What a wonderful restaurant. This place is for people who truly love food. The dishes play with taste and texture, creating surprising and outstanding flavors, and every plate is visually stunning. Each dish felt like a small surprise with every bite. The service was great, the wine selection lovely, and the overall atmosphere warm and inviting. It feels like a place aimed at younger people who genuinely appreciate the art of high-class cooking. Highly recommended—definitely make a reservation. And don’t arrive too late: we had a table at 9:00 pm, and unfortunately a few dishes were already sold out.

Excellent. Opened only recently, but leaving a huge mark on the local restaurant scene — it not only looks cool, but also it delivers on the food in outstanding fashion. Each of the dishes we tasted was a true sensation for the taste buds. Like some of the best Middle Eastern places I have been, they blend theirs with some playfulness known from French cuisine — giving it somewhat of a Mediterranean touch, but only a tiny bit. The result is astonishing, I do not know any other place in Budapest delivering such a sensation. All of that is delivered in the cozy atmosphere of what could be a small Parisian bistro. It blends in well, and so do the wines they serve. Service is excellent, you may want to reserve as the place usually is packed on a Wednesday night.

First off, we walked in and the staff were so nice to accommodate us( highly recommended to book ahead) we just got lucky on a Thursday non busy season night. Staff are so attentive and kind! 10/10 The atmosphere was interesting and thoughtful as every item were branded. Causal but well organized and well design. 9/10 As for food; we had 4 dishes : roasted potatoes: 7/10 Eggplant/Aubergine : 10/10 Celeriac Cappacio:8/10 Braised beef cheek: 6/10 - the flavour profile was very Asian and it didn’t complement other dishes well.

Outstandingly awesome experience. Great foods, flavours that make you full, deviled eggs are must to try. Attentive,friendly staff, really easy going. Surprising wines, extravagant wine menu. It's just great.

Cabrio is a bar that has small plates. The crowd is extremly young and hipsterish. The interior is super crowded and club-like. The service is charchterless and hectic. The waiters are running around all the times and were not very entusiastic about their wine offering or anything for that matter. To be honest their work is not easy given the tightly packed venue. The food is though a strong point for the place. Very simple tapas dishes, seasonal, well conceived and perfectly executed. We tried almost everything and there is no weak spot. If you like natural wines, hip crowds this is the place you.

Absolutely loved it ! Very original food great wine list. The service was too fast but we arrived quite late so it might be the reason. Highly recommend.

Had a very pleasant experience at Cabrio. Exciting, punchy and well balanced dishes on the menu. The atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night dinner. Highly recommended if you are looking for a high quality meal in the heart of the city.

It's pretty much the best small plate restaurant in Budapest. The food is incredible. The chef has style and imagination with a talent to execute it well. In my opinion it beats most michelin places across Budapest. The wine selection is also sublime, even the entry ones are exceptional. It's a must have in budapest. Make sure to book in advance.
