A Westcliff standby where owner Eli Golemi’s personal touch and BYOB policy keep regulars returning for garlic rolls, baked ziti, and old‑school comfort. Featured by Fort Worth Magazine, it’s a heartfelt neighborhood dinner choice.

Quaint neighborhood Italian place. Sorry about the pics- I will be back. First the food was fantastic! Had the chicken Marsala & chicken piccata - excellent! Service was very slow- however they were very friendly! Atmosphere was very nice. Definitely recommend! Prices are very reasonable!

Had my first takeout lunch and it was so DELICIOUS! I would like to come back and dine in in the future because it looks like perfect place to relax and unwind.

I had dinner at Café Bella with my friends, and we all loved it! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent, friendly, fast, and attentive. I personally enjoyed the Grilled Salmon Piccata, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Baked Ziti was also amazing, warm and comforting just like homemade. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxing dinner. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!!

Didn't know what to expect. Amazing ambiance and the food and service were great. Definitely want to go back. I wish it was closer to where we live. We were attending an event at TCU and it is right down the street. The server recommended the Chicken Limonita and it didn't disappoint.

First of all: Cafe Bella just recently got an UPGRADE! They just renovated their space and they did a very nice job modernizing the space. The restaurant still retains their previous atmosphere of attainable-yet-upscale comfort, but upgraded the old drywall walls to some sleek, black-framed translucent space dividers. I would highly recommend the environment for any dates, a great place to take your parents, or nice family dinners. Don't forget it's BYOB, so bring that bottle of wine you've been saving for a nice occasion. For the food: I believe I have found my favorite place in Fort Worth for Veal Piccata. Their lemon-caper cream sauce was divine, and the angel hair that accompanied it perfectly al dente. The veal was perfectly, minimally breaded and cooked to perfection, but retained enough breading to hold onto the sauce well. For comparison's sake: if you've ever had Paesano's version of it, let's just say Bella's version will be an even better experience. My partner had the Penne Arrabiata, and it was equally as good for those who prefer a hearty, tomato-based, very flavorful dish with sausage. I personally like to see more spice in an arrabiata, but it can always be added with the crushed red pepper they offer, so it's great for non-spice-lovers as well. Overall, I have already returned to and will continue to frequent Cafe Bella. Highly recommend as one of the must-stop Italian places in Fort Worth.

We’ve heard of Cafe Bella from our close friends so we decided to go. The atmosphere was very nice, food was good but the service was the worst experience we’ve ever had. The waitress brought us our food, but no condiments or grated cheese, salt or pepper. We also didn’t get our teas. The only time she came back to check on us is when we were through and leaving. We are not going back. It was sadly the worst evening we’ve ever had. Our waiter’s name was Stefi, Stesi, something like that.

Google
Great place for some awesome food, great service and can enjoy inside or on the patio. BYOB keeps the check very low. Awesome place that everyone should go to (just not all on Saturday evenings so I can have my table without waiting) lol

Yelp
I visited a week ago with my parents at Cafe Bella. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. The host welcomed us with warm pleasantries. Cafe Bella lets you bring your own wine without a corkage fee. My mother ordered a special, off menu item and step dad ordered the Chicken Parmesan. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. All plates were well prepared. The atmosphere was delightful with a hint of coziness.

Yelp
This was my 1st time eating at Café Bella. I have lived within 2 miles of this restaurant since 2012 & refused to eat here until today. I grew up in an Italian household & my Nana made the best homemade Italian food. Until today, every time I have eaten at an Italian restaurant, I have been horribly disappointed! Today was totally different!! If my Nana were still here, I would bring her to this restaurant!! My Nana would love this food!!! But, also, the aroma of all the fresh roses when you 1st walk in the door! The aroma is divine! The food is straight from Heaven!! It is so good, every bite was like your tastebuds orbiting to another world! The gentleman that waited on us was kind & attentive! I should have asked him if my Nana was in the kitchen!! I sure do miss my Nana but coming to Café Bella was like having my Nana back again!! This is one of the best restaurants in all of Ft. Worth... possibly the entire United States!

Yelp
Girls night was a hit! Beautiful decor and ambience update since our last visit. We were comforted from appetizer, entree, & dessert with our choices. The calamari was ok; need a bit more of flavor and crunch. My chicken piccata was lemony light satisfaction. My friends devoured their eggplant Parmigiana with traditional and another substituted Alfredo sauce. We chatted & gabbed over our BYOB delicious Cabernet. Tge tiramisu was good with a lovely presentation. It gets busy around 6 pm on a weekend but seemed efficient. No reservations so be aware of wait times. A definition gem that I'm glad we have!

Yelp
Decorated so nice. Mood lighting :) amazing food. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. Bread was delicious. Bring your own wine

Yelp
The food is excellent and the service is superb. Be aware they only serve coffee and water. So bring your beverage of choice.

Yelp
No questions, 10 STARS! Everything still holds true from my review in 2019... Cafe Bella is truly a hometown treasure! The owner and wait staff are kind, friendly and perfectly attentive. Kristy, our families favorite, has the warmest personality ever! She will make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. Any waiter or waitress will take great care of you, though. All you'll have to do is worry about the conversation happening at your table. You'll begin your meal with a plump bread roll and fancy oil dip. The oil is filled with fresh herbs and spices - don't be afraid to ask for more! I personally add a heaping amount of Parmesan cheese to mine and touch of pepper. It's addictive, beware. Next, you'll order your main dish. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I can say that with confidence, because I've almost had everything on it or bummed a bite off my better half's plate. My favorite is STILL anything with their pink sauce with my front runners being the Eggplant Rollitini or Chicken Rollitini. My husband's favorite is now the Chicken Cremora. It's a lightly fried chicken in the most rich and creamy white sauce. I always snag a bite or two. :D Now, the dishes are big so if you're still feeling yourself and hungry afterward... check out the Creme Brûlée. I never have regretted it. The cherry on top to this beautiful dining experience... BYOB. So bring your best bottle of wine and enjoy it thoroughly with your meal. What a bonus huh? Will I be back? Of course, it's one of my favorite Fort Worth spots :)

Yelp
This place was recommended by a friend. I am not sure what Cafe Bella looked like before the renovation, but the remodeling has added a new touch to the place. Stopped by for lunch (lunch menu is somewhat limited). Started with mozzarella sticks (surprised they weren't warm). Ordered the chicken Marsala which came with a salad- it was okay- there wasn't anything that stuck out to me to order it again. Expected it to be creamier with cherry tomatoes. Our server was attentive and sweet. This is a BYOB establishment, there is an Albertsons near by. Perfect place to sit outside & catchup with a friend.

Yelp
We've eaten at Cafe Bella. The first time it took forever to even get water so I wasn't sure we'd go back. We went back early with friends last week. The service was much better. I like that we can bring our own wine. Given mixed reviews that I read I wasn't sure what to order. I finally decided to order the Frutta Di Mare. It was tasty with lots of seafood. I was able to enjoy the second half of it the next night. We enjoyed our meals wine we brought and the price was very reasonable.

Yelp
Wow! Delicious! Bread- tastes home made light and yummy Dipping oil - flavorful, delicious Spaghetti - fresh, tasty Calamari- lightly battered, good Lasagna- good amount of beef and delicious Tiramisu- fresh, flavorful and good balance Caprese- taste like I make it, fresh and healthy

Yelp
This place gave me and my bf so many mixed feelings. It was our first time and we had high hopes for some authentic Italian food. Our first disappointment was that it was BYOB and not that they served wine with your food, they also don't service any other drinks. Since we were starving we didn't feel like going to grab a bottle of wine, but that was on us. So if you want to try it take a bottle Now ambiance is what you would want at a nice restaurant if you're going on a date or to have an adult outing but being sophisticated. The food is where more mixed feelings came in. The Alfredo pasta is the Americanized version and let's just say it was flavorless. The noddles did not seem to be from scratch and if they were nothing special, but the chicken itself was great. My boyfriend said he'd go back just for the chicken and I can attest that it was actually very good. The Vodka penne pasta was very good but came with Canadian bacon/ham so to me it was odd as again was hoping authentic Italian dishes (prosciutto or pancetta). The fried calamari by it self flavorless even after adding lemon but with the marinara it was least good. The first round of bread was stall but we asked for more and came out very nice and with the oil and herbs it was great Needless to say for the price point of the food it was pricey and we still left hungry because we weren't satisfied. I believe if you have a bottle of wine it's worth it as your too busy getting drunk to care about the flavor of the food

Yelp
Cafe Bella was a new find for us. We just happened upon them on a day they were open for lunch. It was cozy with an elevated ambiance. The food was very good and tasty. They've expanded their patio to accommodate additional seating.

Yelp
I am so sad I discovered this place so late in my Fort Worth chapter. The food is amazing!! I used this as a way to carb load before the Cowtown and it kept me going at mile 27 out of 31- because of that I am very grateful for this establishment. Please support them. You won't be disappointed! It gets pretty busy so I'd recommend making a resy, coming early, or at least blocking out part of your day to wait :)

Yelp
I can't believe it's been SO long since we've dined at Cafe Bella. My wife and I MUST make a point to come by more often. It was a Saturday night around 6:00pm and the place was hopping. We ended up parking around the corner from the restaurant since there was no parking close by the restaurant. It seems we always come by when a special event is taking place. Last time we were at Cafe Bella, there was a rehearsal dinner being hosted. This evening, there was some sort of event happening at TCU. All the ladies and gentlemen were dressed to impress. Even with how busy the restaurant, we were seated almost immediately in the outdoor dining area. Our server Mia was phenomenal during our visit. She was so friendly and accommodating. She kept us informed how our orders were doing in the kitchen. As a former long-time food service manager, I was sure the kitchen was working at full tilt. Fresh baked bread with dipping sauce was brought to our table as we checked out the menu. My wife decided on Chicken Parmesan, and I opted for the Lobster Ravioli. Mia came by and asked if we were in a rush, the kitchen needed to get the entrees out to the TCU table since they were on a tight schedule. We told Mia, we had nothing to do afterwards so the kitchen could take its time. Our entrees arrived after an enjoyable wait and were FANTASTIC. Of course, we had a have a roll re-fill along with additional dipping sauce. We love Cafe Bella's dipping sauce. Both of our entrees were spectacular, can you say "Awesomeness" As we were finishing our entrees, we thought about desserts and decided to order a Creme Burlee and plain Cheesecake topped with a cherry sauce. Yep, and a couple of cups of coffee to help cut the sweetness. Even with the stellar service Mia delivered, there are some points that I would be remiss if I didn't mention them. First the Cream Burlee had a crunchy caramelized curst on the top, the custard underneath wasn't set up properly. The taste was decadent, but it was just a semi-thick custard, not a thick custard that Cream Burlee's are known for. Second, Cafe Bella needs to invest into a POS (point of sale) system. The servers are still writing out old style paper tickets so there is no prior communication to the kitchen about what's coming their way. Having a proper POS system installed would allow the servers to process diner's tickets. Not having a POS system creates a HUGE bottleneck at the front of the house. There's a line of diners waiting to be seated and a second long line of patrons waiting to pay their check. The front of the house isn't that big and it gets VERY crowded. I was waiting outside while my wife was in line to pay our check. The lady standing next to me said her husband had been in the check paying line for over 10 minutes. Even though we love Cafe Bella, we'll definitely have to think twice to come on a busy weekend night.

Yelp
I moved to Texas in December of 2022 directly across the street. I discovered this gem of a hole in the wall!! The food is absolutely delicious! Homemade raviolis, lasagna & tiramisu for dessert!! Our server Krissy made an excellent recommendation for the Frutta de mare & raviolis. She was attentive as well. The bread rolls with the olive oil/garlic sauce is to die for!! I will definitely be back with my family Il cibo era molto buono

Yelp
This is my favorite place to eat Italian food. Most of the staff is Italian or has roots from Italy. The setting of the restaurant has a very chill vibe to it and makes it feel more authentic. If you want a great meal and a great time give cafe Bella a visit!
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
I am obsessed with the pasta fagioli soup, any time the weather is chilly or rainy it's my go to. The owner and staff are always so friendly when I come in, (I always order to go) but the inside and patio area are beautiful!

Yelp
A lovely restaurant with great service, good food, and a neighborhood vibe that makes you want to come back (this place has been around for a while so it's an indication of its following and food). I'm always happy with what I order and try and change it up. It is BYOB so this is an added plus which I think adds to the appeal and following.

Julianna G.

Yelp
We arrived at 6:45 for a group of 2. Hostess promised us a 15 minute wait. This is when I then realized she was promising everyone a 15 minute wait. We sat waiting for an HOUR. she skipped around on the list multiple times as well. Host was rude. I can understand having a busy night, but please be honest when there is an hour wait and be organized rather than using a scrap piece of paper and a clipboard!

Candis W.

Yelp
Birthday dinners for April!! Very romantic restaurant if you are looking for a place. Food was really good. Sat out big group right away. They had tons of regulars too. Might be the new bday spot.

Darla G.

Yelp
Always delicious! Love that you can bring your own wine. It is always busy so plane on a little wait. We use that time to go buy wine next door

Cameron E.

Yelp
Such sadness here. Came for a family dinner and the service was so kind and nice it breaks my heart to say the food is awful....but it is. This is below mediocre Americanized Italian that would best be topped by a jar of Ragu. If that's your idea of acceptable quality, you'll be ok. For the rest of us? Not so much. Overcooked pasta (definitely not al dente, and definitely not freshly made) and bland, flavorless sauces are the rule, along with weird ingredients. WTF is Canadian Bacon doing in Italian food? Too cheap for guanciale? Prosciutto? Salad was sad - looked like pre aged Sysco romaine with an odd amount of shredded carrot and a few red cabbage shreds. Also, what kind of a reputable restaurant other than fast food is BYOB without a wine list and a somm? Our food for a large group came out one by one over more than half an hour. Kitchen competence at pacing and firing was very very substandard. I'm amazed this place is in business...whose standards are so low they'd come back when dried store-bought pasta and Ragu outperforms the entrees?

Mike W.

Yelp
Always pleasant, even when quite busy. People friendly, many families and groups as well as a few 2- tops. Staff works well together for all desires. Interesting location near TCU, Trinity Episcopal, and St Andrews church, in a neighborhood. Inside refurbished 2024, outside shopping center now underway. Lots of parking, way lot in the shopping center attached lot. They will get back the patio tables for nearly 100 once finished. But without encouragement, tables cycle to keep the wait line moving. *Byob, they pop the cork at seating and already have the table set for wine glasses, about 20% bring a bottle or 2. Great specials, house specials, variety. Good lemon, fish, chicken and baked items. Buns with good basil garlic oil dipping sauce, plate servings good sized, over half of tables take some take home packs. Kiddie section on menu, they seat family style often in one of the rooms. Loudness is of course different for kids than adult seating, but neither prevents usual conversation. Flavor sauces just right, not making entries swim, nor bring dry. Good for the buns to drip. *Salads on the menu to add chicken or such to make it a light meal are great! Not highly mentioned a side salad for $3 is quite good, with homemade sauces. *Grocery store on the block if wanting to pick up a bottle of wine. Orders brought at a good tempo for a relaxing meal. I've come to Cafe Bella about once a year for the past 30 years, when wanting a great meal and a bit less noise than many other Italians in Fort Worth. So a cut above even if a few minutes farther drive. Will be nicer when the sidewalk and patio construction complete, but don't let that stop you even now. Saturday about 6pm it filled up, but not too long a wait for a table of 2-5 people. Go for it!

Yelp
Cafe Bella is one of the cutest restaurants in Fort Worth! It's one of FTX's hidden gems! The food is delicious and cheap for an italian restaurant. The vibes are so cozy and perfect for a night out with friends, dinner with family or even a date. I love coming to Cafe Bella!

Yelp
Stopped in because we had driven by a few times. A Monday night and it was packed. Had no idea it was BYOB so good thing Albertsons was across the parking lot for a bottle of wine. Service and food were amazing! Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
The ambience is great.I love the quaintness of this place. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with a side of meatballs. Don't forget BYOB.

Yelp
Wonderful food and great ambiance! We sat outside on the covered porch for a quiet lunch at 11:00-11:30 and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch meals.

Jon L.

Yelp
Really a great place. The atmosphere is wonderful. The decor is wonderful. All the staff was really working very hard and we had spinach lasagna and regular lasagna and the salads were really good. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Outstanding food, service, and ambiance. A wide variety of dishes to choose from. Go fairly early; it fills up quickly. No reservations, BYO Wine.

Yelp
This is such a shame to write because I used to absolutely love this place before I had this experience. I went here with a group of friends and we waited about 30 minutes before anyone came over to help us. We finally got bread but once our server came over, she asked if we could order, yet we hadn't even received menus. She then informed us that because our party was big, that it was a select menu, which was fine with us. She told us that there was penne vodka pasta and most of us ordered that. When our food came, there was a large amount of thinly sliced ham, which we were not informed of prior. Unfortunately most of the people at the table do not eat pork so were slightly confused as we wouldn't have ordered that if we were told. The waitress never checked on us once until we had to ask another worker if we could receive our check. We then saw another large table next to us get handed menus by her which was definitely confusing to us. We would've spent a lot more money there if that was the case, which would've resulted in a higher tip for her with the added gratuity. I would say for the future, just make sure the servers inform every guest properly so that the kitchen doesn't have to fix their mistakes in the future.

Beth M.

Yelp
Great food! My favorite is Chicken Baresa. Love the ambiance. Thrilled to patronize a local business.

Yelp
Awesome food at a good price. Great service, friendly staff. Food is awesome, and you can bring your own wine .

Yelp
What a great little hole in the wall Italian place. There are a wide variety of options for just about anyone. The food is authentically Italian and delicious. The wait staff was super attentive. We had several appetizers including the fried mozzarella, the mussels marinara, and the baked meatballs. The meatballs were truly exceptional, but all three were great. The Caesar salad is quite large, and can easily be shared with two or three people. Their lasagna is a signature item and did not disappoint - it was super hot with molten mozzarella and absolutely divine. There are several unique chicken options, and I chose the Limonata. It is stuffed with cheese, almonds, artichokes, capers, and sun-dried tomatoes and served with angel hair pasta in a lemon wine sauce. Excellent. There are so many other items on the menu, that we will be returning soon. It is BYOB, and there is an Albertson's across the parking lot where you can pick up some wine if you forget.

Glenda A.

Yelp
Food, service, atmosphere and price is always great. It is newly redecorated and is lovely. Ellie and staff are so friendly and always ready to please. Great place to enjoy friends and neighbors you see each week.

Rebecca T.

Yelp
My husband and I, along with his brother and wife, ate dinner last night at Cafe Bella. I had chicken Marsala, my husband had salmon in cream sauce. My sister in law had a mixed seafood dish. All of us shared a calamari appetizer and rolls with dipping sauce. We brought our own wine. I had creme brûlée for dessert and my husband had cheesecake. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We had gone early to eat, about 5:30 on a Tuesday. When we left, there were tons of diners waiting for a table. This is a local restaurant with a big following. I can't wait to return to Ft Worth to eat at Cafe Bella again.

Yelp
Oh, wow! Just thinking back on my food from a few days ago makes my mouth water in anticipation of the next visit. I had lasagna, and it was some of the best I have had in years. My wife ordered ziti, she said the same. We had other guests with us and all said their food was exceptional. Service was top-level, responsive, and gracious. People make the difference in restaurants, and add another level of excellence here. My only issue, and it was minor, was the lighting was turned down so low most of us had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu! Minor inconvenience for amazing food!

Pat M.

Yelp
My husband and I ate there last night with our friends. We took A bottle of wine to drink. Each of us something different. It was all wonderful. I ordered chicken piccata, my friend got chicken Marsala, my husband got spaghetti and my friends husband got penne vodka. We all ordered salad to go with our dinner. They served delicious hot fresh bread with oil. After dinner we shared tiramisu and a cannoli. Our bill with tip was $102. Great atmosphere and our waitress was very attentive. We will be back.

Charlo B.

Yelp
We had a group of 16 people meet at Bella's last night and they were so accommodating. The food is always delicious and is why everyone was so looking forward to dining together there. We only had two couples that had never been there before and they will be back! Thank you to everyone who helped make our evening such a lovely one!

Jennifer L.

Yelp
The food was great, loved the ambiance but service could Use improvement. I was given a dish I didn't order and eas not Able to tell the server until The end of the meal When he reappeared. Would Still go back but be certain upon delivery the order is correct.
google avatar

Meghan D.

Yelp
If you are a TCU student, do not come to this establishment! They are extremely rude (wait staff/host/hostesses/etc.) to students or young people that they assume are students. Food takes ridiculously long to come out, they sometimes won't even give us menus and they will just tell us what we are allowed to order. Additionally, the main hostess (I assume the owner) was being extremely rude to us and made us feel unwelcome. Don't open a BYOB restaurant next to a college campus if you don't want college student business:)
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I love cafe bella and it's one of the only good Italian places in FW that I know of. They have good bread, pretty good food overall and especially for the price you're getting it, and really pretty scenery and ambiance. I love that it's BYOB and it's a great place for a date to drink wine and have a nice dinner at reasonable price. The only thing I'll say is that 90% of the time the service sucks. Just be prepared to wait 15 minutes to get water and wine glasses once you're seated. The staff is very friendly and I still enjoy going, but you just have to be aware going into it that the service will most likely be slow.

Martin B L.

Yelp
Called for a Reservation: "We don't take Reservations, only for parties of 10 or more, it's first come first serve." No questions asked. Disabled veterans can't stand in a line. We went elsewhere.

Larry N.

Yelp
Our table of 9 has a very good experience Friday night, 5/31. My order was for Salmon Picata, and it was delicious. Other orders included pizza, meatballs and various pasta dishes. Everyone said their food was excellent. Service, on a very busy night, was excellent. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
This place is excellent. It's tucked into a local neighborhood and it's always super busy. And possibly the best part... it's BYOB!! You just can't beat a local spot that has great food and you can bring your own wine!
google avatar

Rosa P.

Yelp
Cafe Bella was SOO amazing!! The vibes are so cute and def mom and pop Italian place! Service was great, even for a busy night we got all of our food shortly after we ordered. I got the Fettucine Alfredo and it was delicious!! Def would recommend as a cute date night out!! It is BYOB/BYOW and they don't have a bottle fee either so bring your fave wines, beer, alcohol if you want something else with the food!!

Yelp
Ambiance was lovely - food delicious. Service was nice - we had to run out and grab some wine. Hadn't realized it was a dry restaurant but this made a very affordable dinner ticket. Overall- try it!

Jim N.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating wait staff. They make you feel comfortable and you never feel rushed. I'm there almost every week.

Sunny P.

Yelp
I came here with some friends for a nice dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the garlic rolls that were quite delicious. We all got pasta dishes and added chicken. The waiters were nice and it was a super intimate/cozy setting. I honestly think this is more of a place you go for on a date just because of the lighting, flowers and general ambiance. My only complaint was the price of adding chicken was pretty high (I can't find my receipt to share sadly but please ask your server so you don't end up in the same boat we were in). We were not aware of how much more it was with adding chicken especially since it was basically just a piece of grilled chicken breast that was partially sliced through and put on top of our pasta. It was rather disappointing as I didn't think the pasta dishes were that stellar even with the chicken to warrant the price.

Karen K.

Yelp
Great food and good service. BYOB. Nice outdoor patio. Have liked all of the many dishes I have tried there, but the limonita is my favorite.

Yelp
Love this little spot! Sat on the patio under the lights enjoying our food. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! Our server was Connor and he was great! If you are in the neighborhood you must stop by and have some yummy legit Italian.
