Yelp
Always pleasant, even when quite busy. People friendly, many families and groups as well as a few 2- tops. Staff works well together for all desires. Interesting location near TCU, Trinity Episcopal, and St Andrews church, in a neighborhood. Inside refurbished 2024, outside shopping center now underway. Lots of parking, way lot in the shopping center attached lot. They will get back the patio tables for nearly 100 once finished. But without encouragement, tables cycle to keep the wait line moving.
*Byob, they pop the cork at seating and already have the table set for wine glasses, about 20% bring a bottle or 2.
Great specials, house specials, variety. Good lemon, fish, chicken and baked items. Buns with good basil garlic oil dipping sauce, plate servings good sized, over half of tables take some take home packs.
Kiddie section on menu, they seat family style often in one of the rooms. Loudness is of course different for kids than adult seating, but neither prevents usual conversation.
Flavor sauces just right, not making entries swim, nor bring dry. Good for the buns to drip.
*Salads on the menu to add chicken or such to make it a light meal are great! Not highly mentioned a side salad for $3 is quite good, with homemade sauces.
*Grocery store on the block if wanting to pick up a bottle of wine.
Orders brought at a good tempo for a relaxing meal.
I've come to Cafe Bella about once a year for the past 30 years, when wanting a great meal and a bit less noise than many other Italians in Fort Worth. So a cut above even if a few minutes farther drive. Will be nicer when the sidewalk and patio construction complete, but don't let that stop you even now. Saturday about 6pm it filled up, but not too long a wait for a table of 2-5 people. Go for it!
