Cafe Van Gogh

Another delicious roast at Cafe Van Gogh! I can’t recommend this place enough - the food, the staff, the cafe itself and of course their brilliant social mission! The Sunday roast is my favourite, but with a seasonal menu, there’s always something new and delicious to try.

Cute cafe. I’ve only ordered a latte here, but it was good. The wait staff was nice. The server says it was okay for me to sit at their table (during peak lunch hours) even though I plan to only have a cup of coffee. She was nice and helpful. I went upstairs to enjoy my cup of perfectly made latte. In the spring, the garden out back will be opened. I highly recommend visiting this place when you are in the area.

Excellent service, food and decor at the cafe. Would highly recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike. Both the mains and the specials were incredible.

This is like a warm hug, like going to your best friend’s house and leaving with a full belly and a full heart. You will probably be given plants or cuttings if you’re into plants, as the venue is dripping with plants and the owner is so generous. The staff are genuinely lovely, super friendly and always up for a chat. The food is divine, especially the cakes! I’m not vegan but genuinely this is just yummy. I couldn’t recommend more!

This place is an absolute gem. We had Sunday roast, by far the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and the staff were so lovely. Reasonable prices and everything at their ethos is about kindness and community. I’d highly recommend for an intimate place to have a lovely relaxed meal

A cute vegan cafe in South London - went in for coffee and some small bites but offers much more substantial choices. Choice of soy or oat milk for your teas or coffees. Asparagus and mushrooms were nice but wished the portions were slightly bigger.

I went out of my way to visit twice in the short space of time I had in London. An ethical business that does good for both the local and wider community, but the food and service goes punch for punch with anywhere. The atmosphere is particularly enjoyable, it's a beautiful cafe with good music and gregarious staff. All vegan, the pancakes with bacon were the highlight for me. Value for money makes it perfect for anyone watching spending. Oh and excellent coffee, too.

Me and my partner went to Cafe Van Gogh while staying in the Lambeth area during a trip to London and absolutely loved our experience. We were sat upstairs in the adorably cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant and received consistently warm and welcoming service. Neither of us are vegans but can genuinely say this was one of the best meals we had on our last months trip throughout Europe. We had the blueberry pancakes which were delicious and fresh and the tomato rosemary sausage roll was flakey and flavorful. Another must have is the chipotle aioli served with a side of crispy garlic roasted potatoes. Everything was so good we went back the following day and took breakfast to go which was just as tasteful as eating in. We can not recommend Cafe Van Gogh enough and are very much looking forward to visiting again on our next trip!!
