The Best Creole & Cajun Restaurants In Atlanta

"With a quad sprawling with artificial turf, two-level outdoor seating, and an empty bar set between several refashioned shipping containers, the West End’s Windsor Street Market has potential to be a cool hangout. But currently the only thing bringing people to the yard is the Cafe Bourbon Street food truck (they also have a stall in the Marietta Square Market). On nice days, we’re here mainly for the jambalaya egg rolls, which are filled with a well-seasoned mix of shrimp, andouille sausage, and chicken. The entree options, from the po’boy to chicken wing basket, don’t disappoint, but neither compare to the big flavors of the egg rolls. But a beignet sweet ending will tempt you to lounge a little longer and imagine how much better Windsor Market could be with a functional bar." - nina reeder, juli horsford, demarco williams

Yes, There Are Great Beignets to Be Found Around Atlanta

"With the food truck parked at the Met in Adair Park and a location at Marietta Street Market, order crispy fried chicken atop a layer of beignets covered in powdered sugar or beignets sprinkled with pecans and pralines drizzled in a sweet praline sauce. While these two beignet selections are only available on Sundays, Cafe Bourbon Street’s regular powdered sugar beignets are on the menu daily." - Beth McKibben

Great Service and exceptional quality of food. Came for some Beignets, left with those and the gumbo. The gumbo is full of meat, and you can tell the roux was stirred with ample amounts of love!

100000/10 omg I cannot rave about the chicken and beignets enough. That praline sauce and the perfectly seasoned chicken was 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 TOO good. We can only get it once a week on Sundays, so worth the wait though. Delicious Black owned food truck in the West End😋

Google
Broski what can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. We went to their food truck about 4 years ago when we came down here and came back to the brick-and-mortar today in Marietta Georgia. Our server Pam was very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices hadn't changed much which means they were good. We always try to support black businesses because we are black, which means we are family! We got the Gumbo (A), Shrimp Po' Boy (A+), Jambalaya Egg Rolls (A++), and Wings Basket (B) with Bourbon Ranch Fries (A+). Lastly we topped it off at the Churro Beignets (A+++++++). We just came from New Orleans about a month ago off a cruise and I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is authentic! For the amount of food you get for the price you can't do no better. We will be back in July and we'll make sure we stop by this family restaurant. We appreciate y'all and keep up the good fight. Sincerely, The Mosley's

This was my first time trying this amazing food. I loved it all. The sauce is a banger! I love the location for it. It’s open and not too far from the West End. The process to order you food is straightforward. Wait time wasn’t that long. I enjoy the egg rolls a lot. I wish this amazing place was closer to the Southside, however I don’t mind traveling for amazing food that’s feels like the NOLA. Must try again.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Atlanta was this @cafebourbonst food truck. With my fam being from Louisiana, this was definitely worth experiencing. Jambalaya Egg Rolls were so good, filled with chicken, shrimp, sausage and rice covered in that savory spicy sauce. Goodness gracious. Easily a Top 5 appetizer - 4.5/5 Bourbon St Wings were on point. The flavor was everything, the chicken was juicy and tender while being crispy and crunchy. Fries were also on point, nicely seasoned and fried well - 4/5 The Shrimp Po’ Boy was amazing. Bro, when I say this po’ was on point… The bread was nice and soft, you receive a lot of shrimps and they were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. This was topped with some of that cafe bourbon sauce… I wish I ordered two - 4.5/5 Original Beignets were fried, light, fluffy and delicate to the bite. A lot of powered sugar but a small dust off ain’t never hurt nobody - 4/5

I came to this establishment because I saw that the ratings on Google were four stars out of five. As I pulled up I received great customer service and I was able to submit my order via iPad. I waited for my food for about 20 to 30 minutes. When I received my food, it looked so appealing , but it was disgusting. I had spent $55 and every single thing I ordered was horrible. The chicken wings were huge and the bourbon sauce tasted like regular barbecue sauce with a touch Of honey. I didn’t know if the wings were smoked or if they were supposed to be fried. The fries that came with my wings were soggy. It tasted more like the fries were baked. I ordered the loaded fries. It was also terrible and was soaked in barbecue sauce or bourbon sauce. I am not sure. I also ordered the shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp had flavor, but the coating of the shrimp was soggy. The batter did not stick to the shrimp. That costed about $14 and it did not come with fries. It was definitely not worth $14. However, I did like that they used nice sized shrimp and they used enough shrimp to cover the bun. It may have been worth the $14 if it came with a side. I also ordered the original beignets and the cream cheese beignets. The dough was very thick and hard. It was so much dough. It lacked any flavor and there was no sweetness to the beignets. It should be hot and melt in your mouth. Definitely not worth the money and you only get 3. It was disgusting and I hate to say I literally spit it out. I would also like to add that everything I ordered wasn't hot. For me to have waited 30 minutes for my food, nothing was hot. I received all of my food and Styrofoam containers. Which means there should have been some type of heat damage to my Styrofoam containers. It was a disaster. I was upset and hated that I wasted my time and my money coming to this food truck. I’ll never go back. Even with the points I earned. There was nothing New Orleans about it. Come to think of it. When you pull up to a food truck, you usually smell food cooking. I didn’t notice any fragrance of food in the air. Maybe it was an off day for the cook. Nevertheless , I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Google
The food is made fresh and hot. You might have to wait a minute but it's worth it!! The atmosphere is always a vibe especially when the owners come out to speak to everyone. The chicken and beignets were good and it didn't just taste like dough. They even put the sauce on the side for my chicken like I requested. I love a good fried shrimp/ fries and the sauce on top was a plus. I've been back a couple times..

Google
7/6/23-Finally got a chance to visit. The wings were big, juicy, and very flavorful. The beignets were okay. I think I would like a different flavor. The bourbon fries were SO good! Customer service was good as well. Proud to support! Update 12/8/24; Had to change my review. Went today, and service was 100%, food cooked to perfection and tasted SO good. I got the bourbon fries, and my daughter ordered the wings and beignet. The owners were very professional and friendly.

Yelp
Cafe Bourbon Street food truck provides a taste of the real New Orleans Cajun and Creole food to the establishments of Atlanta and Marietta. They offer large chunks of gumbo, jambalaya egg rolls, shrimp po- boys and seasoned fries, in a casual family type of setting, and with a friendly staff. The taste is assertive and the prices are actually worth it. It is surely a place to go to when one has the urge to eat hearty Southern seafood in a casual surrounding.

Yelp
Visited Atlanta this passed weekend and I've been following this spot for a while and loved their content and decided to give them a try. Its ordered the jambalaya egg rolls and the 8 piece bourbon st wings and when I made it back to the Airbnb ready to eat I was disappointed!! For one my wings were still RAW and the egg rolls seemed like they were sitting out all day. I reached out via insta and was told that the crew at that particular location is a new staff and still in training and they will let them know an that I can go back the next day for a free 8 piece but at that point I just wanted a refund because I was just disgusted. I was told that I could get a refund but nothing happened. I tried supporting not just a black owed business but since the business owners are from my city I thought I'd support my ppl but try them out at your own risk.

Yelp
I had a craving for beignets and Cafe Bourbon St was recommended, and I'm so glad I tried it! This is a former food truck now in a permanent location I believe, and the food is made fresh to order! I arrived a little but before opening, and there were 2 other people waiting. The parking lot is quite big (and free!). This location at least is card only, no cash accepted. After placing my order, I waited ~20 minutes for the food to come out. I believe they ordinarily text you when your order is ready, but I never received a text but the worker came and handed me my food directly, which was very nice. The seating area is also very nice, and on a warmer day I'm sure would be a great place to sit. The shrimp was delicious, and the fries were well seasoned, on the soft side. My favorite part was the pecan praline beignets. They're a great texture, very light and not to sweet, with the praline sauce providing a great addition!

Yelp
NO VALID LOCATION!! Tried driving to the Windsor street address - No dice. Then tried the Murphy St. Address from the website. No luck there either!! When you call the number, they ask you to text, but they don't respond. What a waste of time!!! I get that it's a food truck and probably move around to different locations, but you HAVE to keep the public informed!!

Yelp
I love to support local businesses and this particular vendor I discovered through IG. A few tips to assist patrons on a smooth and easy ordering experience are below. 1.) Download the Cafe Bourbon St. App 2.) Place your order on said App 3.) Check in with the host upon arrival Keep in mind this is a food truck and the food is cooked to order. Expect your wait time to be at least 30 mins, but faster if you order on the app. There is ample parking and a food truck park with lots of seating so that you and your party can sit back, relax and enjoy the sun or the shade. If you want some time to pass by quickly, order a snowball and by the time you finish that, your wait time should be half way. I wouldn't recommend visiting the food truck if you're in a hurry because again there is a wait. The only suggestion I'd make to the the owners and host would to provide a wait expectation for your patrons so customers know what to expect after they place their orders. Other than the wait, the food was delicious and I'll continue to support this business when I'm in the area. I ordered a Shrimp Po Boy and Cajun fries. The shrimp was well seasoned and the Cajun sauce elevated the flavor of the sandwich and fries. The owners and host were friendly and the waiting area was clean and tidy.

Yelp
This food truck in ATL is delicious. You'll find it in a food truck park at this address. Cafe Bourbon ALWAYS has the longest line. I'd recommend downloading their app and ordering ahead. When you get there just tell them your name and they'll make your food. It's like skipping the line. The food is great. If it's Sunday, I highly recommend getting the chicken and beignets. Otherwise, any of the wing meals are great. I love upgrading to the bourbon ranch fries for $1. Come early if you want to eat here. And enjoy the other food trucks around while you're there!

Yelp
Being from Louisiana I was SUPER excited to find a piece of home in Atlanta. I went in with zero expectations and honestly I was surprised. The flavors of the food was amazing and were unique, I must admit. Truthfully the service, the entire set up, the music.. everything was nice! I'm not really sure what they are doing with that space but I definitely see potential for that place to offer a lot more in the future! My only downfall about this place is that my wings were cooked just a little bit to hard. I felt as if they were cooked really fast causing them to burn rather than to cook because the inside of my meat was a little pink. Unfortunately I had to throw the rest of my food away but on a positive note I was perfectly fine the next day. But after reading other reviews and seeing other photos I definitely want to try the chicken and beignets disregarding my previous experience with their chicken just to give them one more shot.

Yelp
So I'm all about New Orleans food so I had to give it a shot. Cafe Bourbon Street is a food truck so it's not a standard brick and mortar (at this location) so just keep that in mind. If you are going to try to go, make sure you download the app so that you can order your food and get it in a timely fashion. They run it as first come first serve so it gives you a better chance to get in and out as soon as possible. Service was good, I don't have any complaints. You're waiting around but everybody's nice and friendly who's taking your order. I ordered the food while I was on the freeway and by the time I got there it was just getting done and bagged so that worked out really well. Again, I would 101% suggest you download the app instead of getting it and waiting around. When I was there to work a lot of people there but I know that there could be quite a bit of people there giving the fact that I read some reviews on it. So you want to go ahead and make sure you do your due diligence. I went with the Cajun fried shrimp and the jambalaya egg roll. The Cajun fried shrimp was good, it could have used more seasoning but I understand that you want to make sure that you don't inundate somebody with seasonings because they may not like it and once you put it on you can't take it off. But if you're coming for New Orleans food, I want to hear and feel and taste that spice! But the shrimp was good. I actually did dip it in some cocktail sauce when I got home, just to help it alone but I would get it again though honestly. I don't really do beignets but I had to try it just because why not lol. If you like them, you will be satisfied I assume. They come with maybe three of them or so, Dusted and all the powdered sugar that looks like snowfall lol. They also have shrimp that is sauced in a sweet and spicy sauce kind of situation and now it's actually really good as well. These sauced up shrimp came dripping with sauce and had green onion garnished on them as well. Really good. I didn't need anything extra for them, like the casa sauce I use for the regular fried shrimp. Solid attempt! Next time I would probably consider getting that instead of the regular but I want to see what the regular tasted like first and foremost before I bitch it off into sauces! Now I've saved this for the last part of review, the jambalaya egg roll. This joint was a hit! It came in too long egg rolls couldn't have and it was drizzled in some beautiful spicy sauce. That situation right there was a winner! That could have been the meal and I would have been happy lol. Well I would have wanted more but you get the point lol! You can make out large rings of sausage, rice, everything you would find in jambalaya. That joint was bussin with flavor, that I didn't know I needed until that moment in time. When I go back, most likely so. The guy who was at the front of the truck was super nice and super friendly and very inviting. I would definitely like to go back for more. Now just as a precaution, it is a food truck so unless you eat it there some of the things may not hold up in the car ride home depending on how long it takes. For example the French fries were nothing special and I think that they suffered because of all the steam made them soggy. Now I will say there are people out in the parking lot in in the area of the food truck who didn't even wait to get home, they just start smashing the food in the car and at the seat they were sitting at. I understand why because it's going to be hot and fresh right off the gate! Either way, just want to let you know that consideration because fried food doesn't always hold up when it's putting a steam box so keep that in mind. But either way it goes, this was a win.

Yelp
the came to job job to cater the cajun chicken had a burnt taste, gumbo was hella greasy and the beignets was not fully cooked. the were doughy, not brown & crispy. loaded with powered sugar. the gumbo was watery. 0/0 don't recommend

Yelp
Just ok...New Orleans Beignets are definitely better...I think what made me disappointed was the girls attitude...no acknowledgement whatsoever so ever...she saw us ordering on the iPad while she's leaning in a car...once we paid she informed us there weren't any beignets; when we asked how long the wait was she once again did not acknowledge us. Once we finally got her to respond to us, we were told ten minutes which turned into 45 minutes...beignets were over beat...southern hospitality we did not get

Yelp
You are seriously missing out if you have not consumed the magical goodness from this establishment. We got there at noon, and they open at 1pm. I rather be first in line then have to watch everyone leave with food while I'm still waiting. Also, they only have chicken and beignets on Sundays so I wanted to make sure I got to get some before they ran out. Everyone in line was very friendly. It definitely made the time go by fast. The owners are extremely nice and the customer service is top notch. Ok, the food!!! I ordered the bourbon shrimp and fries, the chicken and beignets. Let me pause because my mouth is watering from thinking about it. The fries are flavorful and have just a hint of cajun spice. The shrimp is seasoned to the gods and then they put this sauce on it that takes you to New Orleans as soon as you take a bite. The chicken is fried to perfection and the beignets are so authentically good. I will definitely be back. If you are behind me, you may get mad because I may order $2000 worth of food so you would not get any!!
google avatar

Alexander D.

Yelp
Cafe Bourbon street is one of the best food trucks in town! I will definitely say order ahead because the line can get very long. Just make sure you check in on arriving. Parking on the side street or lot is best options. The food is worth any wait though and you can't go wrong with adding dollar for bourbon ranch fries. If jambalaya egg rolls are in stock make sure to get them trust me! Also their bourbon wing basket is a very solid choice and a go to when I can't decide. Be prepared to not want to share!

Yelp
My girlfriend that lives in Georgia was taking me to the airport to pick up a relative who was flying in to hang with us for the weekend and we had some time to kill before her flight landed so we opted to grab a bit to eat. The plan was to go to a breakfast spot near the airport but the wait was close to two hours long so she told me about Cafe Bourbon St. She told me about how she tried their food previously based on their Instagram posts but because she lives close to an hour away, she tried the food when it was reheated and it just wasn't the same. Cafe Bourbon St is only opened on Fridays and Sundays from 1-6pm so on a Friday we arrived at 12:58pm and it was already a line coming outside of the area along the street. I just knew the food was going to be delicious. My family was due in at 1:55pm so I figured we had time to wait and get over to the cellphone lot before her plan landed but I was wrong. After waiting in line for 48 minutes to place an order I was committed. After placing my order I waited another 15 or so before my name was called to get my order. Thankfully it took my family some time to disembark the flight and get their bags from baggage claim so we had time to get to the cellphone lot and try the food. I will start off by saying the food was well worth the wait. I ordered the jambalaya egg rolls and Bourbon Shrimp Basket with Bourbon Fries and everything was very flavorful, filling, and with the money. I had enough to share with my family when they got in the car and their response was "this is a great way to be welcomed to Georgia"; "delicious food and personal pick up". I look forward to going back and trying something else on the menu. I definitely recommend this eatery.

Yelp
This place is legit!! I've been following them on Instagram for a while, and I was so excited to finally check them out. It was sooo good! I went with a couple of friends and we had the Jambalaya Egg Rolls, Shrimp Po'Boy, and beignets. Listen to me, those jambalaya egg rolls are THE TRUTH!! It's 2 egg rolls stuffed with shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya, cut in halves, and topped with a drizzle of remoulade sauce and green onions. Now I've seen people stuff all types of things inside egg rolls, but none more perfect than this. They're open two days a week, Friday and Sunday. **The Chicken & Beignets plate is only available on Sunday. We went on a Friday around 1PM. The wait in line actually wasn't as long as I expected (after seeing hour-long wait times in other reviews and super long lines on IG). We waited about 15 minutes in line and probably another 15 to get our food. Idk if it was just our lucky day or if Fridays just aren't as busy. Either way, I believe it's worth the wait. Overall: Glad to have a taste of New Orleans in Atlanta! Can't wait to try some of the other items.

Yelp
The food here was pretty good. There is one lady working and you get a side of rude for free. Man she was mean but I get it. It's hot and she's solo. Perhaps the new location is the better spot now but I won't be back to the food truck. That said, the food was worth a try.

Yelp
Ever had something so good it almost brought tears to your eyes??? Well, that was my experience during a recent trip to Cafe Bourbon St. They're a food truck that serves New Orleans cuisine in Triton Yards on the west side of Atlanta. For now, they're only open on Friday's and Sunday's 1pm-6:30pm or until they sell out. Trust me, you definitely want to arrive early. A line formed around 12. (A whole hour before opening). I was the 10th person in line and didn't place my order until 1:15pm. I really had to practice patience! It was so hot outside and the food is cooked to order, so I had to wait again. We ordered the bourbon st. Shrimp basket with upgraded fries, jambalaya egg rolls and chicken & beignets. The flavors from the shrimp basket were explosive! Seriously, there's so much flavor going on from the bourbon sauce, seasoned fries and ranch. I wasn't sure what to expect from the jambalaya egg rolls, but they were delicious. My son said that his chicken and beignets were awesome. By the way, the chicken & beignets are only served on Sunday. I'm dreading having to wait in the line again, but I'm looking forward to returning. The staff was friendly and w

Yelp
If you're apprehensive about the wait, it's worth it. I had the beignets (first time having some), shrimp po boy, and bourbon fries. I'll definitely be back. I did try to order ahead of time but had a lot of issues with their app. No confirmation code was sent via email and now I'm locked out of registering due to my phone number being tied to the account but not verifying via email (maybe the email finally made it). At any rate you can't place an online order until an hour after they open. On to the food, I'll start with my fave, the bourbon fries. It honestly must be crack because these were some of the best fries I've ever had. All jokes aside, it was the perfect flavor combination of savory and sweet. despite all the saucing, fries were still fresh and crisp. The shrimp po boy was good, not the best. I liked how crispy the shrimp was and it's a very nice portion. The dressing lacked a bit of pizazz though and was a bit watery. Not as flavorful but like I said still good. Honestly may have just been hard to top the fries. Can't fully comment on the beignets seeing as they were my first but they were okay not dying over them but I did eat them all lol.

Yelp
Get there early! This food is worth it. My friends and I waited in line an hour and a half ( we were in the first 10 people there). I have heard so many good things about thhis place and they kept popping up on my Instagram so it was meant for me to go. They are only open on Fridays and Sundays. And Sunday is the only day you can get the chicken and beignets. So good. The beignets were a littLe more dense then I thought they would be but still good. Get the chicken and beignets if for nothing else other than too get the pecan praline sauce. The jambalaya egg rolls and the shrimp basket Try this place asap!!

Yelp
I highly recommend using the app to place your order. It was super easy and convenient. Our food was ready right on time. It was freshly made and hot. Everyone enjoyed their meal- amazing flavors and awesome service. That bourbon sauce is a must have-even to dip your fries in. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
The l Gumbo was not authentic New Orleans gumbo .... It really had no flavor and the rice was hard. I also purchased the egg rolls and they were not good either. The service was great but the food wasn't.

Yelp
Online order ESTIMATED pickup time was 20min .. took NEARLY an hour. 13 min shy of hr so took 47 min when back in the day it was only 15-20 min organized wait! Food is always great. This time however jambalaya rolls lil burnt good still but burnt nd I ordered twoo so why one order darker than other.. Service is declining. Hate to say!2x Jambalaya Egg Rolls Bourbon Shrimp Basket

We were at your store a couple months back and met the owner and his wife, they were lovely, then the last two times we went, the employees were absurdly rude, we were waiting smiling at them and they didn't come up to us till we we waiting for about 5 minutes not sure how to order on the kisosk and the employees were not being helpful at all then just popped out to say "use the kisosk" without seeing if I needed any help then immediately went back into the kitchen without waiting for a response, we didn't even bother ordering after that because we were so appalled by the service. truly disappointed as this was our favorite new orleans style restaurant.

Yelp
I got the Cajun shrimp basket! It was so damn good. It was seasoned perfectly, a nice amount, and truly delicious. I waited in line about 10 minutes but my food did not disappoint. I appreciate the fresh food and great price point.

Yelp
I had the Shrimp Po Boy and Beignets and DAMN it was good. The shrimp was seasoned perfect, the bread was soft and the sauce was bomb. Ill definitely be back.

Yelp
I am a huge foodie and I have been hearing about Cafe Bourbon St. When I started following them on ig they always have a line every time they're at Triton Yards. On this day I got there early waited in line but not that long and they're customer service is superb! Very friendly I was greeted and thanked for showing up and waiting in line. The food is delicious made to order and they're bourbon sauce is everything baaaaaby! They're bourbon sauce is so good I ordered a bottle yes you can order their sauce! I can't wait to try they're chicken & beignets and they're egg rolls. I'll be back... Support Triton Yards and all the Food Trucks businesses that pass through. Be sure to check out my pics.

Yelp
Location was hard to find due to no signage, but once we figured out where to turn in, we just guessed we were in correct spot. Super cute scene , waiting about 35 minutes. Got the fried shrimp with creole sauce. Was nice and fresh. Ordered and sat at one of sections.

Yelp
My experience was amazing here! I went to the food truck one time prior, so I knew what I wanted and how to order it! I drove over an hour away to come to the *GRAND OPENING* here in Marietta ... and it was well worth the drive. :) The customer service was AMAZING! And the food was also amazing! Everything from the presentation, taste, & freshness! I love seeing a 'Black Owned' Business prosper. I'm excited for the potential this business has at this location. 10/10

Yelp
Let me tell you something, I waited awhile for this cause they were short staffed, but this was worth it. So good. I would definitely go back. Customer service was dope even thought they were short staffed so food was taking longer and people was giving them kind of a hard time about it. They handled themselves. Definitely will be going back.

Yelp
Great food wonderful service atmosphere beautiful. DONT TIP WITH CREDIT CARD. I REPEAT DO NOT TIP WITH CREDIT CARD. IT GOES TO THE OWN AND NOT THE GREAT PEOPLE THATS SERVING YOU !!!!!! Ask about tipping in cash or cash app request. I tipped these wonderful people $20 and I was devastated when I found out they don't even get it. Fucking rip off!!!

Yelp
My boyfriend loves this place so much that we decided to go back! I ordered the Bourbon Street Wings with the Bourbon Ranch Fries. I ate and was full and still had food leftover to warm up later. This will always be a solid food truck option for me!

Yelp
I am beyond grateful that I had this experience today! The thing that stood out the most to me (aside from the amazing food which I will get to in just a few) was Markel and his dope customer service. He greeted every single person with the same energy every single time. He even gave me a fist bump (which I didn't see anyone else get HAHA). It's the small personal touches that make a customer feel like they're welcome and I felt like I was a part of the family with that one gesture. Now to the beginning. I pulled up to the spot at about 12:30 and there was already a line down the sidewalk. Whew! I had to circle around twice because I wasn't quite sure where to park but I ended up parking back behind the food truck lot. There were ample parking spaces but I did notice the lot right next to the food truck was packed! People knew to get there early. I'll know for next time. By the time I got in line it was about 12:45. I stood in the heat with the other patrons and we laughed and chatted while we waited. Although it was really warm it wasn't that bad as there was cool breeze that didn't stop. I finally got to Markel at about 1:15 or so and he asked if I had any questions (after the fist bump...just had to remind y'all lol). Luckily I had done my research already and was ready to order. I selected the Chicken & Beignets, Bourbon St. Shrimp Basket with the Bourbon St. Ranch fries ($1.00 upcharge), and the Jambalaya Egg Rolls. I figured that would be enough food lol. Markel thanked me for my order and tip and said he'd call me when my food was ready and that if I wanted to go wait in the car in the A/C and check back in about 20-30 minutes it would be cool... so I went to my car. I decided to check back after about 30 minutes and ended up waiting another 10 minutes or so before my name was called. Honestly not bad because the food was cooked fresh and was delicious! I made it home and dug in as I was pretty hungry. The egg rolls were dynamite. I love the chewy texture of the exterior and of course the ingredients inside were sooooo good! It was drizzled with a creamy Creole sauce. Amazing! The Bourbon St. Shrimp were really good as well. I loved that sauce. The fries were delicious too! Whew! The fried chicken and beignets knocked my socks off! Cool remix of the classic chicken and waffles that most people are familiar with. That also had a nice Praline Pecan sauce drizzled on top. I say the hour and fifteen minute wait (give or take) was well worth it! I am definitely going back. I recommend bringing with you a bottle of water at the least. One lady brought her lawn chair and umbrella lol...she was a regular I'm guessing. I love New Orleans and I'm so glad these guys are here in Atlanta. Black owned and operated. Definitely a family joint... and now my family because of... you guessed it, the fist bump!

Yelp
First of all, LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I've probably tried everything on the menu and everything is bomb! That bbq sauce though!!!! Just get a bottle. The highlight though is the jambalaya egg rolls and the chicken and beignets! If I could have it every Sunday I would.

Yelp
Never Have I EVER Gone To Support ANY Black Owned Business And Been So Disrespected In My Life. After Ordering Our Food, My Wife And I Was Given A Tablet To Put Our Phone Number And Email Address In For Points. I GUESS It Took Us TOO LONG! Longer Than The Workers Were Wanting To Wait Obviously, Because They Started Talking About My Wife. The Person Who Took Our Order Responded With Snide Remarks Saying, "Dang, What You Doing, Putting Your Social Security Number In?" And "Damn, Could You Go Any Slower." Whole At The Same Time, The Cooks Egged On The Situation Saying "Well, You Just Said What All Of Us In Here Were Thinking." All Of Which Was Totally Unacceptable!!!! I DON'T CARE IF IT TOOK 20 MINUTES!!!!!!! That Is NOT The Way You Treat Your Customers, ESPECIALLY IN THEIR FACE!!!! It Was Rude And Disrespectful And Showed A Lack Of Maturity. This Was Our First And Will Surely Be The Last Visit! Honestly, We Were So Turned Off By The Behavior That We Didn't Even Have The Appetite To Eat The Food. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Mouthwatering taste, seasoned to perfection and really good service. Warning: this is not a fast food drive thru...but waiting while listening to great music and talking with good people it part of the expee

Yelp
Went on a Sunday at 1 when they opened and needless say, the line was around the corner. I did have an umbrella to block the sun but honestly it was still hot AF. Jumping right in...they should have a better system of taking orders. I witnessed 2 people faint from standing in the heat. That is a personal choice but for some seafood is not worth it if you're out here fainting. Once I did get to finally place my order it was maybe a 15 min wait. Maybe take a certain amount of orders, 10 or something, so they will be in and give a realistic time for the wait and once food is being distributed take the next set of orders. If a person will stand in line for an hour then have to wait 30 more mins for it to cook..,they can wait 45 mins to an hour to wait til their food is ready for pickup if you're proactively taking more than 1 -2 orders at a time. Work your lines like Chick-fil-A does. People will just have to be on a waiting list just like you are waiting for a table at a restaurant. Taking orders one by one and that same person taking orders has to stop to call Keisha Kima and Pams name to come get their food, a lot of time wasted. You guys should try to invest in some buzzers to let people know their order is ready or send a text option like some restaurants do. It gives the public a chance to go back to their cars or walk around or just merely sit. An hour and a half standing in line is a lot. Also maybe have a separate person handing out food. It was a lot of people appalled from what overheard. The food was good but not good enough for me to stand in another line. I traveled to try this and because of that, it was the only reason I didn't leave. The sauces taste really good and the shrimp /fries were also. The beignets were cold and very, very doughy. I was disappointed in that. Not sure if I would be back and if so, It depends if it's 4 people in front of me versus 28.

Yelp
This place does it proper, amazing, fried shrimp and delicious beignets. As long as the owners are there, expect to get quality food and a great experience. My only gripe is that the GPS leads you to some railroad yard. The food truck is across the street from where the GPS will take you, but other than that the food was on point. I would recommend it!

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I waited in line for over an hour The eggrolls were trash. The gumbo had the darkest rue I had ever seen in my life. After one hour, the gumbo got hard and the liquid started to absorb into whatever else was inside the styrofoam cup. I ordered something else but dont remember. Did I mention I paid close to $60 bucks. Will never return. The owner was taking pictures rather than help with orders. Just a horrible experience.

Yelp
After months and months of watching their ads on Instagram I just HAD to give them a try. I arrived a little over an hour before closing and waited in line about 30 minutes and another 30 minutes for my food to be cooked. Though the wait was very long, it was certainly well worth it! The food is full of favor, very fresh and very filling. Cooked to perfection! They unfortunately sold out of the wings and beignets and I did really want to try those but I'll definitely be back. I opted for the Bourbon shrimp basket, upgraded the fries and also got the jambalaya egg rolls. Soooo good! If you're in the Atlanta area and craving some good food I highly suggest stopping by!

Yelp
It hurts me so bad to be writing this but I am highly disappointed! The hype and pictures have had me salivating for months. This truck is only available 2 days a week so it has been kinda difficult to schedule time to visit. My sister and I have been determined so we drove an hour on a Sunday so elated to finally be giving it a try. We waited in line for about an hour and Ordered about $100 worth of food each. We got the bourbon wings, cajun wings, bourbon fries, shrimp po boy, jambalaya egg rolls, and beignets. EVERYTHING was subpar! The wings were undercooked, and everything else was EXTREMELY salty!!!! Like inedibly salty! I was so disappointed and hungry! They put a bunch of sauce on everything to mask the lack of flavor and taste. I was really hoping to love this place but I wont be returning. Just proves to show looks can be deceiving, and DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE!

Yelp
The food was in one word, amazing. I got their gumbo egg rolls, which are humongous & just bursting with flavor. My husband had their shrimp, which he shared & it was perfection, this is coming from someone who doesn't even like shrimp so that should mean something, like really their food is G-O-O-D. Their food truck is located in this beautiful little setup completed with chairs, tables & umbrellas. I should've taken pictures but them about to close I didn't want to annoy them & stand there giggling snapping pictures like an idiot lol but trust me it's a cute setting & very unique in my opinion, I never seen a food truck that came with its own chic sitting area so hey, can you blame me? Go here, you'll leave happy & full.

Yelp
The Jambalaya egg rolls were very good. The sauce wasn't overly spicy which was great for me as a woman of a certain age. They were very busy and they asked my friend for his name, which they wrote on his container. When we picked up our order I noticed they wrote "Boy" on the other container. Judgemental much?? Just because I'm wearing low-top Chucks and natural hair does not mean I have a penis!
