"This Japanese bakery and cafe inside Momonoki is the croissant king of Atlanta, with an unmatched selection of cream-filled, circular-shaped, or classic multilayered beauties. There’s a banoffee cream croissant with a banana-toffee cream that doesn't go too heavy on the banana flavor, and we appreciate that. And Momo's rotating menu constantly keeps things interesting, with flavors like sweet matcha or (our favorite) savory onion, gruyere, and rosemary combo. We also like their tasty matcha lattes and sugary mochi donuts. Once you have your haul in hand, there’s a bit of seating upstairs in a small alcove that overlooks diners slurping ramen below. " - juli horsford

Lunch is a variety of items....don't be fooled the large trays will cost around $14 or more...use caution!

Google
It's a self-serve buffet, don't expect stellar service or custom orders! Someone keeps placing this business in the corner of the building where the Hard Rock Cafe is. Don't go there! It's actually 3/4 block west. Enter the building at the Marta entrance under Peachtree Plaza & you'll run right into the food court. Momo will be on your left.

Overrated. Croissant should have been fresh much crispier. Cafe Latte was not that great as well.

Google
I tried little bits of different items & can't say anything was good. The shells were in a very processed cheese sauce. Chicken livers were dry & not hot at all. Broccoli, zucchini & carrot mix was barely warm. The sushi - not even sure what the brown "meat" or fish was in one of the 4 pieces I took and another piece tasted off enough I spit it out as I have to fly internationally in two days & can't be sick or it will cost me over a $1K. I did tell the manager or whoever it was who came out to talk & I actually tried to go with his idea of trying something different. I trued bbq thighs since it's a very moist piece. Or should be. But again, this was drying. Sauce cannot help meat that is drying out. The white cheese ravioli was super bland. It had to be a jar sauce. And bland. Ugh. I feel like I just wasted almost $12. He said the food on the top of the pan can get cooled off. Well, the veggies were right on the bottom of the pan. I just know that the restaurant inspectors care that all food is within a range. Meat cannot sit cooling off. "Atmosphere" - lol this is a place in a food court without ambiance. Service - the guy who spoke to me was very nice, which is the only reason I didn't ask for my money back. I really appreciate a good, kind customer service. Thanks, guy. 🙂

Google
This place is great for a quick bite to eat. The staff is all very friendly. But it is a little hard to find if you don't know where it is in the building. It would probably easier if you just searched for The Hub food court, but the best way if you are driving is to park in the 221 Peachtree center parking garage. On the third floor there is a door that leads to the skywalk. The skywalk takes you directly into The Hub food court. Cafe Momo is straight about 100 yards on the right. If you're walking in, there is a set of stairs on Peachtree center avenue that leads up to The Hub food court.

Google
This is the address of the Hard Rock Cafè. Where's Café MoMo? Edit: I later found Cafe MoMo, it's at the underground level at "The Hub". Bldg 235

Ate breakfast here my first day living in Atlanta and felt very sick for the rest of the day. Never coming back, but at least the staff was kind!

Google
I liked it. Fried chicken was tender and juicy, outside was golden crispy. Hot line had different kinds of choices and salad bar had lots of choices as well. I liked it. Good for when you're hungry and need a quick meal. Staff was nice and courteous. Being from Hawaii, I'm used to paying a little more at a price per lb type place and their prices are not bad at all. **2nd visit: Went for breakfast this morning and wow! It was super busy, with a lot of breakfast choices and fresh fruit. Highly recommend this place especially if you're staying in the Hyatt or near downtown Peachtree.

Reen K.

Yelp
I added quite a few photos on here. You can view as well. This was my first time at this cafe, and I'm glad I did stop in. I have an appointment for my passport, so I came here to eat breakfast. It's a lot of choices, but I love grits so that was what I ate. :-) I ordered home potatoes, grits, eggs and one sausage. My husband had fruit, corn beef hash, grits and some other items. The food was hot and delicious. Our food was pricey, because my husband had quite a few breakfast items. It's $9.49 a pound. That's a lot, if you're on a budget. But, besides that the employees are nice, and restaurant is clean and everything is fresh. If we're in the area, we may visit again.

Yelp
Food is authentic, unpretentious relaxing ambiance and happy staffs who love what they do . Wish for more of this in cities across the world ..

Donald S.

Yelp
I had never eaten here when I started a new job in an office above the food court 3 years ago. Since then, I've eaten here at least 2 and sometimes 3 or 4 times a week for lunch. While it is set up as an unpretentious cafeteria, the food is consistently excellent and sometimes remarkable! There's always a wide selection of foods with sauteed and steamed fresh vegetables - always hard to find - available every single day. I think the sushi entrees are the least appealing as it's hard to do sushi in a cafeteria setting. But all of the cooked foods are absolutely delicious and very affordable. There's no reason you can't get a varied, healthy, and tasty breakfast or lunch for about $10. I wish these kinds of places could be found all over...if so I would seldom cook at home!

Rebekah R.

Yelp
Quick way to grab abs go breakfast or lunch. Be prepared to pay by the punch but the variety is great

Paul D.

Yelp
Great food. Looking for help with lost receipt around 12:25 9/11. Who would I contact? No one is picking up phone.

Dennis Q.

Yelp
Haven't been here in years since pre-Covid. I had to go in the office the other day and decided to try it out again. Food was good as usual. I'm glad they're still in business considering that so many people are working remote. Used to be so busy during lunch pre-Covid.

Christopher T.

Yelp
This place is NOT 'permanently closed,' its def open Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM with a post-pandemic facelift to match... The sausage sushi is still my favorite and go-to when I need something to hold me over, you can 7 - 8 pieces for around $5.

Cassia L.

Yelp
Amazing cafe. Delicious coffee and great service. Will be returning! The restaurant is delicious too. Try the sandwiches and ramen.

Jeenee Y.

Yelp
Buffet styled and only at $9 per lbs! *** Breakfast time is the BEST time!!! *** Easy picks from American to Asian NOT BAD ALL. Only thing I will stay away from will be rolls (not tasteful at all)

Andrea M.

Yelp
If you head down the escalators and straight thru the corridor of restaurants, Café Memo will be to your left. It's a small buffet/grab and go establishment so there wasn't much of a wait. The con side to this place is that some of the foods may be dry since it sits under heat lamps. And with mass production of food to supply hungry bellies, seasoning and quality won't be at the top of their list. Some of the items I enjoyed were the seasoned potato chunks sauté with onions. The salmon patty was my fav. The other odd bits of foods we sampled were just okay. And you pay by the weight so you're in control of how much you pay. The set price was around $5 for breakfast.

Wendy H.

Yelp
I was looking for a quick place for lunch. Cafe MoMo is located in the mall, The Hub. It's a typical salad bar with food sold by the pound. I filled my box 1/4 full and it cost me over $8. The food was sort of meh an greasy. Surprisingly a lot of people come here for lunch. It's a no for me.

Jamie G.

Yelp
Pros: This place has healthy home style offerings, with self service cafeteria style hot and cold tables. They also have a grill station that makes cooked to order sandwiches and other favorites. Cons: They should encourage guests to sanitize their hands before self serving, and the serving utensils on the buffet should be changed out hourly. They were out out ice, and iced tea without ice is kinda gross. People: Good Process: Good Product: Good Quality: Good Quantity: Good Value: Fair Cleanliness: Good Ambience: Good Timing: Good Attention To Detail: Fair

Oby O.

Yelp
Food is average but the place is bustling. That might be because they have a wide variety of meals to pick from and you can mix and match as you please. However the pricing by pound is deceptive. You pay much more than other eating outlets for much less portion size. I'm not sure it's worth the price given the wide range of options available

Chelsea A.

Yelp
Great place in a central location. i came here with my friend to grab breakfast. Definitely enjoyed the french toast and eggs and fruit. My friend got eggs, bacon, hash browns and a bunch of other things...both of us really enjoyed our food. You pay by weight and its buffet style. Perfect place to knock out everyones needs at once.

Tommy H.

Yelp
EXPERT cooks . Every time I visit this place I'm never disappointed. The food is grade A DELICIOUS - AND THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE by the pound.11/7/2018

Mo B.

Yelp
Solid breakfast buffet! Paid by the pound, fresh fruit and its right inside if the peachtree station! Lots of egg options

Sasha O.

Yelp
This place is always a safe bet. $9/pound and I've never had anything I didn't like. They always have a few different types of sushi rolls and a really fresh salad bar. It's great to just get the things you are actually going to eat. The employees strive to keep the buffet fresh and clean.

EJ P.

Yelp
Nice spot to stop by for quick lunch. Probably the freshest food you can get in the area and best for price in my honest opinion. I see a few people complaining about there being no plate refills (its not a buffet in the first place) and being in a hard to find location but honestly the food makes up for it, and its buffet-styled meaning you can choose what you want, a la carte. Definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a quick fill with healthy and organic food options.

Angela M.

Yelp
Great eats & totally worth the $!! Cafe Momo is a buffet with such a wonderful variety of food that doesn't leave me unsatisfied. It's clean, which is something many buffets lack as well. Would def come again!

Regina W.

Yelp
Many options for all types of diets and everything tasted great! Would recommend this for a quick lunch or dinner to anyone in the area.

Kiko H.

Yelp
It is in the office building that belonged to a food court . It has variety of food selections , decent but the fish was too dry . Good to go place

Jahyung L.

Yelp
GreaT place to grab a bite and plenty of healthy options! The cashier was really friendly and the ambience was good as well:))

Mel Y.

Yelp
A good variety of everything you could ever want for your meal, I have a hard time choosing because there are so many options, but it's good because I can keep coming back without getting tired of the food. Friendly staff, and my go to spot! Surprised by the negative reviews, but I've never found the food here to be greasy, it's just the way that these cultural dishes are cooked so I think it's unfair to ask a restaurant to change the tradition of a recipe to fit their preferences.

Aj P.

Yelp
I was so excited to find chicken sausage was offered on the breakfast buffet. That excitement turned to disgust as I cut into (thank GAWD I did that) the sausage. It was pink in the middle. No foul, stuff happens right? Sooooo I took it back to make the cook aware of the under cooked salmonella ridden sausage, he tells me, they've been cooking it like that for years with no complaints. Don't eat breakfast here! They want you to die because no one ever complained!

EK C.

Yelp
Café Momo leaves quite a bit to be desired. I came in this afternoon for lunch. It was mobbed! I got some potatoes, green beans, one piece of hamburger steak and a few steamed veggies. It wasn't fancy and. The food was quite bland. To add insult to injury the whole thing was almost $11. Overpriced for what appears to be run of the mill cafeteria food. Positives, the place was clean and the food was hot, but unfortunately not enough to make me a repeat customer.

Crystal C.

Yelp
Super cozy cafe, quick service and friendly staff! Really felt like home cooked meals, food was absolutely mouthwatering and fresh. Simple and delicious, definitely a must to stop by!

Ethan L.

Yelp
The place is exactly what it looks like. We eat breakfast there most of the week we are in the city. They have all the normal stuff, bacon, eggs, sausage. The price is reasonable and you pay by weight.

Jeff G.

Yelp
3.5 stars. The food items are a hit or miss. Sometimes they have some bomb dishes like the corn beef and ribs, and frequently some food is dry and tasteless. I usually choose this place only when I'm really hungry.

Tan M.

Yelp
Woohoo ! The best deli food in Atlanta - at a reasonable price - and the cashiers are people persons, that don't waste your time, knowing grouchy people are those with empty stomachs.Quick Smorgasbord, get what you want, pay, and you're out in less than 5 minutes. You're not standing in a long line - just to order. You order nothing here, sit down and wait. I love the quick, smooth take out system they have.

Erika S.

Yelp
So I came to this so called "mall" on a Sunday around 1ish. Because this was my first time checking this place out let me stArt by saying.. this place is downtown atl. Therefore you most likely will have to pay for parking. Which will be about 10 and up just to park. Walking to the mall was beautiful of course you are downtown atl and the buildings are tall and traffic was moving. Everything on the way to this mall had things going on inside. The walk was about 10 mins. Once we are there we weren't sure if we take the random escalator that we're outside down or if we walk inside the huge glass building. Since the glass doors said the mall we went there only to have to go downstairs where the "mall" is located. The mall was DEAD! nothing was really open and I wouldn't come here alone. We made our way finally to the food court where this cafe is located. First of all you can not eat there. It's a buffet style layout that goes by weight. And you have to take ur food back to the food court where everything and everyone is at. So NOOOO going back for 2nds. aka no buffet. I had a very light plate due to the fact I was getting over food poisoning. About 3 different items from the menu. White rice. Green beans. And a little beat of meat (mostly sauce for the rice). Also a soda which came out to over 10 bucks. For the food, the location and the price I wouldn't come back unless I was already there and sick again since everything else was really greasy. LOL

Yelp
Don't go after 2:30pm, been stopping here periodically throughout the years, yesterday I stopped by to grab a quick bite for lunch and experienced VERY POOR service. I've been on a vegetarian diet for a couple years so yesterday I purchased mostly veggies and a piece of fish. While eating things appeared to be fairly old ( sitting on the bar all day) BUT being x military it really must be bad for me to complain. So after eating half my veggies I decided to cut a piece of the fish, after cutting it open I couldn't tell what kind of fish it was because the meat inside the fish was grey. So after forcing down the veggies and two pieces of rock hard sushi I took the fish back and asked the guy at the register if he now what type of fish I purchased, when he said SALMON, I informed him that I didn't feel comfortable eating IT and would like to replace it for a small bowl of fruit. Rather than saying, sorry sir, sure help yourself, he said, THE BOWL OF FRUIT THAT I GET MUST WEIGHT THE SAME AS THE PEICE OF FISH, I was like, are you kidding me, As much of my money that your restaurant collected over the years, that's the BEST you can do. I asked to speak with a manager, of course, no manager available, so this guys was fighting with me OVER THE WEIGHT OF A SMALL FRUIT BOWL IN RELATIONS TO THE WEIGHT OF THE FISH!!! WOW, NEVER AGAIN, so the small fruit bowl I received was OLD FRUIT AS WELL. MONO you should retrain your employees ASAP. We're talking about a FRUIT BOWL MAN. All the food was very old, so be careful when you dine HERE AFTER 2:00PM remember, it a buffets. Would've give -Star

Yelp
Excellent diverse lunch buffet @ $5.89/lb. & panini to order. This is in the food court near the Marta station at Peachtree. I agree with Whitney's assessment.

David H.

Yelp
It was my regular morning walk that ended on Peachtree Street right in front of Cafe Momo. "Hmm.." I thought, "...who's Momo?" Certainly not the Italian motorsports company and definitely not that endangered character on Avatar. It's a self serve buffet-style restaurant that charges by the pound. Peaking in, I felt the need to snoop around a bit more before choosing my prey. To my surprise, they didn't serve the usual buffet style foods, everything looked like it took some effort and they even tried to plate them aesthetically on the warming treys. I like this place already! Ok, so this place looks quite clean and pretty for a fast foodie joint, now what about quality? The verdict? Cafe Momo, you are guilty of delicious food at a reasonable price and sentence to life of making me more with no parole... sorry. The jury totally agrees from the looks of the other reviews. It was surprisingly good! The barbecued items were lacking though, didn't seem like they did anything to the sauce sadly. As I picked my items out, I made sure to place a variety of items on my tray so that I wouldn't be stuck with one item that I might've hated. It was actually quite humorous watching the faces of the employees as I stacked up 8 items in one box. Don't forget to try the pasta salad also, it was one of my favorites! The texture of these items were expected to be dry due to the preparation and storing of the dishes, but they weren't bad at all! Some dishes were outright great. I'll be back Cafe Momo, because I didn't... it would be a crime.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Cool spot to grab coffee or do some work. Their Nitro Cold Brew on draft is awesome and from what I can tell, their soft serve is extremely unique.

Alicia A.

Yelp
Great foood! I would definitely recommend this place as a good lunch spot. They do close kind of early though. I wish their hours were extended a bit more.

Robin S.

Yelp
Stopped in here for breakfast during Dragon*Con. Wide selection of food and what I got was tasty. Bacon was crisped to the point of disintegration, though. And the food wasn't hot. I saw some signs indicating there was a microwave available but who knows to use that before you leave with your food?

Nya ..

Yelp
WAY TOO MUCH MONEY BEWARE! Honestly the food is no where near great the best thing was the green beans, I payed about $14 for a ton of unedible food that I ended up trashing. It may seem nice and affordable but then price rises extremely quickly. The potatoes did not even taste good how do they mess up potatoes?!

SHERRY N.

Yelp
never again , got sick from one of the following foods chicken, sushi, beets or mushrooms. feel like puking , stomach is qweezy. they refused to refund me, wrote a complaint with the customer service area. i used to eat here almost every day, for $7.20 manager refused to give me my money back. never again. i will never come to this place again.

Ned S.

Yelp
Although everything looks well made, nothing tastes like it looks. Not coming back. My nephew thought and said the same thing and we didn't finish our food. A waste of $12 each.

Mike M.

Yelp
I wonder what this is going to run me being as hungry as I am. great stuff at a good price

Shara S.

Yelp
This is buffet by the pound sort of place which seems like a good idea for a busy work afternoon. Just see what looks good and pick the food up really quick. They do have a good number of items , lots a fresh looking salads. They also have plates of sushi rolls which you can pick pieces from. I got 6 pieces , 2 each of 3 different kinds of rolls. I carried it to my office ( 7 min walk away), and opened it to find that the sushi was smelling strongly fishy and off. I tired eating a small price but the taste was definitely questionable.. So I ended up not eating it. Maybe their other stuff I ok, sushi wasn't good.

Kristina B.

Yelp
Super cheap and quick! Just what I was looking for. Three fried eggs with bacon and a few potatoes $2.89!! Deal. Don't judge, I didn't eat dinner the night before. Plenty to choose from, French toast, fried , eggs, scrambled eggs, three different types of grits, fresh fruit...it's pay by the pound.

Tracey S.

Yelp
Lots of choices so you can really create the meal you'd like to eat. Everything I chose was good. I liked that they had seaweed salad. The only problem was the inattentive cashier who could not put away her mobile phone. If I had been her supervisor or manager, she'd have had a large problem.

Stella M.

Yelp
This place is pretty awesome. The selection is awesome and it's so busy that the food is fresh because they're constantly refilling the trays. They have southern favorites like fried catfish and collard greens to lots of fresh healthy salad options to sushi. The sushi was actually pretty good and not just California rolls. They had stuff like shrimp tempura rolls. All for a price lower than what you would pay at a place like whole foods.

Erin W.

Yelp
You can get with this or you can get with that! Chicken, beef, pork, fish, grilled, fried, baked, fruits, salads, sides, desserts, sushi, breakfast, lunch and dinner, you name it MoMo has it. Located in the heart of the Mall at Peachtree Center food court is literally a food haven for all. This weighted buffet offers hot and cold options where you can build healthy or hearty balanced meals. I go at least twice a week for salads or hot plates. Hungry for breakfast? Try the turkey sausage, chicken sausage, sweet plantains and scalloped apples. Ready for Lunch? The roasted turkey, grilled chicken breast or bourbon chicken paired with strawberry, Cesar or Greek salad is great! Seeking a Healthy Alternative? Everything is fresh and the strawberries, melon, watermelon, pears and yogurt with granola are all good. Interested in Dessert Only? Peach cobbler, blackberry cobbler, pecan pie and cookies are available at checkout. Breakfast is $4.89 a pound. Lunch is $5.89 a pound. The choice is yours. Enjoy! P.S. Did I mention it's weighted? Pace yourself at the buffet. Piling on more will cost you more. On average I spend about $6.50 with tax.

Yumiko K.

Yelp
After having spent 1.5 days in Atlanta, I was severely veggie- and fruit-deprived. That is exactly why I almost wet my pants and shivered in excitement like a teacup chihuahua when I saw veggie scrambles and beautiful assortment of fruits on the buffet tables. Then, some fried plantains and cheesy grits caught my attention; of course I had to get some (just for a taste). I was also hoping to get a muffin or pastry to snack on, but I stayed away from their baked goods (muffins/bagels/other pastries) for they did not look appetizing at all. I got a little over 1lb of food, paid for my food, grabbed a fork, and rushed back to my hotel room to devour my breakfast. Everything I got was pretty straightforward and nothing fancy, but that was exactly what I was looking for at that moment. I truly enjoyed my breakfast from Cafe Momo!

Kelly W.

Yelp
I normally wouldn't write a review of a buffet in a fake mall, or eat at one for that matter, but when I first started working at Peachtree Center, I had some seriously sad lunches before finding this spot. For what it is - a working week lunch buffet and sandwich shop- it is about as good as it gets. The vegetables are always fresh, the meat is oddly high quality, and the prepared dishes are always just a bit more thoughtful than you'd expect. Let's do a typical mall/ Ryan's/ suburban buffet vs. Cafe Momo comparison for illustrative purposes, shall we? off brand Velveeta mac & cheese vs. 3 cheese pasta with chicken and chipotle peppers "fish" vs. baked tilapia with lemon, dill, and red chili pepper wilted terrifying green shit vs. romaine, feta, purple onion, cucumber, olives, Greek dressing miscellaneous bits of fatty thigh and leg meat vs. pesto marinated chicken breast You get me. They always have salad, sushi, some kind of grilled chicken, and fruit salad. The chicken is chicken, not made of chicken, the fish is naturally shaped like a fish rather than a stick, etc. Other frequent offerings include lima beans, fried rice, baked chicken, baked tilapia, pot roast, bbq chicken wings, roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stir fry, steamed veggies. I almost always get the tilapia and lima beans, so satisfying on forgotten lunch days. The staff also gets two thumbs up for being super cheerful while wading through a bunch of hungry a$$holes in suits every day.

Joe I.

Yelp
Was newly in town for work and hungry for lunch when I stumbled into this place. My initial trepidation about eating at a buffet in a mall was severely beaten back by my stomach and the sight of tons of yummy looking food. And it was yummy. As it was a buffet I tried a little bit of a lot of things and enjoyed nearly everything and wished I had taken more of a lot of things. This place is worth a look for lunch. It won't blow your doors off with service or with a fancy vibe, but the food is solid and quick, which a great for lunch. I'd go back if I lived in the area.

Nikolai C.

Yelp
This review is for my experience with them during Dragoncon, since this is the only time I eat here each year. Pros: 1. Very convenient to the hotels. East to get in, easy to get out. Good prices on their items. 2. A large selection of items during the day. I mainly hit this place during breakfast to make life easier for me. If you keep it realistic, you won't pay a ton for the food. Get what you need, and go. This is my morning ritual each year for the con. Cons: 1. During peak times it can get crowded but that also means food will be very fresh during that time. Most of the con attendees will stick with their true fast food staples so don't fret too much. One more note, during peak times, you will most likely have zero chance of getting a seat at a table. You can always challenge someone to a duel for a spot, but don't be afraid to make new friends, especially if you're sitting by yourself. You might even find a cutie for yourself. 2. Some items are a little too greasy for my preference. The sushi was average, so you're better off getting from a spot that specializes in sushi. The secret to this place is knowing the best times to go there. Instead of going at the same time as everyone else, which is from 11:30 to 1:30, space out your need to stuff yourself at other times. The early mornings work the best for breakfast, pre-8:00 am, lunch around 2 - 4, and dinner later than 6:30 if possible. If you don't want to sit with strangers then you will park your behind on the floor or on some stairs. Think about it, sit in a chair and make new friends (or perhaps a lover. Mwuahahahahaha!) or sit on the floor, where people walk, with stuff on their shoes (imagination counts here boys and girls), and the potential of someone stepping on you, tripping over you, or ending up with a humongous derriere in your face while the winds of time gently blow your hair (or wig) back for that perfect balance of sewer gas and food entering your nostrils. I'll take the chair please.
