Yelp
[Above all, will I be back?]
This was my first visit Cafe Lola and I wanted to like the newest location because I've been looking at their Instagram for a while, but it was so disappointing for the ambiance, price, food, service, basically everything. :( I don't think this location is not in line with other locations level considering their reviews. As a Vegas local, I will visit other locations instead of coming here. Sorry.
1. Food
Oh lord, the food was an absolute disappointment. The quality of food was subpar for the price. I could make this level of food at home (presentation, taste, freshness, etc).
- Spicy chicken Caesar sammy with potato chips($18.18)
The chicken didn't seem to be freshly made (tasted like cooked then heated up again) and a bit overcooked with some smell (you know the smell when the cooked chicken meat is sitting in the air or in the fridge long enough). The potato chips were greasy and so hard, which seemed to be old (sitting in the air long time, see my picture), Lay's would have been much better. I couldn't finish.
- Drink
Prosecco La Marca ($18).
I know it's at Caesar's hotel's Forum Shops so the Strip price can't be avoided but this is a cafe with a partial service, not a full serviced restaurant. I think it is a bit overboard. The champagne itself was served in a mini bottle so I know it is new and fresh. The taste was legit.
2. Ambience
If you like pink, you should visit this place! Girly girly & cute interior throughout.
But it is hard to take good photos. For example, this place has about 15-20 tables which were too close to each other. (Any angles you will see people in the background) Cafe Lola sign outside the cafe is way too high to take photos altogether (you gotta zoom out). There is a patio with about 10 tables but it is too dark (like after business hours) to enjoy cafe's theme (pink, bright and cute). 3 tables in front of the pretty green background with a neon sign are worth the photos.
3. Service
You pay at the cashier and they will serve you foods and drinks to your table. Our server(?) was very friendly but seemed to be new at this job as she was not fully aware of our orders and confused with other table several times.
4. Hygiene
The glasses, plates, the table and floor were clean. However, food crumbs and a hair were found on one of the chairs at our table. Iced water with a plastic cup is self-service at the water station. Napkins, straws, sugar, cup lids are also available there. Everything was clean, many items were individually warped.
5. Price
I think this location has a higher price point than other locations like Henderson or SW.
6. Location
It is in the Festival Court at Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace hotel. Between Aritzia and Guess, across from Sandro and Lululemon.
