Our first time coming in to have lunch at this taco truck. We googled reviews and people kept saying food is delicious. In all honesty our hoagies ripped when we picked it up to eat. The bread was stale and old, that it tasted funny, but also smelled like it was growing mold. The meat was not seasoned, so our pallets were not happy. We do not recommend this food truck at all. It was 12 in the afternoon and we should have known better to have stopped when there was no one eating there. We were the only customers. We also couldn’t understand the man taking our order, for he was soft spoken. The price we paid was literally a waste of our money.

We first tried this place a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. They've gone downhill in a bad way. It's insane that this place charges so much for such bad quality. $20 for a torta with cheese so burnt it was black and hard as a rock. Disgusting. I also asked for no onions because I have a mild allergy to raw onions. It was full of them and I had to pick them out one by one, but it didn't matter after all because the burnt cheese made it inedible. Asked for no onions on the birria plate, they included them. What's the point of allowing customization if you're not going to follow it? Rice? Bland. Elote? Not good. Ordered and paid for the Buffalo chicken egg roll, but they didn't include it, so I think they no longer offer it they're just too lazy to remove it off the menu as this is the second time I've tried to order it and not gotten it. So now I have to fight DoorDash for a refund for an item I did not receive. If I could I'd have the whole order refunded because most of it ended up in the trash. There are too many food trucks offering better birria and better service for less $$$, for this place to be serving the poor quality they are.

Don’t understand the reviews but the birria tacos were so underwhelming and the meat and consomé lacked flavor. Not sure if it was the usual people working there however, but not a spot I would come back to.

Really enjoyed my food from here, it was so good that I ate it before I got a picture. I ordered the birria tacos plate and a can coke. The service was great and the food was so good, I ended up ordering another birria taco and a side of rice lol! My family and I will definitely keep coming back 🤗

First time here and service and food were exceptional! I had a birria taco just to see what the hype was all about. I soon found out! Ordered a birria plate to go. You will not be disappointed. The guys are so nice too

This place is a 10/10 and has some of the top Birria tacos in Austin! The consome is robust and flavorful. Order flautas, and the Santiago with Bistek. Ramen was also perfect for a rainy day. Generous portions of meat in every dish. This is a family owned business run by Santos, his wife, and two children. Their space is clean, they work hard and fast. They are personable and passionate about their food and creating new dishes all the time. Whatever you want, they will make it happen! GET THE CHURROS TOO! They are the best I’ve had so far in Austin. I am so happy with my experience here and the quality food. Affordable prices and I will be coming back! Thank you Santos for your hospitality!

First Time Trying this place & we loved it! The Birra Taco Plate was so delicious & customer service was absolutely amazing!!! This place works quickly to get orders out & they're all so nice! I'm not gonna lie it took me a bit to finally come to try them out because the prices are little high on some meals BUT.. After seeing the servings & the amazing taste of the meals i totally know the prices are well worth it because it's extremely good!!! If you haven't tried this place yet than you're truly missing out on wonderful authentic food! We look forward to going back again very soon! ☺🌮🤤💖

I thought it was okay when I arrived on windy afternoon. The rice and beans were solid as a side with fresh onions and cilantro. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The Birria and consume didn't have much flavor which I think was overshadowed a lot by the amount of cheese and that took away from the overall place. I would go back to try something else on their menu.

Extremely cheesy birria tacos... Alright these tacos are tasty, they are quite heavy because of the amount of cheese and the almost fried like shells. The cheese was melty and rubbery. I ordered two and was able to finish only one. My biggest concern is the hygiene of the seating. They dont have napkins ready on the table, and the tables arent cleaned after previous guests - and you know birria tacos can be a messy business. There is a Nepali food truck right next to it as well.

Why, oh why, do I love tacos?! Because it is one of the most impactful and creative inventions in the culinary arts, that's why. I just had my first taco de Birria ever and I'm sold. This crispy corn tortilla folded over stewed meats and gobs of melted cheese, with strips of raw cabbage, fresh lime juice, chopped sweet onion, cilantro, coupled with a fresh green sauce AND a dipping sauce... whew. Every mouthful uniquely different and heavenly. This little food truck is instantly on my "Delicious Austin" map. Don't miss it. And leave a big tip for the kid's college fund. Plenty of parking at lunchtime on this weekday, too.

no flavor at all !!!! It's more spot out there I wouldn't choose this place. Do not get nachos from there not good at all .

But this must be because of the recent move because they claim to have the best birria in ATX and THEY DELIVERED!! Omg I can't stop thinking about it. I didn't answer my phone. I didn't watch TV. I didn't even get a drink. Like seriously, there is nothing more important than eating these birria tacos. I got 3 tacos and 2 flautas for $14 (came with consomé AND lots of salsa verde). I loved the crisp on the flautas and the tacos were divine. The consomé and salsa combo sent me to heaven and back. I will definitely be back many many times. Also, the lovely boy taking orders was so great! Support them! Gorge yourself on birria in all its forms! You MUST try this place.

Well. I'm impressed. Found this as a nearby place to eat on the app, and boy did the guys live up to their 5 star ratings. Firstly, it was so convenient to just walk up to the truck and order. The site had ample seating to enjoy your meal which was nice. My order was taken quickly and I could hear the grill crackling with deliciousness as I waited for my order. Within minutes my order of chicken quesadillas and elote was wrapped and ready to go. I wasn't aware that my quesadillas could feed a small army! The corn was creamy and spicy--so so good. I would definitely like to try this place again. Two thumbs up!

Wow. That is the only way to truly explain this place. These are the best tacos and quesadillas I've ever had, hands down. And for those of you that say there are better taco places, you're wrong. This birria is so tender and juicy, and you can tell it's made right. They also use queso fresco in the tacos and quesadillas so it's even better. The consomme is fatty and delicious and the beans and rice are the perfect side. To top it off, the little man working the register is better and has better customer service than 99% of people out there. This place will become a staple in my diet, at least until I have a heart attack and die. But if it's the way I die, I will die happy.

Place is a little hard to find relying on Apple Maps..so to help ease that it's located at the corner of E Cesar Chavez & Anthony St ducked off behind the Upscale Market. When we walked up we were greeted by a handsome young cat that had more sense of customer service than most adults I've encountered when dining out, he gladly and politely answered the questions we had about the menu and confirmed when unsure. Got the Mother Cluckin' taco and it was love at first bite..second and third too. My other half had the Pollita and her sentiments were the same. Before pulling off went back to order a second round of each. The birria was def amongst the best I've had..it was juicy and flavorful but not overly soaked if that makes sense. Def some of the best tacos I've had as of late so I will most definitely return anytime I'm in the area, actually sad it's so far from home.

Love this place. Buffalo Chicken Cheese Fries were generously portioned. They're just as good as they look in my pic. Chicken Burrito was huge - probably gonna get 3 meals out of mine. Rice, beans, cheese, fries, grilled peppers, fajita chicken - perfection. The prices are fair considering the portions, you'll likely have leftovers. Can't wait to try other things on the menu!!

Absolutely love coming to eat here for Birria tacos and other Birria items. It's a mouthwatering mouthgasmic experience. If you have not tried Birria tacos, this is a must come and try Place.

Once again a slammin good visit to Love C Spot...Grandkid in tow we went with the Birria Pizza and Man that thing was huge...packed full of meat, crunchy on the outside...I over indulged as usual with zero leftovers...Along with a great Elote with Hot Cheetos...So Good!...BIG NEWS FOR LOVE C SPOT!!!...Indoor dining coming soon...Beat that Texas heat with some Tacos and TV...So excited for them...and US!!

Meh. Not much flavor and the tacos had a mushy sad texture. The price is way too much for the quality and taste of the food. We had the 3 Biriria tacos and a quesadilla, a couple drinks = $50 We just can't love c spot so -never again.

Tried this food truck the first day we moved to Austin, Texas. It did not disappoint and still to this day almost 2 years later it has never disappointed us. The employees are so welcoming and you can really tell the food is made with love. Service is amazing and food is fresh. The owner is there quite a bit and she is just as awesome as the food is. Best birria in Texas.

Just went there with my son. I think these are the BEST tacos and quesadillas in Austin . The service was fantastic. The young man that took our order so polite. We got two Burria tacos and the Burria quesadilla platter with rice and beans. Everything was SO DELICIOUS. So cheesy!!! We dipped the tacos and quesadillas in the consommé. To die for!!! We even had left overs. I highly recommend checking this food truck out.There are a few picnic tables to eat there. You will not be disappointed. Bring extra napkins as they are very juicy I WILL BE BACK. Hopefully next time they will have the Chatas as the picture looked amazing

Discovered this spot due to a cousin giving a review. Really wish the fajitas were chicken breast instead of thighs. I will say the aqua fresca I had was so good but it wasn't consistent one day I got a chamoy straw the next time I didn't not sure why. Also I ordered the chalupas and specifically requested no onion and cilantro got all the way home and it was packed with both of those things I had to pick it out. I also don't like that you have to pay with venmo/cash app there is no protection if something goes wrong with a charge. I will say I really do see more pros than cons for this place and I am glad I went to try it out. Most of the time I don't enjoy elote in a cup but this has flavor I wish it had less "greasy-ness" but totally get it because I'm sure it was in butter. I will definitely continue to go here.

Portions are massive! Can definitely share. Food is great. Very nice workers too. A cute outdoor food truck with picnic tables and fans. Can also go in the super mart to eat at their tables. Go!!!

They got the food to us fast, and the portions were nothing short of generous. Try the Santiago Plate. They were some of the best tacos I've ever had.

My Mom and I wanted to try out a new spot to us on the East side! The taste is like the old East Austin restaurants. What a great food truck! The Birria Queso Tacos are delicious!!! Rice and beans are delicious as well. Great service! Staff very helpful! I will be back!!!

Excelrnt Birria and strong consommé. Green sauce is the bomb. Kid running to window was sweet and fast. They were out of something I wanted( no biggie) and he fave me my tacos free! Wasn't expecting that! They are excellent! G throw your money at them!!

Dont miss the quality food truck behind the Upscale Market. It is obvious that these folx really care about their customers. The order guy is young, but don't worry, he is a pro and will take care of you! Food comes fast and is top quality. Birria is top notch and rice is a standout. I bet everything that come out of this truck is just as good because the love factor is there. Dont miss the covered areas on the side and front of market that are available for seating.

Cute little spot on Cesar Chavez! I got some birria tacos and they were amazing, the consomé was so good too! My friend got the birria burrito and she loved it as well.

Birria worth coming back for! We tried the birria quesadilla and were satisfied. The consome was not the most flavorful but overall, it's a birria I can get down with (so many are just plain awful). We'll be back for sure.

I just needed a water and they didn't change me 3 dollars for a bottle. I enjoy these kinds of snacks but I wasn't hungry I'll have to go back soon. The service is nice but the surrounding area is off putting for my first time going. Let's just say I felt brave.

Delicious, quick, high quality, so thoughtful. Got a huge order for the whole family- Elotes, High Flyer Fries, C Box, Agua Frescas, Crunchwrap, Flautas, Ground Zero tacos, and more. Everything was amazing, not a thing disappointed. The birria is so tender, the flautas were perfectly crunchy and the quesadillas were packed with flavor and gooey cheese. The High Flyer Fries were a surprise showstopper- amazing meat and pepper goodness, the C sauce has a perfect flavor and spice level. I believe it was the owner who talked to us about swapping an unavailable chata for agua frescas, she was so nice and made sure we picked the yummiest drinks. The Goddess fresca is refreshing, fruity, flavorful, and fantastic. You can't go wrong here, order what looks good and dig in.

Great food and excellent service! I was visiting Austin and this taco truck was right by our Airbnb. We decided to stop by for an afternoon snack and they did not disappoint! The borrow taco was delicious. The buffalo chicken egg roll was flavorful and you could tell they make them fresh in-house. We ended up eating here 3 more times during our visit and bringing some to our friends before we met up for drinks in the area. They have a few picnic tables where you can stop and eat. Just in case you can't wait to dig in. The family that runs this business is so lovely. Their son works the front and he is incredibly professional for such a young age. All tips go toward him and his sister's college fund. If you're in Austin, make your way over and support this wonderful family-owned business!

I've been on the hunt since I moved to Austin in April last year, and C Spot is by far my favorite Birria in the city. The Birria burrito is a genius creation, fill with Birria meat, rice, beans, cheese, onions and PAPAS, all with a side of consomé. Absolutely blissful comfort food. The family who owns it is always so welcoming and you can tell they put a ton of love into their craft. Food always comes out quick and they have a nice inside waiting area. Looking forward to trying everything else on the menu, if I can ever convince myself to skip the burrito.

Food is Amazing hands down some of the best birria. Downside no one ever answers the phone and you will drive there and they may or may not be open .

We were in Austin for the night and found this place on yelp! Place is 10/10! Service was great and the quality was amazing! Food was fantastic. What's not pictured is the birria egg rolls because its the first thing we tried before leaving the parking lot!

Omg sooo frickin good! Ever since the birria food truck I used to frequent moved back to Houston, I've been trying to find a replacement. Safe to say I found it. I ordered the C Box for my twins and I and we slammed. Everything in it was good, even the beans and rice. The salsa was perfect too. It was packed up very nicely as well. The customer service was outstanding as well, very nice and polite. We will most definitely be coming back! This is a must try!!!!!

Seen the pictures and just had to try...so looking for it and it's kind of hidden like a gem...so I decided to try the Birria pizza and also the Birria plate and burrito...just like all the pictures and comments it was really good. We had C spot for dinner on Friday and we were SO impressed by how delicious this place is! You can feel the love, and effort they put into into their food in each bite!also the portions are very generous. Their aguas frescas are to die for as well, I tried the Oh My Goddess wich is watermelon and piña and I highly recommend it. Bravo and Thank You!

Was visiting from Fort Worth and couldn't find a quesabirria taco spot that was open. We stumbled upon C Spot by accident and so glad we did! I believe it's family owned and they were so very welcoming and kind. The food came out quickly and was so hot and fresh. The next time we're in Austin, we'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend.

Great service! Was a little nervous at first but the food was amazing!!!! We were visiting from DFW and we're struggling to find a birria stop and this place went over our expectations!! 12/10! can't wait for another trip to Austin because we will be coming back!

We recently moved from Cali and my fiancé and I have struggled to find some authentic birria tacos with consume in Austin. We are so happy we found I Love C Spot! Authentic taste, large portions, yummy salsa, everything we tried was spot on! I would definitely recommend!

This place is everything you're looking for. Family owned and that good homemade meal you're looking for. It just has that special taste to everything that you can't find everywhere. It's soooo good I'm so grateful for the hot new spot!
