19 Great Places To Drink Coffee In London

"Coleman Coffee Roasters near Waterloo is that perfect-looking coffee shop where you might accidentally get talking to a stranger in. You’ll become firm friends over your shared love of terrazzo, smooth espresso, and Vichy Catalan sparkling water. You might also share something from their selection of pastries, sweet things, and snacks. Warning: if you’re planning this kind of scenario you should know that they close at 3pm." - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

We got the BLT and the goat cheese sandwich, both were great! The staff was kind and the service was good. Would definitely go again

It's a shop with coffe and bakery. They use and sell Coleman Cofee Roasters beans. My Latte was served in regular cup 8 oz. Unfortunately the milk was too hot to feel real taste and I had wait to cool it down. It is good but has short aftertaste. On a scale 1 to 10 points I'd give 6.

the two “baristas” serving were laughably bad at their job. first girl super uninterested and not bothered completely, me and my friend ordered two cortados and we were given basically an espresso with a drop of milk (macchiato). I asked the other barista there and her first reaction was to rudely disagree with me, and instead of remaking my drink the best she could offer was to pour it into a bigger glass and add some cold foamy milk. super nice little shop and the actual coffee tasted nice but let down by the employees.

Used to be our favourite coffee shop, but staff change so frequently now that it’s lost some of its warmth and friendliness and service is often slower as new staff are constantly being trained. The coffee is still good though.

Small in stature but big on quality. Their croissants are the best I've had in London, owed largely to the fact that they use imported French butter. The espresso is also well done. There is a small courtyard out back to meet friends or enjoy some alone time with your beverage off the busy street.

The look of this place is amazing. It has a rustic feel to it that is super cool. The coffee was really good. The chocolate croissant had almost no chocolate in it though😔 The meat pie and quiche was delicious. Unfortunately they only have an electric grill to heat it up so it might be better to take home and warm yourself.

Dropped in for a quick work break and it hit the spot. Tiny location with just enough seating to feel tucked away, plus a little backyard that’s perfect for a quiet reset. Coffee’s excellent—smooth, well-pulled shots and thoughtful pour-overs. Staff are friendly and efficient, which helps when you’re on a tight schedule. It’s not a place to camp out for hours, but ideal for a mid-afternoon breather with quality caffeine and a bit of calm. Definitely one of those hidden gems you’re glad to have nearby.

This cafe was a short walk from our hotel and we are so happy we came. My partner and I are not coffee drinkers, but I was quite happy to have a cute hot chocolate and water. Unfortunately my partner was unable to have a hot drink as there was a very minimal menu. We loved our breakfast sandwiches and sitting out in the back terrace was relaxing!
