Amazing and impeccable customer service. Then again with their prices, there's really no choice. Neiman Marcus is coveted by the wealthy. Mostly I laugh at the $500 plus ties, although kudos on their store layout. The sculptures and paintings are impressive. It has that museum feeling to it, and have to say entertaining. Only time I shopped here, was due to compensation from a cologne company. Freelance writing occasionally pays off. The level of knowledge displayed in the fragrance area, is much higher than you'll find at Bloomingdale's or Macys. If pricing wasn't an option for me, I would definitely get colognes and suits here. They definitely have some sharp looking shirts and suits. The problem is, how much do you want to spend ?

Was not given gift cards with 4 purchases this past weekend. Customer service tells me to call store. I call store was put on hold for 20 minutes to only be told to call customer service. Emailed customer service 5 times and got the same form letter reply to call store. This is unacceptable. Sales should have given gift cards on my eligible purchases about $1800 worth. I frequently shop here but won't anymore after this experience.

Went to the men's shoes department today and I had to approach a sales rep to inquire about Chelsea and Chukka boots. The black sales rep looked me up and down and determined I wasn't worth helping. He pointed me in various directions and left me to tend to my needs. I suspect he judged this book by its cover (black and with daddy-day cloths) but the joke is on him and Neiman. I don't shop there often but when I do usually spend about 2.5K. The service is trash and this is my last trip to Neiman.

I just have to give a huge shoutout to Antonio at the women's shoe salon - his customer service is AMAZING, and he is literally my go-to for all my future shoe purchases! He is so friendly, warm, and kind - he takes his time with you, answers all your questions, and ensures that the items that you purchase are in pristine condition. He doesn't rush you at all, and the whole shopping experience with him is just wonderful! Finding a great SA to work with can be rare, so I'm glad that I was able to work with Antonio! In general, I have always been a fan of Neiman Marcus, as the quality and the style of clothing that you find here really does not compare. They carry a great selection of designer wear, and you can really find pieces that will last for a long time. They also hold various sales and points (for NM card holders) events throughout the year, in which you can take advantage of. Located at The Galleria, there's plenty of parking in the mall. +ask for Antonio! +great customer service +shoes are well-stocked! +located at The Galleria +plenty of parking

Neiman Marcus is the most infuriating luxury retailer I've shopped at. They have a useless customer service department and are unrelenting if issues arise after purchase. I purchased two expensive sweatshirts that began to break down immediately and pill all over. I wore the sweatshirts for all of two hours. I was able to fill an entire portable fabric depiller after one wear of the sweatshirts. Rather than reach out to the manufacturer to try and get a replacement, they decided to "promise me" a $30 refund. They never provided the refund and resisted any other resolution. Every subsequent attempt to contact them was met with 45 minutes of tedious verification or incorrect information, before proceeding to do nothing. You can expect better treatment at JC Penney.

I visited Neiman Marcus located in McLean on Sunday, June 30th around 3 pm to return two formal dresses purchased online. When I entered the formal gowns section located on the 3rd floor instead of greeting me as a customer, I encountered a sales associate on her phone. I had been standing in front of her for nearly 30 seconds before she acknowledged me. In fact, she never greeted me. I politely interrupted her scrolling on her phone and informed her that I had two dresses purchased online and presented my receipts. She then proceeded to ask me a strange series of questions. For example, "Am I sure that I purchased the dresses from Neiman?" and "Why did I purchase two dresses of the same size? I found this line of questioning to be offensive and intrusive. 1) I presented my receipt upon initiating the return. So, yes, I purchased the dresses from Neiman which was apparent from my receipts. 2) It is not relevant that I purchased two dresses in the same size, as both dresses fell within the return policy and outlined parameters. I will not speculate as to why she was asking me these questions or her lack of courtesy, but I was highly offended. Her lack of warmness and line of questioning was unprofessional. As a customer, I did not appreciate this treatment at all.

Last night, I took my son to Neiman Marcus in Tyson's Corner to go shopping in the Purple Brand area. He was celebrating his sweet 16 and had received many gift cards. While we were shopping, an elderly white lady with glasses kept following us. Despite others trying to get her attention, she seemed solely focused on us. After I complained to someone, she finally asked if she could help us. We declined, saying we were just looking, but she continued to pretend to be on the phone and follow our every move. My son ended up purchasing a hoodie but felt uncomfortable and targeted due to the lady's behavior, so we left.

I ordered a gift of six martini glasses that were shipped from five different stores all over the country in five different boxes naturally each one wrap differently, some in original boxes, some in bubble wrap. It was shocking that I had ordered from Neiman Marcus because I expected much more from them. I had to pay a shipping company to re-wrap everything in one box so that I could present it as a gift. I really think that Neiman Marcus has gone downhill and there'll be a time that there won't be any more Neiman Marcus.

I went to NEIMAN today for a photo with Santa. After taking a photo I begin to walk around the store just browsing. They have some UNIQUE things for gift ideas and somethings just for me! I talked with some of the store clerks about things in the store and Santa. I had a great time. I will probably be back after Christmas because of the amount of people in the store or I will just come early. Judy was great assisting me with my purchases!

I've got a defective leather L'Agence jacket which was originally $1595 (but I doubt it) on sale for $406.19 total, I texted them with the pictures and they sent me shipping label. I shipped it back immediately Monday 8/7/2023. They received my package Saturday morning 8/12/2023 and still refused to process my refund! The lady in the chat told me they need more time since they have another orders. Sorry but is this my fault? You sent me an expensive jacket which look like it's been worn before. I need my money back! Absolutely disappointing. I have an experience with return of defective item in another company and they've refunded me as soon as I shipped it back without any questions. 07.19 This is the first time I've shopped at this Neiman's. I came in on a Tuesday to see if Chanel has the bag I'm looking for. I stood in line and Cheryl came over to say they closed at 6:30. She asked what I was looking for, told her a WOC or a grand shopping tote. I guess grand shopping is not sold in the US anymore. I can only find those in pre loved stores. They didn't have any WOC either so I was asked to come back the next day to explore other options. Feeling disappointed, I head over to YSL, checked out WOCs and end up buying one in camel color. The attendant was super helpful. Went over warranty and any issues to bring bag to her or any Neiman stores for repairs/cleaning. 07.21 I came back to Chanel with a friend for support. I was afraid of getting pushed to buy something I didn't not want, needed someone to drag me out of the store just in case. Andrea took care of us and she was super fun. Very genuine and gave us a lot of info on pricing, bag designs and type of leathers. I told her I'm looking for the classic WOC in lamb skin but was informed it was not available in store. So I was going to settle with the trendy WOC or small. She pulled out the camel colored trendy and surprised us with the black and camel classic WOCs. She beamed and said we got this late yesterday. I was elated because the black leather and gold hardware was exactly the combo I wanted. When she rang my tab, I used Apple Pay which declined the transaction for fraud. She was so patient. Said it happens all the time. Had to call Apple Card and waited another 10 minutes for account to update. Love the stellar service from both stores. I would shop here anytime than go to a brand boutique.

12/233/2020 -- update, I received the placement via overnight and now ready for my holiday table. **Review for curbside pickup** Not happy. Ordered 6 placemats for my holiday table. Extremely pleasant staff person delivered to the car at curb site. When I arrived home and opened the package, there was only 5! Well so much for my holiday table with matching runner. Note to self, if you ever do curb side pickup again, check your purchase before pulling away. Now, trying to resolve by phone and will have to wait for delivery.

Just an update on the perfume I was looking for. So instead of Neiman Marcus, I went to Macy's and told them that I was looking for a perfume but didn't know what it was called. They sent me home with 8 Dior samples to test... instead of saying that they were not trying to sell !!!!!! Fast forward, three days later I went back to Macy's and got three perfumes instead of one! Because I tried them all and fell in love with three of them, including the one that I was looking for. This is called customer service. They sold three instead of one just because of their caring attitude. Neiman Marcus at Tysons corner really needs to reconsider their services and attitude.

Updating my review because I actually had an issue with an order placed by a NM client advisor IN-STORE, it NEVER arrived! I reached out to the client advisor, asked for a tracking information and all he texted back was "will be coming soon". It has been three weeks and I still haven't received the item. I reached out to customer service one week ago and they directed me to the fragrance department. They told me to reach out to my client advisor. I asked if they're able to check their system just to see what is the status of my order. They said no and told me to reach out to my client advisor (who has not been very responsive). I called customer service again. They directed me to delivery and shipping department, there was no answer and they told me that they will leave a message for them to call back. One week later and still no call back. This is very poor customer service and is essentially stealing/fraud. I will likely only purchase from my NM Chanel SA from this point forward and no one else. Even then, I will only purchase items I can walk out with. Do not let a CA/SA place an order for you online in-store. TLDR: Do not allow in-store online ordering through a CA/SA. There's a chance you won't receive your item even though they've charged you for it. And there is no point in going through customer service because they will leave you hanging without any answers.

You get what you pay for. The level of quality and service at Neiman Marcus is exceptional. Yes, you'll pay for it, but man it feels great to be pampered! Jan was my personal shopper during my last visit, and she went above and beyond to provide me with an experience that made me feel special and taken care of. She waited on me hand and foot! Lunch in the cafe also came with excellent service. LOVE Neiman's!

I was shopping at this location and was unable to get help to make my perfume purchase for over 20min. Sales associates were busy looking in each others faces. Gossiping and trying to push new mediocre scents on the many customers passing through. When I finally received service and requested the scent that I wanted the sales associate made a big production of squeezing herself through the counter opening, crowd of individuals to view the item herself as if she needed to touch and verify for herself that I was requesting that scent. Then she informed me that there were no more but she would check. I took her banging on a computer keyboard, talking off topic then no topic with two fellow associates and a trip to the back room to finally retrieve my item. Finally she brought the scent out and I requested to add a hot selling body wash from another department which was also a big ordeal for her. Then in order to increase her sales commission (selfishness not customer service) she requested that I allow her to ring the sale for a pre sale and wait to receive my item. At this point, I didn't care I wanted to away from her and leave. To do the pre-sale I would have to wait 7 days but I agreed. Then the final straw, 6 days later I get a notice in my email that my order shipped. As I examined the purchase receipt I noticed that this incompetent sales women had rung me for a 275.00 price item that I DID NOT even order!!!!!!!!!! I am now forced to WASTE MY TIME on a Sunday retuning her mistake to my charge card. I'm so sick of this NM they have gone downhill in the utmost regard! If it's not greedy, incompetent sales folks, it's the military style presence of police at every turn point to keep robbers at bay. No one ones to have a shopping experience which involves this level of horror. I will take my business to PA where things are civilized and in decent order and the shopping selection still matches the price point of excellence that is required at Neiman Marcus.

I had the unfortunate need to use this Neiman Marcus's restroom. I've seen nicer gas station bathrooms - Walmart has better (and cleaner) bathrooms. It was trashed. With the scuffed walls, torn cabinets, and stained carpets I shouldn't have been surprised in the lack of cleanliness of the actual facilities but I was. A gallon of paint, a hammer and a scrub brush would do wonders. Needless to say there are plenty of other places I can spend money in!

Neiman Marcus provides nothing less than a great shopping experience. This review is based on the time I went in to purchase some gifts for my fiance. I was greeted and asked if I needed any assistance. The gentleman (I can't recall his name at the moment) that helped me was AWESOME!! He was very knowledgeable about the various brands and offerings of their bags (purses). He helped me choose a very nice Balenciaga and Christian Louboutin bag. I told him that I also wanted to purchase something from the Gucci store. He called his friend that works there to ensure he was working that that and escorted me to the Gucci store. As we skipped pass the 15 or so shoppers waiting in line to get in, we were welcomed at the door and proceeded to go in to shop. Their presentation and care of your products is superb. I will definitely be a returning shopper at this Neiman Marcus and encourage anyone who's looking for A1 service to shop here.

Worst online customer service Worst online customer service. Tried to chat with online CS. First agent was assigned after 4 minutes of waiting. (3.22 entered into chat, 3.26 pm agent was assigned, 3.29 no reply from the agent). 2 nd attempt today 3.33 pm entered into chat, they said waiting time is 2 minutes, but until 3.44 no agent is assigned. I placed an order online that I was so excited about receiving. The order did arrive by FedEx however it was stolen from my yard. I called to submit a claim with NM and after an investigation on their end, I was told that the claim was denied because as far as they are concerned they did their job and the package was delivered. I was shocked this happened to me, four years ago when someone stole a package from our property around this same time from Nordstroms the response was so different, they truly made me feel that I was a valued customer! That was customer service I could not say I will shop here again. I was truly disappointed not only was I out of money but my Christmas presents as well. I am happy that I waited to place my second order.

I went in to look for something formal and got no assistance at all. the only thing I got from shopping here was getting profiled. im assuming I didn't fit the appropriate appearance for someone to come help me. this associate named Derek followed me and my friend everywhere not asking a single question. Im Assuming he thought we were going to steal. I confronted him about the situation and his excuse was " I'm here to help." I've never experienced anything like that before. Full of lies. Didn't know they hired people like that. Immature and embarrassing.

I visited the watch and jewelry department in October 2023. The selection is a pretty good size with both new and pre owned watches. They have Piaget, Franck Muller, and Hermes watches as well as used Rolexes, omega, Breitling, and Cartier. I didn't look at the jewellery much, but the selection is also very nice with some high end pieces. I was assisted by Laila and she is very kind and helpful. I looked at a couple Rolexes and they were all in decent shape and at market prices. They even have a gold Patek that is incredible. If I decide to get a Piaget, I would get it from here. Hermes and Franck Mueller are the 2 main brands though.

I had placed a few orders online for silicone-free strapless bras since I am allergic to silicone grippers but unfortunately the sizes I ordered didn't work out so I came here in person this morning to get fitted. Vera assisted me by getting different sizes for me to try on and giving me her professional opinion on which size looked like it fit best. She also asked me if I wanted a complimentary bottle of water. She was very professional, helpful, and outgoing. I don't come to Neiman often but I can see that providing customer service is important to them. If the prices were within my budget I would shop here more frequently given their excellent customer service. Neiman was one of few retailers that sold the Chantelle silicone-free strapless bras and that's what brought me here. They also had the best price for the bra when I shopped online. The retailer price is $78. I saw it online for $37.80 and today it was only $27 as it's the last call. Score!

Since I last reviewed it should be noted that they accept all credit cards, and not just their own. I think this is a great policy change that just makes a lots of sense. We are here on a pretty consistent basis as they have a solid women's shoe department, and a large selection of bags and accessories for women. There is also a good sized stand alone Louis Vuitton boutique, and smaller Prada and Chanel mini stores inside.

There's a reason why Neiman Marcus stores are closing. Their customer service is atrocious. Did an online return and the woman who assisted me, Yvette, inspected every single item as if I had worn it multiple times and was looking for reasons not to return it. She finally made stuff up because she couldn't find any reason. She faked armpit and deodorant stains on one of the items I was trying to return. Now mind you all of this stuff showed up while I was on vacation and I never got to wear it because it didn't arrive on time. she had a terrible attitude, was snarky and rude, and this was happening while the manager was standing next to her! abhorrent customer service for a high end store. I will never shop Neiman Marcus again. Saks and Nordstrom are 100 times better in every way. Yvette should not be in customer service. She's a liar without reservation. Shameful.

The NM experience. Very little specialty or retail experiences in the world can top it. Looks like a department store but performs like a small specialty boutique. They call themselves a "specialty retailer" and really live up to the moniker. Been shopping here, DC Chevy Chase, and even their LAST CALL outlet center since the late 80s and loving every minute of it and every dollar spent has been well worth it. Here and around the country on travel. Tysons is my fave since the parking challenges of DC are eliminated + there are many additional stores and dining options to augment NM. Parking is free and abundant. Plus, their associates don't hover. They make themselves available and give you space as a shopper. Men's shoes, fragrances, Chanel boutique, lingerie, shoes, clothing, the cafe, etc, etc, etc....been there...and done it. If they don't have it - they'll find it. Saks is fine. So is Nordstrom and others but none are Neiman Marcus. The rustic silver bags and packaging they use with that logo even take me to another place emotionally when I see it. I think I wanna be buried here when the time comes lol.

Ashley at customer service was amazing. I usually shop online and pick up due to the snobbish way most employees treat customers. Ashley saw I was waiting for a while, she acknowledged me and said she'd be right with me. She came and handled my return efficiently and even helped update my account. She was polite and friendly and definitely made me feel valued.

I'm so glad I went to Neimans because they have an actual Guerlain counter and the sales rep Ruella is just amazing. She helped me find the lipstick and shade I was looking for we well as assisting me in finding my holy grail mascara. Their mascara is amazing and smells like roses (which I love)! I love how we're now connected, if I need to stock up it's just a text away.

I often shop online from Nordstrom as I am an ambassador member. This time I decided to shop from Neiman Marcus. What a big mistake that was. When I received my merchandise, I shortly found out that it was the wrong item. I decided to chat online to rectify the problem. There is absolutely no customer service. I found the representative, rude, abrupt and impossible to chat with. As I am explaining to her that I got the wrong merchandise, she insists on the fact that I made the wrong order which is clearly on my receipt of what I had ordered. She's just trying to blame it on me. Once I presented her with my order number, she still denies any wrongdoing telling me that this item comes , in only one color. After going back-and-forth, she quickly realized that she was wrong. She immediately told me that once I return the item that I received it would be replaced with the correct one. It was like I am just going to steal the item and not return it . She was not kind or courteous by any means. This sure will be the last time I order anything from this establishment. This took approximately one hour and 10 minutes since each of her response was delayed and slow. She not only wasted my time, but also the companies time. Lesson learned. Never judge a store by its name as often times it is exactly the opposite. Never ever buy at Neiman Marcus again.

I ordered shoes for my daughter around Thanksgiving as a Christmas gift. A week before Christmas, I received an email that they would be delayed until mid-January. When they did not arrive, I checked my order and it was cancelled without notification. I contacted the store and they said they could not fulfill the order and that the notice of cancellation should arrive within 24 hours. NM used to have such great customer service. Not sure what has happened, but greatly disappointed in this store.

I understand that everywhere nowadays needs an appointment to shop but when a client stands outside of your store waiting area please be nice and ask if I need some assistance. I was at the Chanel store which is located inside NM and stood outside of the line for about 5mins and nobody seemed to care about me. one associate was checking on her phone and the other one saw me but did not say a word as she's waiting for her customer who's checking on bags. i get it when you are with your client you don't have to talk to me but at least make the other person aware? I ended up shopping at the Chanel boutique and they were able to assist and offer nice customer service. Shame on NM Chanel team.

My experience with returning a watch from Neiman Marcus was extremely unpleasant. According to the sales representative, she must call "upstairs" to issue a refund. Additionally, she asked several times if I used a gift card. I purchased the watch using my American Express Gold Card. I suggested that perhaps I could contact American Express to help sort out this situation, to which the Sales Associate responded rudely that I could contact whoever I liked. The experience was extremely uncomfortable, and I felt as if I had been targeted because of my race. I have contacted American Express to find out why Neiman Marcus might mistake a purchase with an American Express Gold Card for a gift card.

I placed an order for a pick up and had to go to a bday party . After 3 hours I made a call and requested if I can please pick up my order since I'm attending an event . I talked to a person at pick up line and transfers me to Nancy to help me out . Very unprofessional respond from her and she literally didn't care for me to cancel my order and go grab it from Saks fifth avenue . She told me their Q's goes in order and under any condition she can't help me to pick up my order faster . And was very rude on the phone and after I asked to talk to manager she said , she is fulfilling a manger and no Manager on duty . I won't go back to this location any more

Two and a half stars. The snooty atmosphere was not prepared for one such as I, who sauntered through after football to kill time before my hair appointment. I could overlook the snide customer who snapped at me that it wasn't the Metro when I slid past her on the escalator. After all, you can't help the personalities behind the clientele you draw. Yes, it was a narrow escalator. No, I didn't bump into her. In fact, I'd made the extra effort to ride up onto the handrail as I went by so I didn't even brush the fur coat she was wearing. The ensuing fit she threw that went uninterrupted by the staff member standing placidly watching ME to make sure I wasn't stealing anything? Yeah, I'm docking you for that. Extra half-star warranted for the friendly lady in the dress section, even though the four sales racks there could've been organized way better.

Ok, i got my Boy today check out pics What happened between the time my Chanel boy bag was rung up to the point where it was wrapped because when I got home and checked the bag, it was a completely different color, same style granted but the Boy I selected and purchased was the Caviar black leather with gold hardware and NOT the silver hardware (more like bronze) lamb skin leather boy? For all the time (3 hours top) at the store contemplating, collaborating, analyzing functionalities and even agonizing session, this was not the experience I had expected. So, of course I called Angela, my sales lady, as expected she apologized and reasoned that she wanted to give me a brand new pristine one still on the box, huh? If that were the case, why did I end up with the one I told her I did not like because I preferred the newer style. Well, she said she will order a new one for me and it expected to be at the store next Tuesday. Okay, I said, I had no choice at this time, still reeling from the wasted time and inconvenience. But given it is a high end item, it's got to be right so I will be patient and wait for, I hope, the bag I actually paid for. For this unfortunate incident, I am compelled to drop them to 3 stars. When their service becomes flawless and perfection again, which should be a given considering the kind of money spent at this store, then maybe I can get to that point again of rewarding them for excellent service which is a must and no faux pas such as this. I hope it was truly an honest mistake for the thought of having my bag swapped for an older style would be a grave désappointement! Le servis de mauvaise en qualité et mediocrité! Neiman Marcus (Tyson Galleria). DO NOT purchase designer shoes from this department store online. My $800 Valentino shoes arrived damaged--interior stretched and creased and soles of shoes with gravel pockmarks and scuffs. This is the second pair of USED shoes I've received from Neiman Marcus and will from now on, purchase my shoes from Saks or Bloomingdales. Please NM, train your sales associates to inspect expensive, returned merchandise knowing that there are slobs who will purchase these shoes for events and return to the store after use. When I tried to leave a review on the NM website, google blocked it as unsafe, not private--probably because the negative key words triggered the block so I am posting on Yelp and any other forum I can think of.

I purchased a pair of Vince sandals in my regular size of 7.5 online because they were not available at the store. I got them and they were toooo big. I walked around my foyer and living room to see how they fit. Then I decided to order the 7 and see which would be better. I just recovered from Covid and decided to go return the 7.5 and took the 7 also just in case I saw something better at the store. After looking, I decided to return both and just wait to buy when the spring stuff comes out since these were open toed. Well, I was COMPLETELY embarrassed when the shoe dept sales guy told me a thin white scratch on just ONE shoe indicated that I had worn them! The other shoe had nothing. So basically he was accusing me of wearing the shoes outside. I told him that I tried them on INSIDE my house and why would I wear ONE SHOE out??? How is that even possible???? But he would not take back the shoes that I paid about $530 for even though I had NEVER worn them OUTSIDE of my house!! He kept saying that it was not him, it was the NM policy. I had to go downstairs to customer service and ask them and they didn't have any issues with the shoes. They KNEW that I had ONLY tried them on. They were able to process the return. I am SO embarrassed as the shoe dept was full of customers and they all saw me being told that I was lying. I am a professional that makes good money. I DO NOT NEED TO BUY EXPENSIVE SHOES, WEAR THEM AND THEN RETURN. HOW DARE YOU EVEN ACCUSE ME OF THAT? Just because I don't dress up to come to your stupid lackluster store that sells "old lady crap" you're going to assume that I am some con artist??????? This is not the first time I have been treated like a thief at this particular location (Tysons). The only reason I bought these shoes from your store vs. Nordstrom or Saks is because they were on sale on nm.com. I will NEVER EVER even walk into that stupid store again to use the bathroom. Your loser store only sells cheap logo crap to people that PRETEND to have status by wearing head-to-toe logos and 3 pounds of makeup and 1 bucket of cheap perfume. I hope you go out of business. I am going back to Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue with my $530 to buy shoes and some respect.

As a black female to my black counterparts, don't let these little "high end" retail jobs make you feel like you better than the rest of the blacks who walk in. Really rude when I had to repair a defective Chanel bag. Claimed it was wear and tear when I barely used it. Sales associate was so sweet, however the manager Anna said she can't see any issues. For such an expensive bag, if it's defective, you need to take it back. Instead she put the blame on me and claiming normal wear and tear. If I was unhappy with any bag, Chanel boutiques normally take it back...instead I'm left with a defective product. Thank you Neiman Marcus! Never going to shop with you any more.

Abubaccar in the women's shoe department gave me the worst shopping experience ever! Not quite sure how a luxury retail store employs rude sales people such as him. He wasn't interested in my needs or what I was looking for, it seemed like he just tried to get a sale out of me. Needless to say I will not be shopping with him anymore!
