You know this is a popular spot when there is a line out the door! Everything is baked fresh daily. There is a wide selection of savory and sweet baked goods. My favorite today was the peach scone and bread pudding cinnamon roll. The perfect amount of sweetness, without tasting like sugar. Baked to perfection with a little crunch on the outside and soft in the middle. You can’t go wrong, everything is amazing. Coffee was good, I went with the batch brew. There is seating on the sidewalk out front and a few table available on the side porch. Parking in the street and in the back lit. I’ve noticed that several coffee shops in the area carry these baked goods.

Nice little bakery with amazing pastries, cakes, croissant. Passion fruit Tres leches did blow my mind and also the almond Croissant was good

Google
Friendly service and amazing pastries. We ordered ahead but made some additional impulse purchases because they looked so good in person. Very tiny inside but there's a great coffeehouse next door that you can take all your pastries to eat with some coffee.

Google
Great little bakery, high quality and delicious. The croissants have a slightly crunchy and flaky texture and the drip coffee is excellent!

Google
Veeery cute, small bakery! The breads were excellent in flavor and texture. No soggies! I got the honor of trying the lavender lemon pop tart. She was fantastic! Other superstars include tomato cheese and potato cheese breads. The tables out front are small and uncomfortable where the star for atmosphere fell. Fantastic morning treat💖✨💛

Google
The food was absolutely delicious I will most definitely come back I had gotten three different items and every single one was spot on all of the items had a beautiful flaky crust, but not to the point where it crumbled the pop tart had a perfect amount of sweetness and left me wanting more The location is a little on the smaller side when you go in, but the fast pay service didn’t make you feel claustrophobic because you’re quickly in and out. If you’re in the Orlando area, I most definitely recommend stopping here.

Google
That khatchapouri is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time! Everything looks so yummy 😋. They have a large variety of both savory and sweet. There is so much more than the standard uninspiring bakeries which all offer the same few things that taste like everywhere else.

Google
The space inside is very quaint and small, but that's also part of its appeal. I showed up late Friday morning and there wasn't a line, so that was nice. First time in, so I didn't know the ordering procedure. The cashier greeted me but said nothing else really, so I ordered two pastries - a lemon poppyseed muffin and a coffee cake croissant. She rang me up and I paid. A moment later, another women walks over with my items in a box. Cool, I'm set! The pastries were both delicious! I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a yummy and fresh baked item. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Love this place for its unique variety of crossaints. You have go super early to grab your favorite ones as they run out pretty fast. There menu goes live at 8 am if you want to order for pick up. The crossaints are made fresh and you can taste that in every bite. The staff is amazing and good at recommending menu options as per your likes.

Yelp
Buttermilk Bakery never disappoints! Fresh && delicious as always. If you haven't been in a while they've eliminated their interior dinning and only have patio dinning with a grab and go ordering system. They also no longer have espresso which I was sad to discover. However, this place is still consistently the best place for baked goods! A must try for sure.

Yelp
We came here after landing at the airport. My favorite breakfast place was closed for vacation. So I needed something to get something to get me going in the morning. The staff here was very welcoming and friendly. Although small inside, they have a decent small outdoor patio where you can enjoy some coffee and pasties. We offered their almond croissant, kouign amann and their Mexican corn croissant. They were all delicious, but this Mexican croissant was definitely something new for me. I usually go for the sweet side of things when I get pastries, but this time I decided to get something savory as well. Not only was it savory, but it was also a little spicy. Highly recommend it, and I can definitely see myself returning next time I'm in Orlando.

Yelp
Came for their savory pastries this time and all were phenomenal! We tried the Potato & Caramelized Onion Croissant Tart, Turkey Bacon & Brie Croissant, and the Beer Cheddar & Caramelized Onion Croissant Loaf - all of them were amazing! We warmed them up for a minute in the microwave which made such a huge difference and brought the flavors out, so def recommend trying them warmed up!

Yelp
It's been a while since I visited Buttermilk Bakery! I was not disappointed in my selection. They have a nice variety of items to pick from. Depending on your mood for sweet or savory or maybe both. Every thing was fresh. The croissants were perfect. My favorite has always been the morning bun. Pop tarts have a thick crust, too thick in my opinion for the amount of filling. But, it was still good. The service has always been outstanding. I do miss the inside seating area. But, I realize the business has grown and they need the space for their bakery items.
google avatar

Sonia K.

Yelp
These pastries were as good as they looked! The best part is you can choose from savory or sweet and vegetarian or non-vegetarian. We tried the Mexican corn, matcha, and fresh fruit croissants. Delicious! I highly recommend stopping by this cute and clean bakery if you are the mood for some pastries. They also serve beverages and have specials as well. There is no indoor seating but they have covered seating outside. Service here is great!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great bakery! Their pastries are so yummy, they also offer a range of both savory and sweet options. I have tried different pastries from here before, but I have never stopped by the bakery myself until now. The inside is quite small as it primarily serves as the kitchen area. They have a small space for napkins, water, etc. register area, and then right beside it you'll see the assortment of pastries they have for the day. They also have a very cute outdoor seating area that I will have to visit on another day when I have more time. The staff were friendly and quick. I decided on their cinnamon roll croissant bread pudding which was $5.50 and it was delicious! Sweet of course so I wasn't able to finish it in one sitting but I loved it. The frosting was my favorite part. Though it was a bit hard to eat as it was stuck to the paper. I will also add that it didn't resemble bread pudding to me, however, that is okay because it was delicious! P.S. You can order online! So you can always place your order in advance and pick up quickly or if there is a particular item you want to try, it will ensure you won't miss out.

Yelp
The best croissant I've had in florida! It was delicious, wish I got more. I could eat that every single day.

Yelp
Love the croissants and pastries here. Love sitting here on a Saturday morning and enjoying a good croissant

Yelp
We parked by Foxtail coffee, just a block away, there is parking behind the bakery and on the street but we usually get coffee at Foxtail (the coffee and tea at Buttermilk is fine but we are used to Foxtail). Go early as there may be a line or your favorite baked treat may be gone! Pop-tarts, muffins, croissants (spinach, tomato, they vary each week from savory to sweet), monkey breads, sweet rolls, donuts, Kouign Amann, to name just a few. So fresh and delicious I end up getting more than I go in for each time. I swear I will only purchase one or two and buy four, most freeze well for a treat during the week or following week with a salad for dinner. The staff is unbelievably nice and helpful. There is a seating area just outside (about 10 tables). It does get warm in the summer so dress appropriately. Go, enjoy the heck out of it and don't worry about the calories!!!!!
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Can't say enough about how fantastic the pastries here were. I usually shy away from bakeries because they only offer sweets but the savory options here were plentiful and absolutely delicious. Service was at the counter but they also offered to bring the order table side along their outdoor seating. The shop itself is on the smaller side so don't be discouraged if it looks like a bit of a line going out the door I can tell you the food is worth it!

Yelp
The ordering and paying for the baked goods online was very easy. My order was ready by the time I got to Buttermilk Bakery. As soon as I got back to my car I scarfed down the turkey bacon croissant. The taste was fabulous and the croissant itself was super fresh. I was there around 1030 in the morning on the 1st day they open for the week. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the freshness. This was my first time eating their product. I'm sure I'll be there again soon.

Yelp
Good coffee, crazy good pastries made on premises and super nice staff. Cute rustic vibe.

Yelp
Gosh I've been in the Winter Park area enough times to where Buttermilk Bakery should immediately be on my radar. Their selection of goods never fails. The second you walk in you're hit with a waft of fresh pastry aroma. The environment reminds me of a classic shop you'd hope to find in the heart of every small town. I walked in at a great time during the week and was confronted with no line. Add Buttermilk Bakery to your list of things to do in Orlando!

Yelp
Wow wow wow! I stopped by because of a pop up market I saw on social media, so I really went in with no expectations but was absolutely floored! They have such an array of both sweet and savory pastries, it was hard to choose. We went with an everything bagel croissant, which came as a square with the most perfect spot of egg in the middle, the caramelized onion, beer cheese, and bacon croissant bake which was a little loaf of croissant pieces melded together with these rich flavors (definitely our favorite), and for a sweet ending we tried the chocolate covered strawberry donut with had the best crispy fried edges! Inside is small, just big enough to order, but they have a sizable patio with tables and chairs along the side. Parking is either free street parking, or there are some lots around the back of the businesses along the block. Definitely this place a try! At 12 on a Sunday they still had lots and lots of pastries, which isn't always the case with people waking up earlier for weekend plans.
google avatar

Yelp
This is place is very intimate, and was quite bustling on the morning we swung by to grab some pastries. But it is truly worth the long wait in line, and the cramped quarters! Everything we tried was fantastic, and the pastries and baked goods they are making are quite intricate, not so easy to find elsewhere. And certainly not this expertly crafted. I was truly impressed. But beyond impression, everything we tried just tasted delicious! Rich, decadent, yet light, and airy. That guava poptart is the stuff pastry dreams are made of! Lovely, hip, and excellent pastry.
google avatar

Echo L.

Yelp
Pastry of the year, period. They are so specialised in their croissant making, and every single pastry item we tried is not disappointed. The pastries are made to perfect with flaky texture outside and chewy texture inside. The plain croissant tastes just as great even on the day after our purchase. Our favorite is the sun dried tomato with cheese. The savory filling very well mixed and combined with pastry texture very well. There is no indoor seats. Service is fast. Will come again and even make a trip to have these amazing pastries!

Yelp
On the diagonal street of Orange Ave on route to Park Ave there is a small bakery that specializes in laminated pastry. Buttermilk Bakery has Orlando's best croissants baked fresh on the daily. Their service is quick with a small patio space to enjoy their baked goods. I suggest coming early to get the best of their products. Each pastry whether savory or sweet is carefully baked to perfection. Definitely a spot to visit if you are in the Winter Park area.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Very good coffee and a delectable selection of pastries in the case. The morning bun was the favorite of the few items we ordered. Small inside and no indoor seating, but several small tables and seats outside in front and on side of building.
google avatar

Danna G.

Yelp
Wow! I recently moved back to Orlando after being away for 18 years! Ready to try new places to me and this did not disappoint! So many choices and all looked amazing. I had the bacon pull apart and grabbed a pumpkin croissant. No skimping on flavor or buttery goodness. My friend grabbed a cinnamon roll and pecan pastry. Good strong coffee and brunch was made on the patio seating. Fast and friendly service with a separate to go door too. Don't miss it or your taste buds will rebel! :)
google avatar

Dan J.

Yelp
Seated along Fairbanks Ave eating a delicious pastry while sipping a coffee. A great way to spend a morning. Always an over whelming choice a pastries. Friendly counter staff.

Yelp
This bakery has made me so happy. The owners have created a very cute place for locals to have some wonderful pastries. Small batches of everything with a giant variety of items is everything you can ask for. You have to go right when they open because they will definitely sell out, but no worries! You can also order ahead which I love. Their service is quick and the employees are kind and their baked items are delicious. It's very difficult to find a place that not only looks good but tastes good as well. My favorite item was the orange chocolate chip muffin. Simple but super yummy. I do like their croissants, but they are a bit dense. The flavor in the croissant is delicious though!
google avatar

Sheila E.

Yelp
Yum yum yum, this muffin was so good I came back another day. Also not featured in this photo-Ginger Lime Scone, out of this world-must try if you like citrus glaze.

Yelp
Was really craving pastries for breakfast so we came by over the weekend, not too busy when we had stopped by for a Saturday at 11 thankfully. The place is quaint- with limited space. There is no indoor seating so definitely not an option on bad weather days which is a shame. They do have an outdoor patio with wooden tables and chairs that have some shading from a tarp above (doesn't cover every table). With it being tight inside, there's really only enough space for 3 people inside at a time. The pastries are as good as they look... they were delicious and just what I was looking for! Perfectly crumbly croissant with beautiful layers. Definitely cannot wait to try more! The passion fruit tea was also pretty good, just be aware there is no sweetener added so it can be pretty pungent! There is no espresso, only drip coffee and cold brew so couldn't get a cappuccino or latte which was a bummer. The service was spot on for the type of establishment, they were taking orders quickly while also not rushing us as there's a lot of choices, and were very thorough with our orders and giving us a generous amount of napkins and utensils. FYI There is a parking lot in the back for customers and the entrance to the outdoor seating area is through the parking behind the building.

Yelp
Perfection : I only eat Baked Greats as life is too short to eat baked "goods": Buttermilk has them. Holy cow...a "Cinnamon Bread Pudding croissant"? Are you kidding me ? It's a Baked Amazing !
google avatar

Paloma M.

Yelp
This adorable bakery offers delicious seasonal pastries and baked goods. They have outdoor seating and parking available. I LOVE their Guava Danish is so fresh and flaky. Pictured are Guava Danish, Brownie, Ham & Cheese Croissant, Bacon and Cheddar pull apart bread, Chocolate Croissant from Buttermilk Bakery. When I tell you that EVERYTHING in this box is delicious I truly mean it. Their juices are also great. The service is always attentive, the shop is cute and small but their counter is filled with delicious options.
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
Favorite bakery in Orlando. Their banana chocolate muffin, the lemon poppyseed muffin, and everything bagel croissant are my go-to but they have a wide variety of pastries that I still have yet to try! I've noticed that a lot of local coffee shops like Deeply carry Buttermilk pastries.
google avatar

Yelp
Buttermilk Bakery When I first got here, not going to lie, I didn't think it seemed very promising being that there wasn't a large selection of items to choose from, but I had the absolute best savory croissant I've ever had so I was proved wrong. I chose the Khachapouri Egg Tart because it sounded so different from anything I've ever had. I wish I could remember how the gentleman working the counter described it, but there was a soft egg with some kind of cheese and a bunch of unique spices. I ended up eating it the next day, and it didn't taste one bit like it was made the day before. It was so incredibly flaky and buttery. The egg, cheese and spice blend compliment the croissant perfectly. It was just such a delicious bite. I'm still thinking about it. And it was big enough to make as my whole breakfast. My husband had the raspberry marzipan croissant, and while I didn't get to try it, he made two meals out of it and said it was one of the best things he's had recently too. I wish the bakery was so much closer, because I'd become a regular just for that egg tart. But I will definitely make special trips to get that as a treat occasionally.
google avatar

Geneva B.

Yelp
Our favorite bakery! My kids love the crossiant and donuts. I love the bacon pull apart and basically anything savory. You can't go wrong, honestly the best bakery! They also do coffee and there's seating in the front and back. There's street parking and a back lot but it fills up quickly. It's fully accessible but inside is a tight squeeZe. Overall, costumer service is super friendly, the place is cute and the food is amazing!

Jordan O.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. Loved everything we got, would go again and get the same stuff or new stuff or both, Just in awesome of incredible it all was - sweet, savory, both who cares still great.
google avatar

Robin K.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting buttermilk bakery. Quaint place, parking in the front of the shop. They offer gorgeous pastries, wish i had taken a picture. The service was ok, no one welcomed us. They just stood behind the glass waiting for us to order. They do have a following since there were people waiting outside the shop before they opened. I got the Khachapuri Pie. It was flakey and buttery but the egg was completely cooked. It was a letdown. With that said, I would return again and try something else.
google avatar

Margaret P.

Yelp
Pros: Great coffee, delicious food, quick service, free water, great location, cool ambiance Cons: Crowded, have to walk around the back of the building to sit down versus having a way in through the building or the side fence, expensive, not a good place to eat during the summer in Orlando (there's nowhere to sit with AC and the fans running are not enough to keep you from sweating) Overall score: C-

Yelp
Rise and shine foodies! This morning's breakfast adventure led us straight to the doors of @ilovebuttermilk, and oh boy, it was worth the early rise! From savory egg croissants to sweet crescents filled with heavenly combos like strawberry and Brie, every bite was a taste of perfection. And let's talk about that yogurt bowl - simply divine, especially with that unforgettable granola! Don't forget, you can snag some of that granola goodness to enjoy at home too! Trust me, folks, if you're on the hunt for the freshest, most mouthwatering bakery delights, Buttermilk Bakery is your ultimate destination!
google avatar

Yelp
Super small bakery! Came here and picked all the things. It is such a nice atmosphere on a Saturday morning and downtown coffee shop vibes. Staff was super friendly and everything we bought we absolutely enjoyed! I definitely recommend this place! 100% ! For the baked goods we felt the price was right for what we paid which came to like $35 The coffee....not so much. For a small tiny cup I paid about $4. Other than that we enjoyed it and cant wait to go back! That chocolate chip banana muffin is STILL calling my name again.... Parking was decent we parked behind a building that was across the street from the place.
google avatar

Chanel F.

Yelp
Found this bakery on yelp, and decided I wanted to try it out. It's a small quaint place. I didn't see a sit down area but I believe there was one on the side of the building. I ended up ordering two things. The parfait, which I thought was costly but it turned out to be a big bowl. I enjoyed the fruit and granola I just thought the yogurt used was a bit sweet... Also ordered an apple and goat cheese pastry. It was super delicious. I wish I would have got two. The cheese and the apples paired very well together. I will definitely return.

Yelp
I have heard that it's sometimes hard to get into this restaurant unless you go right when it opens. However, they have online ordering so when I decided to go with a friend, we woke up early right when the restaurant opened and placed our orders. We then met a few hours later at the restaurant to pick up our food and eat. This place is small, but they have a bit of outdoor seating. They have both sweet and savory options and everything was pretty tasty. Service was awesome. They also have coffee and water available. The only thing I was sad about was the apricot pastry I ordered appeared to have a fresh apricot in the pic and then when I got it, it was a preserved apricot. Maybe just a minor detail?

Hannah B.

Yelp
The service was absolutely incredible. The girls in there were so sweet!! The parties were some of the best I've had and are so flaky with delicious flavor combinations! I highly recommend this place
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
There's no reason this place should be so delicious. What the heck. The pastries are flaky and to die for. The coffee is straightforward and spectacular. The ambiance is nothing short of cool. Additionally, the service was quick and friendly. I will absolutely be returning!
google avatar

Deanna L.

Yelp
I tried the Tomato & Cheese Croissant, Turkey, Bacon, & Brie Croissant, and Fresh Fruit Croissant this time. My favorite was the Tomato & Cheese Croissant. I sat at one of the outside tables and it's a very nice, relaxing place. The service was very good.

Yelp
6/5 stars should be awarded to Buttermilk Bakery. There is a reason this place would sell out in minutes upon being open for mobile orders during the pandemic. Buttermilk is by far my favorite Orlando bakery and I frequent this place monthly. The baked goods are consistently amazing. I can't help but to get a savory and a sweet item from Buttermilk. For the sweets/desserts, my husband and I usually go for one of the donuts (my favorite is an old fashioned cake donut which pairs perfectly with coffee), pop tart, lemon poppyseed muffin (deliciously tart and moist) and then get to enjoy our leftovers for a couple days. For our savory items we usually get a ham and Gruyère croissant, tomato and Brie tart, or the turkey bacon and cheese croissant and we absolutely love them all. Give this place a try and it will become a new favorite. The shop itself is tiny, so we usually take it to go, but they do have an outdoor seated area if you're looking to eat there. The service is always fast if you walk up to the counter. If you are craving something in particular and want to make sure you get it before it's sold out then be one of the first people to make a mobile order in the morning and pick it up once they send you the message that it's ready. PS-any Winter Park local would love to receive a gift card to this place if you're looking for a gift and don't know what to get.

Karrie G.

Yelp
Today I had the pleasure of visiting this bakery. I used the cheat code and placed my order for pickup this morning and thank God I did. When I arrived, around noon, everything I pre-ordered was sold out. I got a cheese and bacon pull about croissant, guava & cheese pop tart (so flaky) and a ham and cheese croissant (the one with the sesames). I haven't tried the last one yet, but I'm sure it's delicious because everything else was SOOO GOOD!! I'm so glad this place is not close to me!! Once I arrived I added the cinnamon bun bread pudding and my goodness!! I'm sure I got all the item names wrong LOL but I've added pics for reference. I can't wait to return. Everyone working there that I interacted with was so nice and energetic!

Nardien O.

Yelp
The 1st order a birthday cake for daughter. We cut the cake and then put it on the table for her ,when she tasted it was very delicious.people lined up to get a piece and everyone that tasted it come back for a second slice.

Yelp
Nice locally owned, same day, single batch family owned bakery. Bakery case inside the front door and outdoor tables to enjoy your favorites. Friendly service, great bakery treats, who could ask for more!
google avatar

Kalani G.

Yelp
On a cute street in Winter Park in a small building with a black awning you'll find one of the best bakeries in Orlando. There's no indoor seating because this bakery is focused on churning out the maximum amount of amazing pastries. Seriously, seriously good stuff. The menu changes often and is seasonal so you're going to have to come back often. Service is quick and friendly and there's plenty of outdoor seating. Pro tip : you can order online for pickup and there are coffee shops around town that serve Buttermilk pastries so keep your eyes open.
google avatar

Kai Kai T.

Yelp
Unusual flavors croissants, and you won't be disappointed. Must try the sun-dried tomatoes provolone and everything croissants.

Yelp
Last day in Orlando so we decided to treat ourselves to some sweets. But a couple of the savory looked so good we had to try them too! For savory, we got the Khachapouri egg croissant tart, everything but the bagel croissant and the bacon cheddar pull apart. We should have stuck with our first instinct to go with sweets because the issue for me is that when I have egg-based dishes, they need to be warm so having a lukewarm runny egg tastes strange so the Khachapouri was not good. The other two were just okay, nothing special. The sweets are definitely the way to go and the best of the bunch was the pain suisse croissant, because I love salty/sweet combinations and this mix of chocolate and cheese in a flaky croissant is AMAZING! Unfortunately, this may have been a daily special because I just checked their online ordering system and they did not have it the next day. My wife enjoyed the morning bun and the bread pudding. The chocolate croissant was also pretty good. The shop is pretty small but there were two women working non stop making the pastries. They just reminded me of that old DD commercial with the guy mumbling time to make the donuts. You should order online for pickup because they seem to run out of things pretty early. We got one of the last pain suisse.

Yelp
I am in love. They had a passion fruit tart that was the very best I have ever had. I brought all the stuff home and divided it all for me and grandson. After I ate the tart I wanted to hide the other half.
google avatar

Surina L.

Yelp
Order online, skip the line and pick up! Do you ever wonder if the baked goods at bakeries are actually made from scratch? You definitely do not have to wonder here! You can tell everything is made fresh and baked with passion and love. Get the flaky croissants! You can taste every single layer of crispy buttery goodness. Anytime I am craving french-esque pastries...this is the spot!
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite place in town to grab pastries for breakfast or to bring to friends! I always grab the everything bagel croissant if I see it. I had the Coffee glaze cinnamon roll for the first time today and it's my new favorite! I love that Lineage Coffee's batch brew is served here. These baked goods are sprinkled throughout town at places, like Deeply Coffee!
