14 Spots in Los Angeles for To-Go Taco Tuesday | Eater

"Cabo Cantina doesn’t mess around with its margaritas. They’re served double in large, eye-catching margarita glasses with salted rims, if preferred. As for food to soak up that tequila, try the surf and turf tacos with shrimp and steak. Located near Venice Beach, the spot also offers a perfect sunset view." - Vox Creative

Came here for Taco Tuesday and happy hour. On Tuesday you get AYCE Tacos for $9.99 and from 3-8pm you get buy 1 get one free drinks. Such a deal! It’s right by the beach which is nice and the staff for so friendly. I have Steph and Freddy take care of me and they were amazing. Made me feel right at home and went above and beyond more people do. Def will come back. Especially for happy hour or on a Tuesday!

Great place to stop in and have cocktails and nibble! Keep in mind if you go with the large margarita IT’S HUGE!!!! Delicious but HUGE! Our bartender was super friendly and funny. Lots of TV’s inside. If you enjoy watching sports this is a great place to go. College football was on while we were there. Several people showed up and really enjoyed the games, drinks, and food. A fun atmosphere!

This is one of my fav spots in Venice. Super chill vibes, cool and friendly staff, massive food and drink portions for a great price, and a killer view of the ocean. Always try to stop in when I'm around!

Fun beach town restaurant with a laid back but party vibe. The salsa was fresh, the food was hot and the drinks were ice cold! No frills kind of place, very affordable and in a nice little area of Venice Beach. Highly recommend the fajita & margaritas 🍹

We stopped there for the July 4th celebration on our way to the firework show. The outside restaurant security was very polite and helpful! Everyone eating there wanted the outdoor seating for obvious reasons but we were just there for a quick meal, not to sit and drink. They directed us to the upstairs seating area inside where we were able to order almost immediately. The food was quickly prepared especially given just how busy they were. My husband ordered the loaded queso dip with grilled chicken and a blended Rosa-Rita. He said it was plenty of food that served as his meal, not an appetizer and tasted very good. My daughter got the Quesadilla Tres Quesos. She said it was good, “no complaints.” My son got the Barrio Buttito. He said it was “delicious”. I ordered the Cantina Tacos and Mango-Rita. I was honestly very disappointed. The chicken was grilled and had a good flavor but the tortillas themselves were your standard store bought tortillas that just don’t taste that good in my opinion. They didn’t even try to hide the fact that it was store bought. At least put it on the grill for a second to try and warm them up a tad. The cabbage slaw had no flavor as in zero taste. The pico was good but it made for an overall very dry and underwhelming. The Rosa-Rita and Mango-Rita was fine. As a side note, they did NOT honor their Happy Hour advertisement even though there were signs posted saying Happy Hour and we were there during that time frame. I guess they didn’t honor it because it was July 4th and they saw $$ to be made on all of us. I respect that but at least take down the signs advertising it!!!! Shame on this restaurant for that. They depend on tourism to support their business and I suppose they feel as if there will always be new faces to support them. I personally won’t go back just because of the shady way they conduct their business regardless of how good (or not) the food is.

Brilliant service and atmosphere, we arrive in time for 2 for 1 cocktails which were delicious. Although the menu is margaritas, they are happy to change any of the cocktails if preferred!

Went here because we were looking for a place to eat and be able to watch the fight, so we found this place in Venice, it was a pretty cool spot. We got a couple of appetizers and they were all really good ! The carne asada nachos and some chicken flautas, the margarita was definitely all I needed!!
