Pretty authentic. Gush tacos were very good. Clean, good menu, good service, worth a visit.

We were here with a bunch of friends and I was full from the chips and salsas that they keep replenishing. I got the combination plate - got one chile relleno, one chicken enchilada and one taco al pastor which came with rice and beans. Everything was flavorful and yummy but couldn't finish because I loaded up on chips and salsas! The guac made table side was good too but oh so pricey!

I visited this restaurant in the evening of 11/2/25. It was my first time visiting and its going to be my last. I ordered the breaded shrimp plate ($21 for 6 small breaded shrimp, a spoonful of white rice, some 3/4 of the way steamed vegetables, lettuce and dices tomatoes). My order apparently was forgotten and was finally served when my party was half way thru their meal. The food wasn't really good. Most of it was bland, not too much flavor. Even the horchata I got to drink wasnt really good as well as the flan my family ordered. Somebody in my party ordered fish tacos and ended feeling bad and almost fainted afterwards. 911 had to be called and was driven to the hospital. The staff were helpful with calling 911 and helping in what they could with the person who wasn't feeling well. But other than that, I wouldn't recommend this place or return.

We had a great time at Cabo's on our Anniversary Day. We both wanted to try it after a few recommendations and the fact that I used to work in that building in the late 70s when it was a Sizzler Steak House Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was awesome. We had appetizers as well as our meal and ended it with dessert. They all came out in a timely manner. I would go again!

All the food & drinks there is amazing , you can’t go wrong . There are days when mariachi comes by and they play music . It’s a fun atmosphere!!

I had a deeply concerning experience at Cabo restaurant that has prompted me to share this review. My friend and I dined there on a Sunday afternoon, and she ordered the tamarindo drink. Shortly after consuming it, she began to feel unwell. Her condition rapidly deteriorated, leading to a severe stomach illness that required immediate hospitalization. What is particularly alarming is the restaurant's response to this situation. Despite the clear connection between the tamarindo drink and my friend's sudden illness, the management insisted on charging us for both the drink and her meal. This lack of empathy and responsibility is frankly unacceptable. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when dining at el Cabo.The subsequent handling of the situation by the restaurant's management raises serious concerns about their commitment to customer safety and satisfaction.

Esmeralda is the best server, My Mom and I love coming here. My Mom loves her chicken taco, and I like exploring the menu Everytime I go in. Esmeralda always treats us great. Definitely recommend this place.

First visit and the food, music, service was just amazing! I ordered the bistec ranchero and a margarita- SUPER GOOD! Salsa is the best I've had in a long time. Our servers were kind and fast. Definitely returning! Mariachi was awesome. I have to learn Spanish so i can sing along.

I just came here today, the food is good, the presentation is very simple on the plates, also they offer fresh homemade tortillas it gives them extra point. The sea food isn't fishy, its good I can't complain. Im just very disappointed about their men restroom. You must make a long line to use it, also it only has one toilet for the whole restaurant. Be careful you must looked the door Because if not you will be exposed to being seen by other people who wants to use it. It can be more useful if they put something to separate the toilet and the urinary standing area and I putting this review just to advise others to be prepared if you are drinking here.

Our first time here and we truly enjoyed our dinner! Located on Oxnard Blvd. Near Wooley-lots of parking, pet friendly patio and a good size restaurant with lots of indoor seating! They also have a full bar which was very busy-happy hour... Our server Marilin was very sweet and attentive! My husband loved his carnitas plate - the pork was so flavorful and cooked perfectly! My tacos were awesome! Both Asada and cheered chicken-so tender, cooked perfectly! Their rice and beans are amazing as well as their salsas!! Prices are a bit high... $17+ for a 2 taco plate- but the quality was excellent. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!

Yuuuumy! This seafood molcahete was spicy deliciousness! People would walk by and ask what I ordered and others at the dinner party had food envy. This came in HOT and stayed hot until it was finished. So many flavors from the sauce anf the seafood. But the combo from both was a perfect match. The restaurant was family friendly so bring your fam!

My friend and I visited Cabo Seafood Grill for lunch recently and very much enjoyed both the food and the service. Tip: There's plenty of outdoor seating available here :-) All the staffers we interacted with were both helpful and friendly. As for the food, our meals came with house-made soft corn tortillas that were off-the-hook good! We also tried two shrinp dishes that were also quite good. Last, but not least, the complimentary tortilla chips are both tasty and addictive.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the bar area. The decorations are fabulous. I ordered the picadillo dorado tacos. I really enjoyed them along with their beans. So yummy. My husband enjoyed his margaritas and the chilaquiles. Ask for the spicy salsa! Their regular salsa wasn't that flavorful. Service was fantastic. Definitely a fun spot to stop by on a Sunday afternoon!

Absolutely nothing was fresh and margaritas were watered down. Great ambience but offers nothing more. I was really disappointed.

I got the 2 item combo plate. I ordered the carnitas taco and the chile relleno. The food was pretty good just the rice tasted a little old but everything else was very good. The waitress was lovely and the salsa was spicy and yummy. The tortillas are so fresh! I don't eat seafood but there was a lot of seafood choices obviously and a lot of not seafood choices.

Went in for a quick dining option as my car evaluated for repairs. The establishment was nice and cozy. Waitress was great! Food wasn't good at all. I ordered the fish taco lunch special. The food presentation was good but the taste was horrible. The fish was prepared burnt and the fish was tainted. Could not finish the taco, u can kinda smell the tainted smell. I was pretty much served old fish for the day

Jose took really good care of our table. The table side guac is the best guacamole. I got a salad & a wet vegetarian burrito. I loved that they really made the burrito vegan. The beans weren't fried they were whole and they put white rice. The veggies inside were crisp & fresh. The table side guac came with the freshest corn tortillas. You have the option of flour or corn. This is still my fave Mexican food restaurant in the county.

Stopped in to have a late lunch. This has been our go to place when we are near Oxnard. Portions are excellent and everyone leaves satisfied. The customer service is very friendly, they make you feel welcome and definitely show an interest in making sure you are taken care of. The ambience is family friendly, and there's also a separate bar area and patio seating available.

Terrific, traditional Mexican restaurant with lively atmosphere and fantastic food. The mixed fajitas platter was delicious. Great, freshly made tortillas were a highlight. Margaritas and live music were awesome. Will definitely return.

The Mariachi music issue seems to have been resolved. i haven't seen them there in a few months. We do call before heading there to make sure. So I'm raising my stars from three to five! Food is as great as always and the service is always spot on.

I work with the elder community we go out to eat once a month. This month we ate at Cabo Seafood & Grill. Excellent service we had a group of 25 people they were able to keep us all together and everyone was very happy with the food. The waitress was very accommodating. I was brought here by a couple of school teachers and had a great time. The food save drink super is tasty and the service is awesome. The best part was the mariachi band in the bar who never left and played with reckless abandon. The locals are super friendly and accommodating with the seating and crowded area and it was an awesome time I want to be here every Friday!

I love their food I had the taco last time and it was amazing their meat was tender and juicy their rice is so good also I love their tortilla chips and the salsa is the best. Their service was amazing quick and attentive and they made sure our drinks were always full. Also the decor was nice it fit perfectly into the restaurant.

Aww man :( we tried ! the salsa watery, the guac was great but its table-side so can't really go wrong. Fast service which was good. The shrimp tacos were bleh, the veggies were good, the beans tasted old, the fish taco was okay, the chile relleno was bland. Hubby and I did not enjoy this dinner at all! The Iced tea was gross Idk ‍ if its the water I am not sure not making it back here sadly!

The atmosphere was great, and Jason was a wonderful waiter. He made sure we were well taken care of, brought our margaritas right away, and our food was delicious. We had some Queso Fundo and Agua Chillies. it was amazing. I recommend this to everybody. It was an amazing experience.

Stopped in on a recent Friday night. This place is packed so plan accordingly. Staff is great at getting you seated quickly. Full mariachi band ads to the atmosphere. Tonight I went with the fish tacos. Delicious. Put Cano on your next dinner night. Perfect for families, couples, and friend groups. Enjoy!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! I love the ambiance because I feel like at a Mexican restaurant in Mexico. Service is good and food is delicious. They make guacamole in front of you so it's very fresh and tasty. Also tortillas are fresh too.(see my videos) All dishes are big portions. When we had a party last year, we ordered a lot of food to go and our guests liked it. The restaurant has a parking in front.

GETTING HERE: Located at the intersection of Oxnard Blvd. and Wooley. PRO TIP: Weekends are busy here, just plan ahead for parking, etc. REVIEW: A solid 4.5 dining experience. My guest and I were seated pretty quickly and our server came over pretty quickly as well and took our drink orders. The drinks were delivered promptly as was our chips and salsa. I'm guessing they have to run a pretty tight ship here since it's so extremely busy (at least on this visit it was). The small hiccup was with my order, I requested the red sauce on my chilaquiles to be the salsa (with the chips) as it was milder. Of course, my order was served with their "regular" red sauce, which was too spicy for me. Had to send it back. (Also, the egg and the protein was an upcharge, just FYI.) My guest thoroughly enjoyed their cheese enchilada, said it was very tasty and served hot and flavorful. Great overall expereince and will definitely be back and definitly recommend. Also another PRO TIP: Order their table guac. It was GOOD!

We have eaten here a few times. Each time the food has been excellent as well as the service. I had the fajitas that has steak, chicken and shrimp with homemade corn tortillas. It was delicious! We also ordered the octopus cocktail and a bean and cheese burrito and a steak burrito and they loved them. The margaritas are very tasty too. We will definitely be eating there again soon. I recommend this place to anyone who wants great Mexican cuisine.

This place never stops making me proud for my family. We went to Cabo to celebrate Mother's Day. The mariachi was great. But the food is yummy. I waited 5 minutes for my food and was great. The best place to celebrate holidays for your loved ones. We were lucky enough to have hand sanitizer on each table. But the thing that sucks is inflation. Too expensive for a family lunch or dinner. But I think that everything was ok.

Ordered online - 3 fajitas and a ceviche tostada. Cost was almost $90! Picked up the food and got all the way back home to see that we had been given no tortillas for the fajitas and had to go back for them. The worst part though was the food was terrible! The chicken and steak were very over cooked and bone dry and everything was totally flavorless. Even the chips, had no salt. The salsa had no flavor, it was crazy. I definitely will not be back, it was a disappointing and expensive lesson.

This is my second time here. First time was amazing. The second time I came on a Saturday night and the food was alright but ambiance was loud. The carne asada plate was really good but the shrimp fajitas that my husband ordered was bland. My other complaint that took away stars was the ambiance. It was loud and children were running around screaming. There was a live banda there and they were at the table next to us the entire time. I have a 3 year old and it was too loud for her little ears. Probably won't come back especially on a Saturday night.

Excellent meal at Cabo tonight. The food here is consistently well prepared, fresh and flavorful. The salsas are outstanding. Had the al pastor taco and chili relleño combo. Both were top quality. The al pastor had a nice char and the relleño had great balance. Beans and rice always good. The service was great, efficient without being pushy.

This place is so good! I had the halibut, my wife had the fish tacos and our son a fish burrito. It was all delicious! The Diablo salsa is a must and comes to your table steaming hot! No empty plates when we were done!!

We live on the Central Coast and our daughter lives down in Southern California so we met halfway in Oxnard. The reviews were pretty awesome compared to many in the area. We were pleased with everything we had. It was a very nice friendly, welcoming restaurant. Lots of variety of Mexican Dishes including seafood choices. The Menudo was actually good and we'd order it again if we were back in the area. I definitely recommend you trying Cabo. Delicious food, great service, friendly service, and most of all clean restrooms which matter to me. I usually will never Return to a restaurant that has dirty bathrooms. Colorful ambience, homemade corn tortillas and guacamole. Any nice bar area for those who like to celebrate. Hope you try Cabo soon!

One of our regular spots and an Oxnard local favorite. I have had many things on the menu. The Chile relleno is fabulous. The Ceasar Salad is fresh and grilled chicken or shrimp as an add on. There is a beautiful whole fish. Ceviche is off the charts. Table side fresh guacamole. Today I had a 3 taco combo. Carne Asada (excellent), Chicken, and Vegetable. The vegatable was loaded and I will definitely order it again. En pocos palabras, everything is good here. Though I haven't tried the burger, I hear rumors that it's quite good. Fresh handmade tortillas and delicious margaritas.

I was pleasantly surprised to try some great Mexican food at Cabo seafood and grill! We had a great waiter and good service! They serve fresh tortillas and had music. We celebrated a coworkers birthday and it was a great spot!

If I lived in California I would eat here all the time. They do not disappoint. We have eaten oysters from many high end restaurants and none compare to the ceviche oysters we had tonight. This place was wonderful. The Cadillac Margaritas was the best I have had in a long time. The fish tacos were great. I wish I had room for dessert. I will be back soon.

Came here on a Wednesday night for a bday party. Size was 7+2 kids. Service was super slow but food was good. I ordered my go to "Tosta de Camaron" and the amount of tomato's in this was just ridiculous. I don't know if this is the way it's meant to be but it over powered the taste of the shrimp. I will not order this again and I don't recommend it

Reading the Yelp reviews is the reason I stopped to eat at Cabo Seafood & Grill, because this location is not in the best part of town. Good Mexican food, First Class service, great energy & lots of fun for everyone, BIG plates of food & plenty of parking. The fresh guacamole is delicious & entertaining to watch.
