"One of downtown’s most luxurious hotels has consistently delivered culinary excellence from floor to ceiling: after charming visitors and locals alike at the Eater Award-winning lobby restaurant, Yolan, and the quaint rooftop bar, Denim, the team unveiled a new brunch service at its swanky coffee bar, Café Yolan. The “duets” menu pairs one dish each from its sweet and savory categories — think pancakes and blueberry cheesecake French toast on the sweet side and risotto alla carbonara and corned beef hash on the savory — for $32 a plate. Be sure to pay a visit to the Aperol Spritz and mimosa cart while you’re there." - Kellie Walton

Found this place on a Google search. I was looking for Korean toast breakfast sandwiches. Well didn’t find Korean toast. However I was pleasantly surprised. The cafe Yolan breakfast sandwich was really delicious. The sausage was flavorful and juicy. The everything bagel was perfectly seasoned. The caramelized onions were perfect on that breakfast sandwich. The atmosphere was nice. And if you’re like me and you read all the other reviews, you saw where everyone brags about the server named Faith? Well they didn’t lie. She was our server for breakfast on a Wednesday morning and she was just as amazing as everyone said she was. Super warm and friendly personality. She felt like an old friend by the end of the meal. I would absolutely go back for the delicious food and to visit Faith our fabulous server.

Café Yolan located in Nashville, Tennessee was a breakfast spot we found to start off the new year! We ordered the Avocado Toast, Biscuits and Gravy, and Eggs Benedict. The avocado toast was a good portion served with a poached egg and as expected while we felt that the biscuit in the Biscuits & Gravy was too thick and dry, almost like a flour taste. Unfortunately, for the Eggs Benedicts, we felt that the English muffin and the Canadian bacon were too stiff. The overall fan favorite were the side potatoes as they had the perfect crunch. A positive across the table was the excellent customer service that was provided by the host and the server at @yolannashville (IG). They lifted the spirits of the atmosphere and were very welcoming!

Myself and four of my girlfriends came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. We had reservations so I can’t speak on the wait, we were seated immediately. The restaurant is located next to a coffee bar and the hotel bar, it’s open, airy and not pretentious. It was hard to decide what to order, the menu selections all sounded so good! Ultimately, I went with their brunch (select two) option - I ordered the short braised hash and pumpkin French toast. 10/10 would recommend! The pumpkin French toast was flaky and and the flavor was out of this world. The toppings on the French toast were so, so good! The short braised hash was equally delicious, the potatoes were crispy and the egg on top cooked perfectly. I also ordered an espresso martini and as a PNW girl, I feel like I can say this with confidence - one of the best I’ve ever had! The real star of the show though? Our server Faith! She made our entire experience a delight, and I can’t speak highly enough of her customer service and competency. This place is lucky to have her, I’d come back just for her alone!

Absolutely stellar service at The Joseph's breakfast spot in downtown Nashville! I had the pleasure of being served by Faith, and she truly made my morning unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, her warm and welcoming energy made us feel like we were visiting an old friend. Faith’s attentiveness and friendly demeanor were above and beyond what I expected. It was clear that she takes great pride in her work—her recommendations were spot-on, and she made sure every detail was perfect. I learned that Faith is originally from Kenya, and her genuine care for others shines through in everything she does. Whether it was a friendly chat or the way she anticipated our needs, she created an experience that felt both personal and professional. Faith exemplifies what excellent customer service is all about—attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. She made our breakfast experience one of the highlights of our day (and we had a good day). If you’re lucky enough to have her serve you, you’re in for a treat! Highly recommend the eggs Benedict.

Faith was amazing. We have friends in our group with dairy and gluten allergies, she made sure everything was perfect! Our orders were pretty specific and everything was exactly how we requested! Thank you! We also loved that the chef came out personally and confirmed the eggs weren’t made with dairy. Honestly, Faith has been the best service we’ve had this entire trip so far! :)

The atmosphere is ritzy, classic, and professional. You can look through glass to see the cooks making your food which is pretty cool. Our waitress was super sweet and asked about what we were gonna do in Nash for the bachelorette and gave us recommendations. The food was pretty good for brunch and the bacon was thick and scrumptious. They had mini preserves/marmalade for the toast as well as cute coffee mugs when you order coffee. She even gave the bride free mini chocolates which she loved!

Hours need updating, we drove all the way over here, paid for parking to go to Cafe Yolan 2 hours before the listed closing time and it was already closed.

Yelp
Recently visited for lunch, some things were excellent, some were very sub-par, which is why I settled on a rating of 3. Positives: - The smash burger was excellent. The burger was well seasoned and well cooked, and the garlic aioli was excellent. - Loved the fries, perfectly crispy and perfectly seasoned. Negatives: - Tried to order the salmon entree, and they didn't have salmon that day. OK, that happens, but considering there are only 3 options for lunch entrees, I would have expected them to replace it with a third option, preferably a different fish, or at least a chicken dish. The best they could offer was, we can add some chicken to a caesar salad. - So I ordered the roasted pork sandwich. I was expecting something like a porchetta (really well seasoned roasted pork) since the restaurant leans Italian. Instead what I got was *incredibly* bland, thinly sliced pork. - The sandwich comes with "wilted greens", which in this case meant undressed, unseasoned greens that literally looked like they had wilted because they were sitting out too long. - And that was it - no sauce, no nothing. It came with a bland jus to dip your sandwich in, but since it was so bland it essentially just made the sandwich soggy and yet it still somehow ate really dry. - After lunch I looked at the menu again to check the description of the sandwich, and it was supposed to have come with caciocavallo (which I believe is a type of cheese), but my sandwich didn't have that. It likely would have given the sandwich more flavor, but I don't know if it would have made the sandwich any less dry. So would I go back? If I lived in the area, I might give it another try just because the burger and fries were so good. But if I travel to Nashville again, I don't think I would risk it. Nashville has a lot of great restaurants, and I wouldn't want to risk one of my meals being as bad as that pork sandwich.
