out of garlic sauce.

These folks have the BEST lamb schwarma in NYC, hands down. Their balance of tzatziki, fresh lettuce and red cabbage, fresh veggies and hummus is superb and their falafel is always fresh and never dry. Their fries are also supremely legit. They're super fast, they deliver and their food is made with quality and love. And they're open late. Just off the Melrose L stop. Thank you for filling my tummy and feeding my soul! Yes, again..., I'm addicted to [ Grub~Hub ] ordering....... I'm including the actual [ Grub~Hub ] menu list. This is the "Small Chilli" which is about 6oz. for only $4.75. The Chilli White Rice...., Diced Green & Red Pepper.., Black Beans, Onions, Garlic, Broiled Mushrooms ...,melted Monterrey Jack Cheese..., grounded Cayenne Pepper.., mixed with White Potatoes...,Ground Beef..., a Tomatoes. As you can see I ordered at 8:06pm..., and I got my food at 9:00pm. Pretty good, as I live 2 miles from this place. And I ordered the "Spicy Cheese Fries" which is a Small size by the menu of $4.75 ..........................................,however it visually looks like a medium in size. It's basically grounded black pepper sprinkled on melted American Cheese and Sweet Potato Fries I'd order again‼ Professional Contactless Delivery!

i used to order from here when i used to live in the area and it used to be good. I was in Brooklyn and decided to order from them because i used to really like their food. Whoever answers the phones needs to work on being friendlier. I was very disappointed. The food arrived cold, The cauliflower was so soggy, i really couldn't eat it. Gave me a horrible stomach ache after just a few bites. The chicken kebab platter was also cold and really didn't hit the spot. The chicken was really dry and almost tasted burnt. The rice had a nice flavor but also tasted dry and the whole dish was just lacking. I barely ate it and just stuck it in the fridge for my sister

Good for a drunk meal after a night out since they're open until 2AM. Got a bowl and it was great, but don't think I would come here unless i'm a few drinks in and craving some food. Price was okay, cashier service was average, but the person that prepared the food was actually very nice.

Ordered delivery Nothing special about this spot. Scrolling through their menu via Seamless seeing the usual Mediterranean dishes, then suddenly the entire second half of the menu switched over to Mexican dishes. I had red lentil soup (small) Extremely salty and oily. Tolerable if you have a gallon of water next to you. Chicken kabob platter decently portioned. Chicken cubes were dry. Served with a cold pita (wasn't warmed up I can tell) Not sure I'll consider coming back to try more...

Excellent build-your-own-pita bar. All the fillings are top-notch, great beets & pickles, tasty hummus. Every time I've ever been here, they have fried up the falafel fresh, on the spot. And the prices are great too.

Went into Bushwick Pita Palace and grabbed a menu from the counter, looked it over and decided to purchase the lamb gyro platter along with stuffed grape leaves.. my order was made fast. But when he rang me up the price didn't match what was on the menu. And when I ask I was told the menu's are "old" ,the new prices are on the top board. He proceeded to tell me the menu's on the counter are for ppl who can't see the board and then they ask the price. ) they should just invest in new menus... I paided about $8 more then what the price was on the "old" menu off the counter.. ,(besides them forgetting the pita bread) the food was good , and definitely fills you up.

TOO SPICY! The falafels burned my mouth so bad and ruined the entire meal for me. The falafel is what makes the plate and if they're bad I can't enjoy the rest of the sides, no matter how good (and they were pretty good). Oddly, the rice was the star; it has such a unique, almost sweet, blend of spices. The cauliflower was not worth the extra money spent on getting a third side. It's not that great. The beet and red cabbage salad that comes on the plate as well as the hummus are all tasty. You get a pita, which I always appreciate, but I wish I could have gotten whole wheat. I was also disappointed they didn't have babaghanoush when I went. How could they run out?! This place has so much potential... It's open late and there's plenty of seating. There are a ton of vegan options and they have a great variety of menu choices. The workers are nice and were helpful when I asked questions. Yet, with falafels that are spicier than any of the ones I've had in NYC, I simply can't trust anything else and will probably not return.

never written a bad review, but for the people with allergies: this spot also goes by "taco grill" on doordash/postmates. they say their wings are gluten free. i got them and on top of that added "gluten allergy" to the special request section. they sent me breaded wings. when i called, they said they didn't have the gluten free wings and sent me those instead. incredibly negligent if you ask me..

How rude! Are you kidding. I'll never go back. They forgot to make my order and after I waited for a long time I asked. The woman at the register then asked the guys to make it. They lazily threw it together. Then she tried to give me my order and walk away without ever giving me my drink. When I asked for it she was super rude. When I asked about my food she refused to answer me, just a blank stare, so I asked again. Still- a blank stare. What terrible customer service and also terrible food. I won't be back. Less than one star.

I love this place! I work close my and me and my co workers order almost every day . I lot of vegan and vegetarian options as well. Great food and they deliver in timely manner . Must try!

I have only gotten pickup orders, but they are super fast (much faster than app will estimate), very reasonably priced, and consistently great! My boyfriend and I split the cheese quesadilla with black beans and Mexican rice, and it's more than enough for the two of us and always delicious.

My order was 30 minutes late when it said it would have been ready earlier. They put it on the grill and I asked the manager if he could do something for me and he gave me an attitude for my time being wasted. The food has hair on it too

Listen, I love Mediterranean food and Mexican food. It legit gets no better than that! Mix that up with late closings (2AM/4AM) dirt cheap prices, and good ass food and I'm sold! I always pass this place going home and always wondered what it was about. The food is fresh. I had a red lentil soup (so good I drink it like juice (I'll grow up next year)) and falafel quesadilla. They're so nice they let me create that myself. And it was good! They're cheap with prices but not with portions. My food can always last two sessions. The quesadillas came with beans, salad, and rice. All for $7/$9 can't remember but I think it's $7. Simply put, you need messy food late night or even early morning come here so you don't have to break your pocket and it can last. OH, VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE. OHX2 Theres tables and chairs here if you want to sit and eat. Nothing fancy but space to chill.

This place used to be one of my favorite go to's but my recent experience was awful. I ordered a tortilla soup and mid way through I found a piece of rock in it! I'm so grossed out and worried about this. Potentially really dangerous!

Place was renamed to Middle Eastern Mexican Grill Came last Friday for a quesadilla. Before they closed due to a crumbling foundation in their building, it was a horrible place to eat. Now its even worse. The quesadilla chicken comes from their chicken soup, strained, and then placed in the quesadilla. It ends up being a soggy, wet bunch of dough in your tin container. An umhappy customer came in to xomplain about their order and the middle eastern man at the register (the owner) told him to, ajd I quote: "Shut the f*** up you fa***t. " Accompanied by more slurs. His employee then came aroun nd the counter with a broom and threatened the customer, telling him to leave and he wont he getting a refund. My wife and I completely lost our appetite and left, leaving everything on the table. This place needs to close. This same location, 2 establishments ago was called "Burrito Loco." How I miss it so

Ordered the Chicken Schwarma plate w/ hummus, a side of Mexican Corn, and Baklava. Holy crap. The portions are huge. You get a lot of meat. All of the flavors are wonderful. Hummus is nice and smooth. Taziki and cold veggie salad mix well together. Great price Great food Fast delivery Will def order again when I can't decide what the hell I want to eat.

Guy at register was totally unpleasant. Nothing was available. When I asked what was he said one option would take 15 minutes and the other would be faster. I chose the other and it took 20 minutes. Don't come here if you like having nice interactions or reasonably fast food. Oh also my order wasn't right 20 minutes later.

I ordered the tacos from Bushwick Pita Palace. Pros: huge portions and a lot of veggies! Cons: the tacos are constructed like a burrito with rice and beans inside of it. This makes the taco quite heavy. The meat was very bland. Overall the tacos were good for 1am on a Thursday. Would I recommend this place? Probably not, but good to have as a super late night option.

Solid because they're open late and will deliver, but food is always cold and mediocre. Has potential but poorly executed

Order the quesadilla. It was a tortilla with a tiny bit of cheese in it. I could have made it better myself. Had a side of rice beans and sour cream but without any salsa what's the point? Delivery is faster than ordering in the store. Went the other day just for tortilla soup and had to wait a painful 20 minutes because it was obvious they were more concerned with their online orders. The soup was just ok. Everything melted together. Would have been much better to put the chips and avocado on the side. By the time I ate it there were just a few disintegrated chips and the avocado had completely melted into the soup. Besides that it was mainly corn and zucchini.

The chicken was over cooked and the beans were either sprinkled with cinnamon or it was old. If it was old I'll be in their establishment making it awkward for everyone. I don't suffer in silence.

I ordered falafels they were so hard dry stale that I didn't eat it also the pita bread was stale the chicken was stale. I wouldn't order from here again I used to love this place I wonder what happened :/

What brought me to this place was that they put everything inside the pita, not on top, which I prefer. so I had to try. Guy behind the counter was helpful and quick. Asked for beef and he put lamb I mentioned it, and he check with one of the cooks and told me it was mixed with lamb. No biggie, I got the chicken. I must say the chicken was cooked perfectly, but had no flavor. No salt. Was a extremely healthy portion which I couldn't finish. Their white sauce, one of the best I tasted. Could have used extra.

So, gotta say the texture of the falafel was wonderful. It also has a good spice. Not enough moisture though. I love the pita pocket bread they used. But I was thrown off by the large sweet beets and carrots. They should include that in the item description. I'd eat here again but only if my usual place wasn't available. (KABOB SHACK)

I love the guys that work here, they are what's making this place even better! Ordered a falafel sandwich here a few times and I really like it. Its a solid falafel and burrito place that is quick and not too expensive. They also have a lot of vegan options!

I have to stan their baba ganoush and falafel forever. Was very disappointing to taste salty single serve guacamole in the burrito I ordered, though. please start using real guacamole.

Bushwick Pita Palace was a surprisingly good Tuesday dinner option. Looking for something not too heavy on the stomach or the wallet, I sifted through my stack of menus and found BPP. I've ordered there once before and remembered purchasing the lamb shwarma. Although months ago, the thought that the lamb was tough and not quite enjoyable still stuck in my head. With that in mind, we went about tackling the rest of the menu and the menagerie of food on it. Normally you would not associate a pita palace with burritos and enchiladas (tortillas, pita - sort of the same but not really) but they offered hispanic fare as well. After a quick look, i ordered the falafal platter and the gf ordered the 1/2 chicken and a spinach pie. falafal platter came with salad, rice, hummus, tahini and pita. 1/2 chicken came with salada, rice, your choice of black/pinto beans. gf got black beans. spinach pie was gigantic. i mean like 1/2 a 9 in. circular aluminum carry out plate gigantic. food arrived promptly and still warm. the rice was long grain, yellow and tasted of anise. the hummus was tasty and a good consistency. the tahini went well with the falafal. the salad was impressive in its greeness(as most delivery restaurants serve washed out pale iceberg) and had beets and other tasty bits in it. the 1/2 chicken was seasoned similar to the rice and paired well. the black beans were good cooked and seasoned well but each bean was still individual (my personal preference is when they're cooked to almost a paste). the spinach pie, i havent had yet. but from the looks of it, it looks delicious. the total for all this food plus tax/tip was 24 bucks. so dinner for two, left overs for lunch and a spinach pie equates around 4 meals at $6 per. not bad at all. really decent place, not bad for the waist line. quite impressive. kudos bushwick pita palace!

Love this place and these guys working here! Best burritos around. HUGE and vegan and vegetarian options. Breakfast served all day (try the pancakes) Nice people and they stay open really late! I eat here a lot around midnight when there is nothing else open. They also have really nice cheesecake and baklava. Try them out they have way more then just "Pitas" believe me!

I've given this place another try before I wrote my review The first time they ran out of pita Tonight they tried to make up for it and included two pcs but this time it was stale. I did not eat I also ordered chocolate cake. That was very stale as well. I did not eat either. Disappointed ;(

Walking to one of the best beer bars in NYC, The Well, this is a perfect place for an easy bite. My friend got the beef enchiladas, $7.50. Huge plate with meat, tortilla, sauce covering that, and cheese, with a side of salad and a plate of rice and beans. A two meal job ideally. For the same price, 3 stuffed tacos with meat. Each of the meats were slow cooked, spiced well, and flavorful. Tortillas were a chewy and bland, unlike a true fresh corn tortilla, but the tacos do their job. Loaded with the meats, beans, cheese, pico, and a good helping of lettuce. The menu is way more diverse than that. They have falafel, shwarma, and other Middle Eastern options, which I should enjoy next time. Cheap, made to order, and quick.

Definitely order the red lentil soup, and the spinach pie! You won't be mad about it!

Would have gave 5 stars but they sent me onion ring that I have in my freezer -_- I was hoping for real onion ring. However the burrito makes up for everything I mean every thing its soooo good. Delivery was quick and lovely (UberEATS eats-ryanl2533 if you want a free meal) but I promise this burrito is everything I didn't even know I can hope for. Definitely a reorder!

Horrible service at this place. This establishment is very unprofessional when it comes to taking and delivering your food order. My friend and I ordered lunch at 12:15 in the afternoon and didn't receive our food until 12:40. People came in after us received their food before us. Again not a good place to go to.

Worst seamless experience I've ever had. Foods cold, it sucks, the guy was literally 40 minutes late. And when I called the restaurant asking where my food is, the guy sounded done with life. Don't order from this place. Just straight up POS, can't even sugar coat it. I wish I said "tip with cash" so I could give the guy a quarter. Terrible.
