"COVID-19 Update: Open daily for takeout and delivery. Everything on the menu is an affirmation, so if you can stifle the giggles at names like "I Am Connected"—which is actually an amazing zucchini cilantro hummus—you'll find that the vegan food here is delicious, even for those who normally refuse to go meat and dairy-free. There are picks for every sensibility, from coffee milkshakes (made with almond milk), to cashew cheese topped corn tacos to Indian curried lentils. There are three locations—Hancock Park, Venice, and the Arts District—and the Café Gratitude team also has a Mexican iteration in Hollywood called Gracias Madre. COVID-19 Disclaimer: We are working hard to keep our listings as up to date as possible (deliveries, outdoor dining, etc.), but given the evolving nature of local COVID-19 restrictions, we recommend double-checking the information in this guide with any business you plan on visiting. Also, please note that we have not vetted any businesses listed within our guides for their compliance with applicable safety regulations."

Food: 10/10 across the board Service: 10/10 floor manager even put down a screen to block the sun for us (qr code ordering. I'd love to see them outside of their covid adaptation) Atmosphere: 10/10 Great experience. So many items to choose from it was hard to pick. But did not have a bad choice. "I am pure" salad was marvelous and a table favorite "I am sharing" was fantastic. I highly recommend asking for tortilla chips and the ones provided were to die for

Bright location. Delicious vegan food with receptive staff that helped with choosing the food. Definitely good for the soul, body, and mind. Came back again and found hair in one of the dishes. The staff was really apologetic stating all the kitchen staff wears hair nets and were accommodating. update: came back again and it seems as though their food portions got smaller. Taste is still good, but for the price, was expecting a bit more food.

I have a Café Gratitude back in Kansas City, but it doesn't hold a candle to the one in the Arts District. This café was absolutely outstanding. Atmosphere, service, food, all five stars. We had a nice dinner and conversation here the night we arrived in Los Angeles. So much food was had as well! We grabbed the Margherita Pizza, the Calamari, and I got the local meal. It was all so far beyond my expectations. I kind of wanted dessert, but I knew I didn't have the room for it in me, anymore.

We loved everything about this wonderful café: healthy plant based nutrient-dense food and drinks (they have house made sprouted almond and coconut milks); cool ambience; possibility to customize your dishes; amazing staff (super professional and mega friendly). Definitely a great place for healthy food lovers!🌱😋

The creator behind this restaurant is methodical and well appreciated. Upon walking in the restaurant you are greeted with a welcome spirit and see quotes are seen around the walls. Our server had great recommendations. The menus were super cute and each dish had an affirmation as their name, which I loved. We had the I Am Thrilled (pumpkin spiced brioche french toast) which was super tasty and I Am Sharing (the nachos) which were well balanced and full of nutritious goodness. I got the Yo soy fuerte (the crunch wrap with side yams). The yams had too much rosemary for me. My friend had the I Am Glorious (blackened tempeh Cesar wrap) which is his favorite item on the menu. He had a side of fries, which were good. Overall, enjoyed this restaurant.

Good place for vegetarian options and conveniently located with validated parking in front of restaurant. Starts are overall good, I'd definitely recommend the Buffalo Cauliflower. Bowls are hearty and will fill you up. Family friendly environment with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. I'd recommend making reservations on the weekends especially for parties over four people.

Just got there waiting for our Air BnB in the complex and had a taste of the delicious ice cream and coffee. Say what you want about the names of the dishes, what you get is great ice cream and coffee in a nice ambience, probably the friendliest service staff I encountered in all of California and all of that at a fair price.
