"Tempura Beech Mushroom I decided to check out Buya while researching outdoor restaurants in Wynwood and I’m glad I did. The new restaurant serves yakitori, ramen, and more Japanese dishes. But if you find yourself here, you better order the tempura beech mushroom. It is by far the best thing I tried - crunchy, tender, and comes sitting on a lovely “Tokyo ranch” sauce. Easily one of the best mushroom dishes I’ve had in Miami." - ryan pfeffer, carlos c olaechea

"Buya is a Japanese restaurant serving some pretty good yakitori. They have snapper skewers, chicken meatballs, and an excellent tempura beech mushroom. Their outdoor tables are set up along the street and shaded too." - ryan pfeffer

Disappointed, was expecting to have a real soup with dumplings. Got 4 small dumplings for $12. Guys do something better or explain people what you sell. Thanks

Took 17 minutes for 4 tiny, greasy dumplings and cost almost $20. Editing to add: they made me throw up less than 20 minutes later.

Terrible soup dumplings. Loaded with oil. $12 for 4 of them. Better off spending your money at the other restaurants. I really enjoyed the swordfish pita at Mr. Mandolin.

Outrageously pricy for the quality/amount of food you get. Also waited 30 minutes after being told it would take 10-15

The buns were amazing! I completely loved them, pork belly ones.

Duck rangoons were like licking a salt lick. Couldn’t even finish them.

Mushroom buns are 👌

Yelp
Came in here with much higher expectations. My guest and I can agree that the food wasn't good. Each course was aesthetic but didn't hold to our liking when it came to Asian food. Too much time in between the courses. The ramen soup was not good at all.

Yelp
Love this food at Oasis! Their veggie gyozas are good, and their shrimp buns are delicious! I'm getting their food again when I come back. Just as a heads up though, they already add gratuity before you put in your tip!

Yelp
Pros: Very yummy, I had the mushrooms buns and shrimp gyoza, both were fantastic! Service was fast. Cons: there were no tables around to eat, but this could be because they were setting up for an event. Also pretty pricey, but it's hard because of location. Would definitely eat here again!

Yelp
This was a huge disappointment. We were told by the server at our table to use our phones if we wanted to order our food/pay online. I ordered pork gyoza and pork buns at 6:55p on a Saturday night - I've got text receipts! Unfortunately you have to enter your tip now which is a trap - if you don't tip beforehand will it affect your food/service? If you do, will it also affect food/service? As a millennial I guess I just always tip 20% regardless, but STILL. I give some time leeway because I know there are staffing issues everywhere and it's a Saturday night but by 7:30 I go up to Buya to see if there was a miscommunication or issue. Everyone looked upset that I was walking up and they had to open the window. I explained that I hadn't received a text that it was ready and it hasn't been delivered yet. With an eye roll I was asked my name and when he looked down he realized "Oh.." - my food had been sitting there (with about 6 other trays of food) for a long time. When I tell you this food was cold, I mean I'm not even sure it was ever cooked. Is this the first $30 I'll waste on food? No. Will this be the last at Buya? Oh yeah. If you've read this far and are still interested, just order straight from them and stand there. (I would have normally done this if I wasn't instructed to order online by my server).

Yelp
The staff is amazing but if the chef puts any more salt into those dishes I'm going to die. I've never had so many bottles of water at a restaurant in my life. Ramen and pork belly was on point but please please loosen up in the seasoning on everything else.

Abigail L.

Yelp
They're charred tofu was pretty unexpected I'm terms of size and taste. Had a very gooey texture which was unfortunate. Free water though!

Yelp
$14 for 4 mediocre dumplings... def not worth it. Person taking our order looked bothered and barely said a word. Wouldn't mind spending the $ if it was something worth getting.

Yelp
Great experience. Friendly staff. Charcoal Wagyu was the best steak I've ever had. Pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Crispy duck ramen was perfection and the charcoal snapper was absolutely phenomenal. Great place. Great vibe. Great staff. Can't recommend enough.

Yelp
Food took 25 minutes to come out and was super sub par. We were excited because we were starving :( stick to the Mexican food is Miami
