At Café Pilz, it’s not only encouraged, but kind of compulsory. Crammed with locals huddled around piles of crispy torn potatoes with bright green aioli, this lively neighbourhood restaurant is best when you try a forkful of everything. So round up a group and order the entire menu of vegetarian Levantine small plates. Incredibly silky and creamy hummus, best Muhammara I‘ve had in Berlin and Labneh to indulge in. Yalla 10/10, honestly was amazed by how good it was. Also, the bread? So delicious? Idk what they are doing to it but just order extra bread, so good. Will definitely come back. 🙂‍↕️

The food is super delicious, I’ve tried different places that offer hummus and other aubergine dips, but this one is by far one of my favourites. I also couldn’t believe that the Labneh was vegan, it really tasted like normal Greek yogurt. The only negative point is that we usually have to wait 20min WITH reservation, which is quite terrible. Especially since the entrance is very narrow and there is a lot of movement, so you just feel super awkward and uncomfortable… And on top of that, we also got asked to leave cause some other clients were waiting for our table, even tho we barely stayed for 1h 😅

Absolutely finger-licking delicious food in a cozy atmosphere! Try the torn potatoes and their amazing hummus. The spicy aubergine is one of the tastiest dishes in the menu. They serve a basket of fresh bread and you can always order more. The service is very kind and everything tastes great. 3 dishes, topped with wine—a great full meal for 3 people. Will definitely visit here again!

The food was amazing, the flavors were very surprising in the best way. The service was also good, it’s a busy restaurant with a lot of people waiting but it didn’t bother me. We sat outside and this was very nice. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin!

The bread was heaven. We really loved all of the healthy vegan food options even though me and my friend often tend to opt for a good piece of meat. Everything was very flavourful and rich in taste. There were a lot of wine options and some typical German other drinks. Free tapwater is always a plus. The restaurant is small but cosy.
