The 12 Best Breakfast Spots In Denver - Denver - The Infatuation

"Don’t ask why Café Miriam serves their bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwiches with a side of yet another croissant (albeit mini and honey drizzled). Instead, just be grateful. Also be grateful for the well-priced espresso drinks and menu of sweet and savory crepes, all of which are best enjoyed at one of the tiny French café-style tables outside. You’ll feel like you’re on a quaint Parisian corner—at least until the Tesla Cybertrucks start jockeying for City Park parking spots and quash your carefree French vibe." - allyson reedy

The Best Breakfasts in Denver | Eater Denver

"This charming little (very little) French-inspired cafe at the edge of City Park is known for crepes both savory and sweet. The Royale with Cheese features prosciutto, Brie, fig spread, and balsamic glaze, for instance, while the Dulce de Leche combines its namesake ingredient with Nutella, caramel, and French vanilla ice cream. Pastries, croissant sandwiches, and a full espresso bar await both here and at the larger branch in Uptown." - Ruth Tobias

I went here with a few family members for brunch, and never before in my life has food brought tears to my eyes from how good it was. I personally reccomend the Pommes Crepe, but I'm sure anything here would taste amazing. This cafe also has an amazing atmosphere in my opinion. We will absolutely be coming here again!! :D

I had such a wonderful experience at this location. The staff and owner are exceptional. So much character and good vibes at the cafe! The coffee and food was also delish. I’ll be back.

Very good food- croissant sandwich with potatoes on the side. All parts were great. They struck a nice balance on the potatoes, having bite to them without being under-done. Staff was very kind and helpful. Nice location, cool place, calm corner café vibe.

This cafe was great. The owner and staff make you feel very welcome. We loved our time connecting with new friends in Denver. I would highly recommend this cafe. With a casual indoor dining area and an outdoor seating area, it makes it a wonderful addition to the uptown neighborhood.

Absolutely loved Café Miriam! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an absolutely stunning and kind lady at the front desk her warmth set the tone for the whole visit. I ordered the egg croissant with a side of potatoes, and wow… absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This café has such a cozy, welcoming vibe — highly recommended to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot and friendly service.

I walked into Café Miriam at 1:43 knowing that their closing time was 2, ready to sheepishly ask if I might still be able to order takeout. The man behind the counter greeted me with gusto and said, “Here you are! We’ve been here waiting for you!” I asked if they were still seating for lunch and he said, “1:43, of course we are still seating for lunch. Take all the time you want. How has your day been? Not too stressful?” I told him it had been a good day and he said, “To make it even brighter I’m going to give you a Nutella crepe for free.” Then he instructed the waitress to make it with strawberries and bananas, too. I was overwhelmed by all this warmth and generosity, and he just brushed it off, saying, “I want to do this nice thing for you. You just find someone to do something nice for, and keep it going.” So you should definitely make haste and go bring yourself to the amazing hospitality of Café Miriam. Incidentally, both the Nutella crepe and the caprese crepe that I bought were excellent. So you won’t be disappointed by the food. But the main reason to go is to bring yourself within the aura of this most gracious host. I rarely write reviews, but this generosity needed to be acknowledged.

My friends and I came here for brunch recently. It was the first thing we did when we landed in Denver and it was probably the best decision we could have made. We went to the city park location first and thought we’d have to take our food to go because we were a big party of 9. However, the owner Touhami was incredibly generous and accommodating. He directed us to this newer and more spacious location on Lafayette and called the servers here to make sure we got all our drinks on the house. The ambiance was beautiful and so pleasant, the food was very nice, the service was very good. And then Touhami came to this location and chatted with us for a while to make sure we were satisfied with everything. After hearing that we were visiting for the first time, he proceeded to give us a short list of recommendations on things to see and places to eat in Colorado. Wonderful experience overall, food and hospitality was great, highly recommend.

Google
10/10 experience. Staff was super friendly and food and drinks were bomb. Great ambiance on the little outdoor patio as well. In a great location near some walkable shops! Highlight was Nutella strawberry banana crepe!

Yelp
It's in a cute, historic home! Great place for breakfast and/or lunch. Might I suggest the Royale crepe with cheese and prosciutto?! So so good. Potatoes were only ok so I'd suggest the mixed greens to pair with this crepe. Excellent espresso drinks as well. Friendly servers with great food- what more could you ask for! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a sweet place Feels like going to a niche French cafe off the beaten path in Denver. Service is positive and friendly. Coffees rock too.

Yelp
Cafe Miriam is an outstanding Denver institution. I personally prefer the location on City Park, because it has the benefit of being on City Park, and arguably has the best view of the park since you are looking right into the tree lined entrance gate. However, I love 17th street, and you're getting the same great quality. Servers are great, food is great, and you've got all the other great 17th street businesses nearby you can visit.

Yelp
I saw many rave reviews for Café Miriam, so I wanted to try it out. There are two locations for this French Moroccan café, and the Uptown location had a welcoming environment in a quaint two-story home. There was seating on both levels as well as on the patio. Order at the counter, and the delicious dishes and drinks will be brought to your table. Café Miriam offers both savory and sweet crêpes and sandwiches. The Royale with Cheese was delish! A perfect crêpe was the vessel for prosciutto, brie, Lebanese fig spread, and a balsamic fig glaze. My mouth was watering from the aroma before I could cut into it. I paired mine with the green salad, a perfect blend with a hint of Dijon in the dressing. Colorful artwork adorned the walls by artist Andrew Woodward of Fifty State Animal Mascots. These were available to purchase. (Yes, I bought the one representing my home state!) This family-owned café will be added to my regular rotation!

Love the cute little house; very warm and welcoming. You can sit outside or inside! The service is soooo great and always checking in you. Great assortment of drinks, hot and cold. The food is freshly prepared! Excellent choice for breakfast and brunch. Close at 2pm.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Staff was overly friendly and the workers were very attentive. Love the location in an old victorian house along 17th restaurants row. Fabulous outdoor patio. Heard at the table over from a New Yorker the prices are so low compared to NYC.

Yelp
Overpriced food and not so good food. Service was okay not special, ambiance was okay. Three stars was what they deserved
