19 Great Places To Drink Coffee In London

"Coleman Coffee Roasters near Waterloo is that perfect-looking coffee shop where you might accidentally get talking to a stranger in. You’ll become firm friends over your shared love of terrazzo, smooth espresso, and Vichy Catalan sparkling water. You might also share something from their selection of pastries, sweet things, and snacks. Warning: if you’re planning this kind of scenario you should know that they close at 3pm." - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

It's a shop with coffe and bakery. They use and sell Coleman Cofee Roasters beans. My Latte was served in regular cup 8 oz. Unfortunately the milk was too hot to feel real taste and I had wait to cool it down. It is good but has short aftertaste. On a scale 1 to 10 points I'd give 6.

Small in stature but big on quality. Their croissants are the best I've had in London, owed largely to the fact that they use imported French butter. The espresso is also well done. There is a small courtyard out back to meet friends or enjoy some alone time with your beverage off the busy street.

the two “baristas” serving were laughably bad at their job. first girl super uninterested and not bothered completely, me and my friend ordered two cortados and we were given basically an espresso with a drop of milk (macchiato). I asked the other barista there and her first reaction was to rudely disagree with me, and instead of remaking my drink the best she could offer was to pour it into a bigger glass and add some cold foamy milk. super nice little shop and the actual coffee tasted nice but let down by the employees.

I walked in with a friend fir some coffee, my friend was served and I was left hanging by the till waiting to be asked for an order, even when it was obvious we are together, so expected to take order from both of us at the same time. I had to ask another staff to take my order, instead. The pastry I had would be lovely if it was warmed up, no such option offered, when I asked for some syrup in my coffee I was informed they do not provide syrups. Overall stunned with the ignorance of the service process, disappointed with the food and coffee and shocked how much overpriced it was. Lovely back garden was spoiled by a little mouse peeking from the pile of boards stashed on the side of the wall.

This cafe was a short walk from our hotel and we are so happy we came. My partner and I are not coffee drinkers, but I was quite happy to have a cute hot chocolate and water. Unfortunately my partner was unable to have a hot drink as there was a very minimal menu. We loved our breakfast sandwiches and sitting out in the back terrace was relaxing!

This is a lovely bakery with free WiFi and a nice homely atmosphere. The staff were chatty and friendly, and the place throughout the day filled up constantly. Their pastries all looked delicious, but I would say definitely get here early as they run out QUICK. I managed to get a hazelnut chocolatine, but literally q0 minutes after I arrived, they only had plain and chocolate croissants and brownies left. This was a take on an almond croissant. But instead of almond, they used hazelnuts. It was so good, and I loved the addition of chopped hazelnuts running throughout the past as well. The chocolate was dark, and the pastry was dense from the extra butter but still crispy (even though I think there could be more layers for more flakiness). I didn't have a coffee, but over the couple of hours I sat here, people were constantly coming in and out for coffee alone, so I would say it's good. All in all, a great bakery to go to that isn't too far from central London. Definitely recommend 👌!

The food here is very nice, i just had probably the best BLT of my life here. The pastries are also excellent, especially the pain aux raisins The coffee isn’t quite as good but still nice
