"Motek is an Israeli restaurant buried inside a huge building full of diamond shops, and getting here will make you feel like a considerably less stressed-out version of Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems. There are some very tasty things at the casual restaurant, especially sandwiches. We really like their crispy chicken schnitzel sandwich and the arayes burger, handheld beef-stuffed pitas that come with a side of crispy fries. The indoor restaurant is also BYOB with no corkage fee." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino
"Head to one of the multiple locations of this popular Israeli restaurant to sample its unique Bamba Old Fashioned. This twist on the classic cocktail features staple ingredients of bourbon, sugar, and bitters, reimagined with Israel’s most popular snack, bamba (peanut butter puffs). The drink uses bamba-infused bourbon, cane sugar, and peanut butter bitters." - Alona Martinez

"Motek, a very good Israeli restaurant in Downtown, isn’t visible from the street. It’s located inside an office building, and you really have to know where to look to find it. That means you (hopefully) will not have to compete for a table with the wandering Art Basel crowd. Once inside, order with confidence, because everything—shakshuka, schnitzel, hummus—is really good. They're also BYOB with no corking fee. " - ryan pfeffer
"Motek, a very good kosher Mediterranean restaurant, isn’t visible from the street. It’s located inside an office building, and you really have to know where to look to find it. That means you (hopefully) will not have to compete for a table with the wandering Art Basel crowd. Once inside, order away, because everything—shakshuka, schnitzel, hummus—is really good." - Kelli Cross, Ryan Pfeffer
