My friend treated me to this restaurant for my birthday, and I was thoroughly pleased with both the service and the cuisine. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, which was creamy and rich in flavor. My friend enjoyed the soy sesame chicken, which she found equally satisfying. I look forward to returning whenever I’m in the area. Also our server was great.

Google
Best turkey sandwich I've had in a while. Nice thick cuts. Who would have thought I need feta, honey mustard, AND pesto at the same time, but I did. Great tea as well. Plus, the vibes were immaculate. Very community focused and in this day and age, we all need to stick together.

Google
The PERFECT midtown coffee breakfast spot. Super casual, great drink options, and a wide variety of food options. We ordered the turkey BLT, French toast, the Harrison, and dirty bird. Every one of us was highly satisfied! I spilt my tea and immediately Sierra brought me a new one and assured me it was totally okay. Great service, highly recommend!

Google
Great location and a sweet, accommodating server made my visit enjoyable overall. The food was good, though the presentation could use improvement. I was surprised to receive my coffee and food in to-go cups, but that may have been a communication issue on my end. The coffee was decent, but the cleanliness of the space was concerning. It looked like the floors hadn’t been swept or mopped in quite some time, and there was noticeable dust throughout. This is such a nice spot, so a little more attention to cleanliness could truly elevate the experience.

Google
Semi-hidden cafe in midtown near Piedmont park. It's on a "side street" and doesn't feel like part of the busier city area. They were only serving sandwiches when I went (bummer, was hoping to try the egg bowl!). The dark roast drip was very standard coffee, but the strawberry lemonade was really yummy. Reminded me to fresh-squeezed state fair lemonade. The Garden sandwich and the Classic sandwich were both a lot better than I expected them to be! The classic sandwich had a nicely baked, buttery croissant around a simply egg and cheese melt. The garden sandwich (largely due to the unique hummus blend) was very savory and the covering naan helped keep it together. Super recomend this cafe for the food over the drinks!

Google
We tried the sweet potato pancakes, hash browns, coffee, and ham croissant. The pancakes were delicious, but the hash browns were excessively salty and the croissant was burnt. The cafe has a charming atmosphere, but it was disappointingly dirty. We noticed bugs near the windows and had to clean our own table. The restroom was extremely dirty, with hairs in the sink, and the floors were sticky. Overall, the experience was mixed due to cleanliness issues.

Google
ALWAYS a great time. Food cooked to order with love. Outdoor seating perfect for your laptop or dog. Great coffee. I always get a turkey sandwich when I go! Great pesto. Good cocktails, mimosas, and beer choices. Live events and weekly happenings. Daily theme. Everyone loves the owner. Recently renovated! Has bar seating now as well. Great custom service!

Google
Lord have mercy this is the new "NY TASTE" spot for my bacon, egg and cheese. The customer service was beyond immaculate. The place is nice, and very friendly. but baby when I tell you, I' bit into the sandwich and it was just so good. Oh my gosh, you have to get the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant.

Yelp
No nonsense local coffee place with a decent breakfast and lunch list Skip the hype of influencers favorites spots in atl and go here instead

Yelp
I love it here, you can't rip me away! For me to love a coffee shop, it has to be lowkey, casual, plenty of seating, and has to also have a full menu, and I need there to be a general culture of minding your business. Luckily for me, we have Cafe Lucia. This location is conveniently next to Piedmont Park for when you're trying to have one of your mysterious, aesthetic Saturdays (yall know what I'm talking about,) and take your little walk after you grab your latte and send 2 emails. I can't answer about the parking; I imagine it's a nightmare. But this is usually one stop of many for me so it doesn't matter. There is always plenty seating and all of the food is good. Sometimes there is a wait for food but you will be okay, trust me. It's a very relaxing environment, especially if you're someone who doesn't know anything about coffee; it's not stuck up like the others. But if you need help: if they've written in a latte menu on the board next to the register, get one of those!

Yelp
This place is a neighborhood spot that has nice food and kind servers. We had croissant egg sandwiches that were delicious and really good coffee. It's a nice place to work because the music is not too loud. Could use a little makeover but I recommend it and would go again.

Yelp
We finally made it to Cafe Lucia for a little breakfast sandwich moment. For a Saturday afternoon, there were a good number of people sitting both inside and outside. There was no wait to order and we placed ours to-go to sit in the park. We ordered the Harrison and the Bigwhich. We ended up waiting around 20 minutes for our food which just seemed like so long for the cafe vibes they're giving off. Maybe I just expected it to take less than 10 minutes is all. We both really really enjoyed the sandwiches we received. The Bigwhich was sooo full of meat and an extremely great deal. I can see them charging a few more bucks for it tbh. I really enjoyed the Harrison and found it to be a great amount of food that just hit the spot. Is it going to be the most amazing sandwich ever and aesthetic? Nah, but it rather gives NYC breakfast bodega quality. We'll definitely be back and expect to wait around longer

Yelp
Quaint little place. Quite reasonably priced. Food was delicious - very healthy! Coffee was solid! Be patient though - takes 20 minutes for food to arrive. Namaste!

Yelp
Great coffee shop in Midtown right by Piedmont Park! I got the peach and vanilla latte which was pretty good. I am normally not a big fan of local coffee - I just dont like the taste of a lot of them. This one was not bad tho and it was just sweet enough! The barista was really nice and the service was fast. They seem to have a pretty extensive food menu too and the prices arent bad. They also have skim milk!! My main gripe with local coffee is that they never have skim

Yelp
I stopped in here for a late breakfast on a Friday morning. You order at the counter and then find a seat. For a drink, i ordered the honey bee iced latte. They put real honey in it, and you could see it built up at the bottom. For food I ordered the dirty bird croissant sandwich. Everything was decent.

Yelp
Eh. I was excited to finally try Cafe Lucia on Saturday, but was mildly disappointed. I got an iced coffee and the sausage cakes. The employee that took my order didn't know about the latter menu item and laughed at me, asking if I meant something else. I said yes out of embarrassment until they realized it was an item on the menu. Service took a really, really long time although it was friendly. The iced coffee was rough. It tasted like old diner coffee over ice, and I couldn't finish it. The pancakes were alright, but not really worth the price or calories IMO. I did like the vibes here; felt very 90s coffee shop vibes. Four stars for that ambience, three for service, two for food. Eh.

Andrea W.

Yelp
We like the food here, however we have tried to order takeout for the past few weekends and no one will answer the phone. Its inconvenient t to have to find parking, go inside and then wait with everyone else for takeout. We're sad we couldn't get the food, but that's just too much effort.

Yelp
I got an iced Caribbean latte with oat milk. It was really sweet. I don't see it on the menu on the website or their Instagram and I don't remember everything that was in it. The place is close to piedmont park, so it's nice for grabbing a drink before you go to the park. There are a few outdoor spots, but the inside isn't especially cute to hang out in.

Alexander P.

Yelp
The dirty bird with turkey bacon on a croissant is the best breakfast sandwich in midtown. Very tasty. Very consistent.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute spot in downtown for coffee or breakfast. My friend and stopped by after class to get some work done. The girl working was very nice and helpful with recommendations. I got an iced white mocha latte with oatmilk and it was amazing. My friend got an iced coconut matcha with oatmilk and he said it was delish. The drinks were very resonably priced aswell! Great place to sit and get some work done or just get a cute drink:)

Yelp
Great food! Cozy place! I ordered "The Reg". Street Parking is available!! I also went to their second location downtown.

Ethan R.

Yelp
Great staff - hard working and friendly but too few off them. It took a very long time to get our drinks and even longer for the food. The food seemed well prepared and I liked the ingredients- it was bland though which seemed odd based on the diverse ingredients I would not return though.

Yelp
This is such a cute little corner coffee shop. If I lived in Atlanta, I would be coming here every morning. The menu is written on this huge chalkboard on the wall. There was an extensive menu of all the sandwiches, coffees and food that the place had to offer. It has such a comforting and inviting vibe to it! By recommendation of the owner, I got the lavender latte because I don't like things too sweet. One sip later, and I was hooked. You can smell and taste the lavender, and yet it wasn't too artificial tasting. Strongly recommend if you're looking for a cute hole in the wall coffee shop

M S.

Yelp
The location is great, and the staff member working was very attentive when we walked in to order. However, the place was super dirty and cluttered, with paper scraps on the floor, a messy bathroom with overflowing trash, two overflowing dirty dish boxes, and half empty bottles and glasses all over the bar counter. While I received great service while ordering, the staff member went back to her phone right away sitting in the cafe, which doesn't help the above issues. From earlier reviews, the cleanliness and staffing seems to be a problem. They also didn't have one of their drinks that was on the seasonal menu, and the price felt too high for the quality of my drinks. There's a lot of potential here, but some changes need to be made. I hope they can turn it around!

Yelp
Cute little low key spot for coffee or a quick breakfast/lunch bite. Despite the bad reviews we enjoyed our order and it came out quickly. Interesting vibe on a Sunday as there's some drinking (full bar) and others doing work in surround tables/couch. Something for everyone I guess! Honeybee latte was a little tooo sweet for me but my husband found it delcious. Americano was decent as well. We had the garden veggie sandwich on naan which was also yummy, but had raw onions and peppers which wasn't what we expected but still good! Just a few mins walk from the park so will keep it in mind for lazy weekend days!
google avatar

Andrew K.

Yelp
Sat down for a quick breakfast while staying in midtown. Not sure about others complaints as my food came out immediately as did my cappuccino. Highly recommend the garden breakfast sandwich. The grilled onions and veggie plus feta and egg and hummus on that home made naan was to die for. Had the opportunity to chat with the owner David and some of the staff and everyone was very cheerful and pleasant.

Yelp
Stumbled across this gem in Atlanta. Only regret was finding it the day I was leaving town. Great food, serves alcohol, and amazing staff. Highly recommend if you need a breakfast/lunch spot in midtown. Not pictured are the mimosa and Bloody Mary we had with breakfast. Definitely missing out if you've never been here.

Yelp
Love this place but it takes patience for your food. I hate waiting so I don't come here very often but the food is GREAT. Nice library area as well. Perfect for winter time too.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was amazing!! The food was great and the service was impeccable!! It really is reminiscent of a quaint cafe! I ordered a veggie omelette and Honeybee Latte with Almond milk and they both were delicious!! I love that they sautéed the veggies first. They also have a lot of meatless options for use vegetarians. They have an incredible tea and coffee selection and serve pastries and muffins, croissants, and bagels too! I'm a huge fan and will definitely be back! Oh and it's owned by a black woman which is the cherry on top!!!

Yelp
I can't speak to the food, but the lattes and the vibes are fantastic. Located next to Piedmont House apartments and just a block away from Piedmont Park, this is the perfect little cafe for a morning stroll (or evening drink, since they have a full bar!) There's plenty of seating indoors, with spots to work or play board games, our outdoors on the patio. Service was quick and kind I ordered a medium lavender oat milk latte (so delicious!), which came out to $5.65. For context, this is about $0.30 less expensive than a comparable Starbucks latte and you're supporting a local business. You can tell their coffee is brewed with loved, too. Really flavorful! Can't wait to come back and try their espresso martini!
google avatar

Laurel S.

Yelp
Cafe Lucia was close to our hotel The Starling. I prefer a local latte over Starbucks. They had several specialty lattes and I tried the Wolfsbane: blackberry, lavender, mocha. It may seem like an odd combo but it was delicious! I also tried The Reg which is a basic bacon, egg, and cheese on a pressed buttery croissant. Very good and hit the spot!
google avatar

Helmut D.

Yelp
Terribly unclean, bathrooms and trash everywhere, dishes in heaps, slow service was talking instead of serving customers the competition across the street may win
google avatar

Yelp
Simple and informal coffee shop and bar. Parking was tricky, but I love coffee shops that are open later past 4pm! I had the black iced coffee, The Harrison sandwich, and blackberry lemonade. All were solid, wouldn't consider them anything extraordinary. The sandwich bacon was on the chewy side, I would prefer some crisp to contrast the crossiant, but the sauce was really good! I asked about their cocktail/mocktail options... nothing really formally listed, but we could wing it by looking at the shelves. After an hour or so, I went back to the counter to order more, but unfortunately, the credit card machine was down and they had no no change to break a $20... seems like poor planning by the owner. The single employee (waitress + cashier + bartender) was great! My parking was by the hour, so just ended up leaving earlier than originally intended. Overall, internet worked well with plenty of outlets, so seems like a good spot to study or work from. The waitress took care of us! I just think ownership needs to polish up some elements (like many places) to stand out! I intend to visit again!

Areleesia B.

Yelp
Waited over 40 mins for one sandwich and ended up having to get a refund after being told there were 3 people in the kitchen. If 3 people are working in the kitchen I shouldn't have to wait 40 mins for 1 sandwich.
google avatar

Tasha W.

Yelp
Horrible customer service , short staff . I came here for a coffee and a croissant and called ahead but no answer . When I arrived she said my food would take 20 min . It took 50 min for a croissant. I'll never Be back. I would have gone else where if she communicated the right time. It's a def a local place and doesn't seem to be the cleanest . I don't think it's the chefs fault but definitely under staffed and no accountability or apology
google avatar

Jonah B.

Yelp
Love this little cafe! There's also a full bar inside and sandwiches/snacks. I came here to do some interview prep with a small group of friends it was the perfect setting. I would visit again in a heartbeat!

Yelp
Met up with a client for a business meeting at Café Lucia Midtown. First time dining here and over all it was a pretty good experience. I ended up ordering a ice chai latte and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich, while my client ordered a regular office and and muffin. Our drinks were made quickly but the food did take a minute. They do give the disclaimer that it may take a while because they focus on quality over quantity, but trust me when I say it's worth the wait because the food was delicious! If you're looking for a nice spot to give a fresh cup of coffee and just relax, this is the place for you. And if you're trying to get coffee on the go, just order ahead. It'll save you a lot of time!

Isabel A.

Yelp
Slow service and a disappointing iced chai latte-- basically sugary milk without any chai flavor.

Keely N.

Yelp
I came into cafe Lucia today for lunch. The interim manager told me the kitchen was closed even as I saw other customers eating or with sandwiches sitting at their tables. He expressed they were short staff so I assumed that most of the staff must have left and so I ordered a coffee. However as I was sitting at the table studying another customer came to the counter and tried to order a sandwich. The manager proceeded to make a sandwich for that customer. I am disappointed in this type of treatment and I hope that in the future this won't happen.
google avatar

Griffin C.

Yelp
Breakfast Sandwich was good. Service was good. Ambiance was good. Cafe Lucia was good.
google avatar

Suzie A.

Yelp
This is the worse coffee shop I have ever been to. The place was nasty, the coffee was burnt and awful and we waited over an hour for three sandwiches that never came out. Asked for a refund and the register couldn't even load so even the refund took about 15 minutes on top of the hour we waited. Small businesses are so important and I so wished the experience would have been different but please do yourself a favor and patronize a different small business.

Yelp
Absolute Must Visit! Walked over from hotel 2 blocks away not knowing what to expect. What a treat! Phenomenal staff, great service and the expresso, perfect. I had "The Garden" which is an egg sandwich on Naan bread with lettuce, tomato, hummus, pepper, onion and Feta...should be called "The Garden of Eden" because it was so fresh and great! The Feta just took this sandwich over the top. Stop by Cafe Lucia, you will be happy you did.
google avatar

Elizabeth V.

Yelp
Walking into Cafe Lucia is like walking into the living room of a new friend, especially if that new friend brews up a phenomenally good cup of coffee. I met a new friend for coffee at Cafe Lucia and was immediately drawn into the banter of the proprietor (I believe) and some of the regular customers. I didn't order any food on this trip, but next time I'm in town I am DEFINITELY trying the French Toast. It looked taaaaaaaasty! The Chai Latte I had on this go around, however, was spicy, milky deliciousness and I am not regretting it one bit! Thanks for the warm welcome, Cafe Lucia!
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
Great quaint little coffee shop with yummy coffee and BEAUTIFUL seating arrangements (outdoor pictured). It took a little while for us to actually be served/noticed & the barista was on the phone, but she was kind & the drinks were delicious so it evens out. Definitely would recommend! * I personally got a large breve with vanilla, banana, & white chocolate. It was SO yummy!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing!! Great customer services. Definitely a more than 5 star place!! Good super delicious, amazing coffee and highly recommended their mimosas!! Great vibes and positive energy on this place!

Jeannie P.

Yelp
My husband got the honeybee latte (honey, hazelnut, vanilla, cinnamon). It just tasted sweet. We couldn't really taste the flavors. I got the lavender latte with oat milk. It was good. I could really taste the flavor. We ordered sandwiches and it took 20-30 minutes. They called out my name ("Jeannie") and someone else took our order. I had to awkwardly take my food off of his table; while asking if his name was "Jeannie" like written on the receipt... His name was Harrison... like the sandwich... I get that they are busy but I saw them bring food to other people's table but they left ours in the pick up area for someone else to grab... Husband got the Bigwhich. I thought it would be too heavy but it wasn't. It was delicious. I got the Harrison. I asked for the honey mustard mayo to be on the side. I don't like mustard but wanted to see if it would have been fine. It wasn't on the side and I didnt like it. And worst of all, it was burnt (reference the photo). We waited 30 minutes to get our sandwiches which made us late to our next destination. So I didn't have another 30 minutes to wait on a sandwich. They also forgot that we ordered the cinnamon bun. So we had to wait another 10 minutes for that. It was not worth it. The icing was good but that's it. There was plenty of seating which was nice. Overall, our experience ok but disappointing. We would go again just for the lattes. They are fairly priced. Takeaways: -Lavendar latte is good -if we visit again, only getting lattes -Bigwhich is good -Expect a 20-30 minute wait on a sandwich. (Hopefully they don't always burn it- that was highly disappointing. I also had an upset stomach all day after this meal... Ruined our visit to the High Museum on Educator's Day)

Yelp
Food was great. Owner was really nice and friendly! Food for two came out little by little over like 20 minutes which was kinda annoying but it was good!
google avatar

Scout M.

Yelp
Cafe Lucia was a great spot for a quick coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich. It was so welcoming and inviting.

A M.

Yelp
I really like the casual vibe of this place but it's way overpriced. For the price I paid for a tiny glass of wine I could go to a fancy place and get wine served in a goblet. Five dollar cans of Death Water from Switzerland. Thats what I get for being in mid- town !!!
google avatar

Nicole O.

Yelp
If you want an omelette with undercooked bacon, raw veggies and the slightest hint of cheese, then this is your spot. Or maybe a cold latte that only tastes like milk is more your speed. Perhaps you want a server to slam a bowl of moldy fruit on your table after you remind them you didn't get your side of fruit (and even though the menu says omelettes come with fruit and toast, that is apparently not true). All of that and so much more overpriced, underwhelming quality is available here.
google avatar

Robleh I.

Yelp
Great place in midtown for a nice coffee, breakfast, or lunch sandwich. Definitely my go to in the neighborhood when I want quick, quality breakfast food. Everything I tried so far is really good, not very expensive either which can be hard to find, especially in midtown. Great for catching up with a friend, very quiet, and they have just enough seating :)
google avatar

Patrick A.

Yelp
Unfortunately did not have a great experience at this cafe and would not recommend. The menu was not clear, no prices were stated and worst of all the person taking our order was very rude to both of us and other customers as well. Also checking her phone while people were in the middle of ordering. We ultimately got 2 coffees and 2 muffins, which were fine, but not worth the whole experience.
google avatar

Nikki N.

Yelp
This is your typical cafe. It's definitely popular amongst the locals. The pricing is very up to par with your Starbucks coffee chain, however the quality of coffee at Cafe Lucia is wayyyyyyyyy better IMO. Staff is friendly but please note you may be waiting at least 20-30 minutes in line/receiving your order.

Dom W.

Yelp
Came here visiting from out of town. Food took an exceptionally long time to come out. I had ordered a side of fruit and it did not come out with the rest of my meal. Told the server this and he came back and dropped (yes dropped) the bowl of fruit onto the table and walked away. Acted like I did something wrong by asking for what I paid for. On top of that fruit had mold on it. Don't go here.
google avatar

Muriah N.

Yelp
This cafe is adorable, and has so many unique aspects! The menu is a sort of "build your own" style for breakfast sandwiches, omelettes and salads, plus it offers several sandwich options. It also has a great coffee/tea menu, a full bar, specialty cocktails, and take-away drinks. They also just started offering paint and sip classes, and they have hookah on weekend evenings! Throw in $1 Jell-O shots, and this place has a little something for everyone
google avatar

Edvin M.

Yelp
Plenty of seating indoors and outdoor. I came for breakfast and they had various options of breakfast sandwiches and a few entrees and even a hashbrown bowl. I noticed they had a lunch menu too with sandwiches, soups, and salads. I ended up having the Classic Breakfast Sandwich and it was delicious. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture l, it was that good. Coffee was good too and I'd definitely return here when in the area.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
I live right next door but don't go after a three bad experiences unfortunately. The food is "okay" at best but takes forever to make. This includes if you're just ordering a coffee or espresso. A lot of times they are out of items. I really wish they would improve.
