"Cafe Puaa, a great Mediterranean restaurant in Jaffa Flea Market Every time I visit the flea market in Jaffa, I must stop for a cup of coffee or a bite at Pua restaurant. The space looks like a retro apartment my grandparents used to have, filled with furnitures and decorations well collected from the vintage stores next door. Beside the eclectic atmosphere and design, Pua serves a great, earthy and tasty food. Israeli breakfast is served all day (a great plus for those who love a good well-balanced mediterranean breakfast) and the menu changes according to the owner’s desire. Rest asure that every day will be a good one. I highly recommend to make reservations (if possible) or be patient as this place is very busy."

Easily my favorite restaurant. I come here every other week, and it never disappoints. The menu is short — almost suspiciously so — but everything on it is solid. They clearly go for quality over quantity, and it works. They offer a discount with the Behatzdaa card for reservists, which is a nice touch and genuinely appreciated. The staff are friendly without being fake, and the whole place has this cozy, no-frills, “you’re part of the family” vibe. It’s not trying to be trendy or over-the-top — just good food, good people, and a space that feels like a second home. Honestly, if they added two more tables, I’d probably be annoyed. Let’s keep this our little secret.

Very good food, feels like anything you will take will be of good quality, des Mejadara is delicious, the dumplings! Wow! The service was excellent, the server was kind and very pro. The atmosphere is that of the whole area, very good. Not cheap but worth the money

I have visited this place several times a few years ago and was happy to return again. It has become a much larger place, taking over a few of the places next door. The design is still very hipster, 70s vibe, eclectic and lovely. Very popular among the tourists around the glee market. The food is also still very tasty, but they did raise the rates quite a bit and for some of the dishes I do think the value for money is not great.

The food wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t good enough. I’m not a gourmet or particularly picky, but honestly, it was very average. I ordered a Budweiser, and the waiter didn’t even offer to open or pour it. As for the prices — they were definitely higher than they should have been

We went on our first night in Tel Aviv after having done some research and following Puaa on Instagram. Wow! Amazing food, great atmosphere, and all the girls working there were so nice! We'll be back to try the breakfast menu for sure!

Unfriendly, rude and not helpful the hostess, the food was nice a bit salty; the dessert (tapioca) was great. the atmosphere was ok, I was seated under vent air conditioning and was dripping over me, and then I asked for another table.

We had a breakfast here and we enjoyed it. Nice spot in old Jaffa. We ordered Shakshuka and an scrambled eggs, they serve it with bread, vegetable salat and humus, all very tasty. You cal also just have a seat and enjoy your coffee. Really nice place, in case we are backnin Tel Aviv we will visit this place again.

A place with very simple food but extremely high and pretentious prices — definitely not worth a visit. We had a very modest dinner consisting of one slice of bread with a spoonful of egg salad, a quarter of a baked cabbage on labneh, and drank a glass of soda and a glass of sangria. For all of that, we paid 180 shekels. It’s absurd and completely unjustified. We also didn’t find the flavors impressive. In short, anyone with good sense should steer clear — it’s a shame that this is what it looks like up close.
