Always fun exploring new restaurants and happen to find Ca Del Sole. Everything was great, from the ambiance sitting in their outdoor patio, the attentive service and of course the food. Portions are great for sharing and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Want to come back with a bigger group to try even more dishes!

We enjoyed dinner here. The food and service were excellent. Best Italian food I have had since returning from Italy in the spring. The atmosphere was distinguished and I would recommend that the “casual dress” suggested by open table is a little too relaxed. It isn’t dressy by any stretch but business casual would be more appropriate.

Had a celebratory dinner here and was so sooo pleased with the overall experience!! The food and ambiance were excellent!

I really like this place! Parking attendant 👍🏻 The waiters are just super! They can recommend a dish and offer something new! The food is delicious and fresh, the bread before the meal is also delicious! It always gives me great pleasure to come here and have lunch with my husband! Thank you 🫶🏻

Beautiful outdoor garden that creates a cozy but intimate atmosphere. The service was great as well as the food. We had great wine as well. It wasn’t even that expensive considering the whole experience. One thing I find funny is mandatory valet parking (7$) when the parking is not really that big, so it seems unnecessary. But otherwise, we had a great time!

I've not been here for many years but it's still the really nice place I remember. Very nice, friendly, attentive staff. Great menu with a lot of great dishes. Great food. Great ambiance both inside and outside. Good valet parking to handle the volume of cars. Great location near Universal City. Looking forward coming back to LA and eating here again.

Hearty and yummy. The bread and olive oil dip that came with dining in was tasty. I think I had one too many and by the time I got to my pasta, I was too full. The calamari/seafood appetizer was good but could honestly pass on it. My seafood pasta was tasty and very hearty. Just come hungry.

Ca Del Sole is my go-to when I want delicious home cooked pasta in a charming, kinda romantic (?), but cozy atmosphere. Some of my favorites from here are: Fritto Misto Di Gamberoni, Calamari E Zucchine: great starter! Fried tortellini's, shrimp, calamari and veggies with delicious marinara to dip. A solid choice for the table. Minestrone Di Verdure: delicious broth and vegetables, perfect for a cold day. Ravioli Di Manzo Al Burro Chiarificato E Parmigiano: short rib ravioli melts in your mouth, with ricotta and spinach - this is an excellent choice! Rigatoni Alla Buttera: my favorite and a repeat order! The sausage is beautifully spiced, the rigatoni the perfect al dente and the pink sauce is creamy and delicious.

8 of us came here before heading to the Hollywood Bowl, parking where we get on the shuttle to the Bowl. We had never been here before but it was recommended based upon location. My wife and I split angel hair pasta and boneless chicken each of us having both and we both liked both meals. Mario was a good server and as usual most everyone asked for something like dairy to be deleted from the order, and Mario and company were all good at taking care of our needs. We got there when it opened at 5 and were in and out by 6 to be able to cross the street and get the shuttle to the Bowl. Everyone enjoyed their food and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good Italian lunch or dinner in the NoHo area.

Ca Del Sole is sophisticated, classy, comfortable, and cozy. I made a dinner reservation on their website and the hostess called in the afternoon to confirm. They only have valet parking onsite and there was no wait when we arrived 30 minutes early. Takako was our waitress and very gracious while tending to our party. The staff all checked on us several times during the visit. We ordered Tartar Di Tonno e Limoni Canditi, Pappardelle Con Ragout Di Agnello e Pistacchi, and Tagliatelle Con Funghi e Zucca Barruca. The Tuna Tartare is some of the best I've had because it had candied lemon and avocado. The Pappardelle and Tagliatelle were both delicate and delicious. The menu is fairly large and they have their $6 after 6 PM happy hour in the bar only.

Great food & ambiance this place is definitely worth trying out if you like Italian food! Food: very large menu selection with a wide variety of items to choose from. I also liked that they had exclusive day specials that all looked very tasty may I add. I ended up ordering the lasagna along with their calamari dish. The lasagna was good but I personally wouldn't order again as it was a bit on the rich side. The calamari on the other hand I'd order a million times over! I love that it came out with not just calamari but shrimp & other tasty veggies & then to top it off the dipping sauces were on another level of good & flavorful. They give you a huge portion of this as well so honestly by the time my lasagna came I was already full. Seriously, don't leave here without ordering this dish. They also give you complimentary bread which was so delicious & fresh tasting I could have eaten that all night. Service was very friendly & attentive. My table was constantly being checked on & the food came out super fast. The restaurant itself has a very cozy feel & I love that in one of the rooms there's a fireplace! This location does offer both indoor & outdoor seating as well. For parking I recommend using their valet as street parking looks impossible I personally wouldn't chance it. Overall, great experience I'll definitely be returning n!

When you first arrive they have valet parking, they take cash or card so don't worry. Very welcoming staff and they sat us right down as soon as we arrived. It had a cozy at home feel to the overall atmosphere. We started with a couple spicy margaritas which were made well, and by well I mean just the right amount of spice and tequila, without overdoing it with margarita mix. We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for appetizers. Both were so so good. The calamari was crispy and not greasy. The bruschetta was fresh and tasty, loved every bite. We split a Caesar salad and Bigoli. The Bigoli was their seafood pasta and it was so good. Flavorful, full of seafood, and the sauce was really wonderful. We ended the night with the tortino chocolate which was flourless and had an interesting texture but was a nice rich chocolate. Overall really loved the dinner as the staff were knowledgeable of the menu and really on top of it. The food was so good and we can't wait to come back. I love places like this because it shows how places like this which may not be as famous like Giorgio Baldi can deliver a much better experience. quality always beats being over hyped popularity.

Ca Del Sole is known for their Italian seasonal specialities and raviolis. I had a delightful experience as a first timer, they typically get busy around dinner, so I reserved a spot online. I had the option to choose to sit outside or inside and their patio is so gorgeous and picturesque! I got their Ravioli Di Manzo Al Burro Chiarificato E Parmigiano, Rigatoni Alla Buttera, and Mezzelune Di Zucca Barucca. I loved the Mezzelune Di Zucca Baruccq, the pumpkin and buttery sage sauce just melts in your mouth. It was my first time having the Ravioli Di Manzo Al Burro Chiarificato E Parmigiano, but their short rib was so tender and paired well with spinach and ricotta cheese! The staff are super friendly, speedy, and gave excellent recommendations, making this the perfect place to bring guests, large groups, or a date! Pro-Tip: save time by parking in valet in front of the restaurant for $7, available street parking is rare

I hadn't been here in 10 years and was looking forward to meeting a very dear lawyer friend for lunch. The place is lovely, with a nice outdoor patio with little curtained off sections and patio tables. The inside is rather typical upscale furnishings, nice booths with tablecloths (love tablecloths) and spacious. The servers are very friendly and efficient, although I was surprised they were all hispanic and there weren't any Italian servers like the last time I was there. Now we come to the food. Ahem. What. A. Disappointment. I remembered the food as absolutely excellent, high quality, delicious, well prepared. The most I can say is this food was mediocre. I started with a very light spinach, chicken, potato soup ($12.00). It was basically a VERY light chicken broth with a few pieces of things floating in it. Then, because I wasn't very hungry, I ordered an appetizer for my second course: Fritto misto ($19.95) - fried calamari, shrimp and zucchini. There were only a few pieces of zucchini. The shrimp were tiny and not very tasty, the calamari wasn't crispy. My friend started with the arugula salad, which looked good ($16.25; I thought that was a bit much for a simple salad) and then she had a special chicken, Petto di Pollo alla Valdostana ($27.00) with harm, asparagus and mozzarella on top. I tasted it and it was okay, nothing to write home about. The chicken tasted parboiled. I hate it when they do that - cook it from scratch like you're supposed to. The only FABULOUS dish was the dessert. We ordered the strudel off the dessert menu( $12.00) and it was perfect, if a little small to share. The pastry crust was just the right texture and not too sweet, and it was filled with candied raisens, pine nuts and cooked apples in a slight cinnamony liquidy sauce. It was really good, and I have eaten strudel in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I will probably return here because the place is so nice, very near the studios, and a good middle place to meet with people who live on the East side of town. But as for the food, meh. I'll just get a salad and be there for the company, not the food. These people are from Northern Italy and I have to admit a preference for Southern Italian cooking. But nonetheless, they really could have done better.

Solid mid-upper scale atmosphere, attentive service, with typical pricing for this type of establishment. Expect to spend about $35-$60 a person after tax and tip for a basic meal and closer to $100 if you wanna do the whole appetizer, main course, desert and drink route.  I tried the  - Linguine Nere Con Salame Calabrese E Gamberi: amazing and more than just a squid ink colored gimmick dish. The seafood and spicy salami mixture played very well together. - Pappardelle Con Ragout Di Agnello e Pistacchi: very rich in a good way if thats what you are looking for, and the pasta in this one has a very handmade chew/feel. I don't know if they are actually handmade but the texture was very premium in my opinion.  The cocktails were solid but at least for me personally nothing to write home about. A nice note is that they did have cocktails that used botanical, non-alcoholic spirits which I thought was cool and did appreciate. Would want to come back for happy hour!

Ca Del Sole is one of my favorite, go-to restaurants in the Universal City area. The large space is able to easily accommodate party-sized groups, but there are also plenty of small tables for a more intimate meal -- and the interior design is such that small and large parties can dine in close proximity without the sound becoming a problem. I'd also like to add that the genuinely separate bar area (something that's rare in most restaurants nowadays) makes for a nice place to meet for drinks without a meal, or to have a round of cocktails while waiting for your table. The service here is always top notch. They have a wide variety of folks on staff, so you might be attended to by a young, lively actor-to-be or an older, dyed in the wool lifetime waiter. Either way, you'll be treated well and be able to focus on your table mates rather than worrying about your order. The food is always nicely prepared and made with the freshest ingredients. They have quite a few antipasti that we almost always order for the table: the Frito Misto with calamari & shrimp is crispy and flavorful without being greasy or heavy, the vitello tonnato is unctuous in just the right way, the carpaccio has a fresh, clean bite to it, and the assorted meats and cheese plate is always fought over. My favorite entree order is the Linguine Nere Con Salame Calabrese E Gamberi, which is a nicely al dente squid ink linguini with spicy calabrese salami and shrimp. It's finished with a light cherry tomato sauce that plays off the various seafood flavors without overpowering them. It's a large portion and I usually bring some home -- and it's VERY good when warmed up the next day. I've also enjoyed their steak (prime cuts and very well prepared), the Scottish Salmon and their Short Rib Ravioli, all very satisfying, but I keep coming back to my Linguine Nere because it's done so well here, and it's rare to find anything quite like it anywhere else in town. Yes, you'll enjoy Ca Del Sole, whether you're having dinner or treating yourselves to a top flight lunch. It's been a fixture for many years, and with very good reason.

I dined at Ca Del Sole the other night after not visiting for a few years and it did NOT disappoint! I made a 7:30 reservation for Friday night to dine with two of my friends. Parking in the area could be unpredictable so I just valeted my car. I am glad we made reservations because the restaurant was busy with many patrons and what seemed like an event. Our waitress was lovely and took great care of us. We started off with complimentary foccacia & country bread with tapenade, which was phenomenal. To drink, I had the Italiano cocktail and a glass of wine - both of which were delicious as well. For the appetizer, we had the burrata with prosciutto and arugula. A simple plate but delicious nonetheless. For my entree, I opted to try one of their specials - beef scallopini. This was my first time having that dish and it was to die for! The beef was incredibly tender and came with a flavorful sauce. What I loved most about the dish was that the potatoes and spinach sides were flavorful as well. I hate when restaurants only focus on making the protein good and don't put any effort with the sides. This was not the case! Both of my friends ordered the vodka sauce rigatoni and they were very happy with their meals as well. For dessert, we all shared the flourless chocolate cake. Again, very tasty and was a great way to finish off the meal. Ca Del Sole, thank you for remaining such an incredible restaurant after all these years! I would highly recommend dining here with friends, family, or your special someone. Either way, I'm sure the experience will not disappoint.

Goodness gracious! We always say Ca Del Sole never disappoints. We went for a birthday and ordered the tuna tartar, the short rib ravioli, the cioppino (zuppa de pesce), and the prosciutto-wrapped filet mignon with peppercorn sauce. I've had stellar steaks in Vegas, Florence, Paris, and Barcelona. This filet ranks in my all-time top 3. That sauce!! The tuna tartar was beautifully plated and a conversation piece; the cioppino was steaming and generously portioned. The only dish we wouldn't order again was the ravioli. It was tasty enough but far from the star of the night. Of course, the service was top-notch. Will be back!!

I've always loved Ca Del Sole, not just for their incredible food and inviting atmosphere, but because it holds a special place in my heart. For over a decade, this restaurant has been a go-to for luncheons with work colleagues and clients. Every time I'm in the mood for great pasta, I know I can count on them to deliver. I never imagined I'd enjoy pumpkin ravioli, but somehow they make it so good. And the pappardelle with lamb ragout? Delicious! It's one of those places that just never disappoints!!

The wife and I came here Saturday, 8/24/24. We were the first ones in when they opened. I have never been to a place where everyone from the valet, the host, our waitress, the manager, the bartender and the wait staff that was not assigned to our table said hello! That's what you call above and beyond! The food: The calamari and bread w/olive tapenade might make me give up red meat! Not gonna happen but it was the perfect starter in taste and wetting the appetite. Our entrees: The Osso Buco melted in your mouth and short rib ravioli w/the creme sauce was some of the best I have had. Drinks were great and the bartender did not skimp on the strength of our cocktails. Love that Mezcalito and wife loved her three olive martini. Our waitress was kind enough to ensure that my entree was not finished with nuts. Great place can't wait to come back!

The food was fabulous. Great service, very attentive. Food is on a single side of the menu while alcohol is on the other. The Branzino fiah dish I ordered was divine. Very fresh, perfectly cooked. Sat over baby artichoke and had a lemon base sauce over it. It was filling, delicious and I'd order it again and again. We also had a side of calamari and mushrooms as appetizer (not pictured) and they too were so good. Everything tasted fresh and they've perfected the cook in these dishes. Everyone enjoyed their dish minus one person who ordered the chicken. He said the chicken was too salty and he's usually not one to complain so I couldn't give them a 5 star because keep this. They have valet service although I think they can do without during the day - lunch time, it's not necessary.

Made a dinner reservation for a group of 4 on NYE. Prix-fixe menu. We arrived on time and valet was quick. We stepped inside and were quickly led to our table. The place was packed for NYE dinner. Carpaccio Di Manzo Cipriani-thinly sliced raw beef, arugula, parmesan cheese, mustard aioli. This was good, but a rather large starter. Spaghetti All'Aragosta-maine lobster, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, white wine, garlic, lightly spicy tomato sauce. This seemed overcooked and on the dry side. Dessert was an ice cream, but they had run out of the flavor I wanted and so I settled for vanilla. Service was efficient, but seemed a bit overwhelmed, given it was a holiday. I imagine this place is better on a non-holiday.

Came here for a work dinner. Service and food was 10/10!! HIGHLY recommend the lasagna!

I came here for a rehearsal dinner so I can't comment on the entire menu but I can share my experience. I am obsessed with the ambiance of this place. It's absolutely beautiful. We did a cocktail hour in the back of the restaurant and I had the best cosmopolitan of my life. So delicious. The bartenders were amazing. We had the sea bass, rigatoni pasta, filet, chicken piccata, Cesar salad and more. It was so much food. I was stuffed!! The wait staff was constantly checking on us and filling my drinks. I had like four Shirley temples. Can't go wrong with those. Will definitely be back for date night. Valet is $7

My spouse, two friends, and I had always wanted to try this restaurant, so we decided to meet there for a nice dinner. I had already chosen my order at home by looking at the menu, and my spouse had too. When we arrived, we opted for street parking since it seemed like valet was the only option. Finding street parking was a bit tricky, but a little walk never hurts. We were warmly greeted by several employees and seated outside on the lovely patio, which was charming with its stunning palm trees. Our waitress was fantastic, and I was particularly impressed by a staff member in a white apron who was attentively checking on guests. His helpfulness and politeness really enhanced the service. Now, about the food: I regret not taking any photos! For appetizers, we had "La Bruschetta," which was delicious. My spouse enjoyed the "Capellini Alla Checca," while one friend had the "Salmone Affumicato E Rafano," which looked wonderful and was well-received. His wife and I tried a weekly special that featured a meat and onion ragu with ziti pasta. I loved it, but my friend wasn't as impressed. Perhaps it was the presentation--plated a bit unappetizingly. The ragu had a brownish color, which might have contributed to that perception. I think the pasta should have been served separately with the ragu drizzled on top and some parsley for garnish. Still, the dish was delicious overall. The service was excellent, and the food was incredible, even for vegans. I'm definitely looking forward to going back!

This is a lovely restaurant right in the heart of Universal City. It is a upscale Italian restaurant. The service is excellent. The food is very very good. They have a great bar. It's a wonderful restaurant to come to for a special occasion. I would highly recommend it.

I haven't been to Ca Del Sole in a few years, since I worked nearby in Burbank, and it did not disappoint! This is a great place whether it's for a small group or even a larger group. The service is impeccable and the food is quite delightful. Went there today for a year-end holiday lunch and everyone left very happy. There were five of us and we shared some appetizers and salads before our entrees came. The Caesar Salad was tasty but the Calamari was amazing! Not only was it calamari but there was grilled zucchini and vegetable tortellini in the plate! The assorted meats and cheeses was really good too. While I didn't have any Bruschetta, my coworkers said it was very good. For entree I ordered the Salmon that was pan cooked with caramelized brown sugar. It was so yummy! For dessert I had my go to at an Italian restaurant, tiramisu. It melted in my mouth and was large enough to share with others! Others had the Panne Cotta which I heard was delicious and the Afogato was also tasty and a huge portion! Can't wait to bring my honey here for a nice evening out, just the two of us!

I visited a new place yesterday that I've often passed by and decided to try. We sampled various dishes, starting with their bread and olive oil, which was delicious. The tuna tartare had a sweet flavor and was incredibly fresh. Next, we had the calamari; while the tartar sauce was my favorite and the marinade was good, I wished the calamari was a bit crispier. The garlic bread was just okay, not my favorite appetizer. We tried three different pastas: gnocchi, seafood pasta, and ravioli. All were delicious, but my favorites in order were the ravioli, seafood pasta, and then the gnocchi. We finished the meal with two desserts and a cappuccino, which were all delightful.

Great Food, Great Staff (service), and Great Vibe. I enjoyed my experience there. I'm not too sure about the valet parking situation, but... whatever. I will return. Enjoy!! #jsho

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. Parked valet only $7. The ambiance was really nice and the outdoor seating was pretty. Got a bit chilly at night so I wore my jacket. Service was great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Surprised him with the complimentary birthday cake and candle. The calamari plate was good, loved the marinara type sauce! The bruschetta was ok.. He ordered the short rib ravioli and enjoyed it. I tried the pumpkin ravioli, it was good, I just don't think I love pumpkin. Meal also came with bread and oil so that was nice! Was a great place for a birthday dinner date! Would recommend

Ca Del Sole is consistently good. The outdoor dining patio was excellent long before eating outside was mandatory. It's perfect weather to relax here, with a cocktail and some delicious food. We always order some of their best dishes. Carpaccio Di Manzo Con Crema Di Parmigiano Al Tartufo thinly sliced raw beef, parmesan cheese fondue, truffle oil, chives Tartare Di Tonno E Limoni Canditi ahi tuna tartare, italian soy sauce, shallots, avocado mousse, candied lemon Linguine Nere Con Salame Calabrese E Gamberi squid ink linguini, spicy calabrese salami, shrimp, cherry tomato sauce Spaghetti Bolognese with house made pasta. Red Passion Martini Ketel One Vodka, Passion Cranberry Liquor, Splash Grand Marnier Everything is fresh, made to order and delicious. The service is helpful and can be excellent. We always enjoy visiting Ca Del Sole.

First time here, and it didn't disappoint. Ernesto was our waiter, and he was amazing!!!! The food had flavor, and you can tell it was made with love. The cucumber martini was delicious and refreshing. We did not have one bad thing. Ambiance, food, and definitely service was top notch.

I loved bring my wife and a friend with her teenage daughter to this restaurant when we were starving and worried about possibly being dressed too casual, but there was absolutely no attitude at the front when we arrived. They graciously and very kindly welcomed the 4 of us inside to a table even though it was busy and we did not have a reservation. The food was so good, I'm still thinking about the bread even, it was perfectly crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside with some pesto and my pasta was amazing. Our server was great and I can't believe I never had tried this place out before, so worth the visit and I can't wait to go back again.

Ca Del Sole is a wonderful experience! The interior ambiance is inviting and relaxing, the art pieces are thoughtfully chosen, the impression is that you are in a home to enjoy delicious food! And the food IS delicious! Delectable! Of course you are brought bread and an olive tapenade, the bread is a wonderful hearth baked artisan sourdough. We enjoyed a Burrata Con Prosciutto Di Parma E Zucca Fritta to start and the husband was very pleased with the Burratta. Husband had his Stella Artois in a chilled glass and I ordered a Ferrari Carano Chardonnay which was sublime! Then a nice Divina Di Cesare - Caesar salad. Then on to the main event, dinner! Husband had to have the Lasagna Di Carne, Omaggio A Nonna Rina which he LOVED! I had the Ravioli Di Manzo Al Burro Chiarificato E Parmigiano - short rib ravioli - which was SO GOOD! We had told our server Takako we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary and she brought us a vanilla bean gelato with raspberry syrup! It was splendid! But I wanted dessert and we shared the Tortino Di Ricotta - Ricotta Cheesecake With Wild Cherry Sauce and that was phenomenal! I have never had a cheesecake so light and creamy! The crust was the perfect flaky base to the cheese filling that was pillowy. Along with the wonderful cheesecake, husband had a Digestivi, Limoncello and I had the Giesen Sav Blanc Late Harvest which was perfect with the cheesecake! It was all so good and a wonderful experience. The restaurant itself has been renovated and expanded, trees are right in the middle of the bar. This is a lovely place and we had a marvelous time. And - the pasta is HOMEMADE! The desserts are HOMEMADE! And you can taste the HOMEMADE difference!

Make a reservation for shore. Food is good service is nice too ambiance is good. We were unlucky that day was a birthday celebration next table lots of loud people. Which definitely management should have put that kind of party little away from main crowed. Otherwise we like that place. We definitely go back

So mfing good. Pumpkin ravioli + Sauv blanc + Prosecco rose + bread w olive tapenade + panna cotta + crème brûlée + affogato + shot of espresso. Absolutely bomb and insane service. Unfortunately culinary experience was overshowdd by my family of 13 talking to me about searching for different jobs and career paths. An unfortunate absence of my beloved siblings at this fam dinner was felt deeply by myself ... Thus while my fam is well-intentioned and v v thoughtful, after two glasses of wine, an espresso, dessert, and sitting right next to their hot grand fireplace ( created a beauriful ambience) I genuinely felt like I was about to cry and then I felt like I was about to pass out. I chugged cold water tho thumbs up emoji but had to ask for more bc water refills stopped after we paid the bill. But idc. Food was bomb I love my family and Love you ca del sole hope I can come back soon Ranked #4/95 restaurants i reviewed in past yr

Wet there for lunch and it was amazing. I had the Zuppe de Pesce and I have not stopped thinking about it since. The fish was so that I felt like it might have been caught that morning. The outside dining was so romantic. I would recommend going with a partner if you can and request a booth. You will have a great time, but plan on spending at least $100 a person if you have a starter and wine. But it is well worth the price.

I love everything about Ca Del Sole!! The patio feels like a secluded cozy garden, they have happy hour on weeknights all night starting at 5pm, the food is amazing and the service is great!!! Ive tried the happy hour Mac n cheese (small but very rich and delicious- plus it's only $9 so it's definitely worth that!), gnocchi pesto (SO good), and the pumpkin ravioli (sweet and decadent). I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the pastas- so I know I'll be back to try more! I've also had great experience with the service- attentive, friendly and fun! Such a great spot!

All about it here. Legendary spot with a refreshing atmosphere and plenty of space to sit. Amazing staff and ambiance is on point on point! Great pastas and fresh options daily. This spots definitely worth a trip not just a stop. Pull up and stay eatin!

I have to say I am super disappointed. This restaurant used to be my go-to Italian spot until 2 months ago. We ordered the focaccia garlic bread as an appetizer and we couldn't eat more than a couple bites. There was so much garlic to the point we were coughing with how extreme it was and downing our water. Our main dishes were great but when the waiter came to clear our plates and ask how everything was, we told him how the bread was inedible because there was too much garlic. His response was to laugh and respond with something along the lines of "yeah I know, it's very strong." I was kind of taken back that he didn't offer to take it off our bill since we didn't eat it. No dessert menu was offered which was fine because I didn't want to spend any more money after that.

I had been craving Italian food and was planning on having a small birthday dinner with some gf's. I yelped around for the Burbank/Studio city area and came across Ca Del Sole. I always already sold from the pictures and high reviews. Unfortunately at first when I called for reservations they only had a very early time or very late time. The next day I called again just to make sure and luckily they had a 6:45 available which was perfect! They have valet parking available or street parking. As you walk in, they have a bar on the side which we waited until our table was ready, which was about 7. The inside is very spacious and has a very warm and casual vibe. The menu was pretty big and I was a bit overwhelmed because everything looked so good. My gf ordered a bottle of red wine for the table, and unfortunately I did not get the name but it was one of the best I've had, and very smooth. _Fritto Misto. Fried calamari, shrimp, vegetable tortelli, zucchini, tartar and marinara sauce. I had been craving calamari and this did non disappoint. The portion was very fair, and everything was very flavorful and perfectly fried. Th batter was not too thick, which is always a plus, and the marinara and tartar sauce paired so well everything on the plate. Especially the marinara. _Bigoli Ca'Del Sole. Venetian style spaghetti, clams, shrimp, mussels, spicy tomato sauce. I saw this a lot on yelp and I love seafood so opted for this. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked al dente. They add a fair portion of seafood, and it was all very fresh and well seasoned. I did not read spicy tomato sauce but now it make sense as to why it seemed like it was packing a punch. I'm not a fan of spicy so I could have done without it being spicy, but still very good. Service was great and the taste of everything hit the spot in all ways I was hoping for. Had a great birthday dinner experience! Definitely will have to come back and try their other dishes.

The food is absolutely fantastic, and our server Victor was SO fast and accommodating and friendly. Truly, he made the experience special for us. I would absolutely recommend this spot - and their patio happy hour is crazy affordable and goes all night!

I can not believe that this is my first time here. My hubs took me for my birthday and wow, definitely will be coming back here again. The lunch started out with their bread and olive tapenade. Let me tell you, I could've just had that and would've been very happy! The squid ink pasta had just the right amount of spicy kick that will definitely make me crave it in the future. The lasagna was very good and their desserts were yumz. The service was great. Our coffee came a tad bit on the luke warm side and they gladly replaced it with a fresh new brew. The ambiance was a little bit dated and not a lot of sun, but who cares? The food was outstanding!!

Absolutely love this place, the food is outstanding! I've come here multiple times over the years and I've always gotten the same things but last night i decided to try something new i don't regret a second of it! I had the salmon salad instead of the capalini allá checa and it was delicious!! The service is always great, something's different that i can't place but the service or atmosphere has changed a little. Not necessarily a bad thing, but notably different.

Came here with a very large group (12 family members) and had to try my go-to Italian dish--pesto gnocchi. Absolutely delicious pesto and the gnocchi almost melted in my mouth. You hardly have to chew. My fiance had the pumpkin ravioli which was also outstanding. Our waiter (bald gentleman) had exceptional knowledge of the menu as well as the MASSIVE wine menu. I would 100% go here again.

This Is One of My Favourite Places to eat grilled octopus. for appetizer and for my dinner I had seafood pasta. The food was excellent. I did have a problem with one or two of my muscles but you know you can't blame a restaurant for that. Overall, the ambience, the service, the parking attendance, the restaurant itself the restroom all was up to my standards. the environment there is so nice. You have to reserve a cabana outside which I did not do. So call in advance they only have about six of them. It takes you back in time. You will think that you're in Italy. It was just two people and the bill was a little over $200 but that's expected these days and for the quality of food and service that you receive there it's well worth it. I can't wait to hear your review on this.

This is a great location with a very spacious and pretty patio. The have a great happy hour which is Monday-Friday nights until closing. The HH menu isn't extensive but a couple of my girlfriends had the shrimp tacos off that menu and they looked great. I ordered the Branzino from the regular menu. It was ok nothing spectacular. My problem was with the service. The dinner ended with a bus boy spilling the olive tapenade on my dress and boots. He didn't even notice he did it. We did tell our server and the manager did come over. He gave me his contact information and offered to pay for the dry cleaning and to get my boots cleaned. He could have also offered to take something off of my bill but he did not. I don't know if I will go back. We shall see.

This is one of my favorite local lunch spots. This is a classic style restaurant, with traditional Italian menu items and decor. This place is great for a business lunch or romantic dinner. I always eat out on the patio. The tables are super charming, especially the cabanas. Food is consistently solid, and service as well.

Great happy hour! The patio is so lovely as long as it's not too hot :) I went with a friend and we each had 2 white sangrias and shared like 2-3 apps and the check was about $60. Not a bad deal for 4 drinks and apps- especially for LA!

One of the best places in Los Angeles. The 10/10 waiters can always offer a delicious dish - it's great, especially when you don't know what you want to eat. The hostesses are not very friendly in 9 cases out of 10, but the waiters compensate for the taste of the food too. Always fresh burrata and everything else, I love lentil soup, it's kind of full of love

Outstanding service! And the food was great too. Came for my pre birthday dinner. Chilean sea bass, soup of the day, and the flourless chocolate cake was to die for.

My husband and I always wanna try this place because it's actually 10 minutes from our house,So we finally got a chance on Valentine's day. On Valentine's day they did a fix course and it was 3 course.Appetizer,main and dessert.My husband got a scallop for appetizer,Filet for main course and Panna Cotta for dessert.I got tuna tartare for appetizer,Cioppino for main and Panna Cotta for dessert.The food were perfect,Fresh and delicious. Service was excellent.our drinks never empty even a water.Empty plates got taken care of right away after we finished it.Our server was nice and so does every other staffs. Are we coming back for the second time? Absolutely yes! We would come back and try their regular menu for sure.
