Cabot Creamery Store - Waterbury

The cheese shop is large and nicely decorated and they offer some samples to try. They also surprisingly have a small but decent wine selection at reasonable prices. The cheese itself was not good at all to my taste. Among the 5 kinds I tried I wanted to purchase 0 of them and even though I like British cheddar, their cheddar did not match my taste unfortunately

I personally love that Cabot has their own shop! I’m not from the area and it’s nice to see a brand I’m familiar with, but as a store! I had no idea they had so many different types of cheese. Here, you can get them all! They also have merch, wine, samples, a full cheese case with other local cheeses, gifts, etc. a great little stop when in the area.

Yummy cheese! Visit time in Vermont and I wasn’t familiar with the brand before but was excited to visit this store on recommendation by many. The store was well organized with a little merch shop to the left when you entered, then to the right they had an area with gift items, wine, charcuterie items and a few delicious cheese & spreads samples out to enjoy (horseradish was very tasty - habanero was fantastic but HOT!) We grabbed the vintage choice and 10 yr aged along with some popcorn.

My Husband LOVES cheese, like seriously loves it so when I told him we could visit this creamery while on our Vermont trip he was so excited! Amazing, friendly staff and as a pro tip... if you're from "away" bring a cooler! You'll want to bring some home! ✌️💛🧀

A great little shop, plenty of things to take home. Obviously most of the cheese is cheddar, and that’s ok, but they do have lots of jams, knives, and other Cabot-branded keepsakes you can take home.

Super fun experience for your average cheese lover and cheddar aficionado alike! Not only could you sample a wide variety of Cabot's cheddars and pairings, but we went on a Saturday morning where they had local farmers offering samples of their cheeses alongside the store's regularly scheduled offerings. So delicious, and so great to see a larger company supporting local like this!

They have the fullest selection of Cabot cheese we’ve seen anywhere, including 10 year aged cheddar that is so delicious 🧀 But the thing that stood out to us is their amazing customer service! Staff are so SO super friendly and more than happy to chat and make recommendations!. They have multiple tasting station, covering at least 10 varieties of cheeses of different age, taste and flavoring. (And these tasting cheese cubes are HUGE! Which you won’t hear us complain about haha) We walked away with so many cheese and condiments
