"This new coffee shop and wine bar takes over the space formerly occupied by Buzz Coffee and Winehouse off Cascade. With events like hosted movie nights and live music, Cafe Bartique seems to be keeping up the same community energy as Buzz, so we're prepared to like it." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

"With events like hosted movie nights, after 5pm wine, and live music, Cafe Bartique is a great place to meet up with friends for drinks and light bites. Taking over the Buzz Coffee space in Cascade, the cafe keeps the same community energy while swapping the old black decor for shades of bright green. And it showcases a love for all things Atlanta with drinks and sandwiches named after local landmarks, colleges, and celebrities. Ordering a Shawty Lo just sounds better than asking for an espresso with steamed milk. But until we can make that as universally accepted as an Arnold Palmer, we'll come here for a Shawty Lo and our favorite sandwich, the Spelman Chick, a tasty chicken salad on a croissant." - Jacinta Howard

Great staff, really good study/remote work spot! Lots of outlet plus under every table. Clean and cool atmosphere. Parking on street and there was a parking lot to the side but I’m not sure if I was allowed to park there- staff said it was ok to park there. Located on their little downtown-y strip. Small but cute.

If you're looking for a welcoming, cozy spot to enjoy delicious coffee, look no further than Cafe Bartique. This Black-owned gem has quickly become my favorite local haunt. The vibe is perfect for everything from quiet study sessions to remote work, or even just unwinding with a great cup of joe. Not only is the coffee rich and flavorful, but the service is outstanding. When I mentioned that I have a gluten allergy, they went above and beyond, offering to obtain gluten-free bread for me! It’s rare to find a place that truly cares about the individual needs of its customers, and that level of care has made me a loyal fan. The environment at Cafe Bartique strikes the ideal balance of relaxing and productive—great for those who want a peaceful spot to focus, or for those simply in the mood to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a warm, inviting space, Cafe Bartique has it all. Highly recommend!

I’m not from Atlanta, and Starbucks is usually my go-to spot, but today I decided to switch things up—and WOW, what an incredible experience! Café Bartique is a charming boutique-style coffee shop that feels like a hidden gem. The intimate, cozy ambiance immediately set the tone for a perfect lunch and work session. I ordered the Salmich and paired it with the Caan vs. Can espresso. The Salmich is a masterpiece: flaky, toasted croissant stuffed with a lightly seasoned salmon salad, perfectly complemented by fresh tomato, lettuce, and onion. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, and the pickle wedge on the side added just the right tangy touch (bonus points because I LOVE pickles!). As for the espresso—wow. The Caan vs. Can is a creamy, rich blend with the perfect balance of caramel and pecan flavors. Every sip was smooth and indulgent, topped with a froth that carried the same delightful flavors all the way through. To top it off, the café is decked out in festive holiday décor, making it an even cozier spot to settle in with my laptop and espresso. If you’re looking for a flavorful, filling lunch and an indulgent pick-me-up in a relaxed, intimate setting, Café Bartique should be at the top of your list. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, treat yourself to this unforgettable experience—you won’t regret it!

We had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Bartique today and had a wonderful experience. The grand opening was a few days and shop looks like it. Everything was clean and polished, the decor is beautiful, and the atmosphere inviting. Great service, delicious food, and tasty drinks. I had the “Morehouse Man” paired with a “Breakfast Sandwich,”that I loved, we will definitely be coming back!

Adorable little shop! I had a luscious iced latte (Creme of the Crop). The names on their menus are witty and fun. I look forward to coming back to try more!

I stopped by this café for a regular Saturday morning visit and stumbled upon a delightful gem! This locally-owned spot turned out to be the perfect excuse to enjoy healthy, delicious food. The salmon dip was absolutely to die for, and the Morehouse Macchiato was a delightful treat. The service was exceptional, which is refreshing to see—good customer service is truly making a comeback in Atlanta. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
What went well EVERYTHING! Great menu for small bites - the dip dip baby was an unexpected delight along with my "Caan Can Pecan latte". Good service and host staff who checked in to ensure we were satisfied with our food. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, I also love the selfie seat area(just what us yelper's need!) Looking forward to making this a regular.

Yelp
I love coming here to work and grab a coffee! I was so sad when BUZZ closed but am happy that another Black-owned place took its place. I loved the Morehouse drink, and the music is a great vibe. A lot of the people are regulars and it has a Cheers vibe to it where people have community (esp folks working remote). Service is nice and I am so excited to make this a continued and regular spot!

Yelp
As a Cascade resident, it's so nice to have another coffee shop again! Not only is this conveniently located, ownership has taken pride in adding their own FLAVOR to the space and the items served. Upon entry Marlana was warm and friendly. I ordered a regular black coffee (I know I'm am no fun) which was piping hot and perfect. After spending a few hours working I ordered the Turkey Chili (love the protein variety!) and a Turtle cookie to go! If you're looking to be in a hospitable environment while getting work done or catching up with friend - this is your spot.

Yelp
New coffee shop & wine bar in the neighborhood! Had to check it out. Stopped in the shop after yoga which was sponsored in partnership with the Cafe. There is a nice menu with coffees, of course, teas, and pastries. They also offer light bites and sandwiches including croissants and clubs. I had the Spelman Chick. I don't always love chicken salad but it was so good! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I love it here!! FYI There is street parking available. Unsure on the adjacent lots.

Yelp
I love supporting Black owned businesses in my neighborhood. This used to be BUZZ coffee but unfortunately they closed their business. I'm happy Cafe Bartique has taken over and kept the same lovely vibes going. Everyone was so nice and friendly when I came by. It felt like family which I really enjoyed. I also love that this place is walking distance from me. I will be back. If you're in the area, please check them out!

Yelp
The food was SO good. Cafe Bartique has the best breakfast sandwich & I was impressed by how good the croissant was, very buttery. The drink was made perfect in every aspect. &, Service was amazing because they are all very friendly and involved.

Yelp
New coffee shop in Cascade Heights. This has been my go-to place since they opened I've already been 3 times in one week. Love the drink options including the Morehouse Macchiato and the Dr. Williams which is mocha based drink. Really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich as well. The staff are super friendly and the owner greeted and chatted with me which was amazing. Love supporting small businesses. Great space to read, catch up with friends, and lunch meetings.

Yelp
Thank heavens for this establishment! I came here on a whim to get some work done. I had a large coffee and their chicken salad sandwich, and good lord. I might dream about that sandwich later tonight, it was so perfect and delicious. The ambiance in here is also super cute, and all the employees are so kind. I'll definitely be back to try their other sandwiches and drinks. Apparently their chicken salad sandwich isn't even the best item on the menu according to one of the workers

Yelp
I love it here! It's cozy, comfortable, and feels like being at home. The food options are great and the beverages are superb!

Yelp
What a great beacon in the neighborhood. The coffee, food, and atmosphere were the perfect respite on an August day.

Yelp
Great environment, great service and the food was great. A family owned business is very impressive. Plus, you get live entertainment on Friday nights. Gotta love it!

Danielle W.

Yelp
The ambiance is amazing. Cascade needed this! This cute cafe is open from morning to night. I will be bringing my laptop here more often. The owners are very sweet. Ask for Devyn

Yelp
I am so happy to be able to get a great cup of coffee and sandwich right here in our community. Not only is the coffee delicious... the family operation makes me feel at home.
