"Coleman Coffee Roasters near Waterloo is that perfect-looking coffee shop where you might accidentally get talking to a stranger in. You’ll become firm friends over your shared love of terrazzo, smooth espresso, and Vichy Catalan sparkling water. You might also share something from their selection of pastries, sweet things, and snacks. Warning: if you’re planning this kind of scenario you should know that they close at 3pm." - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

This is a lovely bakery with free WiFi and a nice homely atmosphere. The staff were chatty and friendly, and the place throughout the day filled up constantly. Their pastries all looked delicious, but I would say definitely get here early as they run out QUICK. I managed to get a hazelnut chocolatine, but literally q0 minutes after I arrived, they only had plain and chocolate croissants and brownies left. This was a take on an almond croissant. But instead of almond, they used hazelnuts. It was so good, and I loved the addition of chopped hazelnuts running throughout the past as well. The chocolate was dark, and the pastry was dense from the extra butter but still crispy (even though I think there could be more layers for more flakiness). I didn't have a coffee, but over the couple of hours I sat here, people were constantly coming in and out for coffee alone, so I would say it's good. All in all, a great bakery to go to that isn't too far from central London. Definitely recommend 👌!

This cafe was a short walk from our hotel and we are so happy we came. My partner and I are not coffee drinkers, but I was quite happy to have a cute hot chocolate and water. Unfortunately my partner was unable to have a hot drink as there was a very minimal menu. We loved our breakfast sandwiches and sitting out in the back terrace was relaxing!

Overpriced, dry & old tasting pastries :( Food: I got the everything croissant and kouign amann. The everything one was SOO dry—apparently there was cream cheese in there? The kouign aman was overly sweet. Neither pastry tasted fresh. Coffee:I got a flat white and it was good! Ambiance: small cafe with a few tables. Staff weren’t too friendly, at one point one of them screamed “excuse me!!!” In an unnecessarily loud way at some other guests which was pretty uncomfortable. The staff mainly chatted among themselves, my table stayed dirty/had dirty dishes the entire time. The two tables near the window are charming to sit and and watch the world go by. Bathroom downstairs was pretty bad. They offer wifi

Superb little cafe with an excellent choice of bakes and superlative coffee. This cafe is a gem! Some really interesting bakes (cardamom and orange!!) and fantastic coffee. Really nice outdoor seating too. Highly recommend to any lovers of coffee or pastries!

Café Pedlar is a small hidden gem bakery on the lively lower marsh street. It usually is always busy and full, but I managed to visit early in the morning and found a seat inside. I ordered a latte and a savory croissant with ham and cheese, both were delicious, but a bit on the pricier side (£9.52) A cosy place to enjoy your morning coffee, but also good for takeaway. Loved the background playlist, which added to the easy going atmosphere.

Maybe they're more well known for their pastry which I didn't get but the coffee could really do better. Lovely atmosphere tho and there's also free WiFi provided here.
