Counting Down the Best Restaurants in Marietta | Eater Atlanta

"Tucked into a quaint strip off of Canton Road, this charming, family-run roastery and cafe brings a taste of founders Arthur and Luisana Beaudet’s combined French-Dominican heritage to every cup of coffee. Mindfully sourced and expertly micro-roasted beans (seasonal single-origin lots and a signature Classique espresso) deliver sweet, nuanced flavor without a hint of bitterness. The small breakfast and lunch menu features house-baked biscuits and baguettes along with savory bites like a vegan avocado tartine and a hearty breakfast burrito. The airy, light-filled space is as conducive to sending emails as to catching up with friends. Closed on Sundays." - Sarah Bisacca

Very popular- tight parking and limited. Coffee was fantastic! I got a lavender vanilla oat milk iced latte and it was not too sweet and the coffee flavor was amazing. The cashier was very nice and went over my order to ensure I got what I wanted. I also loved that she asked if I wanted full pumps of both flavors or half and half of the flavors so it was too sweet! Also got a peach scone and it wasn’t dry like most scones- it was perfect with nice chunks of peaches. Got these to go, though they have lots of menu options that are nice sit down breakfast types of food if you like. There is a little service area with the lids as well as sugar and honey to add to your drink it you need. Overall loved my experience, and I will be back😊

Google
Cafe Clement is a top notch cafe in Marietta. They have an exquisite espresso that I truly enjoyed while in town for a few days. Here are the deets on the espresso: Roast: Rich Medium, with a hint of mocha and smokiness, fruit and/or floral aroma Taste: Delicious and smooth with no bitterness or acidity or aftertaste. Crema: Shining bright I ordered my go to Vanilla Oat Milk Latte and I also had a chocolate almond croissant which was delicious. Would I return. Definitely!!!

Google
Cafe clement is my absolute favorite coffee shop! Their brown sugar latte is perfectly sweet, but not too sweet which is just the way I like it, and their chocolate croissants and avocado toast are INCREDIBLE. I love meeting friends and clients here because I can always count on their food being amazing, their staff being kind, and their shop being clean and welcoming. Thank you, cafe clement, for going above and beyond for our community!

This café was a great halfway point for my friend and me to meet up for brunch. We had such a nice time catching up. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Parking was a little tough, but totally worth it for the food. The peach tart was my favorite! I also love how kid-friendly the place is. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
This was has a nice decor and a good vibe. The staff were very friendly. The pancakes were a little crumbly and some parts of the bacon were overcooked. The mocha was good. The parking is limited and the place tends to have few tables available even on a week day. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I found my local favorite cafe. Their drink menu is amazing, but their food?.. Nahhhh it's unmatched. We had chicken and rice and salmon bagel. It was amazing. The food shows that they care about their quality. Just come and try it if you can't believe me. You won't regret it. 😉

Google
I recently visited Café Clément in Marietta and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The café exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing coffee break. I ordered an espresso, a cookie, and an orange and almond muffin. The espresso was rich and robust, showcasing the café’s dedication to quality coffee. The cookie was delightful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The orange and almond muffin stood out with its moist consistency and harmonious blend of citrus and nutty flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive, contributing to the warm ambiance of the place. For anyone in the Marietta area seeking a charming café with top-notch offerings, I highly recommend Café Clément.

This is one of our go to places to get breakfast/brunch. We REALLY love the food! Their breakfast burrito is an instant winner and the pancakes are bangin! This little place is really cool and only if it had the outdoor scenery to match the food and service it would be the perfect place. One thing to note is the parking lot is small and awards shaped. Don’t be an idiot like some people and block the entrance or exit by parking like a muppet. Over flow park can be found just across the street in the adjacent plaza across the street.

Yelp
Wow wow wow I'm so excited to have found this little place--be warned, super tiny parking lot and gets crowded/packed fast! If you can grab a spot and make your way inside, you'll find a bunch of really great pastries, food options, and coffee. We got: Capuccino: My friend recommended this to me and it was DELISH. I got it with almond milk and it was ultra creamy and rich, which is rarely the case with almond milk bevvies (to me). This was no diluted starbucks drink, that's for sure. Mocha: My hubby liked this one, only saying 1 other mocha joint was "better"--mind you, the place he was talking about is only found in bougie NYC and Cali, so that means it's good! Biscuit egg sandwich: The biscuit is second only to another location that sprinkles sea salt on top of their biscuit; otherwise, it's buttery, lightly crunchy on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside. Pair this with a beautifully layered egg (not the french scramble that my hubby likes, but I prefer this kind) and it's a rich, decadent, and very filling breakfast/brunch/lunch/snack! Lemon cookie (GF): This looked to soft and pillowy not to try, and it was very zesty and delicate. Surprisingly, this was not too sweet--I assumed it'd be a sugar bomb considering it's rolled in powdered sugar, but it's totally mild and good for those of us who need tea with literally anything sugar. House baguette: There was 1 left, literally staring me in the face and screaming IM FRESH, EAT ME! So I grabbed it and took it home. Pairs wonderfully with butter, and the gluten inside was deliciously chewy. The bread was fragrant and also delicate--so french, so good. I would love to come here again and try more of the items on their menu. Definitely a must to check out!

Yelp
Café Clement really brings a slice of France to Marietta. From flaky pastries to solid breakfast and sandwich options, they've got it all. I usually keep it simple with their breakfast sampler bacon, eggs, and toast but I've been eyeing those fluffy pancakes on the menu. The vibe is what makes it though. Natural light pouring in, clean minimal aesthetic, and a space that just feels good to sit in. Perfect spot for a latte, quick lunch, or even knocking out some WFH hours. Coffee? Solid 5/5 and I don't just hand those out. Parking can be a little tight, but it's free, and they've got reliable Wi-Fi plus plenty of space to work. Honestly, this is one of those gems in Marietta that deserves way more shine. Definitely worth pulling up on if you're into good vibes and great coffee

Yelp
Why not 5-stars? Space. This place is tight. Tight inside. Tight-tight-tight parking lot. Quick, considering the freshness of the food and the line out the door. This was excellent coffee and excellent food. Loved my ham and swiss. Nice selection of sweet and savory foods for a small coffee shop. Service was friendly, despite being harried. The ONLY thing this place is wanting is more space.

Yelp
Cute restaurant and bright inside. It's a place your order 1st then sit or go. the price point was a bit higher than I expected, but what I ordered was good sans presentation. I ordered the breakfast burrito. Nice portion. My only peeve was the ingredients were not evenly distributed across. I prefer tasting everything in each bite. Instead 1side was loaded with avocado and no onions and the opposite on the other portion. The burrito wrap tasted and felt home made--but maybe my mind was playing tricks on me? Service was tad slow as there was 1 person making the hot Java and specialty drinks and taking orders. Cashier/barista hands a # for your order if eating in. Receiving food was reasonable wait. Condiment bar included water jar and glasses for self-serve. you're responsible for disposing your dishes My Burrito was around $13 after tax. 7/1/2025 I'll try the salmon bagel next visit.

Yelp
Loved the hot vanilla latte Baguette was nice and crispy, served with whipped butter and jam. Chocolate chip cookie was great. Parking lot is free but spaces are tight. The cafe is small and tables are close together. There is WiFi
google avatar

Don H.

Yelp
Food and service was awesome. Parking is a challenge, especially playing Frogger crossing Canton Road.

Scott R.

Yelp
Coffee is roasted in house throughout the week. High quality ingredients and precision are top priority. Owner is very involved in daily operations to ensure everything is the best it can be. Nice, relaxed vibe inside and fresh air seats outside. Chain gang coffee will be a disappointment in comparison. Free refills on filtered coffee!

Yelp
As many times that i have driven by this place i never tried it till the other day and im truly upset that I've been missing out! It gives me Italian bakery vibes! I had the cortado and the cesare salad with smoked salmon and it hit every spot that needed to be hit! The salad was so light and refreshing the only thing i didn't like was the bread crumbs on top, it felt like sand in my mouth but i couldn't stop eating the salad so i pushed them out the way as much as possible. I'll be back!
google avatar

Roza H.

Yelp
It's a cute hidden gem! Food was great. I had scrambled eggs with chicken and baguette. Bread was fresh and warm. Chicken was well seasoned . My chai was delicious. Service was quick. Parking is tight - would recommend avoiding rush hour times .

Yelp
In looking for a new breakfast spot this place was recommended and although it was a breakfast restaurant before it will be Burger Store to me where I would walk to as a child. The food was delicious and it had a quant urban vibe to eat. It was definitely a memorable experience.

Yelp
I came here to meet with a friend and was curious to see what they had to offer. Yes, when you arrive, you're confused and you're like, "this is the place" due to the tucked away location but it's very close to the square. What I love was the inviting environment. The staff is so friendly and so willing to assist you and make sure you're having a great experience. I got a matcha which I could tell was high quality ceremonial grade. I did sweeten it with a little honey but it was nice. I love how they use real serveware and not to-go serveware. It's very rare to have that. I love how it's a cafe that's great to work at, hang with friends or family, or just chill. I ended up working here for some time after my friend left and it was very relaxing. The music was great -just vibes! The food was incredible! Definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the burrito which has eggs, pasture-raised sausage, and avocado! It's a MUST GET! Not only was it super filling, it was incredibly fresh! That sausage was incredible! I love how they are farm to table focused and you can tell it in the quality of their food. They even sold beurre d'signy butter--yes, that fancy butter from Isigny, France. I will definitely come back again. Great service, food, and vibes. You gotta come here. :)

Yelp
best matcha in atl area. haven't tried much of anything else. it gets really busy but super cozy and really nice service staff. parking gets rough

Yelp
This place is very cute. Food portion is massive, which justifies the decently priced breakfast items (~$13 as of March 2024). Service dude was kind, he gave valuable recommendations and provided exceptional service. Food also took around 5-10 minutes to come out which is really fast. Overall, this location is excellent and I will definitely be returning whenever I am in Marietta!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent new spot you must visit excellent coffee and great service. Wonderful pastries and food a must visit in Marietta
google avatar

Dawn H.

Yelp
Oh, the coffee and the croissants to die for. The chocolate almond croissant is what all others will be compared to. The decor is so cute You must get there very early or go on the weekend the parking lot is small and fills up quickly.
google avatar

Elaine N.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! First time drop in for breakfast biscuit with sausage, pain au chocolate and coffee! All were so fresh and delicious in very pleasant surroundings. Will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
A little slice of Paris. I don't want to say too much in hope that no one else discovers this cafe. But this spot is so quaint and inviting.
google avatar

Uche N.

Yelp
So cute inside. The customer service was excellent. The food is AMAZING. I had the breakfast burrito and potatoes to go. Whoever thought to put caramelized onions in a breakfast burrito, YOU DESERVE AN AWARD. The coffee is good just a little too strong for me. Probably would ask for one shot of espresso instead of two. Can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
I'd say Café Clément is one, if not the only, of the more up-to-date and chic coffee shops in Marietta. Things you should know: I. PARKING There is parallel parking out front of the cafe and a free, private lot off to the left of the building. Easy. II. SERVICE Friendly ~ they bring your food and/or drinks to your table rather than holler your name. I liked that they had a serve-yourself water station. Also liked that they do latte art here! I find it rare these days. III. QUALITY Café Clément takes pride in sourcing quality coffee ingredients. They also make their syrups inhouse to avoid preservatives. IV. CAPACITY Fair another nt of available seating indoors and outdoors. This place is great for camping out and knocking out work, grabbing a meal, or catching up with loved ones.

Carmen G.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. It is such a cute little cafe and I already can't wait to go back. The coffee, the food, the atmosphere and the service were all incredible! It's a quick service counter, which I prefer, with incredibly well made pastries and breads. They even sell little items like butter, eggs and honey which scream "farm fresh, organic". The peach scone with butter and preserves was beyond amazing. We tried the pancakes, the smoked salmon bagel and the avocado toast. Everything was thoughtfully executed with flavor in every bite. Parking is tight, so plan accordingly. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I am in heaven!!! So happy that Cafe Clément open on Canton Rd! My son and roommates dine here frequently, and now I know why. Their coffee is top quality with a wonderful taste and they have delicious gluten free pastries! I haven't eaten pastries in years and years! Service is speedy and efficient and the ambiance is like a French café. My only wish is that they open earlier than 8am on Saturdays. On other suggestion is to hide the supplies from the dining room - perhaps with film on the glass.

G R.

Yelp
What espresso should taste like! Love this cute spot. Service is great always!! Can get packed and parking sucks sometimes. Food is also tasty!
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
This place is delicious! Yummy coffee, some "healthy" options and the building is adorable. No table service (which prefer) but they keep the order line moving. I will be back. Consider giving them a try.
google avatar

Yelp
This was such a phenomenal place to eat!! So cute, and very nice atmosphere. The staff was super sweet!! My mother and I stopped here on our way to Atlanta and had a lovely meal. The omelette was amazing, and the bread was freshly baked and still warm. The croissants were my favorite though: we got both the almond and the almond with chocolate!! Will definitely be back :)
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and a gluten free lava cake. I also got the apple cinnamon tart. They were all delicious! Reasonably priced and tasty when it was warmed up. The staff were very nice and the interior was lovely, You seat yourself and place the number they give you at your table and they bring everything to you. I studied here on a Monday afternoon and I loved the ambiance and the overall vibe of the cafe. Will definitely be back to study here again!
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
What a cute little spot! Craft coffee shops are hard to come by when you're not in downtown ATL, so I'm glad I checked out this little gem! They make their syrups in house, and the coffee is pretty solid. I got an iced oat milk vanilla latte as well as some pastries and very much enjoyed it. The pastries are also made in house, and they have so many lovely options. I will be back for sure!
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
I have never been so impressed by a coffee shop. Not only do they provide high quality coffees and lattes every time, but they have a huge breakfast and lunch menu that is made with all local ingredients, homemade bread, homemade tortillas, biscuits from scratch.. and perfect sweet pastries if you're in a hurry. No matter who makes the meal or coffee, it's the same quality every single time. The staff is so friendly and they get your orders out quick too! I wish they were open on Sundays
google avatar

Libby P.

Yelp
And I thought one could not find awesome bread in Marietta! I was so wrong! I stopped in since I'd never been before. Super friendly folks. Adorable interior. Coffee was wonderful. Croissant was amazing. Sandwich was great and the bread was outstanding. I'll be back!

Yelp
This place is absolutely phenomenal. Came here for the first time to meet a couple of friends in the area. As soon as you walk in, you can tell that they know what they're doing - at least with the decor & vibes.. I ordered my "safe drink" - an Americano and got an egg biscuit for what I thought would be a light meal. When the egg biscuit came out, I was shocked - it was way bigger and well-made than I had anticipated. The biscuit has a nice fluff to it (great crisp on the outside & soft, chewy on the inside) & the perfectly cooked egg gave it a nice little bounce. The Americano was quite literally the best Americano I have ever had. Usually, an American is an Americano no matter where you get it (which is why it's my safe drink) but you can actually taste the notes of the beans from this Americano. As if that wasn't enough, my Americano came with a cute little home-made sugar cookie on the plate. Softest, chewiest, most delicious sugar cookie I've ever had. This place is about an hour away from where I live but you can bet yourself that I will be back sometime within the next month.

Yelp
This place is great. As a classically trained chef and food snob, I took a short cut from Kennestone and passed this place. The baguettes are perfect, coffee is on point (worked for the Pres. Of the specialty coffee assn. of America from '92-'94 and was an Illy ambassador '95-'96/ so I appreciate well crafted coffee) The menu isn't grandiose by any means, but I appreciate the focus on quality over quantity, nicely done!
google avatar

Madalyn J.

Yelp
Very cute coffee shop! The food was delicious, and the iced coffee was good as well so many great options on the menu- but the avocado toast was incredible! Great place to work as well. We will definitely be back
google avatar

Faydria G.

Yelp
All I have to say about Cafe Clement, is that y'all need to visit this hidden gem. Outside of great the customer service, the food is very, very good. You can also get some work done while eating. I noticed while I was eating. A few people was having zoom meeting and working on they're computers. All in all Cafe Clement was a great fine. I highly recommend.
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
Cute cafe but mixed on the experience. Its pricey. The omelet was good. I would definitely recommend adding a protein but then it was an almost $17 omelet. The drip coffee was not great. I think in the area there's a lot better quality. Service was good. They do have gluten free options but things are all mixed in the case so seemed risky. They do offer oat and almond milk for those that are dairy free. Definitely a fun or cute place to try just wish it wasn't so pricey and the coffee had been better. If the coffee is on point then it's worth the price!

Matthew P.

Yelp
Incredible coffee! And gluten free dessert options too. Vibes were great for working. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Delicious! So happy to have a new cafe in that area/ anywhere in the marietta/ kennesaw area for foodie breakfast too. Cute little spot. Super knowledgeable baristas, it seems. Very friendly and helpful. Fancy lattes w latte art, incredible fresh pastries, and some breakfast and lunch options. Their website showed they really care about their coffee beans, the farm, the process-- good quality coffee. Love that. It was semi busy when we went on week day morning. Mostly with people working on their laptops. I had the same idea, to finish up work, and sadly, the wifi was being used too much and it wouldn't connect/ kicked me off a lot. Over ten laptops in there. Lol I'll get a hotspot text time. I ordered the breakfast burrito and added in sausage. They have good quality ingredients, many being local- the sausage was from a farm in Cleveland GA- love that. And they make their own syrups too. Impressive! The burrito was good. Not over the top delicious, but pretty good. Good portion, but was pricey to start and I added sausage for $4 more so extra pricey lol. We shared it though. My son got the pancakes and maple syrup, and we added strawberries. Again, pricey for what it is-- BUT I'm pretty sure they make all their own batters and items w healthier, real ingredients, so I'll pay up for that. Real food! He also had one scrambled egg on the side. He loved them and a large portion of pancakes so he ate half later. My vanilla oatmilk, half caff latte was delicious! In a ceramic mug mmm. My boyfriends whole milk Cappuccino was also good he said. Pretty latte art too. Tasted so good! And I'm very picky w coffee quality . Boujie lol. We also shared an almond croissant-- to die for!!! So good and you can taste the love. Freshly baked. Mmm A lot of windows and light, great music -- calm but upbeat. A very relaxing place to hang. They have a place with water and glasses to get your own. They had other bottled drinks etc too. We can't wait to come back. A small parking lot but wasn't too bad. Found parking right away. Not sure how tough on weekends. Also- so funny- for some reason they have the right door locked and everyone including us, tries to open it- duh, it's the door you should use. But they only have the left door working... soooo you watch everyone struggle lol made me giggle. They should fix that lol. Can't wait to try more items! And have coffee again!
google avatar

Brandy B.

Yelp
The coffee was very good. We have a handful of coffee shops we visit regularly because they have good coffee and can make a latte where you can truly taste the coffee. This place is now on our list. The pastries were amazing , they even have gluten free options. Hope to try the brunch offerings on our next visit.
google avatar

Robert K.

Yelp
Great little cafe. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. Good alternative to all the fast food restaurants nearby.
google avatar

Salam D.

Yelp
I am so familiar with this location when it was another establishment not the prettiest but this cafe gave me the best food ever ! The freshest ingredients and yes it is a little pricey for such good food I will pay a little more . Had great lunch with my daughter very filling for 30 dollars not bad at all . Every one is super friendly and helpful service is great . You order at counter and they bring the food to you . Seating is a little tight especially for a mid size woman like myself lol but cozy and clean . A little loud as it is a cafe but reminds me of coffee shops in NY ! Again little pricey yes and yes making is a challenge and not prettiest location but once inside it will be so worth it trust me !!!!
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Road tripping can be SO LONG! So we searched and found this really awesome place. Usually places either have good coffee and not so good food or the opposite...not here...BOTH coffee and food were excellent! And the pastries were crazy delicious!!!
google avatar

Dana M.

Yelp
What a treasure nestled on Canton Highway. The coffee is absolutely outstanding and is freshly roasted in house. The washed stuff from Kenya in the pink bag was just perfect. I also had a really great hot baguette. I had a gluten-free lemon cookie that had fantastic flavor but I just don't like that gluten-free texture.
google avatar

Dylan G.

Yelp
Yea it is cozy and peaceful. Parking is the worst part. Everything else is very good.
google avatar

Sean K.

Yelp
I found this gem listed on the Marietta Collection and it's Amazing!!! Café Clément is just located minutes from Marietta Square and it's 1000% worth a drive over for some great coffee and delectables. Such a cool place inside with light colors and great open seating. I was greeted immediately and I ordered a Cortado $3.80 and she asked if I wanted it hot or iced. Iced of course!! I had to order something from the pastry case and opted for a chocolate chip cookie which is pig as my palm and looks like it was baked in my mom's kitchen. They also offer breakfast and lunch items and I will definitely be going back for more!! I will be putting this on a regular stop in my week!
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
I came back the following day with my husband. We were eager to try the breakfast items! I ordered my same Latte (oatmilk w/ caramel) but this time it was iced. I feel like it was even better iced - highly recommend! For my meal, I got the breakfast burrito (no meat added). The caramelized onions really set that off for me! Delicious!!! My husband got the pancakes with berries (with a side of chicken). The pancakes were so fluffy, rich and the perfect consistency! I didn't try the chicken but my husband said it was really good. I'll definitely be back on a weekly basis.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is an absolute gem and I can't recommend it enough. Normally the first thing I want to do when I find a new really great place is leave a review and spread the word! But admittedly, this was the first time I actually thought twice. This coffee shop is so great I selfishly don't want anyone else to find out so it can keep being a hidden treasure. But that'd be bad for business, so here we are... Aesthetics are top notch. Great decor, amazing jazz music, feels super clean and nice. Wonderful service. The coffee is so freaking good. And they actually make their own sauces! And they're cheaper than Starbucks! And they have fantastic food! Menu is a combination of breakfast and lunch and it all has a real high-quality presentation and flavor. Glad I found this place before they blow up. They're really that good.
google avatar

Shane O.

Yelp
A really great place for coffee and cake or something more substantial (eg. omelette, sandwich, soup,..) The folks here take great pride in the coffee and really want you to get the best experience when you visit. They advise on different coffees available and are really interested in how you found them. Its very easy to be a fan of Cafe Clement - the people care and the cafe is friendly and has a clean design to it. As you can tell I am a fan and frequent visitor.
google avatar

Yelp
I almost don't want to review, because I want to keep this place a hidden gem! *Ambiance is on point. Modern farmhouse meets Scandinavian minimalist. *Pastries were yummmmy. I wanted to try them all. We did not, but we did get the almond chocolate croissant & banana chocolate chip muffin - the latter was more of a chocolate chunk muffin with some banana and walnuts, but I was not upset about it. *Gluten-free options available, like an orange almond cake. *The food menu items looked also delicious & I only saw empty plates being returned. The avocado looked perfect. Will definitely need to go back & try this very soon. *Everyone there, patrons & staff alike, were happy & friendly. They bring you your food and coffees & you bus your own tables.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly staff, and tasty coffee. Oh, and the inside of the cafe is super cute. Great place to have breakfast and coffee with a friend or to go to get work done. Super happy we have a place like this in the area!

Yelp
Food prepared using the freshest ingredients. I was looking for a breakfast place like this in our area.

Sachiko F.

Yelp
Homemade chicken soup was delicious!! Second sip than first sip, third sip than second sip... getting more flavorful and deep tastes. It is served in a huge bowl with rice in it. Good portion for lunch. You can add side salad, baguette, croissants etc. if you would like. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Still my favorite place!
