Cabotte

There was a live insect, moving in a drink, and the solution the restaurant provided was just quickly taking the insect out and gave it back to us. Appalling service!!!! They also put extra more item on our bill which we didn’t order… added up to be horrible service. I would avoid this restaurant. Food is very mediocre. We ended up leaving earlier than we planned. ** The reply from the restaurant is nonsense, we won’t randomly accuse you of “simply remove the insect”. Please don’t try to fool us. ** Plus we don’t think got the bill wrong and corrected it until we ask for is something to be very proud of.

Outstanding dinner and iconic wine list. Food was really excellent and well balanced flavors and quite visually appealing in preparation. Cozy space with perfect temperature and level of sound (not too loud). In town visiting, and it was the highlight meal of the trip. Will come back for sure.

If you were looking for a formal French restaurant with non-arrogant service, this was definitely the best choice. All service staff were friendly and positive. They also seemed very professional in providing wine and food recommendations. The environment was perfect. The oysters and sweet shrimps were handled very cleanly. Foie gras and duck were served as an appetizer and were very unique when paired with sauce. The raw beef was cut very thinly and presented beautifully. The two main dishes, beef and fish, felt a bit fusion and were a little bit less tender for me. Overall, it was a restaurant worth visiting.

We had our elopement wedding dinner here in September. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The upstairs private dining room is a great option for any celebration. We were able to play our own music which didn't affect diners downstairs.

Fantastic food, with an amazing wine list too. One of the best restaurants that’s not pretentious in zone 1 that I’ve been to in a long time. If you want great food and great wine, I’d recommend getting lunch or dinner here. Really great place to go!!

Attentive service and Michelin level food. The ravioli was light and moreish, the fish was exquisite (the sauce was to die for), and the tarte tartin could have fed 3, and I would have licked the plate!! The Sancerre and Cote du Rhône - again were divine!

After a long day this was a real delight! Staff were amazing and from my partner, they have been working here for a long time. Friendly, attentive, accommodating and knows everything on the menu. The food was perfectly cooked (Obvs oysters were raw) and prepped; delicious and good size portions. Love mushrooms but don’t have truffle often, it was the perfect amount on the risotto to complement each other. Likely to return again in future.

Super delicious, and fresh French countryside food. Started with the buratta which was super creamy w the perfectly ripe tomatoes and pistachio pesto and the Stone bass, courgette and basil puree, fennel, sun-dried tomato & tapenade. Great for a special occasion, business lunch or group get together. Charming setting and great service too. Thanks!

Found Cabotte off of Kings Street in downtown London. I love the simple elegance in their presentation of spectacular Country French food. The pairings of food, wine, & cheese were terrific and the deserts are spot on. The braised cod with sides of yogurt and aubergine and a country curry sauce was terrific. Each item brought a different flavor and they all worked together. Tonight I ordered the Beef Cheek Bourguignon and it was incredible. Best description of everything is the food is elegant, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the wine list is Devine.
