40 New Restaurants and Bars That Have Opened in San Diego - Eater San Diego

"The Seventh House has been rebooted into a Roman trattoria that’s currently serving dinner, with lunch and weekend brunch to come. Cacio E Pepe features its namesake pasta plus the three other iconic Roman pasta dishes — amatriciana, carbonara, and the lesser-seen gricia — on a menu that also includes crispy artichokes, Roman-style pizza, and entrees ranging from chicken saltimbocca, eggplant parmesan, and fried seafood." - Candice Woo

Great Italian place in north park. There is a speakeasy in the back which is super fun! The pasta was amazing. The classic Cacio e Pepe of course is a must try they named the restaurant after this dish and I see why. Framing but not too heavy. Nice thick Spaghetti. Staff is super friendly our waiter brought us drinks immediately and very attentive to get us anything we needed. Sharing plates, ect. The Bolognese which is always my favorite did not disappoint. It had a touch of acid which was actually very nice and balanced the dish. It was winter so we sat inside but if it was warmer in the summer the outdoor seating would have been nice. Was a great spot and the food and drinks were great but also the atmosphere was a little causal that it didn’t feel like you had to be too fancy. 10/10 would recommend.

Our party of 2 ate at Cacio e Pepe on a very warm Saturday afternoon. This corner restaurant has a beautiful vibe inside. As usual with North Park restaurants, street parking only. Environment: Inside has 2-4 person tables and a few 2 person tables outside. We opted for an outdoor table when we saw people inside fanning themselves— I don’t think they have AC. The outdoor vibe was wonderful with the beautiful sunset. However once the sun set, all the bugs came out so we moved inside. Food: BUCATINI CACIO E PEPE ($19.95) + add Black Truffle ($4): gotta get their signature! Very tasty and very filling, I recommend getting the black truffle as they give a generous amount PAPPARDELLE RAGU ($22.95): wanted to also get a red sauce pasta and this one did not disappoint CACIO E PEPE PIZZA ($18.95): gave a generous amount of prosciutto but this dish didn’t wow me as much LIMONCELLI MARTINI ($14.95): super good, came with a lemon popsicle inside the martini glass TRES LECHES CAKE ($11.95): their version of it. I’d skip this one. Overall: Great location and pretty solid food. Just be wary if you’re coming on a particularly hot day. If you’re in the area, I’d say it’s nice to try out at least once.

This needs to be one of your top Italian resto in San Diego! Food was 10/10. Service and ambience were awesome!! We went here for our 16th anniversary and they were so kind to give us a special treat. Definitely will go back again.

What a delightfully delicious experience. We came to Cacio E Pepe as first time customers for Restaurant Week. I’m glad we did! Cacio was a wonderful experience and a great value!! The dishes and beverages were craftly designed and tasty. The customer service was attentive and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant and will come again!

Absolutely wonderful! The portions are generous, the staff is so friendly, attentive, and accommodating, and the interior is really cute. It truly sets the perfect scene for a chill date night.

Really enjoyed eating here. Some friends had recommended it as a new restaurant in town and even featured on instagram. We ate early and it wasn't crowded, felt like we received star service, or server Sophia was great and very knowledgable. She explained the drink menu and wine menu to us and applauded us on the menu items we ordered. For appetizers we got the bruschetta alla romana, the Crispy artichokes heart + garlic + mint + white wine, and zucchini blossom. The Blossom's sauce had a little heat but not too. We did family style and also split 3 entrees, the carbonara with thick pasta which we really liked, pappardelle ragu and the cacia e pepe pizza. I recommend this venue to anyone. We were easily able to park and enjoyed the ambiance.

We drove all over Little Italy looking for a parking spot but there was just way too much traffic and no parking. So we found this great restaurant in Northpark hoping it would fulfill our desire for Italian food. It surpassed our expectations. Everything we ordered was delicious and very tasty. Plus the ambiance and decor was real nice too. I feel confident saying this was the best Italian food I’ve had to date. After dinner we strolled over to their speakeasy lounge and had a drink. That was amazingly cool as well. And don’t forget to check out the restrooms-they are a work of art. The tile in the restrooms are beautiful. We live in Carlsbad and plan on coming back to try more of this great little cucina Italiano.

Absolutely beautiful place! My husband and I live just down the street and were curious to try this place. The cocktails and cheese board were excellent. I wish I remembered the name of our waitress because she was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this board and the secret of Juliet cocktail pictured in this photo. My husband loved their sangrias. I hope reviews like this will encourage others to come support these new businesses in north park, because sadly we’ve had too many great places close down. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!!

Yelp
I believe in second chances. People, movies, that one ex you thought changed (spoiler: they didn't), and yes--restaurants. Places can improve, and sometimes, they just need another shot to wow you. Well, this spot did not disappoint the second time around. Every dish was chef's kiss perfection. And then there was Fernando. This man? A hospitality icon. He was amazing, welcoming, and honestly, he blew us away. If charm was a currency, Fernando would own a villa in the Amalfi Coast by now. Oh, and THE CAKE. Listen, I've had good desserts, but this? This was transcendental. Like, "Am I in a dream? Is this cake whispering sweet nothings to me?" kind of good. If I could legally marry a dessert, we'd be honeymooning in Tuscany right now. Long story short: Second chances? Worth it. This place? Absolutely nailed it.

Yelp
Recently been an Italian food snob and this place's interior is great but the food was not up to par for me personally. First off, we came quite a bit early to our reservation and was able to sit down immediately. It was a bit later in the evening but still busy so I was grateful the service was quick and accommodating. Pane Fresco or Focaccia bread (6/10): good but they did give a very small container of butter. Barbabietola (7/10): Refreshing salad. The lemon ricotta was such a refreshing and creamy addition. Linguine al Gamberi (6/10): The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the noodles were al dente but the sauce was lowkey bland. I had to ask for a lot of parmesean and add red pepper flakes for a little more flavor. This place is cute for the ambiance and the prices are great but I don't think I would come back.

Yelp
While food in San Diego is pretty below the California average this is a brighter spot in the mids. There is decadence, there are large portions, but per usual, there is a lack of seasoning and shortcoming on meat, dairy, and produce quality. The portions here are huge. If you are 40+ you can easily split 1 pasta dish, a salad or appetizer, and a couple cocktails. 2 pastas and 1 salad was a touch too much. Everything was pretty good though, just lacking that exclusive special stuff that Callie and Anime have. Service here is not great but it's accessible. We have kids, we pay baby sitter, waiting 10-15 minutes for a glass of wine and the waiter to take our order when theres only 2 other tables in the restaurant is silly. Resturant is beautiful though. There's a little speak easy in the back that pops with younger wealthier people. Like successful Account Executives, not personal training bar tender people. Nice and solid, room for improvement.

Yelp
We had reservations and were sat right away. The waiter was nice but we asked for water multiple times and werent given it until I asked for the 3rd time when the food was already out. We got the cacio e Pepe with truffle, carbonara, and maltaglialti. The cacio e pepe was solid, has a strong pepper kick. Carbonara was our favorite and the ravioli was unique. Pasta was good and came out fast but we almost felt rushed. Good spot and location but there are lots of Italian spots in north park so it's hard to compare

Yelp
The restaurant is a cute classy upscale place with a small bar area. Pretty ideal for a date Tala the server was very friendly in a genuine way which is perfect. Attentive but not overbearing I was there for restaurant week and chose the 3 course menu Asparagus soup. This was absolutely phenomenal. It had a creamy buttery flavor to it and just superb. One of the best soups I've ever had. It's worth coming here just for the soup Rib-eye. It was a thin ribeye cooked well with the fat rendered. The mushroom sauce could have been little more flavorful but the mushrooms in it were very tasty and if you added in some of the mashed potatoes it all went really well together. The taters had a slight cheesey flavor. Brocolinni was cooked perfect and very fresh Tiramisu. Very well made and you could taste the real espresso flavor. There were some strawberries on top and chocate drizzle. The extra cream on the side was delicious and had maybe a hint of lemon or citrus Recommended for sure

Yelp
We came for SDRW on a Saturday at 7pm and as expected they were very busy likely more than they are used to since service was a little slow. The hostess and server were great and very attentive despite the wait from the bar and kitchen. The SDRW menu were specials and only a few things were from their regular menu and they did not offer any pizzas that night. My friends steak was over cooked but they replaced her dish. The food was hit and miss. I had the Linguine with shrimp in a saffron cream sauce and my husband has the Sugo and Polpette. My friends bucatini Cacio and Pepe was too peppery. The salmon was as under. Their cocktails were the star of the show. The Watermelon Berry Sangria, Secret of Juliet and Roman Sunset were all superb and reasonable priced. I would return for the drinks and courteous service but the food was just ok and inconsistent.

Yelp
Came with a group of friends for Restaurant Week, so understandably the restaurant was much busier than usual, but the food was lacking. From the Restaurant Week menu we tried the asparagus soup (served luke warm), the ribeye (asked for medium rare but was served well done) and the tiramisu (this was good, no complaints). Also tried the Cacio e Pepe pasta since it is their namesake dish, but this was much too peppery to be enjoyable. The drinks were solid and I did enjoy my cocktail. The service was mostly good and the decor is ok, but all in all I don't plan to return.

Yelp
I came here with friends, and we really enjoyed the drinks, food, and atmosphere. Starting off with drinks, we ordered: -Mango Sangria: This came with white wine, fresh mango puree, orange juice, lemon juice, lemon/lime soda. This drink was light and refreshing. -Secret of Juliet: This was by far the prettiest drink out of the four. It had gin, elderflower, fresh strawberries, rose water, lemon juice, and rose petals. My friend loved this one. -Mamma Mia: This had rum, berries, mint, zucchero, lemon juice, and sparkling water. This was well balanced, and I enjoyed the rum. Food: -Pappardelle Ragu: This was cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the meat sauce. -Sugo e Polpette: This pasta dish had a wine tomato sauce, and came with meatballs, Italian sausage, and baby pork ribs. This is great for meat lovers. -Cacio e Pepe Pizza: This had burrata, truffle, pecorino, and black pepper. This was tasty, but I wish it came with a bit more burrata. The service was prompt and efficient. They didn't make us feel rushed at all. I would definitely return here!

Yelp
The cocktails were absolutely adorable and delicious. Limoncello is one of my favorites and this drink was done so well. Despite this the food was very average. The Cacio e Pepe was bland and my friend's pizza was too thick. I went on a Sunday night and they were definitely understaffed. I'm not sure if I would go back for the food but would be interested in trying the bar in back.

Yelp
We tried this place during restaurant week. The appetizers left a lot to be desired. However, the place is very cute and the atmosphere feels authentic. The service was good. Everyone was friendly. My favorite dish would have to be the Tuscan salmon. The sauce on top was so creamy and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the blanched tomatoes on top were perfect addition. I would definitely come back to try that again.

Yelp
This was our first time coming here since we wanted some pizza and pasta. We came right at opening and didn't have to wait. We started off with their bread appetizer. Wish the butter wouldn't have been as frozen but it's understandable as they had just opened. Then we had their cacio e Pepe and their potato and sausage pizza. The sauce on the pasta was phenomenal but special should out to the crispy potatoes on the pizza. Ended the night with their homemade limoncello cake. Really refreshing would highly recommend. Tala was our server and was great. Special shoutout to the chef who whipped up some homemade ranch (that tasted even BETTER than any ranch I'd ever had) since I am one of those crazy people who loves ranch on pizza. In all honesty the food all around was alright but that going out of their way to make homemade ranch? That's reason to come back alone. Parking is street parking or a block or two east there's the parking structure.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for Restaurant week, where Cacio E Pepe had their set menu. We began with drinks, and I got the Limoncello Martini. For my starter, I got the Artichoke appetizer, and for my main I got a Pulled Beef over mashed potatoes! (Sorry I don't remember the exact names) We all got the Tiramisu as our dessert. Limoncello Martini: This was not too sweet, which is how I like my drinks! It had a really strong lemon flavor, and was exactly strong enough. This comes with an entire popsicle inside, which changes the flavor slightly as it melts. Artichoke (Carciofi Alla Giudia): This was my favorite dish of the night; the artichoke was balanced perfectly with the sauce, and the roasted flavor worked well with it too. The bread it came with was so crunchy and flavorful. Our waiter recommended this, and I'm glad I took the rec! Pulled Beef: The meat was really soft, and the mashed potatoes underneath were really creamy. So yummy! Tiramisu: This came in a generous serving, and had a really strong coffee flavor. It was delicious and came with blackberries which paired so well! The service was amazing, and our waiters were so friendly and attentive despite the full restaurant. It was such a cute indoor/outdoor restaurant as well with really cozy decor. I am definitely coming back :)

Yelp
OK - my last experience with NP Italian was pretty awful - and that place closed.- - so I wasn't coming in with the highest of expectations. I really wasn't - and our waiter, Fernando, recommended a few of the more fancy Italian dishes - like those lamb chops that passed by - those looked amazing. But I'm old school - you always judge an Italian restaurant by how good its pasta is. Amazing - my dish was stunning. Pasta was fresh, homemade and the sauce had just the right amount of sweet & hint of spice. That meatball almost made me cry it was so tender. The only thing I didn't like was the pork spareribs because they were really dry. My date got the prawns - and they were cooked to perfection. The desert menu was also amazing with a callout to the cannoli - that filling was out of this world. If you are in the area - definitely worth the stop. There's even little speakeasy bar in the back!

Yelp
The signature dish is outstanding! Fresh ground pepper is very prominent in this recipe, so if you like it less peppery, you have been notified. But I loved it. My wife also had the pecorino WINE and it was outstanding! A nice semi-dry white that paired well with the Cacio e Pepe. The decor here is lovely and the service is exceptional. We especially loved meeting and talking to Tala. She was so sweet and lovely and very knowledgeable about the food and wine.

Yelp
Food 7/10 Service 6/10 Ambiance 8/10 Came here for my anniversary dinner and it was ok. Food was decent but I was very turned off by our waiter. She wasn't attentive or friendly. She took forever to get our order and seemed to be annoyed when I'd ask questions about the menu. She didn't really check on us and seemed to be super dismissive. We came on a week day at night and it wasn't busy at all. Loved how beautifully decorated the place was. Not sure if I'd want to come back, but I'm glad I tried something new.

Yelp
Mediocre Italian. My cocktail was beautiful but not that delicious (cleopatra). I was looomg forward to the cheese wheel pasta until I learned there was only a seafood option. The carbonara was salty and not flavorful. Chicken parm was decent but served cold. My favorite part of the meal was the artichoke appetizer. The biggest disappointment was dessert - both the tiramisu and cannoli were off the mark. And the latte was served in a small cappuccino cup.

Yelp
Food was good! The calamari was great and loved the side salad on the plate that helped lighten the dish. Our server Gloria was wonderful, attentive and personable.

Yelp
The revolving door continues at this North Park corner suite. The owners have rebranded from a tarot-themed bar/restaurant to a more conventional Italian eatery. Cacio e Pepe is at least the third Italian concept that has recently debuted from the San Diego Dining Group. I was not aware until afterward, but there was a speakeasy in the rear that still serves up the libations of its predecessor. Weekends feature brunch from 9 am to 2 pm and then happy hour from 2 pm to 4 pm. In a back corner near the kitchen was a chamber that displayed cured meats and fresh pasta hanging from multiple racks. A six-seat countertop bar was to the left of that setup. The rest of the room could hold about 50 diners while some sidewalk tables were available for al fresco dining. The food menu listed the typical Italian categories of antipasti, insalate, sides, pasta, pizzas, and entrees. There was a stuffed version of pizza available too which not many places offer. My selection was the Sugo e Polpette. Meatballs, Italian sausage, and baby pork ribs were cooked in a wine tomato sauce with twisted pasta strands, gemelli(?). The server grated some fresh pecorino cheese on top of the dish. The serving size was not huge, however it was priced very reasonably at under $20. The meat on the ribs was very tender and flavorful. I preferred the version here compared to one I recently sampled in the Kensington neighborhood.

Yelp
Came for weekend brunch as it opened it was empty except for 1 other table. I got the Uova e Bradato (braised short ribs on creamy polenta with poached eggs) I was so good, the short ribs were very tender and tasty. The polenta was very soft and the jus from the short ribs and the sauce mixed well and added great flavor. The runny yolks of the poached eggs added a luscious texture. Service was really friendly and attentive. I can't believe how empty this place is. The food was great, I wanted to lick the plate! I'll be back again for brunch and for dinner.

Yelp
Cacio e Pepe is just getting underway in North Park, taking over the Seventh House. Ownership is the same, but the trattoria offers a new interior look, a new menu with new flavors, and some new staff members. Like its predecessor, Cacio e Pepe also offers breakfast or brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, which is the time I came in. I ordered the Greek omelet with Ciabatta toast. The omelet was good. They eggs were fluffy but a little under seasoned. The ingredients, especially the roasted tomatoes, were tasty. The omelet also came with olives, feta, and spinach with a side of roasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes were good too, but they too could have benefited from a touch of seasoning. I ate at the bar, and the service was pretty friendly. I look forward to returning to try the Roman pizzas or "Pinsas."

Yelp
Went for dinner with my best friend on Sunday and it was so delicious. The vibe was great, it wasn't packed and it wasn't loud. It was the perfect environment to catch up and enjoy a delicious meal. For my cocktail I had the Secret of Juliet, it was cute and the presentation was different (I believe the rose water was sprayed on it). For appetizer we had Bruschetta a la Romana (great flavor). My entree was Bucatini Cacio e Pepe (the best pasta I've had in a long time!) I added shrimp and it was even better. My best friend had the Pollo Cacciotore and said it was delicious (she even took her leftovers). The service was great and our host Tala was awesome. She was in top of everything. She took very good care of us and made sure we ended the night with great dessert....Tiramisu. Freshly made and was worth saving room for it. Highly recommend it this place and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Overall food was great, the ragú was a bit salty imo but was still good. The service was amazing, we got seated right away. It was a Thursday so the ambiance was a little calmer which was nice. Overall nothing special imo but would come again :)

Yelp
Lovely Italian restaurant. My family and I visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We happened to go during Taste of SD week so they had some prefixe menu. All delicious! We enjoyed the ribeye, the airline chicken and hubby ordered lasagna. Generous portions and the food was delicious! Great service too.. Tala was our waitress, very personable and friendly! Oh, she recommended the Asparagus soup and it was delicious! Thank you for a lovely dinner and celebration...

Yelp
Visited this Italian spot for a dinner on Saturday night. Started off bad and ended worse - while open table showed free tables for the remainder of the night upon arriving we were told there was a 30 minute wait. After sitting down, the restaurant decorations were nice but the menus were odd. One was laminated and the others were not. It took 15 minutes for the hostesss turned waitress to take our drink order, then another 30-40 mins for her to take our food order - only taking our order after having to flag her down. She was too busy flirting with the bartender. The food - came out cold and had clearly been sitting for a long time. The pasta was alright but would have much better served warm and fresh. Upon requesting the check, it took an additional. 30 minutes to find the waitress who we later learned was the manager. Again, talking with the bartender not facing us at all. Disappeared to the back. Finally getting her attention, we got that check and short speech from her about how she hated when people come in late to eat and how she received a bad review from yelp that day - sorry to break it to you but I think I know why. Will probably not come back and would not recommend.

Yelp
First time here since their opening. When I walked it, I immediately noticed that the space was smaller for those who use to come to Seventh House because they put a wall up to divide Cacio e Pepe and Seventh House Speakeasy. But it was very nice inside, I actually liked it smaller, it felt more intimate. The place was not too busy when we arrived, but our waitress was great, even offering suggestions she liked and was very attentive. Now the food, it was amazing and we will be back. We stated out with the artichokes as an appetizer which was to die for as I needed more bread to soak up the juice, followed by a salad. Although the salad just had lettuce and tomatoes the dressing was tasty. For the main course, we had the LINGUINE AI GAMBERI and the MELANZANE PARMIGIANA which was to die for. PLUS, Seventh House is now a speakeasy behind Cacio e Pepe.. Great times.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of the cacio e pepe dish as an Italian so I had high expectations for this spot. The bruschetta appetizer was AMAZING. My favorite quality in an italian spot is having minimal high quality & fresh ingredients like EVOO and tomatoes. This place definitely delivered. The service and ambiance were 5/5. I'd give the cacio e pepe a 4/5 only because of the dominating truffle flavor. I love simple cacio e pepe so that did throw me off. Delicious and would return nonetheless :)

Yelp
My husband and I had a lovely time at Cacio e Pepe! The food was delicious. Norma was our server and she was so attentive, answered our questions and very good at her job. This was our second time there to eat and drink and we will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I love this place! The decor/aesthetic is just phenomenal! They really knocked it out of the park, creating a beautiful atmosphere that transports you to Italy. The food is delicious and you can tell some love went into it. I visited a couple of weeks ago and decided to stop by for take out. Tala and Sofia took such good care of me while I waited for my pizza margherita to be ready. This is a top notch team and I'm so lucky to have this place across the street from me. I sat at the bar and all I can say is, man, what a clean bar! It's those small details that mean a lot. It's those small things that truly display the level of attention to detail at Cacio e Pepe. I 100% recommend visiting The Seventh House, the absolutely GORGEOUS speak easy in back after you've enjoyed a lovely meal at Cacio e Pepe. I see myself becoming a regular here, whether it is sitting at the bar for happy hour or getting take away.

Yelp
My friend and I ate there on a sat night . Not busy at all. I had the Chicken Marsala and he had Chicken Parm . My chicken was dry over cooked the marsala sauce was like water with no flavor , my friend Chicken Parm was just ok he said and didn't look all that great. The service was slow and waiter didn't even know the difference between out two dishes , keep saying my marsala was the chicken parm.. We had to correct him nd then he finally agreed, none the less , I won't be going back to this place. I could have done way better somewhere else for 28.00 . Get it together guys. You weren't that busy , both my fiend and I would never recommend this place for food or service.

Yelp
Cacio e Pepe Trattoria Romana has large portions for a reasonable price. However the service and flavors needed some tweaking to make this restaurant memorable. Parking was a tad difficult despite coming in for an early dinner. We were the only table seated for 40 minutes yet the food took equally as long to come out. Our server was also the bartender and she was quick with my cocktail. =ORDERED= *Linguini Zozzona: tomato sauce with onions and pancetta. The linguini was a tad overdone but the portion was easily shareable amongst 2. I wished the onions were cooked a little longer as the sauce was on the brighter and acidic side. The amongst of pancetta was generous and contributed a savory element. I couldn't really taste the egg yolk so wasn't very creamy. *Bucatini Amatriciana: the pasta was rather mushy. The tomato sauce was similar and I would have preferred it to be spicer. The portion was also generous. *Barbabietola: whipped lemon ricotta, smoked hot honey, candied walnuts and mustard seed atop mixed greens. The menu listed balsamic pearls but the salad was covered in a balsamic vinaigrette instead. The honey wasn't noticeable and the ricotta was subtly lemony. I wished the toppings to greens ratio was a bit more even but it was still refreshing. *Secret of Juliet: had a performative aspect with a spray of rose water upon being presented at the table. Tasted fruity and floral in all the best ways. I found the pricing for the cocktails to be reasonable. There was a lot of potential and I found everything to be priced appropriately. However I didn't find the pasta to be astounding for me to wait 40 minutes. I'll probably stick to the cocktails and take the food to go.

Yelp
The setting is nice. I got the artichoke appetizer and I got the risotto. The food was very good. My friend got pasta and she said was very good. The amount of food was great for the price. We both agreed we would come back here again. The risotto was so good that i am almost order another one to have for lunch tommorow.

Got delivery through Grubhub and the food came thoughtfully packaged and hot. The artichoke appetizer was so well cooked. Very flavorful and tender yet simple. Highly recommend! The bucatini cacio e Pepe had good flavor but was too salty and I struggled to finish it as it felt saltier as the meal went on. The pasta with meatballs sausage and baby back ribs was as meaty as advertised and also very tender. My husband felt the sauce was a bit bland but I felt that it let each meat shine through. We ordered pizza for our kid and I was confused by the descriptions and opted for the more expensive of the two mozzarella tomato basil options (the Pomodorino) which actually meant no red sauce but more cheese than it looks like the Margherita had. We liked it but my daughter didn't eat it. I hope the saltiness with my dish was a fluke as I would gladly order here again otherwise. Great quality and reasonable prices. Happy they offer delivery options as it's hard to get out with our kid.

Yelp
Staff was the standout for me, all were warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the bruschetta romana and pepperoni pizza; the crust was airy with the right amount of char, and no skimping on the cheese. The restaurant is rather small, probably best for a date night - especially as their outdoor tables are all two tops. Interested to try some of their other menu options!

Yelp
We had such a wonderful datenight here last week. It's such a cute spot with cozy booths and rustic kitchen decor. We were seated promptly and our servers were very attentive, helping us narrow down our choices so we got a good variety of items to share and to take home for our babysitter. We tried: Mamma Mia Secret of Juliet Tiramisu Martini Tortino de Patete & Panceta Barbabietola Cacio E Pepe Sugo e Polpette Patete e Salsiccia pizza Brazatto Pana Cotta Simple as it may seem, the cacio e pepe pasta is incredible here. The Sugo e Polpette is pasta loaded with huge meatballs, pork ribs and sausage- carnivore hubby's dream. The braised short rib was so fork tender. The panna cota was just ok but the Tiramisu Martini after dinner was the best dessert ever. Secret of Juliet was such a lovely cocktail too, and they serve it with a fresh spritz of rose water when they bring it out! We def wanna come back and check out their brunch sometime.

Yelp
Went here for a romantic date night and it was so fantastic! The wait staff was so sweet and they had great recommendations! All of the food we ordered was delicious and I felt that the price point was so good especially for the quality. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Been here for dinner and brunch. Dinner was decent. Brunch is a hard NO for us. We got the "Cesar" salad. Which tasted nothing like Cesar or really anything. It mentioned there was lemon involved. Couldn't taste it. I got the short rib polenta with poached eggs. Polenta was good, short rib was a bit dry, could have used more sauce, the eggs were hard boiled, fully cooked hard yolk. Under seasoned in general. The caprese sandwich, was the most boring thing I've ever received at a restaurant. ZERO seasoning, not a fleck of salt or pepper to be found lol. If you're going to do simple, add GOOD olive oil, or balsamic. Something to give it flavor but also basic seasoning, salt and pepper. For dinner: We got a salad- and the description is so vague, it was a beet salad but never mentioned it had beets in it lol. It was good, but would have been nice to know it was a beet salad. We had to get the caccio Pepe, it was decent, definitely missing the Parmesan in it, couldn't really tell there was truffle involved but overall it's a pretty decent caccio Pepe. Ametriana- I haven't seen this outside of Rome very often, so I was excited. I thought this was great, would be back for this. Wine is priced very reasonably

Yelp
My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday dinner and everything was amazing! There was one girl working front of house, bar included (Tyla I think) and she was very friendly and attentive. Our appetizers were brought out before our main dishes so we had time to enjoy them, which we always appreciate. We had three appetizers before even getting to the pasta!! Everything was amazing! I will be recommending this place to everyone.

Yelp
The ambiance is the first to notice. There are unique wall decors with a welcoming and cozy, yet modern vibe. Food is fresh, delicious and creative. portions are quite large as well. The service is also amazing. The staff are friendly, patient and really made the evening memorable. I tried the Zaffron (saffron) shrimp linguine. It was creamy, soft with the exactly enough hint of saffron.

Yelp
First time trying Cacio e Pepe tonight and it was delicious. We would order everything again next time, but we want to try more items! We ordered the arugula salad, mushroom ravioli, roasted potatoes and the tiramisu. Outstanding! Really good. We will be back!

Yelp
My partner and I have been patiently awaiting their opening for several weeks and let me tell ya we were not disappointed! We ordered the Pane Fresco (a must), Burrata e Prosciutto, and the Cacio e Pepe (obviously had too) and everything was amazing! Beautifully remodeled with authentic Italian decor and wonderful ambiance, I felt transported to the Italian countryside. The service was exceptional, our server Tala was a treasure, we can't wait to go back and see her again soon! 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Just wow. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, and the service was exceptional. Sat at the bar with Alejandro who was busy but still social. PS ask about the speakeasy. That was another fun experience.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day. They had a set meal that was $65 a person, and it was the biggest SCAM of all time. The appetizer that I had that was goat cheese wrapped in bacon came with two of the smallest pieces I've ever seen and was DRENCHED in balsamic vinegar. Our pasta was undercooked and stuck together. The meat had no flavor at all. We didn't even stay for the dessert that we had already paid for because we were so disappointed in our experience. Not to mention the atmosphere was awful as well and smelt of mold. I feel bad for the workers there.

Yelp
Small, quaint place. Good service. Very Good food IMO. We ordered a Caesar salad, fruiti di Mari (fried squid, shrimp) and I had the lamb chop special. I found all of these dishes to be finely prepared - enough spice/salt, crispy but not heavy, bitter arugula lettuce with squid was enjoyable. The lamb chops were excellent. You could tell they were prepared with love, not just cooked as they had lots of flavor, texture and juicy. I used to work in a classy European restaurant and believe the quality of cooking at this place to be on par with the best I have been to. Prices were not cheap, but not out of line imo. I recommend it!

Yelp
The service is A plus, the food excellent, fresh pasta, and the ambiance is chill. They were able to make all of our food vegan as they were not busy; Which tells me everything that's made. There is fresh order very hard to find nowadays and a lot of the restaurants as everyone's trying to make a profit.

Yelp
Great service. Good food. My friend and I came for restaurant week and was served 3 courses. The Tiramisu was very good. Vibes are cute, parking is street parking so come a little early before your reservation. I would come again in the distant future.

Yelp
Had the most amazing meal at this restaurant. Our server was Tala and she was absolutely fabulous. I am so impressed with her ability to recall all of our orders plus allergies and maintain such a positive energy. Only downside was as it got busy I noticed people were waiting longer to be waited on. Our water was empty and we never got it refilled. Honestly other than that (which is so minor) it was a great experience. If you're gluten and dairy free you are safe here!
