"At the corner of Grand and Union in Williamsburg is Café Argentino, which offers a mix of updated and classic Argentinian dishes. They currently have both indoor and outdoor dining, but try to get a seat inside to experience the vintage decor that feels straight out of an old Buenos Aires cafe. The empanadas are handmade and baked to order, and include queso (provolone with olive oil and oregano), pollo (slow-cooked, shredded chicken with peppers and onions), and the Malbec, a family recipe of tender braised beef. Empanadas come two per order for $10 and if you’re lucky, you might get to experience some live music or tango as well, which they do often." - Monica Prestia

Food was great. We came as a group of 15 and they were happy to accommodate us. Service was a bit slow at times (took about 30 minutes to get the check after asking) but there's a lot going on and on a Friday night they were very busy, as expected in this area. We ended up here for about 4 hours when I feel like we only needed maybe 2.5 hours. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. The flamenco dancer(s) and employees made eating here feel like we were extended family. I'd go back for sure.

Great location, food was really good. We got as appetizers a combination of empanadas, and all of them were delicious! My personal favorite was the ham and cheese. The place decor is nice and very nice and neat! If you are driving, be aware the street parking gets very crowded in the afternoon in the area. A must have is the Churrasco and the Sangria. The sangrias are prepare at the moment of order and they are always fresh! For dessert, the Flan Casero with Dulce de Leche is absolutely delicious.

From the moment you walk into this"cafe" you are greeted with a warm welcome from one of the staff members. The restaurant engulfs you with it's cozy decor. The Soft, warm lights surround you. The live music is inviting and makes time disappear. This wonderful restaurant provides a small escape from reality. The food is amazing!! From the spinach empanadas to the parrillada for two. I loved the Merlot! Will definitely be returning. Thank you for making this celebration dinner special.

Very happy with my dining experience and will definitely be back. Food was good and service was great! Our waitress came back often to check in on everything throughout the evening. Ordered the Malbec empanadas which were probably my favorite, Yum! For dinner went with the skirt steak and the ribeye. I preferred the ribeye, but the skirt steak definitely made great leftovers. Mashed potatoes weren't to my liking but the fries were good. And the sangria?? Delicious!!!!!

Loved this place. I came here with a friend on a Saturday night around 7pm and we were seated right away. The way they greeted us was so friendly that I had to question whether I'd been there before and they remembered me (I wasn't lol). We ordered the Malbec empanadas, Mollejas, and the the biste chorizo. The empanadas were delicious and I would highly recommend. I had never had mollejas before and was not familiar with what it was; it tasted like scrambled eggs. My friend didn't care for it (it gets just a shrug from me). My chorizo steak was cooked perfectly! I asked for medium well and got medium well. It was very tasty. I also ordered the asparagus and french fries; they were good as well. For dessert we got the dulce de leche crepe; very very tasty but not overly sweet. At 8pm they had live music; the singer was incredible. Overall, great experience, every single staff member was very friendly and very attentive, and I would be happy to go back again.
