A small and cute cafe near Seaport. I usually walk my pup around the neighborhood and like to stop by this cafe from time to time (my pup also drags me to that cafe so she can pick up some crumbs on the ground). I always pick up a bag of Pao de Queijo. And this time, brought some to work to share with my coworkers which they really enjoyed. My fave is the original but they do have other options like everything bagel seasoning and bacon with cheese. They also have other Brazilian pastries and sandwiches which I have yet to try. Will be back to try their coffee and other pastries. But if you enjoy Brazilian cheese bread, definitely a must try.

A lovely Brazilian café with fantastic pastries. The Pão de Queijo is a standout, especially with unique twists like the everything and jalapeño flavors, which add a fun spin to the traditional flavor. Their sweets are also very yum - the almond croissant is buttery without being overly sweet, the cornbread is rich in corn flavor, and the caramelized banana bread is wonderfully moist and soft. Every pastry is a winner here!

Friendly staff, and good Brazilian baked goods, savory treats and pastries. Brigadeiro hot cocoa is a must

Visited here in early December. A cute and quaint little breakfast spot know for it's Brazilian breakfast options. Ended up getting the Broccoli and Cheddar Quiche and it was delicious. And you can easily walk to the pier to have an amazing view of the East river and Brooklyn Bridge while you enjoy your breakfast.

The Pao de queijo is a must this every fan cheese should try here. I’m a huge fan of Pao de queijo (or chipa) and I really liked the crunch and soft inside cheese of these. Pure cheese no excess of flour, highly recommend it

Visited this morning with my boyfriend whilst we’re in NYC - the latte was good, the breakfast sandwich was so yum, really good combination of flavours. But the caramelised banana bread - oh my goodness, I wish I could have this shipped back home to the UK. So so so good! Also really friendly servers and a nice place to sit and eat!

This was a very neat cafe that focused on Brazilian flavors. I will say I thought the food may have over shadowed the beverages but I also don't drink coffee so don't hang on my word there. I got a matcha latte I've had better but obviously I don't think that's what this place specializes in so I think it can be forgiven. I had the a croissant sandwich and my lady had these prosciutto sandwiches (sorry I don't know the exact names) they we're both outstanding albiet maybe on the pricey side but you're in the seaport district so it's to be expected.

Very cute spot at 2pm on a Sunday. A cozy coffee shop/bakery that doesn't rely on perfectly straight lines. The counter is beautifully crafted old wood that has probably been there forever. The display cases showing the pastries are well lit. Felt ma and pa to me. I got the Brazilian cheese bread - 5 pieces for $6.50. They gracefully warmed them up in a toaster oven before handing them off to us. They were little pillows of flavor - cheese forward of course. They are chewy and light. Not much seating. I see this place busy in the summer when tourists are abound. The chocolate cake was staring at me while we were seated eating so I might have to get that next time I'm in the area.

I came around 4pm on a Saturday and unfortunately they were out of the Pão de queijo. I tried their brigadeiro latte ($6) which was delicious. It's on the sweeter side and has that fudgy chocolate taste. It's also pretty - it has the brigadeiro sprinkles on top. Service is so nice and friendly! There are a few tables inside to sit down at, mostly 2 person tables. Looks like there's WiFi as well. Definitely want to come back to try more of their Brazilian items.

When I think tapioca, I would think of boba tea, but apparently they have something call tapioca chicken. This was a very interesting take using tapioca as a wrap for the chicken. It made the texture a little more chewier giving you savory taste of the chicken. It's a bit pricy around $15 dollars, but if you're in the mood to try something unique then I would recommend their chicken tapioca!

Well worth the value of getting Too Good to Go. All their cakes, pastries and cheese bread tastes wonderful. Customer service was very good, too. Very cute cafe. Will definitely be back again.

Original cheese bread - it seems like their cheese breads are made from tapioca. It's tastes mochi like texture on the inside. There's yellow cheese bits on the original cheese bread, which is salty but balances out along the way when chewing. Everything seasoning cheese bread - it tasted like everything but the bagel seasoning with strong garlic flavor. Jalapeño cheese bread - you can taste the pickled jalapeños bits and a bit of a kick but on the very mild side. Mixed berry scone - fluffy on the inside and semi crunchy on the outside. The flavors are not overpowering but well balanced between sweetness and acidity from the berries. Brazilian cream cheese - very thick and creamy cream cheese. For me tasted like sour cream mixed with cream cheese. Guava sauce - not too sweet! This will pair very well with the mixed berry scone. Service was great! The cashier/ server was able to answer my questions and offered to heat up the cheese breads. A small cafe with seating available. It is clean and well put. 8.1/10 for me!

A unique Brazilian cafe in the seaport area, I've been to Cafe Patoro a few times and it doesn't disappoint. Their po de queijo are chewy cheesy bread balls that they heat up for you and come in a few different flavors too. This time I also tried their Brazilian hot chocolate which was a bit too sweet but still pretty yummy. The chocolate sprinkles around the rim were a nice touch too. Unfortunately the shop is pretty small so there isn't much seating but I think it's a good to-go option in the area if you don't want a basic coffee shop.

This cute Brazilian coffee shop was down the street of our hotel. We were really impressed and had so fun planning our day out there. The workers were super friendly recommending us things to do and what is popular at the coffee shop. We tried the banana muffin and it was delicious! Not too sweet, I would say the top part is but the rest of the bread not really. It was very moist which was so good with your coffee. Not only that we had the Pao de Queijo and OMG it was SOOO GOOD! we actually came back on our last day to get more of them, that's how good they were!

This is a cute little cafe in the Seaport. They have a bunch of homemade Brazilian baked items as well as Brazilian coffee! Their coffee is really good. I really like the espresso. I got the dulce de leche. It's a good middle ground of sweet compared to their chocolate one, which is like an extra fancy and chocolate filled mocha. I also really enjoyed their chicken empanada. The empanada was so flakey and the chicken inside was incredibly juicy and flavorful! I highly recommend trying this place out!

This was my go to coffee shop during a recent trip to NYC. Service was always friendly, and my lattes were perfect. My experience here has me considering a trip to Brazil.

A cute little Brazilian café in the FiDi in the Seaport area. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Limited lunch options, but that tapioca crepe is worth the lunch visit by itself! Pão de Queijo - Original: It's the original for a reason! Warmed up to order so you experience a crispy exterior and chewy inside. I like that they were especially generous with the cheese. Pão de Queijo - Maple Bacon: Wasn't a fan of this new flavor. The little bacon bits reminded me of Bac Os and the maple flavor wasn't working for me in pão form. Pão de Queijo - Onion & Chives: Meanwhile, I was a big fan of this innovation. Onion and chives taste great on potato chips, so why not pãos? It seemed there was also cheese in this one, so a bonus. A little more flavor than the original. Tapioca Chicken Crepe: A very hearty lunch choice! Lots of nicely spiced marinated shredded chicken. Covered in a dusting of queso fresco. And with a chewy and hearty tapioca crepe shell. Very unique compared to anything in the FiDi. Brigadeiro Cake: Chocolate overload! Rich moist devil's food like chocolate cake. Kind of a ganache meets syrup chocolate "frosting" in the layers. And lots of fun sprinkles. Almost couldn't finish this after my meal... almost.

This was a 10 minute walk from the hotel we stayed in and it was worth the walk over! The inside was cute and had a few tables to sit at. There were several types of pastries in the glass case and I ordered Five Original Pao De Quiejos for $6.50. There was no line and the server was friendly and helped me right away. The Pao De Quiejos were great and definitely different from other breads I've had before. Next time I'll try the jalapeno ones!

It's been packed on the weekend but you can find a place for seating all the time. Cute and cozy but a wonderful atmosphere :) I highly recommend to stop by at this location. Bathroom set up.

Such a cute bakery! Excellent Brazilian cheese bread and caramelized banana bread. The dulce de leche latte was also delicious. Highly recommend!

Best coffee shop we visited on our NYC trip! And best of all, we found it by accident when we saw a sign on the sidewalk while walking back to our hotel! Also love the cute duck theme! Drinks are reasonably priced at $3 to $5 unlike a lot of other places in NYC! And they also have the best pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread)!! Especially if you get them fresh out of the oven! They usually cost 12 for $12 but on weekdays from 3 to 4 PM they have a happy hour deal where you can get 12 for only $8! Highly recommend you try some!!

Yummy I've been here multiple times. It's located on a cute cobblestone street in seaport, tucked away from the financial hub. They have a cute small seating area. Recently I tried their broccoli cheddar quiche which was like a homemade flakey pastry pot pie, absolutely divine! I devoured it before my brain restarted to remind me to take a picture. Their coffee and Brazilian puffs are a hit.

Legitimately the best pão de queijo I've had in my life. If you come between 3-4 PM on weekdays, you can get 1 dozen for $8, rather than the $1/each price that they are usually. Beverages are fantastic and feel affordable, unlike so many spots in NYC. I'm so glad that we found it because after my husband and I went in to our hotel with my au lait and my husband's drip coffee, the staff at the front desk said it was the best coffee shop in the area!

A small space, so a few seating tables, that you bus yourself. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful and we ordered a bag of five pao de queijos--two original, two chive, and one italian seasoning. My favorite was the original, I wouldn't bother with the other flavors again. They heated them up for us, which was nice. The almond milk latte I ordered was slightly sweet, and brigadeiro latte with oat milk was basically a mocha. We enjoyed both. I wish they had plates/cups for those to stay, but I suppose it's to cut down on the cleaning work.

Super cute little Brazilian coffee shop! My cold brew was strong and I loved their pao de quiejo! I had a few for breakfast on my walk to work and they hit the spot. Service was quick and friendly and I would totally go back if in the area.

The coffee was okay but the younger male barista is rude or more likely just poorly trained. I ordered and finished my first coffee while I waited for my friend to arrive. After she got there, I wanted to order another coffee and some food as well. My friend was in front of me and ordered first. Since there were only a few people working and it was getting busy, I had to wait a bit. No problem. Before I was able to order my food, however, a girl came in and walked right up as if she didn't already see me standing there patiently waiting. When I mentioned that I was waiting first, she ignored me. The cafe has no control over rude people so that's not their fault but then the barista said to me, "I'm going to serve her first." My friend and I looked at each other, shocked and in disbelief. I just didn't feel like ordering anything after that and sat back down as my friend had her coffee and croissant. We tried to move past it but it really threw off what should have been a pleasant morning.

After 7.5 miles of sight seeing we headed back to our hotel to rest our feet and I was in need of a caffeine boost. This inviting little shop is close to our hotel. The gentleman behind the counter is so very polite, kind and helpful. As it's after lunch, the variety of available pastries was limited, but there were still plenty in the display case if I had wanted one. And that chocolate cake! O.M.G. That chocolate cake looks absolutely mouth wateringly, decadent. The coffee was a full pour, right to the top. They add the milk and set it on a counter where you can add all the sugar or whatever your taste buds desire and pop on a to-go lid. There are a couple tables inside, but I took mine back to the hotel where I took off my shoes and enjoyed this full bodied coffee, with a nice smooth finish. A really good cup of coffee. I definitely recommend this place.

Stopped by Cafe Patoro while walking around Seaport. We grabbed an Au Lait and Matcha Latte, which were both great! Their coffee and matcha were both delicious and flavorful. They have simple syrup and vanilla simple syrup by the counter for you to add sweetness to your liking. We also tried their brazilian cheese breads, which were a great snack. Would definitely recommend for cheese fans! The inside seating and ambiance was also really nice. And prices were very reasonable for what we ordered!

This is a cute Brazilian cafe! I ordered the chocolate brigadeiro cake for takeout. It was a great as a moist chocolate cake, but I wish the 'Brazilian chocolate truffle filling' came through stronger. I am obsessed with brigadeiros, so I was hoping to taste that decadent flavor within the cake more. I'll have to come back and try some of the other items that stood out to me, including the brigadeiros truffles, Brazilian carrot cake, brigadeiro latte, and pão de queijo.

Cafe Patoro is a gem. Their coffee is excellent but the pastries are something to hype about. Get all kinds of Brazilian cheesy bread and all sorts of different cornbread; they are all superb! Highly recommend stopping here for a morning coffee and grab a pastry (or two).

The coffee and hot chocolate are sheer comfort in a cup, but seriously, their chocolate chip cookie is sublime. You won't taste another one like it maybe ever. So creamy and rich and flavorful

Came in for a quick order of beverages and the place is clean and cozy. The service was quick and had no line. The staff were nice and courteous. The drip coffee was decent. Most of the pastries are sold out except the Brazilian cheese balls (pao de queijo).

This is a nice small coffee shop with great options. The chai latte was flavorful and not sweet and the hot chocolate tasted natural and delicious. The blueberry scone was great... flavorful and not dry. They have a great selection, nice staff, and everything was average NY prices.

Cafe Patoro is a cute Brazilian cafe and bakery with pastries you can't really find at many other places. I tried: Original cheese PDQs (pao de queijo): really tasty! They're like little cheese bread puffs. They have many other flavors like jalapeño, garlic, etc Cornbread: really good Brazilian carrot cake: this was my favorite. It doesn't taste like carrot cake at all though, pretty much just a little chocolate bundt.

I was looking for a cafe to grab a quick coffee and I came across this place. The workers were extremely friendly and welcoming. I got the Iced Dulce De Leche Latte and it was delicious. I wish their sizes were bigger so I could've had more of it. Their Brazilian Carrot Cale caught my eye and I decided to get it. It was absolutely delicious! I love chocolate and carrot cake so I knew I had to try it. The carrot taste wasn't too strong and the chocolate wasn't overpoweringly sweet. I highly recommend if you do come across it! Apparently it's only served on the weekends. I hope they have it daily soon!

Wow just wow. The food and the service is incredible. The atmosphere is welcoming and cute. I happened to stop by and it was incredible! There was the cheesebread that was delicious but surprisingly the pesto flavor was my favorite. I got a breakfast sandwich and when I say PERFECT I sure mean it. My friends were all incredibly happy with their orders. Standouts were: breakfast sandwich, pesto cheesebread, guava cornbread, and the carrot cake (has chocolate on top). The berry scone is yummy too. Service with a smile and very helpful! I can't recommend enough

If I could offer more stars I would! The absolute best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Delicious tomato aioli. Fast service. Incredible almond croissants. Husband loved his coffee. Fast and friendly service as well! Small space, may not be ideal for groups, kids, strollers.

To start off, when walking up to the counter of this place a wasp flew in front of the employee working, instead of just ignoring it they tried to clap it in between both of their hands and it flew right into my face. Instead of being apologetic, the employee laughed, like it was funny a wasp flew right at me after they aggravated it. Great start! On to the actual drink I got. When ordering a large hot chai latte I have some expectations on what I would be getting, this place did not deliver on any of them. The large drink I ordered was in what looked like an large expresso cup. So small, I had to even ask to make sure that it was a large. Spending $5.50 this just left like the biggest rip off. I get this is New York City but come on. I passed quite a few Starbucks walking here, I want to support small business when I can but for the same price at Starbucks I could get just as good as a drink for three times the amount. The Chai itself was okay, nothing to make me go back.

Came here for some sweets. The sweets were okay and a bit too expensive. I think each brigadeiro was $2. The cake in a cup was decent quality and decently priced. May come back for their savory products to try later since they are conveniently located for me. The sweets I must say were a little disappointing.

My review is simply based on customer service and the pao de queijo. These heavily little bites of cheese filled bread are my favorite. I stumbled on this cute cafe while cutting through the side streets of the seaport district. I've since visited 4 times to solely purchase Pao De Queijo by the dozen (or three ). Always friendly staff ready to greet you upon entering. TIP: They freeze and reheat just fine. In the warmer temps, you can grab a tiny two seater out front.

I like the very yummy pastries like the almond croissant and fluffy donut. I also like the customer service and they smile!

Great coffee, even more amazing treats! We were staying near the Seaport for a staycation and came here for coffee and snacks. The pão de quiejo was fantastic and the brigadeiro latte is delicious! I just wished I could have had their cake!

What can I say about Cafe Patoro?! It's truly a FiDi gem! Their breakfast sandwiches are incredible, with flaky pastries that leave your mouth watering. The drinks are phenomenal, with the hot chocolate being not too sweet like other cafes. As someone who hasn't had much exposure to Brazilian food, I jumped at the chance to try some Pao de Queijos and I'm glad I did - make sure you ask them to warm it up! A little bit of a wait to get food sometimes but it's worth it and the service is good.

Oh man, this place was good. Wanted hot chocolate in the area, but also ended up getting lunch. Got the arugula salad and the mini pdq sandwiches. delicious! I liked the ham and cheese one and pesto one. The salad was surprisingly good too and filling with all the toppings. The hot chocolates were good, not great. It was more milky and dark chocolate than solid milk chocolate. I did like the marshmellows though. They have about ten seats but it's a cute place and tons of foot traffic/kids. Nice street in fidi too.

Cheap plug for too good too go app. Bought a bag via too good to go. All the pastry they gave me was really good. Can't judge on price because it was a package deal

Pastries are made daily in house and delicious. Chai latte and Brazilian chocolate latte were superb.

I did the Too Good to Go pick up here and got 5 cinnamon spiced donuts and a small chocolate cake (I think the Brazilian carrot cake?!) for $5.99. Great value and everyone loved the treats!

Primarily focusing on brigadeiro (fudge-like) and various pao de queijo/PDQ/cheese breads, this is a nice new Brazilian bakeshop and coffee shop located in South Street Seaport. They also have a few tiny sandwiches and some breakfast/lunch options along with La Colombe coffee. There weren't many people in there and it was already a bit late and they were already out of some of their "PDQs" as well a cake but but overall the food was quite fresh. The staff was also very nice and also patient with some tourists who came in shortly after me. The desserts here I tried was excellent while their PDQs were fine. I solely had two PDQs (regular and olive) with their cream cheese spread (extra 50 cents) and a brigadeiro cookie. The PDQs were fine though a bit pricey. They reminded me a bit of a Brazilian take on Bantam bagels, those usually cheese stuffed bagel bites which also happen to be both convenient and a bit pricey though with a better cheese here. I've had pao de queijo before and I found the olive one to be a bit better (I assume more since it felt like it was more worth it for the price.) The spread was well a spread. It worked but I think one should be for free if you order enough of them as it just adds cost. Their cookie was a lot better. The middle reminded me of the eponymous fudge truffle and the outside had a good amount of sprinkles. It was soft and quite delicious and well worth it (I believe for 3.50.) It's probably would be one of the better chocolate chip cookies in the city if the texture on the outside was as good as the inside. I'd definitely get one of those again if I am in the area and I have a sweet-tooth. 2.5 (Traditional PDQ) 3.0 (Olive PDQ) 4.0 (Brigadiero cookie) This is a a welcome new place in the South Street Seaport but I couldn't help but think that the cookie was a lot better. They do have deals for their PDQs but I still think they are a bit too much. Good place though.

I'm a bit surprised that the cafe I went to is the same as the one with all these glowing reviews. When I found out about this place, I was so excited because I love Brazilian food and there aren't that many such offerings in the city. However, I ordered a sampling of each cheesy bread and a slice of brigadeiro cake, and everything was just meh. The brigadeiro ganache on top and between the cake layers were good, but the cake layers themselves tasted like cheap boxed cake mix from the supermarket. It was nice to try it, but there are many other bakeries in NYC which make better layered cakes. At least, the cake was moist and tasted like it was made this afternoon... ... unlike the cheesy breads, which were very dry and tough. Keeping in mind that it's very hard for Brazilian pão de queijo to be dry, with their glutinous texture and oil content, the pieces they sold me must have been really old. The total of $14 I spent here for a slice of cake and 6 dry little cheesy breads was not outrageous, but felt a bit overpriced due to the disappointing quality. They do have coffee and lunch-type offerings. Maybe others are having more luck with those.

Always love this little cafe. A staple in the South Street Seaport area, they sell the Brazilian cheese breads (pao de queijo) and an amazing cornbread that I'm completely addicted to. The coffee is good and they have other baked goods that are always made and baked fresh there daily. The storefront is small but there are a few little tables and a bench to sit at. Bring some friends, grab a snack, walk the seaport!

Legitimately the based Iced Latte I have ever had! They are the nicest warmest people in there as well! You need to try this place!!

Cheese breads - chewy with a hint of salty flavor along with some bacon and pepper taste. Chocolate cake - moist and not so sweet, if you are craving for a good moist chocolate cake you can try this one.

Cute place that smells good as soon as you enter the space. If you're looking for PDQ (Pao De Queijo) aka Brazilian cheese bread then this is the place to go. They serve PDQ and coffee and offer a nice space to relax on the weekends - especially if you're looking to get away from the hectic crowds in Seaport. This place definitely is a hit for FiDi residents as well.
