"Cafe Crepe is a great quick breakfast option if you show up before noon on the weekends. It won't be more than a 15-minute wait, though it might feel longer standing in the cold. This is also the best spot in Big Bear for a quality espresso drink, whether it's a standard cortado or busier stuff like a honey latte with lavender whipped cream. Still, the excellent crepes are the main thing here. We like the sweet and simple Jammin' with raspberry jam or the Complète if we're hungry: it comes rolled like a burrito filled with soft scrambled eggs, cheese, and plenty of ham." - Sylvio Martins

The wait was a bit long but totally worth it for the quality and taste of food and coffee you get. The service was great, the pricing is reasonable and the crepes are amazing. We got the cinnamon crepe (delicious), the complete (amazing), a caramel cold brew per his recommendation and a honey lavender latte. No complaints here and would 10/10 recommend!

Drove past this coffee spot the previous night and knew I had to stop here for breakfast and man..did Cafe Crepe deliver! Their peppermint mocha was bomb! The Fireside Crepe was delicious and satisfied the apple pie craving I’ve been dreaming about. 10/10 would come back

Eco conscious, adorable shaded seating area but drive through option as well, very friendly staff with quality food and drink👌 Got an americano and Little Goat crepe with added strawberries, per the staff recommendation for a savory and sweet combo. Yum!! Would’ve preferred hot food in something other than plastic but I’m sure other to-go ware is pricey. (Someone really needs to come up with an affordable recyclable or compostable option for all take out places). Really enjoyed this cute spot. Absolutely worth a stop in or drive through!

Fantastic little spot! Crepes are legit delicious, and the lattes are equally amazing. I ordered at the window, versus the drive thru. I had gotten the Fireside, and my S/O got the Deja Vu. The crepe itself was cooked to perfection, and they were liberal with their fruits in the crepe. Ordered 2 Honey Lattes (one whole milk, and one oat milk). They were both delicious as well! Hit the spot on that nice morning.

This is such a cute spot, it was hard not to come in and try it. The first time we came here my husband didn't want anything. I ended up taking my dog with me and ordered at the walk-up window. I ended up getting the Strawberries Field Forever crepe with the house made chocolate and a hot Vanilla Latte (small size is 16 oz). The employee saw my dog and offered her a dog biscuit. I let my husband try my latte and he loved it. We ended up coming here again just for coffee and decided to use the drive-thru. However, the cars ahead of us had both ordered crepes and the guy taking our order told us to go ahead and park somewhere in the parking lot. They called my husband's name when our coffee was ready. That would be the only negative I observed... the drive-thru being so tiny and a little awkward for orders that take time to make.

Really good flavorful and scrumptious crepes! I got the cream salmon crepe and was not dissapointed. Wife got the cinnamon crepe and it was nice and warm. The specialty drinks are really good too!!! Would recommend this place for a light nice meal!

Decent crepe shop, but didn't think they were anything to write home about. Would give it 3.5/5 if that were possible. We got here just before it got crowded on a Sunday morning. Took us about 12 minutes to place our order (we were the third group in line). The line got way longer after us and I did see folks in line waiting for about 30 -ish minutes. We got the "complete" and the "strawberry fields forever" with a cup of drip coffee and a gingerbread chai. Order took about 15 minutes to be prepared. The complete was good. I'd order it again. We added spinach, which I thought was a good idea. The strawberry fields forever was just okay. The dough was a little dry for some reason and the strawberries weren't particularly sweet. The coffee initially had way too much cream before they fixed it. Though that seems to be a pattern in Big Bear (another coffee shop did the same). Gingerbread chai seemed like a fun drink, even though the wife didn't finish it (I think it might have been sweet and cloying). Overall, would probably go again if we are in the area, though if the line is long, won't wait.

Came back after going yesterday and I don't regret it at all. The guy that was helping me was super friendly. (didn't catch his name unfortunately) I tried their ham & cheese crepes as well as their Nutella crepes and they are absolutely delicious. I also got whipped cream and a hazelnut latte. Best brunch ever. Also a great way to end my trip as I'm heading home. I hope to come again sometime in the future.

Yelp
Oh My Chai... what a delicious combination of Pumpkin and Chai Tea Latte with whipped cream paired with with a Sweet Dejavú Crepe with a side of Coconut Whipped Cream. The atmosphere here is all... outdoors. The coffee kitchen is a small shack with no inside dining or lounging. There is plenty of sitting area outside with a lot of happy furry tails with their doggy parents. The parking situation is great, there is a small space on the side but if you drive deeper in you will see the big parking lot. Price Total: $27.00

Yelp
Placed an online order to speed up the process before heading to the shop. Got to the shop and I thought they would be ready but they started them when we got there. It was our first time there so we didn't know there was a pick up window and they never said where to pick up so we waiting at the front for our coffee for 15 min. Walked around since it was taking a bit (no one else was there) and saw the coffees sitting inside ready... Parking was easy and the coffee was good at least! Would probably try other spots next time

Yelp
The food was okay, but the service really ruins the experience. The cashier yelled at us and also had an unpleasant frown that just ruined my day. I even complemented their food, but she gave me a non-genuine "good day" and slammed the window shut. I love crepes, but definitely won't be returning here if the cashiers give us this amount of attitude.

Sam S.

Yelp
So far this is the best breakfast place I found in big bear. The crepes were good but the coffee could be better. Service was fast , the ambiance was nice and quiet, there is a lot of seating available, everything is outdoors though.

Lisa C.

Yelp
Came here twice during our group stay in Big Bear. They have unique drink options and a cute backyard patio. It's a popular place so it can be crowded at peak times.

Ivan P.

Yelp
It was so good! Taste almost like traditional Russian pancakes. I was so happy after visit them.

Marisela V.

Yelp
On our way out of Big Bear, we stopped by a charming coffee shop and ordered two Pumpkin Patch hot coffees--one with whipped cream and one without. This cozy spot is also known for its crepes, but we were short on time and only grabbed coffee. There's plenty of parking, and they offer a lovely seating area in the back with several tables. I'm not usually a pumpkin spice fan, but I really enjoyed this drink. It wasn't too sweet, just rich with flavor. Highly recommend stopping by!

Cinthia S.

Yelp
We had to try some crepes while in the area. Service was good and pretty quick. We ordered banana crepe with nutella and also some hot chocolate as it was freezing although there was sunshine. There was a small bar to sit while waiting for your order. They also have cute seating area in the back. Our crepes were delicious that at first my son did not want any but ended up eating mine lol. We will definitely be back soon since we have one more trip coming up to Big Bear Lake.

Yelp
We recently visited Café Crêpe and had an incredible experience, all thanks to Sandy. Her warm and genuine welcome made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. She was attentive and caring, creating a welcoming atmosphere that turned a regular meal into something special. Sandy's kindness and positive energy are rare, and she truly made our visit unforgettable. Café Crêpe is lucky to have her, and we can't wait to return for the food and outstanding service.

Yelp
I was excited to try cafe crepe but we were kinda disappointed and spent over $45. My partner and I ordered the Complete and double cream salmon savory crepe. They tried selling me on adding egg and spinach to the salmon crepe and I did. Well there was barely any egg, actually i don't even think they put any cause I didn't see or taste anything. The one thing that I'll give them is the coffee is good. I did enjoy our drinks. Other than that, overly priced and would skip.

Lizette M.

Yelp
Went this past weekend, the 2 employees i encountered were both very kind! My partner and i loved the crepe with nutella & whipped cream. My partner ordered matcha latte as well. The atmosphere was so great after our hike nearby. We will definitely stop by when we visit Big Bear again!

Marina K.

Yelp
I've been here twice, and it was so good. The backyard is pretty, and the coffee is great. The crepes are amazing. Just ask to have them served on a plate; otherwise, they will put it in plastic container.

Mihrdat Y.

Yelp
Big Bear has become my second home. I am here often, but I have not had a chance to try Cafe Crepe. We drive by this establishment every time and have not had the chance to make a true put stop to try their offerings. That changed one Sunday ago! They have an assortment of drinks along with, of course you guessed it, crepes. My wife had the strawberry/nutella crepe and it was pretty good, along with a vanilla latte with oat milk. I ordered their drip coffee and did enjoy it as well. You can tell most of the visitors were not locals at all, and seemed impatient while waiting for their orders. I thought that their staff was friendly and attentive, even with the chaos around them.

Christina H.

Yelp
This is the second time trying Cafe crepe and I was sad as they were out of strawberries AND bananas. So I tried the Jammin' crepe with blueberry jam and added whip cream. I asked for less jam and it was so good! The other crepe we tried was the Cinnamon Crepe. My daughter said it reminded her of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. My BF got hot chocolate and I had them add whip cream. He's picky when it comes to hot chocolate but he liked it. Prior to ordering we were informed the wait for crepes was about 30-35 minutes and drinks 10 minutes. Let me say this it's better to exaggerate than have impatient people! We got the drinks in about 5 minutes and the crepes were maybe 10 minutes but not more than 15! Be patient it's well worth the wait! They do only have outside tables so if you can grab one while you're waiting especially when the day is nice. The workers are nice so be patient! This is definitely a must try. Either for breakfast OR for a nice dessert!

Laura M.

Yelp
Honestly i loved this place and would love to come back. The service was great (he gave my dog s treat) and they had lots of picnic tables to sit at. I got the complete crepe french style with the sunny side up egg. Delicious, i loved dipping the crepe in the egg and it was super warm. My boyfriend got the gourmande, and he wasn't the biggest fan of the buckwheat dough but the flavors were good. I knocked it a star because of the coffee, i'm not sure what it was but the iced Dirty Chai wasn't quite there, it was really bitter.

Catherine C.

Yelp
Yummy salmon and cream cheese crepe. Served fresh, made to order, pretty fast service, and hot sauce if you ask for it! Take out only, with picnic tables and parking behind the building. This was a little gem without a super long wait time on a sunny Sunday in Big Bear when we were getting ready for the drive back home after a snow fun weekend.

Karen B.

Yelp
Food amazing, beverage amazing, service fantastic, bees nerve raking and may cause someone a trip to ER via bees stick or running into the hwy do too many bees and known allergy. Pest control regular service is really needed.

Christopher A.

Yelp
Excellent food and excellent service; it doesn't get much between than this... We stopped here on a whim after attempting to grab some pickup at Stella Luna, which was unfortunately closed for private dining; what fortuitous and fortunate circumstances. This place was just amazing; the staff and food were wonderful and the small mistake they made was expediently remedied and I left an extremely 'happy camper'. Thanks guys!

Beth S.

Yelp
My neighbor told me that she just loves their honey lavender coffee. I ordered one honey lavender latte ($6.95). It was very pretty. However looks fade. It was not terribly hot, I did not taste any honey in it, there was no sugar available....I guess you have to knock on the glass to get them to open it so that you can ask for sugar (or honey, since I couldn't taste it). They were terribly busy sweeping the floors and I was their only customer. I believe that the clerk should have ASKED if I should want sugar, honey, etc. I will not return. I really wanted to like it. The paper straw unraveled into my drink like an eel swimming in a pail. Blah...

Mariah D.

Yelp
It was my first time in big bear and this cafe had very great reviews so I decided to try it out. I was craving a lavender latte and luckily they had it there. There was a decent amount of people waiting which is a good sign that it was worth standing in below freezing temps for lol. Ordering is simple and quick. I ordered a large honey lavender latte with almond milk and it was definitely the best lavender lattes I've ever had. I didn't try their crepes but I will next time.

Yelp
I saw this place on tiktok and had to try it while I was on vacation with my family. The service was nothing special I wish they were friendlier and more welcoming. They took our order and then the wait for my food felt a little long. The ambience is good they only have outdoor seating and it was chilling but it was nice enjoying our warm drinks while we waited. The food was good too but definitely don't add prosciutto it might be too salty. I asked if they had pepper and they told me there was some on the napkin packet so i went back to my table to check and there wasn't any pepper in there so i went back to the window to ask for it and then without a word she opens the window and gave it to me and she seemed a bit rude.

Lynnette M.

Yelp
I want to start off with customer service Sandie was so rude for no reason from the second I walked up to the window to order I asked what she recommended and she was like idk whatever you're in the mood for like okay ? But overall rude and she seemed just annoyed to even have a normal interaction. I also understand places are busy but she didn't even say hello she just straight up went "it's a 35 Min wait ok for coffee and crepes" which is no problem at all I have time to wait, but then I get my order in 2 min so seems like she just wants people to leave instead of ordering. So I'm like okay move past that I get my drink 0/10 I asked a different lady which was kind she tried adding concentrate but didn't help at all Ended up leaving w a refund.

Heidi L.

Yelp
On a cold day, this place is a godsend! It's a small stand on the side of the road, so no place to sit inside, but they have a cute self service stand and chairs outside. Very extensive menu. Oh La Latte: Excellent, slight Praline flavor. Get it half sweet! Honey Bear Crepe: Lemon adds a nice zest. Hot, fresh, spongy layers Overall: The drinks are a little sweet, but decently priced!

Seren R.

Yelp
Hungry for some breakfast so I stopped by this hidden spot recommended to me by a friend. It's a small and cute espresso bar where you order outside. There are tables behind the bar where you can eat. The complète crepe has cheese and ham inside, along with an egg of choice in the middle (I chose sunny side). I requested garlic cream but I would definitely ask to add spinach too. I ordered the Oh La Latte which was recommended to me by the cashier. Both were yummy, filling, and came out promptly. I would definitely come back to try the sweet crepes next time. Their menu has very unique flavors.

Vix OR S.

Yelp
we've only been there once and i got the lavender coffee, not sure what exactly what it was called. it had this AMAZING lavender whipped cream on top. im not sure how they got it to taste so good! try not to let it melt into your drink, because it messes with the coffee flavor. they make the drinks super quickly, too!

Grace D.

Yelp
The location is easy to get to and there was plenty of parking! The menu was easy to read and all sounded great! The girl at the window however was the opposite of sunshine. She depressingly took our order with abt three annoyed "anything else?" and shut the window immediately. The coffee tasted great but she made the experience sour.

Tracee B.

Yelp
Awesome walk-up window with some limited seating options in the back. Good thing crepes are portable to eat in the car in the colder weather! This place is a must visit in Big Bear. They have crepe and coffee options for everyone, from savory to sweet and boy do they deliver. I would consider the crepes to be shareable and they are full of flavor. The service was also friendly and attentive. The Honey Lavender latte is not too heavy on the lavender, which is nice (not what you would expect with the whipped cream being lavender flavored as well). There was a good balance of sweetness to it. I should've got a large! Would definitely return the next time we make a trip up the mountain.

Anya H.

Yelp
I came here the other day, the drinks were great. I was not in love with the customer service. I give it a 3/5. I still have it a 4/5 because I did love my drinks. I got the peppermint mocha it was good 4/5 My boyfriend got the golden milk 5/5. I recommend getting this drink before you party and when you have a hangover because it natural helps you. Unfortunately they where not serving crepes when I went so I could not try :(

Ben C.

Yelp
A family favorite for crepes while in Big Bear. Cafe Crepe is basically a shack where they take and prepare all the orders. There is no indoor seating. However there are a few tables behind the shack. Sometimes the line to order is very long, particularly during holiday weekends. We've learned to order online and they'll tell you when the order will be ready for pickup.

Natalie N.

Yelp
Had a ridiculous, maybe even comically bad experience here. First of all, my boyfriend and I were both unable to order the crepes we had originally wanted because they had run out of ingredients before noon. Additionally, the matcha latte we got was not mixed well and there were chunks of matcha powder at the bottom. And to top it off, I had an allergic reaction to something I ate, though nothing on their lists of ingredients was a known allergen for me. And the crepes were just alright.

Genevieve H.

Yelp
Once again a delicious and reliable experience at cafe crepe. Loved the gourmand and strawberry Nutella!

Emmie H.

Yelp
So delicious! Came back after coming last year and am still not disappointed. I tried both a sweet and savory crepe. The strawberry fields forever with chocolate was so rich and doesn't skimp on the strawberries. The other crepe, whose name I can't remember, had Brie, apples, honey, and prosciutto. It was delicious with a perfect balance of sweet and salty. I also had a specialty seasonal pumpkin chai -- loved the flavor combo. Wait is about 20 minutes and it's a roadside stand but there is cute seating and a place to eat there if you're willing to wait outside.

Anthony C.

Yelp
This crepe place is so amazing the crepes are amazing especially with Nutella and strawberries little place so cute can eat outside

Marissa W.

Yelp
Vegan options! Yay Friendly and patient staff Really beautiful outdoor seating area and nice to go packaging. I wish I lived closer!

Chelsea O.

Yelp
Wow! So delicious. Got the complete crepe and added garlic cream, and the jammin crepe with strawberry and black currant jam. And the oh la latte. We asked for the coffee less than half sweet and it still was on the sweeter side but it was tasty. Got our pup the dog meal. The pup meal was finished in .3 seconds and so was ours the savory crepe was so delicious. There is little tables and chairs outside.

Christina K.

Yelp
Quick service and really good crepes. The latte was great too and had a great rose taste and not overpowering.

J. M.

Yelp
My hubby and I are not heavy eaters in the morning. With that being said, while on vacation in Big Bear, we were looking for something small to snack on for breakfast! We saw Café Crêpe at the top of our Yelp search and figured we'd give it a try! We're so glad we stopped here - the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Wr ordered the deja vu and jammin' crêpes which were so yummy and filling enough! Besides their food, their lavender latte and iced matcha were the best we're ever had! The ambiance was quaint and perfect for pets as all the seating was outdoors! Speaking of pets, they also had a dog-friendly item on the menu which we ordered for our pup! Needless to say, she devoured her food! Next time you're in Big Bear, stop by and try it yourself! You will not be disappointed!

Matthew G.

Yelp
This place is so cute and yummy. We stopped by on our first day in Big Bear and was surprised by their menu. They have a lot of different flavors and custom lattes to pick from. The place smelt so good from the crepes and the locals that were sitting around, were very nice. The worker helped us pick some lattes which ended up being amazing! I got the grasshopper latte which is matcha latte with mint. This is the first time i've ever had a latte or coffee in general that had flavored whipped cream!! It was so good and the cream was so fluffy. It tasted like a Shamrock Shake from McDonalds (which i love)!!! We will be coming back for sure!

Victoria L.

Yelp
Overall the crepe was good, I appreciate the even level of distribution of all ingredients throughout the crepe although the crepe itself was very thick, I think if they can master this piece it will be perfect. Nice little stop, coffee was good.

Han J.

Yelp
After the 3 hour drive to Big Bear, nothing but Cafe Crepe could have possibly lifted our spirits more. My group got 2 hot chocolates, a Big Bear Fog, Peppermint Mocha, and Black Forest Cake. Everyone only had good things to say after polishing their beverages. We didn't end up ordering crepes because they let us know the wait time was 15-20 minutes and we only had time for a quick pit stop. There is a small parking lot, 1 outdoor picnic table, and you order from a window. They call out your name when your order is ready at the back of the shack. The guy who took our order seemed to be in such a good mood it was infectious! This will have to be a must-stop when I'm visiting Big Bear again.

John M.

Yelp
Café Crêpes! A crêpes life does not begin at ordering, but once the batter hits the flattop grill. It was a rainy day, so the atmosphere was perfect for a delicious, hot crêpe. We ordered a hot drip, an oat milk latte, a double smoked salmon with spinach and a crepes suzette. We waited about an hour and thirty minutes for the crepes, double the stated wait time. My wife began to grumble: "these better be the best crepes of my life." And after the lifespan and quick, yummy, death of our brunch-turned-lunch, I can confirm that in fact, they were. The staff is great. I watched the attention and care they placed. I think it didn't help that two people before our party seemed to have ordered a dozen or so crepes to go and there are only three skillets. I'm just saying, I can see how they can get backed up, so prepare to lounge or wait and it won't be too bad (we walked to the village and back). I hope they are successful enough to grow and get more crepe grills. I understand the wait, but double time is a bit over. I also love the outdoor aspect of this. Just grab a breakfast before you hit the slopes, cause it's outdoor seating, but still nice. The food was delicious and all worth the wait at the end of the day. I love a savory crepe and this was also my first crepe suzette. Food: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Experience: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 5/5 Good for: carbo loading. Pre-gaming your summit run. Recommends: Double Smoked Salmon with spinach, and the crêpes suzette Notes: there's a small parking lot, so if you're there on a cold day, you might want to wait in your car. Just know that you're in mountain time, so don't let the rush get to you, enjoy your break, and savor. Your patience will be rewarded.

Max M.

Yelp
We were very excited to try this place. The ambiance was nice. Lots of chairs and shade plus a few dogs for the kids to pet. We were very unimpressed with the food, though. For $15 each, I expected a little more. We got 3 crepes: strawberry chocolate, prosciutto with cheese, and salmon with cream cheese. The crepe was overcooked and hard. Very little meat filled the crepe. Caffè Crepe, more like Caffè Crap.

Arturo B.

Yelp
Good food. Service was meh. I ordered two items. I waited and only got one. Then they said they only rang me for one. I asked if I can order another one. They said I had to get back in line. No problem. However the line was 10 people long.

Chef Omar R.

Yelp
Came back again today for the Big Bear Fog with their in-house made Lavender Whipped Cream!! Every sip is so heavenly, and the whipped cream is absolutely amazing. A big thank you to Anthony for providing us with stellar customer service and making us feel so welcomed. He remembered all of our names!! Truly appreciate the hospitality we were given here in Big Bear, and make sure you stop by Café Crêpe for a signature breakfast, custom made coffee, and incredible service! I can't wait to come back!

Paresh D.

Yelp
Very busy becuz very good Don't call to order they take square and DoorDash for pickup

Caleb J.

Yelp
Crepe was alright nothing special Coffee was over extracted and too sweet for my liking And workers a bit rude‍

Yelp
Yummy crepes on a random road in Big Bear Lake! Why not!?!? If you're looking for a pit stop, check out Cafe Crepe. They have a wide assortment of crepes and warm beverages. All made to order so they come out fresh and hot. There was a long line of cars waiting in the drive thru so we decided to park in the small lot and sit to enjoy our crepes. Regretting I didn't order the lavender latte and add whipped creme to the crepes. Both would have totally elevated the dessert. If you're interested in savory, there are lots of choices with healthy options too.

Madelyn M.

Yelp
Cafe crepe was so amazing! I got the big bear fog latte (the purple drink) and it was good. The customer service was amazing and they were super friendly. Definitely recommend trying this place!
