"Cafe Con Leche is a neighborhood staple in Logan Square that’s been around for over 20 years. What started as a small counter-service sandwich and coffee shop has since evolved into a casual, all-day restaurant serving Latin and Mexican dishes like tacos, fajitas, and platos like ropa vieja and tampiquena. Nothing on the menu will make you unhappy, but the real highlight here is the bistec jibarito. It comes with a scoop of garlic butter that not only adds amazing flavor to the fried plantain, but can—and should—be repurposed as a dip for the fries. Wash it all down with a frozen mojito." - Veda Kilaru

"This colorful Cuban restaurant serves tasty cubano sandwiches that stay crunchy on the outside and melty on the inside, even if you order to-go. You’ll also find things like tostones and rice and bean plates, but we find the sandwiches and fries here to be most satisfying - especially with the cilantro sauce that comes on the side." - Aimee Rizzo

The food is always good. I got a bolon mixto and humitas. The girls are so kind and friendly. I’ve been going to this spot for some time and it never disappoints. I love their Morocho too

The food did not have that Puerto Rican Taste. I was very disappointed. I didn't enjoy any of the food. The garlic sauce was very good. The bread they give you was also very good. The rice wasn't good the Pernil was nasty. It was very oily. The juice passionfruit was water down. I even told the waiter it was a Waterdown juice. The place is nice but what good is a nice place if the food is not what you expect. If you say Puerto Rican food it should have that Spanish food taste. Sorry will NOT returned there again. I traveled a long distance to be very disappointed.

Morrocho is always delicious and so is the bread , worth the money and the employees are so nice and quick to service. Took some home because this is one of my favorite Ecuadorian stores

Bread is ok, highlands (Sierra) style. Coffe was good. The cashier/manager has terrible manners and zero customer service skills. I had lunch another day, it was so so and a bit pricey for the area, plastic utensils. The only good thing is the servers, extremely nice and attentive.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Today, around 4 we stopped by because me and my kids were hungry. We aren’t from here we were visiting family members. We went inside and already the guy in the cash register was yelling at a person saying that the bathroom was occupied but continued to buzz the bathroom door… like?? Then we sat down, we was waiting for a few because we thought we were going to get a menu by a waitress, but my father got up and went to go ask for them. The guy hands him the menus so rudely, and then we were looking at what we were going to eat and my dad went to go ask the guy where or who do we place our order to, right? And the guy was like where do you think, here obviously, and my dad was like but I have 2 babies is there anyway you could take our order from our tables and he said “NO, who ever wants to eat, has to order here and if not you could leave”. We decided to leave because it was so rude and disrespectful. What kind of business is this! Porquería de lugar!!!

If you want to be treated with respect don't visit this place. I was yelled at and humiliated by the man behind the counter for asking him for the keys to the bathroom while sitting and waiting to be attended to. He is a horrible person who looks down at his customers.

I asked how the food was prepared kindly and the owner said it was a stupid question he continued yelling and told me to leave. Out side the real owner arrived he apologized for his employee and asked me to order my food. I try to understand the situation and went inside and orders again was insulted and told to leave ... No food is worth the humiliation...... Wow
