"The hotly anticipated Cafe Dior finally opened in February and reservations are already impossible to get for the foreseeable future. That’s what happens when you bring the chef of a three-starred Michelin restaurant in San Francisco in to develop the menu. However, reviews from the various influencers invited have been lukewarm so far — not exactly what was expected. Will it remain hot? We’ll see, but for now, it’s the hottest ticket in town (for some people)." - Courtney E. Smith

The Cafe lived up to all my expectations. It's a lovely place. The service was impeccable. The food was beautiful and delicious. We had the afternoon tea service. It was a lovely sampler. They have about a dozen teas to choose from. My tea was a very nice herbal blend of mint lemon ginger. It was excellent. The chicken salad sandwich was the highlight of the savory round. It had a wonderful light flavor and the bread was really so nice. The chocolate hazelnut cookie was the hit of the sweets. This has been my favorite tea service in the Dallas area! We will definitely be back.

We had been wanting to come! We were not disappointed! The cake was delicious! I enjoyed my latte and my husband his cappuccino! Servers were attentive. We are excited to come back and try other food and drink options. We were lucky to get seated right away at the bar. Next time, we’ll make reservations.

This place deserves more than a quick review so here’s my full reflection. We had the Afternoon Tea and every detail—from the food to the ambiance—was handled with care and creativity. The staff were exceptionally attentive and engaged, making the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. Each bite from the three-tiered tray was thoughtfully crafted. The chicken salad sandwich was delicate and satisfying, the caviar & watercress choux had an elegant savory pop, and the salmon gravlax cracker delivered a smooth, briny richness. On the sweeter side, the hazelnut chocolate cookie had a perfect balance of nutty depth and crispness, the Piña Colada baba au rhum brought a boozy tropical warmth, and the banana & sesame canelé was soft and earthy with a caramelized edge. The standout was the Jasmine Glacé dessert—a chilled jasmine ice cream crowned with a geometric sugar lattice that looked like it belonged in a fashion exhibit. The floral aroma was light and refreshing, and the design mirrored the precision of Dior’s couture—both in flavor and form. The café itself is gorgeous: soft lighting, modern houndstooth chairs, and artistic details that echo the Dior brand without being overbearing. It’s elegant yet inviting, with a calming, relaxed vibe that made us want to linger longer. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a refined escape—whether you’re into fashion or just good food and thoughtful service.

I absolutely believe Cafe Dior deserves a 5 star! Yes, the price point is high, however that is the quality you are seeking when dining at a restaurant like this. The experience as a whole was fun and fancy, perfect for a girls day out! The foam design machine wasn’t working, otherwise my matcha would have been completed! Also, a bit grainy in texture. Otherwise, every food item was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Plus all the Dior details in the dining hall were so beautiful!

Luncheon at Café Dior by Dominique Crenn – A Symphony of Elegance & Flavor This afternoon, I had the distinct pleasure of dining at Café Dior by Dominique Crenn in Highland Park Village, and to say it was exquisite would be an understatement. Every bite was a testament to culinary artistry, each dish meticulously crafted with precision and finesse. From the moment one steps into Café Dior by Dominique Crenn, the atmosphere exudes sophistication and refined elegance. The décor is undeniably upscale—sleek, polished, and adorned with tasteful luxury. However, rather than embodying the ambiance of a traditional fine dining establishment, the space leans more toward an intimate lounge or upscale bar, where aesthetics take precedence over expansive dining accommodations. The restaurant itself is quite compact, yet the staff operates with impressive precision, offering impeccable attention to detail and a level of service that is both warm and highly professional. Their attentiveness enhances the experience, though certain aspects fall just shy of exceptional. As for the cuisine, the execution is undeniably excellent—each dish a thoughtful composition of flavors and textures. However, the portion sizes are modest, making it evident why the staff recommends that each guest order their own starter rather than sharing. While the quality is outstanding, diners with heartier appetites may find themselves longing for a more substantial offering. Overall, Café Dior delivers a refined and stylish dining experience, ideal for those seeking culinary artistry in an intimate, fashion-forward setting.

Amazing high tea experience!!! We truly enjoyed elegant interior decor, tea sets, and every little details. The pastries and sweet are delicious! My favorite was Canele with black sesame filling. The coffee art was beautiful! The lighting was great to take photos. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Outstanding service, elegant atmosphere, good food, weak tea, and pricey but it is a Dior experience! In my opinion of the six high tea items from the best to ok is salmon sushi, chicken sandwich, chocolate cookie, chocolate banana pastry, caviar puff, and lemon pastry. Beware that there is only one restroom for everyone while you are there. Also, the bathroom deserves a bit more attention.

The new Dior Café is a posh and stylish spot, and everything we ordered was delicious. The complimentary bread with the green butter was a surprising highlight—so good! Afternoon tea may look small at first glance, but it’s actually quite filling. I’d recommend skipping the pasta, though—you’ll barely see any when it arrives. Salmon was a great choice Service was friendly, but our waiter was clearly overwhelmed and got our bill wrong twice. Thankfully, he made up for it with a complimentary latte, which was a lovely touch. Overall, I’d definitely come back—great food and beautiful ambiance, just hope for a less hectic visit next time.
