"Located on Harbor Island, this casual restaurant on stilts provides scenic views of San Diego Bay, the city skyline, and Coronado Bridge. Open daily for lunch and dinner, C Level serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, meats, as well as gluten-free and vegetarian options. Find California coastal dishes like the ahi, crab, and avocado stack with a papaya-mango salsa and taro chips; lobster macaroni and cheese; and seafood pappardelle pasta with scallops, white fish, mussels, and shrimp. Catch the sunset with a refreshing libation — try the Prime House Punch with gin, peach brandy, honey, and black tea." - Roxana Becerril

C Level – San Diego Dining at Its Finest I've been coming to C Level since 2005, and it remains one of my favorite restaurants in all of San Diego. Set right on the water at Harbor Island, it offers breathtaking views of the downtown skyline, Coronado Bridge, and sailboats drifting by—sunset here feels like a private show. The menu is fresh, creative, and consistently well-executed. Their lobster mac & cheese is rich, comforting, and absolutely unforgettable. I also love the Skirts on Fire and Spinach Salads, the miso-glazed sea bass, and their vibrant seasonal salads. The non-alcoholic drink options are thoughtful and refreshing—perfect for those of us who don’t drink. C Level does take reservations, and I highly recommend booking ahead, especially if you want to snag a table on the patio. Valet and self-parking are available, but arriving a bit early makes for a smoother experience. Whether you’re hosting guests, enjoying a quiet celebration, or just treating yourself to a beautiful meal with a view—C Level always delivers.

Beautiful Restaurant with Views of Downtown San Diego and the Bay. Always Lot's of activities to watch on the water. Very friendly efficient service, quality food. Plan on a wait If you don't have reservations. Excellent place to take family and friends from out of town. Only 10 minutes from the Airport.

Amazing food. Amazing and very friendly staff. Nathan was our server and he was great! Calamari and strawberry shortcake was my favorite! Lobster bisque and Lobster mac and cheese was what I had and mom had the fish & chips which were great. Would definitely recommend.

For our wedding anniversary, I researched a good restaurant, and I’m so happy it was worth it! The place is beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor dining. You get a stunning view of downtown buildings, ships, yachts, and the ocean, such a gorgeous setting paired with delicious food. I made a reservation two weeks in advance just to be sure. We parked right in front of the restaurant and waited for it to open at 11 AM. There was plenty of parking available, which was great. We loved the appetizer: an ahi, crab, and avocado stack, so fresh and flavorful! I had the seafood pappardelle pasta, and my husband tried the blackened fish tacos, which were huge and absolutely delicious. We forgot the names of our drinks, but they were really good and definitely worth it! To top it off, they gave us a complimentary strawberry shortcake after our meal to celebrate our anniversary, such a sweet gesture. The server was very kind, answered all our questions, and helped with everything we needed. It was truly a memorable brunch and totally worth it.

Plenty of sea food and less options for meat and steak lovers (try Prime Island) Big shout out for Omar (the server) and busgirl… Will visit Prime Island next time.. I am giving 3 out of 5 atmosphere for to sit close to ocean view we had to wait for 1 hour so we agreed to take any other table available in the center. Two things won’t order next time: 1. Non-alcoholic sparkling wine 2. Rose 🍷 for my wife was not good Rose But: Overall experience still deserves 5stars 🙂 Thanks Omar for our wedding anniversary surprise 🙏😇

We came to C-Level Lounge over the weekend to celebrate our daughter's birthday with an early lunch. The highlight was definitely the view — the location is stunning, right on the harbor with beautiful sights of downtown San Diego and the bay. We were seated at a lovely corner table, which made for a scenic and relaxing setting. As for the food, it was unfortunately underwhelming. We started with the Ceviche Verde, which was actually quite tasty and presented nicely in a glass. It had more ceviche than it looked, so that was a pleasant surprise. However, the main dishes didn’t impress. We ordered: - Kale & Prosciutto Salad – just okay, nothing memorable. - Ahi Tuna & Salmon Poke – disappointing; the rice was overcooked and the salmon had a strong fishy taste and smell. - Blackened Fish Tacos – decent but not standout. - Fish & Chips – also just okay. - Wagyu Burger – probably one of the better items we tried, but still just average overall. If you visit, I recommend coming for the view, a sangria, and maybe the burger. But for the price and reputation, the food didn’t live up to expectations. Sadly, not a place we’d return to for the food.

Amazing views of SD. RIGHT next to the airport so perfect for a nice layover or just-arrived lunch. Had a reservation and still had to wait a couple minutes to be sat but it wasn’t long. I’d go here for the view, sitting in the deck right next to the water and the vibe good was okay but not incredible. Would go again maybe for drinks.

Yelp
I've had C Level bookmarked on Yelp for literal years. This has been the number one restaurant from way back when that I'd always wanted to try in San Diego. For my birthday weekend my friend and I finally made it and it did not disappoint. If you want a stunning waterfront restaurant with lovely service and delicious food this spot is a MUST when you are in San Diego. C Level also called Island Prime is a lunch and dinner restaurant located right on the harbor. It's truly stunning and actually pretty secluded. Near this restaurant there are only two other small waterfront restaurants and a walkway to see the water. Thankfully GPS got us right here. We came on a Sunday but we were smart to come for an early lunch. There was plenty of free parking since we beat the crowds and with a reservation we were seated right away. My pro tip is come for an early lunch as you won't have to wait and you'll get a better chance of getting a waterfront table. Our table was lovely, beautiful views of the harbor and the skylines of San Diego off in the distance. The covered patio was nice as it provided shade but we had amazing views and could hear the sounds of the water. You really couldn't have a better outdoor brunch atmosphere. I love a restaurant where the service and food lives up to the ambiance and location. Here everything was great. The staff were super nice all around. First, we got here almost 30 minutes earlier than our reservation but since it was early they literally gave us no fuss. They sat us right away and made it no big deal. Then the gentlemen who waited on us was very attentive and friendly. Super on top of it and even brought us out complimentary desserts when my friend mentioned that we were in town celebrating our birthdays. Service was 5/5. The cocktail menu had a good variety of options. My friend was happy with a simple IPA local beer and I opted for a cocktail that tasted like a guava mojito. Presentation was cute enough and the flavors were good and refreshing. The food here was really good and sealed the deal on thus being a 5/5 on yelp. I started with the oysters and they were delicious. Great ice presentation and just super fresh and tasty. A great starter. I had the fried fish and chips. Normally a prefer beer batter but the panko was a nice touch. It's a heavy meal with the added fries and hush puppies so probably better it wasn't beer battered. A lot of fried food so maybe next time I'd opt the fries out for something else but it was good. The hush puppies were to die for and I love any menu that has them. My friend had their salmon poke bowl and it was huge. Super fresh and tasty she reported back. We really liked our food and for a waterfront restaurant the prices were pretty standard. Not cheap but also not overpriced, appropriately priced menu here. C Level was a treat and I'm so happy I finally got to experience this spot. By the time we were leaving there was a longer line of people checking in so definitely come early if you want to ensure you get a table on the water and make a reservation in advance. All domains were a 5 out of 5 and I'd love to come back again in the future.

Yelp
Our experience here was absolutely fantastic, and it was all thanks to our waiter, Tony! He was truly the best waiter ever--attentive, personable, and full of great conversation. His recommendations were spot-on and elevated the entire dining experience to a 10/10. The food was delicious, and the outdoor seating offers a stunning view. Even if it's chilly, they've got heaters to keep you comfortable. But honestly, the highlight of our visit was Tony. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back, and we hope to see Tony again!

Yelp
Came for New Years Eve. We made reservations and everything went smoothly. I got the Korean beef tartar which was yummy and the citrus salmon and my bf got the lobster bisque and steak with mashed potatoes. Both were pretty flavorful. Our waiter was nice and attentive. We loved our seating. We sat outside and saw the view of ocean. Great experience.

Yelp
We went for Happy Hour and they have a really good one! The sangria was reeeally good, I had to get seconds The baked Brie was also worth coming back for! Coated and fried to perfection and accompanied by apples and a jam that worked really well with everything The other snacks were good too The view was the best part. Right on the water and at sunset, it was amazing

Yelp
It has been awhile since we've been here. Picking up friends from the airport, wanting to stop for lunch with a view, this is a perfect place. I made an Opentable Saturday reservations at 12:45 PM for a party of 4 and requested an outdoor table by the railing to see the view. When we arrived, we were greeted and YES... our table with a view was reserved. The restaurant was filled. Mindi our server introduced herself. She was excellent, letting us catch up with our friends, while being very patient with us. We ordered cocktails and beers followed by a Cedar Plank Salmon, Korean Tofu Bowl, Lobster Fontina BLT and a C Level Loui Salad. When the dishes were served, all that was suppose to be hot was hot and cold was cold and it all tasted fantastic... no complaints. We'll be back when in the area again. Atmosphere: busy pier restaurant with a fantastic view. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.

Yelp
Party of 15, Resy for Thursday at 6:15pm. No waiting, We were seated upon arrival. Service was friendly and prompt. Y'all, The views are so great! This restaurant is top tier, for real! I had a Cabernet, delicious. We started with calamari and baked brie shareables, both were great! I ordered the fish and chips cause I really wanted those hushpuppies. It was good but the hushpuppies were so small. I guess I'm just used to TX sized hushpuppies Anywho, the food was delicious and the dessert was amazing! I shared but I couldve eaten the entire pineapple upside down cake, it was amazing! All in all, great experience and I look forward to returning!

Yelp
An excellent date spot that can be affordable (Mon-Fri 3:30-5:30pm happy hour) or a splurge (if you go for dinner, Island Prime menu). We went here for the weekday happy hour to try some of their $11 bites such as the coconut shrimp and sesame crusted brie, as well as the lobster bisque cup off the regular menu. We also got an $11 cocktail off happy hour (Cabrillo Cooler). Prices wise, happy hour saves you almost half the cost, but also note that the portions of the bites aka mostly appetizers are a little smaller (e.g., coconut shrimp was 4 pieces vs 6 pieces off the regular menu). Regardless, I prefer a cheaper, smaller portion dish so I get to try more variety. Coconut shrimp is nicely battered and crispy, served with some coleslaw that is hearty yet refreshing. The sesame crusted brie is fairly complex dish, with the sesame crust masking the funkiness of the brie outer coating, while the dipping sauce enhances the creamy brie. The lobster bisque is very rich and has a good amount of actual lobster meat. The Cabrillo Cooler is fairly solid, typical average cocktail drink, but good value as it was discounted. Service is decent. We went during sunset so there are some window blinds down so we won't see the sun directly during the golden hour (winter sunset coincides well with the happy hour times!), but near the end of sunset, they willingly removed the blinds so we got a nice refreshing view of the city, unobstructed.

Yelp
Had a reservation for a group of nine, and it took some time to set up our table, but not too bad! We were seated outside on their patio, so we got to enjoy the great waterfront views of the San Diego Bay, downtown skyline, and Coronado Bridge! I ordered the Seafood Pappardelle Pasta, and it so yummy! A really good variety of seafood, and huge portion too! It came with scallops, white fish, mussels, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, chili flakes, garlic, pesto cream, rosemary-garlic crostini, and lemon oil arugula. The pesto cream was rich but not overly heavy. There was a slight kick from the chili flakes. A very filling dish! A few of us shared the Lobster Mac 'N Cheese, and it was delicious! Definitely a heavier dish though, so I'd recommend getting it as an appetizer or splitting it with others instead! It had a browned crust on the top--the best part! It comes with a side salad of organic greens, candied walnuts, and a fresh herb vinaigrette which definitely helped to cut through the richness. Our server was friendly and attentive. We asked him if he could take a photo for us, but he ended up giving us a whole photoshoot unprompted!

Yelp
We had a birthday celebration at the restaurant with friends. Our appetizer was overcooked. We had a great dinner and enjoyed the table next to the water. Our waitress was helpful and helped us celebrate our friend with a strawberry shortbread cake for dessert. We enjoyed our time there and didn't feel rushed.

Yelp
Good restaurant right near the water with good views and heated outside patio. Service was great and attentive. Food was solid - not the best I've had but great portion size for the price. Unless you're starving, entrees can probably be shared. Lobster bisque: (4/5) good, but definitely have had better. On the thicker side. I wish there was more lobster in it. Fish and chips: (4/5) not beer battered and is panko breaded. It is a thin breading, so the fish itself was a big piece. I wish there was slightly more taste to the fish but it was cooked well. Paired well with the Parmesan fries! Seafood pasta: (4.5/5) surprised by this dish! Chewy but still soft pappardelle coupled with a lot of the pesto cream. I'd say this was the best dish out of all the ones we tried. Cherry tomatoes give a nice sweetness to the dish. Mussel pot: (4.5/5) really good dish, especially if you dip the ciabatta in the cream sauce. The taste of the arugula and the onion pair really well with the mussels. I wish the bread was a bit softer though as you did have to dip it a bit or else it was on the harder side. Wagyu burger: (4/5) cooked medium rare as requested and was large. It can get very messy so I'd suggest eating with a fork or knife unless you want to wash your hands in the bathroom afterwards. Solid burger but I would stick with seafood-focused dishes next time. Coconut shrimp: (4/5) tasty one-biters. I didn't really taste the horseradish in the dipping sauce but it had a good sweetness to it. The shrimp was also not overly coconutty like other coconut shrimps.

Yelp
Is there anything better than the San Diego waterfront? How about a casual (but $$) lounge in the sunshine with delicious food? And impeccable service? First, shout out to James. Great service. I met a friend there for lunch and decided no CRG dining is complete without the Pepita and sesame encrusted Brie. There is a reason it's the mainstay! And the jalapeño jelly - over the top! We also shared the Skirts on Fire steak salad. Perfectly spiced with chunks of edamame and avocado. And finally, the ahi and crab stack. Perfectly fresh and tasted like the ocean! I will of course be back. But just FYI this was too much food for 2 people. And the bill was $84 not including tip. So order do business for next time: order less and enjoy the views more!

Yelp
Visiting San Diego and decided to try a random place with a view. This was a great choice! We arrived on a slightly chilly evening and sat in the open area right next to the water. I was worried we would be cold but their heaters do a really good job of heating the space without feeling like you're next to a furnace, it was extremely comfortable and we were able to take off our heavy coats. The food was also good and they give surprisingly large portions which is nice since the place is a little pricey. We had the Wagyu burger, lobster mac n cheese, and crème brûlée. My sister loved her burger so much that she was still eating the leftovers at the end of our trip. I probably should have gotten something else. The lobster Mac looked great and is huge, heavy, and very very cheesy. Normally all the things I would want but the flavor wasn't quite there for me. A little bland and I mostly ate the top (which was mostly just toasted cheese). I'm sure others would enjoy more but you need to have a Healthy appetite in order to make a dent in it. The crème brûlée was simple and delicious. A great reminder to learn how to make it at home. The service was really good and attentive, we were given a lot of recommendations and even though it was late we did not feel rushed at all. Overall we had a great dinner experience with a killer view and I would definitely visit again to try something else. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Yelp
I chose this restaurant for my wedding anniversary based on the reviews and it lived up to expectations. We waited a little bit longer to have a better table with the views of the water, and I am so glad we did. When you are here, you feel special -between the elevated romantic lighting and décor, excellent service, views, and delectable, quality, beautifully plated food. The value was great for what we got too, which you don't always get from similar restaurants. The everything crusted ahi, avocado crab tuna stack and salmon with squid ink pasta are all as good as advertised. Drinks were refreshing and paired well with the meals. It felt like a dream! Thank you for a spectacular anniversary experience including the surprise complimentary dessert!

Yelp
Friday date night we decided to go to C Level! James was our amazing server and he was really great and super knowledgeable of the menu. We sat outside on the patio right on the water and we even got to watch a firework show that was happening on the midway! We decided to start with a Cesar salad, I ended up asking for some extra salad dressing on the side and that made it perfect. We both LOVED our main dishes and we both had plenty to take home. We had a great time overall and can't wait to return for another date night soon.

Yelp
My husband and I came down to San Diego for a family trip, and wanted to do a happy hour on the water. I had bookmarked this restaurant, and then when I asked my friend who's local if she had any recommendations, she immediately said C Level. We had a few cocktails, calamari, potstickers, Brie appetizer and then finished with the lobster bisque and French onion soups. Everything from the service to the view to the food and drinks were absolutely beyond! We had the best time and would recommend them for an amazing meal with a view!

Yelp
Came for lunch. Service- Friendly and attentive. The Place- Sat in the semi outdoor section right next to the water and loved the view. Food- 1) Crispy artichoke fritters with a parmesan lemon caper aioli. Amazing!!! A must have. 2) Lobster & Fontina BLT- Very good and I would get it again. 3) Ahi, crab and avocado stack- Good and I would get it again.

Yelp
I recently dined at C Level Restaurant in San Diego, and it was an outstanding experience! I highly recommend making reservations, as this place is popular for good reason. The food was absolutely the best I've had for the price--every dollar spent was worth it! The staff was incredibly friendly, adding to the already wonderful atmosphere. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for a girls' day out or a romantic date night. It truly sets the mood and gives off all the right vibes. The lobster BLT left me speechless; it was that good! The blackened fish tacos were bursting with flavor, and the seafood pasta was simply overwhelming in its deliciousness. I can't wait to return, as C Level has definitely made it onto my list for future date nights. If you're looking for quality food at quality prices with a stunning view, this is the place to be!

Yelp
Lovely day and meal. $150 with tip with three for lunch ain't cheap, but the food was amazing and Ricardo our server was top shelf. We had the burger, the chicken picatta and the skirt steak salad as well as the artichoke fritters for a starter. Amazing is what comes to mind. All three dishes were of the best in class variety. Seriously. The atmos was amazing. We sat on the patio (lots of shade) and it was beautiful. Each meal seems to be made by a shed that cared. Theyvloooed great, tasted better and I have no does what else you would want from such an experience. You will pay for I though. Expect to pay $50 a person without alcohol. It's a great place.

Yelp
Always my favorite dinner out in San Diego. We waited for our seaside table, and ordered a bottle of wine since the French flights were no longer available. Bummer! But the French Rose was still sublime, so light and easy to sip from start to finish. Our appetizers of French onion soup and pot stickers were something familiar and also something new. Delicious! Next we had our long-awaited Lobster Mac and BLT. The ambiance is always beautiful and we always dress the part as well. See you next year!

Yelp
The location of this restaurant was immaculate. The view of the San Diego harbor and the Pacific Ocean was spectacular! To impress any out of town guest or family members please bring them here. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. The staff had amazing customer service. The food was delicious, savory, flavorful and scrumptious. So happy we came here. I'll be back for date night. Great job Team C-Level . The parking is ok, if non please valet. If it's busy and you have to wait to get in walk around the boardwalk and take pics.

Yelp
Went here for a bachelorette party dinner because of the lovely view near the ocean. We had a reservation so we were able to seat immediately. The view for the dinner was amazing and felt very breezy. We ordered a couple of dishes to share among the girls. Calamari: 4/5 crispy with sweet chili sauce, wish the portion was a little bigger Oysters: 5/5 really fresh and love the sauces that came with it. Fish and chips: 4/5 can't go wrong with this Seafood Pappardelle pasta: 5/5 Everyone's favorite dish and pasta was cooked to al dente. The sauce was creamy and not too heavy. Ahi Tuna Poke: simple dish but fresh Service was friendly and there was plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Yelp
Came to C-level for lunch on my birthday. We didn't have a reservation and the wait for a table outside was an hour and a half! We opted for a table inside (that still had a great water view) and were seated in less than ten minutes. Outside is definitely preferred, so I'd recommend a reservation if possible. The restaurant has an amazing view of the city skyline and the bay. Drinks: I had the strawberry farms and my husband had the Mai Thai. The strawberry drink was strong and not too sweet. Food: we started with the calamari, which was fresh, not too greasy and came with a chili oil dipping sauce. For entrees, I got the ahi tuna and salmon poke bowl and my husband got the fish and chips. We enjoyed both dishes and the fish was all very fresh tasting. The Parmesan fries were delicious! Service: No issues with the service. Food came out reasonably quickly.

Yelp
As someone who isn't too fond of American food at restaurants, wow. WOW. C Level's food astounds me. I've only had the opportunity to visit twice but both times, every item I've gotten was amazing and a complete surprise to someone who rarely thinks upscale American classics are worth the price. In detail: - retro island prime mud pie: this is the sole reason I came back tbh (after 5 bites, I'm kinda sick and dizzy with sugar/caffeine and I can feel my blood clogging my arteries but it's so worth it - if they could offer a kid size or a smaller portion I think I'd make the 2 hr drive way too frequently so in hindsight maybe it's good that they don't...) - herb crusted salmon: I actually dislike cooked salmon so you could say this changed my life (at least the part where I thought I disliked cooked salmon). Salmon is cooked beautifully and the crust is the perfect additional of texture and flavor without the typical salt overload of most restaurant fish crusts. The lemon beurre blanc omg so good. - ahi crab and avocado stack: Not only is the plating gorgeous, the ahi is super fresh and somehow once again perfectly seasoned without making it salty. The only restaurant ahi avocado duo I like. - lobster mac n cheese: Now this. Must get. I dream about liking mac and cheese because it always looks so good but I never like it. This is a personal thing because I don't like cheese like that lol so it's either always too bland or too cheesy. But this is so good??? I don't know what they put into it but it's so addicting I love it. - lobster and fontina BLT lobster bisque: Another item that I typically dislike because the ratio of crab to lobster is usually 80:20 and the mixture makes the bread so soggy. But C level executes it well. Still not my favorite dish but it's high quality and the lobster bisque is a great pairing. - seafood pasta: This dish didn't stand out to me but there was a good amount of seafood and the garlic pesto cream was flavorful. Honestly, the one item I didn't like was the birthday pecan pie they gifted last year oops - definitely not trying to be ungrateful but just offered as constructive criticism. It's not on their regular dessert menu anyway so maybe they already found that out. This place may not be cheap but they do reservations, they have amazing views, good service, and great food. If you're looking for somewhere to go in SD, let this be it. Writing this review, I'm dreaming of returning sigh. Soon..

Yelp
Harbor island is my favorite lookout spot of the city so the view alone from this restaurant is a huge bonus! I went on a Friday night so I understand it was pretty busy but it did feel like our server did not give us much attention and we had to ask multiple servers for help. The food was also decent but pretty affordable for a semi fine dining experience. Ceviche: we were a little disappointed that the ceviche only had shrimp and not any fish but it was still tasty. I probably wouldn't get it again Sesame crusted Brie: best dish of our night in my opinion! I looove Brie and this was just perfectly done. I would agree with other reviews about this dish that say the toasted bread that comes with it comes kind of soggy. Seared Ahi tuna: this was the second favorite dish of the night. It was flavorful and fresh, especially with the mango salsa it comes with. I also really enjoyed the taste and texture of the black rice.

Yelp
Relaxed, romantic date night spot. You can see the view of the city's skyline lined up perfectly across the sea. We opted to sit in the patio area as summer nights are nice. French Onion Soup- savory, light and just right. Gruyere cheese was crisp to perfection. Ahi, Crab & Avocado Stack- had just the right amount of sweetness from mango and ahi was seasoned well. Taro and plantain chips were thinly sliced and crispy. Avocado added creamy and fattiness to melt everything together. Seafood Pasta- was great, pasta came out al dente. Sauce was creamy and tangy. Mussels, scallop and shrimp was fresh and cooked well. None of the seafood was over cooked.

Yelp
Incredible service, food, and ambiance! Can't say anymore. Thanks to Miranda who added that special touch with the jalapenos, salsa vede and green sauce to complement the dishes. Had a great time, awesome views of the beautiful city. Thanks guys ... highly recommend it if you want a good culinary experience and ambiance. Credit all goes to Management, so thank you Michael and Natassia! You are awesome Natassia, for taking the time to visit us at the table and hear our compliments!

Great location, lots of parking, amazing view. We were going to sit inside but the host recommended the patio since it was our first time. Meant to be, because there was a table right on the water for us! Mindy was great. Super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Calamari -- 4/5 * Nice serving size * Light and crispy breading * Includes tentacles as well which I love Mussels -- 5/5 * Our favorite out of everything * Sight smokey flavor * Creamy * Bread was stale and hard * So good, we ordered more Brie -- 3.5/5 * Not really a cheese person but I enjoyed it * The sauce pairs really well * Satisfying breaking the crust * Bread was stale and hard Lobster Mac&Cheese -- 2/5 * Thought we'd love this because it was highly loved on yelp, but it wasn't a hit for us * Super Oily * Lobster was fishy and didn't taste fresh * They did offer to separate one order into two for us which was nice At the end, they took our plates back to pack to-go. We had almost a full order of mussels which is at least 7-8 shells. When we got home, we had a tiny container with about 3 shells in it. Not sure if they didn't put it all in just to be able to fit it into one container but it was disappointing because we were looking forward to eating it later. (see photo) Overall, it was a good, smooth experience.

Yelp
This place has the beautiful ambience, and wonderfully delicious food. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu is quite large so a good amount of selection for everyone. Lots of options for vegetarians and pescatarian diets.

Yelp
***Reservation Recommended, Great Ambiance, Delicious Food*** Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. By the time I got to my meal I was stuffed! Overall great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation.

Yelp
I made reservations for early afternoon on a Friday and requested to be seated with the ocean view. Needless to say, they were able to get me seated where I wanted! Everything was great, no complaints. Food and drinks, really good. I recommend and I would go back!

Yelp
If you're looking for a dining experience where the ocean views might just steal your soul (or at least your Instagram followers), this spot is the one. The panoramic water vibes? Out. Of. This. World. We're talking "pinch me, am I on vacation?" levels of stunning. You might even forget you're here for the food--until it arrives. The dishes? Oh, they're good. Like "worth-every-penny-even-if-it's-not-just-a-penny" good. Yes, it's a touch on the pricey side, but honestly, when the food hits and the ocean is doing its thing, you're not gonna care. It's like eating in a screensaver, but better. Service? Super nice, super chill, and somehow they don't even look annoyed when you ask for a group photo with the ocean backdrop. Bonus: They've got happy hour! So you can sip your discounted cocktail, stare out at the waves, and feel like you've truly made it in life--even if you're faking it till you make it.

Yelp
08/14/24 - I haven't been here in a while but ended up coming here for a surprise birthday lunch. Weather was perfect and we were seated at a great table. The staff here is very personable and friendly and we got seated right away. It is better to have a reservation but wouldn't hurt to just walk in too. We got there for our 11:45 timeslot and it was busy but not that much. We ordered the following: * ceviche verde - very clean and refreshing. The chips that came with it was also fresh and crisp. This was so good. *ahi tuna and salmon poke - the fish was so fresh and didn't have that fishy taste or smell. * Everything crusted ahi - my friend had this and he had me try it. IT WAS SOO GOOD. This will be one of my faves for real. THe ahi tuna was perfectly seared and prepared. They also came out and gave me a strawberry creme cake with a candle to blow. This cake was to die for. Fresh strawberries were used and the cream was not too sweet. Highly recommend this place. They also have a great happy hour from 3:30 - 5:30pm.

Yelp
What a beautiful place (combined with some perfect weather) to have dinner and watch the sunset over the city! We made a reservation and parked onsite - everything was very easy for a Friday night. The dress was cocktail attire for the most part with some bay party vibes mixed in. Everyone there was nice and the food was speedy! I loved my drink (the garden cooler) as it was refreshing but still also a little sweet. The lobster bisque is a must! Finally, had the app muscle pot as a main course and I STILL couldn't finish it all - great portion size. Would recommend!

Yelp
This was my first time at C Level! I came here for a little birthday lunch for a friend, and I had a good experience! But first the parking was a headache. But I guess it always is when you're downtown. They have a valet, but the line was so backed up it took forever to actually get in. There was also a free lot outside, if you don't mind the walk. We had a reservation, so we were immediately seated outside on the patio deck. They gave us a beautiful table near the ocean...we were all very thankful! This restaurant has a prime location! However, I have to admit that the heat was killing us. It was an especially hot and sunny day, but there were no fans on where we sat. I didn't feel a breeze either, so it became rather uncomfortable as our dining experience progressed. In terms of the food, we shared the crispy artichoke fritters, ceviche verde, chicken potstickers, and Thai chicken salad. In my opinion, artichoke fritters were alright; they were lightly battered, but all I could taste was the batter/oil. I didn't try the ceviche, but my friends liked it. The chicken potstickers were pretty good, though it's hard to mess up on those. The Thai chicken salad was probably the most "special" dish we ordered. I enjoyed the crispy fried wontons, and the sesame chicken. The sauce was flavorful but added a tad overzealously. If I had to do it again, I would order the sauce on the side. The food was not outstanding, so I find it difficult to justify the price. You're really paying for the seaside views and ambiance, not the food. However, the saving grace of this restaurant has to be the service. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly thoughtful! Not only were we seated right away, but the staff kindly waited for us as our final friend arrived. Our waiter was very attentive and constantly checked up on us. He also surprised the birthday girl with a slice of cake! (This was the best thing I had there. It was so moist!) The valet workers were also courteous and understanding when we lost our valet ticket! Overall, C Level was okay. I don't think I'd go back here, unless it was for the seaside ambiance. However, the incredible staff brings the rating up to a 4!

Yelp
Absolutely incredible experience at C Level. We were on a tight timeline as we had a flight coming up, but this restaurant is close to the airport so we decided to give it a shot. We walked in and asked if it would be possible to dine. We were seated at a table with a stunningly beautiful view! Our server was so kind and attentive. She really made us feel welcome and offered great recommendations. I had the steak salad and it is easily one of the best salads I've ever had. There was a very generous portion of steak which was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. Everything on the salad complimented each other, I was truly impressed. My partner had the wagyu burger which I tried a bite of. The burger was flavorful and the fries were perfectly crisp. I forgot to take photos of the food because once it arrived we were so excited about it. We wished we weren't on a time crunch, but our server was so kind to bring us the check while we ate and made sure any leftovers were boxed up right away so that we could leave as soon as we were done eating. We really appreciated that. We will absolutely be back when we're in the area again! Truly a wonderful establishment.

Yelp
Had an early dinner/late lunch here while visiting. We made reservations but it wasn't very busy. They have outdoor on a nice covered patio, it looked like and indoor seating. We sat indoor next to the huge windows overlooking the ocean. Bernadette was our waitress and she was awesome, we were well attended to and she always had perfect timing. I had a shrimp cocktail and the shrimp were huge, cocktail sauce perfect amount of spicy. The French onion soup really hit the spot too, yum. My husband got the French dip sandwich and ate every bite, so safe to say that was a hit as well! We topped it off with the most delicious mud pie! We were so full already, but no regrets eating that pie! Would definitely come back!

Yelp
First of all the ambience, and the view are beautiful and even more than that delicious! I think it should be Deborah? Not sure, but whoever the chef is is fabulous! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Parking: big lot Came Saturday 12 pm and there was no wait. Huge restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Great view by the water as well!! Super friendly staff that gave recommendations and food came out quick. Everything was super tasty and there wasn't a dish i didn't like. On the pricier side, but i'd come back for a date night or for a special occasion. Prices: Ordered calamari, 6 oysters, seafood pasta, everything crusted ahi, creme brulee, white wine glass, nonalcoholic bev & it came out to $181 not including tip.

Yelp
C Level is definitely a high-end, classy restaurant with such an amazing view of the water. We came here without a reservation, and waited for about 45 minutes for a table of 4! Service was fine, nothing too special. We ordered a variety of their dishes, and my favorite has to be the seafood platter. Their salmon, shrimp, and ahi tuna stack was delicious. The salmon was light, shrimp well seasoned, and ahi tuna stack was super creamy and paired well with the taro chips. The lobster bisque was also very creamy and rich. My sister enjoyed her poke and was able to eat the very generous portion. Calamari was crispy and had a great tangy dipping sauce. Lastly, the steak was cooked to perfection and the salad was dressed well, though I personally preferred a little less. Overall, this restaurant has immaculate views with great food.

Yelp
We visited for a birthday celebration with reservations at 5:45 PM, intending to arrive early for happy hour. Although we arrived at 5:34 PM, the host wouldn't allow us to partake in happy hour, but it wasn't a major issue. The atmosphere was incredible, featuring gorgeous views. The food was decent, though not exceptional. I might return to experience the happy hour menu and enjoy the beautiful views again.

Yelp
Beautiful city and ocean views with delicious seafood! We got the poke bowl which was very well served with tons of tuna and salmon. We also got the lobster BLT which is stuffed with a ton of seafood and a small side of lobster bisque. I would definitely get the lobster BLT again next time and order a whole bowl of the lobster bisque. It was amazing! Service was excellent, our waiter always checked in to make sure everything was good. It's a pretty popular restaurant, so I would recommend making a reservation and requesting to sit on the patio. There is also a huge lot out front with tons of free parking.

Yelp
Met for a business lunch after a very successful customer meeting where we nailed some great new orders well into 2025. Time to eat some good food to celebrate. Since it was a business lunch, I did not take any pictures of the food, only the great view we had looking off of the patio. I ordered the C-Level Louie Salad. Blue crab, rock shrimp, butter lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, cucumber, egg, capers, thousand island dressing. I asked for the dressing on the side so I could monitor the amount used instead of just being flooded with dressing which happens a lot and I dislike strongly. We all got our meals and everyone was impressed with the presentations, the amount of food and how everything tasted. My salad was excellent and I would order again when I return. It is not the traditional Crab Louie salad, but a nice variation that is their own. Get it. Very good. I likey. Service was 5 star and beyond the main server, every person we dealt with was just awesome. Friendly, accommodating, responsive. Go. Eat Well. HAVE FUN!!!

Yelp
It was a very disappointing experience. The view was amazing but our thanksgiving pre-fixed food was very underwhelming. The turkey was ok, but the seabass was very overcooked and too salty. Desserts were dry. The only food we liked was the pumpkin soup and the pumpkin espresso martini. Maybe their regular menu is different?

Yelp
Really delicious stop for lunch. Beautiful out door seating area with lots of shade right on the water. We ordered the tuna crab stack and the Thai chicken salad. Both items were perfect. Would recommend!

Yelp
Ambiance is great, even more amazing if you are lucky to be seated right next to the amazing view. Perfect for a date or to show off to business partners. Service was good, we came during restaurant week and ultimately chose to order a la carts because most of what we wanted was not on the restaurant week menu. Food: 1. Fish and chips: 5/5 - delicious, crispy, and would get again 2. Shrimp Aguachile: 3/5 - could use more flavor - Shrimp was over cooked TLDR: an amazing date spot with great fish & chips

Yelp
I was lucky to get a table for two late on Saturday night. Great food, attentive service, and beautiful views of the water and downtown San Diego. Highly recommend C Level for all seafood lovers!
