This charming Downtown Brooklyn cafe offers a relaxing vibe and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding with friends and enjoying some decent coffee and treats.
"“Cafe Kitsune is the other place that I absolutely wear out for an interview. They do an awesome oat milk matcha latte which is basically the only reason I go. They also have baked goods. And last time I was there, they had a gluten-free something that felt Japanese-leaning. But there's this local collaboration—I don't know the baker, but it's someone nearby who bakes the stuff out of their kitchen and brings it. They have really, really friendly staff. It's always packed. There's always dogs out front. And it's such a cute spot too. They've got a bar space where they do DJ sets and stuff. A girl that I went to school with who also lives in New York, she spins there all the time. I don't even know how you get in. Like it's somehow super exclusive—like, exclusive. But I’m like, ‘When is it happening? Where is it? The coffee shop is closed. How do I get in?’”" - brennan carley
"Black and white cookie-inspired treats are becoming increasingly common, but most of the ones that aren’t actually black and white cookies kind of suck. Cafe Kitsune’s black and white latte, which is only available at their Brooklyn location, is a happy exception to this rule. " - carina finn koeppicus
"The Brooklyn outpost of this Japanese cafe, much like the West Village location, serves very good coffee in a chic setting. This is the kind of spot where you can put on an Outfit to grab coffee with a fashionable friend, which fills a nice niche in the neighborhood. They also have ample seating, outlets, tons of natural light, and fast WiFi. If you're looking for a place to get some work done in Brooklyn but want to feel like you're in a cafe somewhere abroad, this is your spot." - Carina Finn
"Charlotte is ordering lattes at Cafe Kitsuné to share with new friend Lisa Todd Wexley." - Madeleine Davies
"International all-day cafe and wine bar chain Cafe Kitsuné is headed to Boerum Hill for its second New York City location. The new spot will take over the building formerly occupied by Building on Bond, which closed last September after close to 13 years of business." - Luke Fortney
