Waited an hour for my $16 mediocre pesto sandwich. They served it without utensils for the salad it comes with. I had to go up to ask for a fork AND napkins after waiting an hour. The woman working literally just dropped the plate of food with nothing else even though I was dining in. They didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience or even apologize for the wait. It was not crowded. I noticed the woman working checking in on other tables, asking how they’re doing but she didn’t check on me even once. In this case, it feels worth mentioning that I’m a Black woman. I won’t be back.

Great local coffee shop. The owners are very kind. The cold brew, coffee, fresh ok, and matcha tea all super delicious and very affordable. I highly recommend if you want a very relaxed vibe and delicious caffeine in your life.

It’s a cute quaint cafe! You get what you pay for! Friendly staff! Coffee is delicious and strong! We ordered breakfast and it was delicious.

We had The Ultimate Crossisant and Smoked Bagel — both were delicious!

The coffee was decent, but the lid was leaky. Seems to be a common issue with these particular lids - they should really be taken out of circulation before they ruin anymore clothes.

came with my wife for our honeymoon to hollywood. food was phenomenal & the staff were very friendly. great selection of desserts here too. we had an amazing valentines day.

Probably one of the best places in the immediate area for espresso drinks. A bit overpriced, but to be expected considering it's in the middle of the tourist area. Food is tasty, but not noteworthy. Only main concern i have is the lack of size options for iced drinks.

UPDATE: Initially, I had given the post 5 stars (see post at bottom). I went back to the shop a couple days later, and was completely flabbergasted at my experience. I had a really unpleasant experience with the owner, asking me to get up from my seat so she could spend time talking to her husband, when their was clearly more than enough space for us all to enjoy the area. But the most important reason on changing my rating: THEY LET THE DOG BEHIND THE COUNTER!! Multiple times. 🤢 You can see from the picture it looks like the type of dog that sheds too. But thats not even the worse part - IT WENT BACK INTO THE KITCHEN!! I saw the cook bend down and talk with it when it came in (couldn't verify if the cook actually made contact with it). The picture shows one of the many times the dog was coming out of the kitchen. There is no reason an animal needs to be behind the counter, where food and drink items are being prepared. To assume that it's ok because 'it's just a dog' or something of the sort is completely unacceptable. The owner seemed like a full able-bodied individual - this was not a guide dog, etc. Thats why I dropped it to one star. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . REALLY GOOD COFFEE!! I’m usually just a Starbucks kinda person, but I throughly enjoyed the Vanilla Latte I had. Friendly staff too! I also ordered the pancake eggs and Turkey bacon - it was just ok. Not great, not bad.. just regular. I definitely recommend trying the coffee though.

This morning came upon this lovely quant Cafe. Caffe Etc. The menu has a wide variety for Breakfast & Lunch with a twist of style on burritos with a green homemade spicy Delicious Salsa & tamales. You will quite a variety of Lunch Sandwiches. The coffee drinks are delicious. The Girls on staff were very efficient & helpful introducing menu Items. This place is the go-to place any morning or afternoon. Ten Stars

Can't agree more with the one stars reviews!!! The owners at this location makes the definition of rude an understatement! We will never be back. The service is horrendous!! The owners are the absolute worst! They are definitely not service based at all! They are miserable people clearly taking their frustration out on their customers. It's no wonder the place is always dead! Save your time and money from buying overpriced and mediocre food and coffee. The signs say "coffee to wake the dead" ... well clearly their coffee can't wake their dead hospitality.

The Cubano macchiato and the chai latte were very good. The food was simple but tasty. The service was exceptional. These people went above and beyond to be gracious. The bathroom was incredibly clean and even smelled good. Did not intend to eat here but had time to kill before a tour and was glad we stopped in.

Oh boy! Who's ready for a story? To begin, if I can give this place a slogan it would be: "Welcome to Caffe Etc, where we think we're better than you & will also act like high schoolers and lie to your face about trivial things then talk badly about you behind your back" Well actually.. I should specify the slogan only applies to the owner :/ The employees were all super nice! And scared of the owner. Ha K. Now that I dropped some context clues towards the big punchline, let's get back to the story! So I go to the Hollywood Farmers Market every Sunday and Etc is right at the corner so I popped my head in to try. Decided to give this red velvet brownie a go and WOW was it Amazing!!! That said, a week goes by & I stop in again but no brownie, no biggie. So I ask the owner (frail lady with snobby demeanor. I believe with glasses... And I can't remember but she gave off European vibes. You'll know who I'm speaking about when you spot her) SO I ask owner: when brownie? And owner says the local bakery store who makes it had a power outage. But she'll put in an order JUST FOR ME for next Sunday!! Awwwww so sweet. (See what I did there.... Cuz it's a brownie) So next Sunday comes and no brownie only frowny =( So I check in with my frail friend and ask her if she remembered and she said of course! :0 But still power outage!! Oh.... Um k. So I ask her to please order again for me. A week goes by. And you gotta be caking me!! No brownie :'( Soo... I ask her employee to check in with owner boss lady on what the deal is. And HERE WE GOOOOOO..... Both employees working see boss lady in flirty convo with handsome Actor man. And don't want to interrupt. Always remember kids... Boss Rizz OVER Customer Biz Lol So I'm just like okay I didn't want to judge this woman these past few weeks, and have faith. But even your own employees are fearing you. SO LET ME GO SAY HI!!! I politely do the "sorry to interrupt" bit and ask of the long lost brownie. THEN: She Reallyyyyy says STILL power outage from that store she gets it from!!!!!!!! Yikes... OK... at this point it was 90% clear in my eyes she was making up such a stupid lie. And just is a Bad Boss Baby. No cookie no closer! Dang I wish the story was about a cookie instead of a brownie, that would've been funnier. Oh well... That's the way the brownie crumbles... Anyways since I caught a small crowds attention with my charismatic well articulated super humble voice (ha) I look her in the eyes like a cop and ask for the name of her dealer. So unfortunately for her, she'd look bad if she lied. And caved into my big brownie energy and told me the truth: "Delicious on highland. But I don't know how it's spelled." That's okay my friend! You gave me more than enough info to finish my Scooby Doo investigation. Here's the place everyone: "Deluscious Cookies & Milk" Please go and support them! I spoke with the owner today and he's super cool. And that talk also lead me to writing this review because... THE OWNER CONFIRMED THERE WAS NO POWER OUTAGE. EVER!!!! This lady just hasn't ordered from him in well over a month. (Which is a little bit disturbing considering I had that brownie 3 weeks prior. Meaning, it was still a few weeks old and still the best brownie I ever had in my life!!!!! Lol) Lastly, just to add insult to injury, I also want to mention how as I politely said thank you on my as I walked out; I could hear her beginning to talk smack about me. Like what the heck. Sadly I only was able to make out 1 or 2 words... if I was a little bit closer & heard the full insult I would've turned around and went full Mega Karen Level 100 maxed out XP. So perhaps for the best.. Oh and for the record I conveyed this entire story to the owner of Deluscious. And let's just say he didn't act surprised. Also said he'd give you a call later Boss Lady! Rude and elitist. They shamed my child and another parent. Not worth the mediocre coffee.

The atmosphere was very weird when I walked in. The owners (didn't realize they were the owners until later in my stay) didn't smile or greet me when I entered. My server was friendly enough, but the restaurant wasn't welcoming. Additionally, the food was average and didn't justify a second visit.

This place is absolutely terrible! I ordered a grilled cheese for my son and a nutella and banana sandwich. It took 30 minutes and was nearly thirty dollars. Food was burned to a crisp. Tasted like charcoal, Even though somehow my son's cheese wasn't even melted. Other customers we complaining about how long their food took too. Lots of people complaining about their drinks. Just go to Trejos cantina across the street or one of the other places there Stay Away!

Whenever I visit a new place, I explore as many breakfast/coffee places as I can and don't ever go to the same place twice... This time around I just couldn't help but to come back every single day I spent in LA. Costumer service is above and beyond, and they really make the effort to accommodate you in every way. The staff will make sure you satisfy your cravings! Coffee is a solid 10/10

I really appreciate that they took my allergies seriously. I have a bad soy allergy among other things and have to be mindful when using certain sweeteners. The girl making my drink went as far as to double check the labels for me to be sure she wasn't going to make me sick. I really appreciate it as I'm having a flare up from eating something I was allergic to yesterday and couldn't arrows to eat another thing I'm allergic to! They also have breve lattes which I love!

What a wonderful local business to support in Hollywood. Fist and foremost the coffee is the BEST in LA. I love it so much I purchase by the pound and prepare at home. The baked goods are deelish and the empanadas are a weekly purchase for our household. I highly recommend this spot as a personal fave of mine. Viviana, the owner, is genuine and really appreciates each and every one of her customers! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The food is good, service is fine, but the most interesting thing about the place is they have a vinyl record collection that customers can browse through and request to have played while eating. You have to ask them to remove the record you want--they are very protective of the collection, but they will play what is requested. Most impressive in the collection was a live Big Star album recorded from a concert broadcast on radio station WLIR. I was stunned to come across it. I expect it would be worth a lot monetarily.

First of all, we went during LA Pride as the parade was about to pass by this location. So it was very busy. The line was out the door and the staff was hustling! But they were still talking to customers, walking by the tables to make sure they were clean, and their stride was great. That said, the menu was pretty large, with lots of options for food, snacks, and well- COFFEE. I ordered their cold brew since I wasn't feeling like having a milk based drink. And wow. I was blown away. Having worked at some coffee shops before, and making it a point to try local coffee places whenever we travel, this was by far the BEST cold brew I had ever had. Smooth. Chocolatey. Ice cold. You could taste the notes of the chocolate. You could feel the caffeine kick it almost immediately. Being that it was Hollywood, the price was on par to other coffee shops I've been to. I would definitely have it again if I'm in the area. My friend ordered an iced americano (espresso shots with water), and that too was amazing! I don't know what kind of coffee beans they used, but his Americano was also one of the most rich and flavorful drinks I've ever had. I made it a Point to express my satisfaction to the staff and who I think may be the manager/owner. But they're were so busy! I walked up to the hand off station to make my comment, and they all looked defeated. When I mentioned how amazing my beverage was, the smile the worker gave me (and the thank you they gave me) hopefully made their day a little better. Keep up the good work y'all. The coffee is amazing. The snacks we got too, but I wanted to empathize the excellence of the coffee. I just wish I had a photo to share!

The owners are horrible!! There is a Farmers Market today, so I went in to Grab a coffee while my family waited outside. As I was about to order the owner began Lecturing me on what I needed to order for my family I said they are just waiting for me I'm getting a coffee ? She was complaining about people from the farmers market , I said Excuse me I just want to order a coffee she seemed very mad . One of the employees rang me out, after I got my coffee the husband was yelling Profanities & other Gibberish he followed me out. I turned around & he was recording me like a crazy person he stated I couldn't be standing on the sidewalk and continue to harass me. Hostile environment , their comments were racist & just straight up crazy!!! 100% sure they will be out of business in no time Well I Guess have a great 4th of July

Stopped at this place due to its convenient location, Overpriced: panini and latte 28$ ... There's no vibe really, no style either. Looks like a business that was bought and switched into this place... Their target custommers are probably tourists looking for a coffee and who are ok to pay crazy prices.

Overpriced, not the best service.. Definitely prone to buyers remorse. Stopped by this place thinking I could get a decent coffee and breakfast, purchased the cold brew and when it was given to me i was put off by the almond milk added. Very jelly, did not sink into drink like other customer's cold brews. I also purchased a breakfast burrito which came with assorted fruit. The burrito wasn't appealing at all and it didn't help that upon eating the very skimpy helping of fruit, I found a hair. What makes it all even more disappointing is that I tipped, all while receiving very dry and uninspired customer service.

Poor customer service. The girls working were rude as hell. They were rude to us from the moment we entered til we spilled a drink with their flimsy cups and poorly closed lid. We tried to help clean the mess but they just pushed us aside. Coffee was terrible. Go down to groundwork down the street instead of here where they treat you like trash.

In my opinion I liked it, paninis are delicious and the coffee I would die for, I read all the comments and they seem kinda harsh? everyone has an opinion!! But I recommend it if you want a 20 something dollar panini.... Will definitely go back!

The food here is bland and the owners were rude and Judges their customer. DO NOT give them Your money. You guys should not be allowed to to have a business when you treat people horribly.

Went to Café etc. to get a quick sandwich on our way to our hotel. The owner was rude and as I'm concerned as you can be for a customer. I literally pulled a brush out of my purse while trying to move some thing because I had a small purse, and she immediately asked me if I needed the restroom. I said no she told me she didn't want me brushing my hair in her restaurant. I wasn't even going to do that. Don't go there.

Let me start of by saying the British Owner of this restaurant is hella rude. Now I am reading reviews and it doesn't surprise me that she is RACIST. I have eaten here before and have never encountered the owner until today. I got on a quick zoom call and the owner approaches me and kicks me out cause she says i'm too loud. Hey witch , i was about to buy food, heard your loud mouth too and I have seen dogs in there behind a kitchen (assuming they are yours) at a restaurant all the time where food is being served. How do you boss your patrons and kick them out cause your meeting is much important than a customer? Learn customer service if you're gonna have a business. Don't support this business. My friends warned me about the owner and WOW were they right. Zero Stars!

If you want to be JUDGED & CRITICIZED based on looks (clothing, race/ethnicity) this is your place! Yesterday (Sunday), my sister walked into the cafe & asked for the restroom. The person behind the counter looked at her from head to toe & asked if she was from the farmer's market. My sister said she was (she WAS NOT, but wanted to see a reaction from the clerk), and the person turned her away. // We were in the area, and my sister was in the cafe to make a 9-drink order, but needed to use the restroom. It is incredibly rude & degrading to look at someone and judge & criticize them based on what they look like or are wearing. This is such a horrible & toxic environment and will never come back.

IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD! We received terrible service from this coffee shop. The owner asked us to move all the way at the back by the entrance door. The owner had a bad attitude and meanly stared at me and my friend through out our stay in the shop. The breakfast burrito was very small and tasted bad.

Solid 3-stars. I spied the bottled, Smart and Final-quality syrups, and stuck with a couple basic drinks. I liked the roast here a lot more than the espresso from Verve, though I didn't dare get a straight shot here. I had a Cortado and Cubano, which had a bit of brown sugar. That drink finished very nicely, with a lot of sweetness haha. The Cortado was very good! The milk was of decent quality too. Overall, a nice place to stop (mostly because I didn't know Intelligentsia is a block away, and I LOVE their coffee). Pros: - eclectic, creative drink menu Cons: - not much ambience - Torani syrups

My friend and I were looking for a place for a quick bite so we stopped by since there was no wait. They have breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, wraps, paninis, omelettes, and an expresso bar. I got the Chiptole Panini ($15) which comes with chicken, tomato, roasted bell pepper, parmesan cheese and garlic aioli. My friend got the Turkey Avocado Wrap ($15) which comes with tomato, baby greens, swiss cheese and olive spread. Both of these items came with a side of salad. The taste was mediocre and definitely not worth the money. The panini and the wrap tasted dried. Food is overpriced. I also got a White Mocha ($5) and my friend got a Vanilla Latte ($5). These coffee were average, but wasn't sweet enough for me. Overall, we paid $20+ for our meals but wasn't satisfied. Customer service was good. The guy at the front was really nice and friendly. Our food came out fast but I wouldn't come back.

Basic, so basic . This is the kind of place that makes me stay home and cook for myself. Basic bland - I just had the veggie omelet and a decaf espresso - my mouth is completely unsatisfied. Youd think a pesto feta omelette with veggies would be super tasty. You'd be wrong . I feel like I haven't eaten. The fruit in the plate was the only good thing about it. Omelette was rubbery and kinda crispy on the outside. Just no flavor, nothing put into it , no zest no yumminess. Ugh it's such a drag. There's all this rock n roll memorabilia t shirts and hats - looks cool - but they don't play music. I even asked and they still didn't. It was just lame. People need to step it up - yr in Hollywood try to make it special.

Legitimately one of my favorite spots in Hollywood. Low key atmosphere. The owners and their dog Ruby are kind and welcoming. I've bought a vintage 70s ball cap from their collection once or twice too. Special place.

Conveniently located near the touristy part of Hollywood and boutique hotels, Caffe etc. is great place for coffee and a light breakfast. Friendly staff, clean restroom, excellent coffee. However, just like the rest of post-pandemic LA, prices are on the high side. My little breakfast with turkey bacon, two small pancakes, and eggs, set me back about $15. I realize this is not out of the norm for LA. Still, if you're on a budget... Since a lot of the boutique hotels don't offer breakfast, and many don't have microwaves in the room, this may be your best bet for a latte and quick breakfast. Service was faster than I expected and my order was perfectly cooked.

This place is the product of starting a business with unrealistic expectations and very little planning. The first thing I noticed upon walking in was the first item on the menu that hung on the wall behind the register: "1. Toasted Bread: Two slices of bread with butter and jam - $6.95" When I walked up to the register I asked "is that literally just 2 pieces of bread?" The woman at the register answered "yes" with a straight face that conveyed annoyance. I asked again "like....just...two regular pieces of bread? For seven dollars?" She answered with a simple "yes" once more, but this time her poker face slipped as I immediately laughed, unable to pretend that $7 dollars for 2 slices of bread was completely normal. Not wanting to be a complete jerk, I ordered the egg white burrito...for $16.95. I figured I might as well try to see if I was just being presumptuous about the price. Maybe the ingredients and the seasoning were amazing...? With just a cold brew and the burrito, the total came to $26.00 after leaving a %15 tip. The egg white burrito came out with just a little dab of sauce, only enough to last for half of the burrito. Once the sauce ran out, I started to eat the burrito plain, and realized how bland and flavorless it was. I thought about asking for more sauce, but I just knew they would charge like, $3.00 or something ridiculous for just another dab. Most restaurants, you know, put a sauce bottle on the table and leave simple condiments to the customer's discretion...? Not this one. Once you finish the little cap full they give you, that's it. The ingredients were decent...I think? There was just no flavor in that thing, and the size/serving was hilariously small for the most basic burrito you will ever eat for $17.00. The audacity to charge $7.00 for a 2 REGULAR slices of bread, and $17.00 for a burrito anyone can make at home all point to a business owner that needs a reality check. I somehow think this place is some social experiment or a prank, because no way in HELL is someone in their right mind charging SEVEN DOLLARS FOR TWO PIECES OF PLAIN GROCERY STORE BREAD... Perhaps they think that those prices are something they could get away with in that area, but...no. Ma'am, even rich people have standards. No ambience, no vibes. You want to leave immediately upon finishing. Overpriced food that is so MID that it actually hurts to see the charge pop up on your credit card...this is what happens when an amateur with no business experience thinks they can just...start one, with no planning, thinking that they can just swindle people. It's safe to say this place won't be here long. Hopefully it will be replaced by a restaurant that doesn't suck.

Took my friend Suneerat from Thailand to visit the cafe in the heart of Hollywood, and she was blown away. The mozzarella and tomato omelette, the delicious strawberry and banana smoothie, and cappuccino - amazingly prepared, with great taste. And it tastes great! Organic ingredients, coffee that is not available anywhere else - the excellence shines through. Highly recommended by me, and Thailand. Proprietors Viviana and Brian Pollack are kindly hosts.

I really dislike giving bad reviews. I know one day I might own my own business but this person made it very obvious they don't care about reviews or ratings. Me and my buddy walked in today for coffee and breakfast. We were asked immediately what we wanted to drink? I responded by saying I was interested in breakfast. She rolled her eyes and was aleady annoyed. My buddy who has an accent asked if he could sit down on a table while we wait. Her response was are you from California? Very rude and unprofessional. While waiting for our orders I accidentally spilled some coffee on the counter. We asked for some napkins to clean up the spill. She give us 1 napkin and started talking under her breath. I asked her what was her problem? She stated we should of been more careful. She grabbed a rag and told us to stay away from the counter while we wait for our food. My buddy asked her if she was the owner of the establishment? She replied YES. We were amazed how a person like this would ever stay open. I'm going to do my best not to let this lady was extremely bad energy ruin my day.

Just ordered from this establishment and can say that the older manager/employee needs an attitude adjustment. Had to return an item because the yogurt actually was warm and tasted sour. Did NOT receive a refund for the $11 parfait but was given a bagel with a tube of cream cheese and a generous side of grumpiness. While the coffees are delicious, the food seems to be lacking today. It's disappointing that service is below par today. I can not recommend any fellow patrons to this establishment. Maybe it was an "off" day - but I can't pass up leaving this review. Skip this place.

Love coming here for quality coffee and real artisan dishes. I take breakfast seriously, and I have loved coming here for many years more than almost all spots in Hollywood.

First, I'll start by saying hell no! Lol. My wife and I regularly visit the Farmer's Market on Sundays. My wife is kind-hearted and loves supporting small businesses, which is why I even bother to go to this place. We've visited this place at least 10 times and each time I've gotten the stares from the owner the other reviews here are talking about, but never anything more (yeah that's real--lol). Well, today was different. We went in with our sixth-month-old baby to order coffee to eat with our breakfast we'd bought at the Farmer's Market, and the owner literally stared us down and waited till we'd placed our order and begin to pay to tell us that they have a policy of not allowing outside food in their shop. Huh? I should've known better since as we we're walking up, we were talking about how the worst thing about her business is her. When she informed us of their "policy," I proceeded to cancel the transaction and leave. Apparently, her business doesn't need the support from the Farmer's Market crowd. She's definitely not getting my $20, I strongly suggest she not get anyone else's either.

This place is the best!! The best sandwiches and oatmeal and coffee's. The owner is very sweet and loved when I told her the Uber driver recommended this spot. Right on the corner so you can watch all the action up and down the street. Great location to just chill and have a great cup of any coffee you like.

Charge u to pay with a card, also I ordered something that came with toast and jam wasn't included, asked for jam, they tried to charge me $1.50 for a TB of jam? Rediculous. Also had the worst unseasoned breakfast sandwich ever here a while ago. Don't waste your time.

Randomly stumbled upon this place and glad that I did. It's the perfect little spot to grab a quick bite. They have a pretty extensive menu of both drinks and food, so you're bound to find something to enjoy. I got the Herb Chicken salad... hella bomb. The chicken was well seasoned, which I'm super appreciative of and the lemon dressing was the right touch of the light, vinegary taste that I like. The ladies at the counter were really nice and more than willing to explain different items on the menu. I'd definitely come here again!

I came here about 2 years ago and was thoroughly unamused with the coffee I got. I was in Hollywood today and decided to give them another chance because I do like to support small businesses. I've just struggling to find parking and finding it after about 10 minutes I walked to the store and the door was locked. I went to the side and the door was unlocked so I opened it just thinking that was the right front door. The woman working politely told me that they had close, I was confused since online said they didn't close till 9 and it was 1:45 PM she said that depending on how Busy it is that day depends if they close early or not. There was no note on the door or anything like that so she didn't tell me I would never have known. I went out of my way to give this coffee shop another chance and they still disappointed very much. Will never come back.

Yes, it is a bit overpriced here, especially considering that most- if not all- of the coffee additives like the caramel and chocolate syrups are something you could buy at Smart & Final. The coffee itself also isn't the best you can find in this area, especially with Groundwork right down the street at slightly-lower prices. What they do have going for them is that their "Signatures" menu does have a lot of different sweet coffee options like the Blanco y Negro which is a dark & white chocolate mixed latte, or the Buenos Aires which has caramel and chocolate syrup in there with your choice of regular or alternative milk. The ones made with condensed milks seem to be the favorites, though, but that's where the sugar really starts to pile on, and if you live and work in Hollywood, you may or may not be worried about that waistline. Also, this is essentially a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and you can get that anywhere. They have several pastries, sandwiches, and even gelato as well, so while this may not be the biggest find on your foodie list, if you happen to already be in the area and haven't had your coffee, there are worse places to get your java kick from. The service is okay; lukewarm, at best. But the place does have a certain "worldly" flair that makes it almost cozy. Just be mindful of that ridiculous parking sitch that Hollywood is notorious for.

My god, their tamales are insanely good! I had their mole tamales, and their spinach empanadas -- if there's anything to rave for, its their tamales and their customer service; treated like a king/queen here. My wife and I stopped by as we were an hour early for Tao, the lady who was there helped us select food, brought us the food, drinks, and provided great customer service. Restrooms are for paid customers only, so they were nice and clean. P.S They have gluten and vegas third party snacks available, also delicious. If there is a recommendation to the business, I suggest flossing your name within the location, I was enjoying it so much and tried figuring out exactly what the name was until I seen it on the window. I think it should be near the menu etc, because this place can't be forgotten, so good!

I work across the street. Usually in the mornings and every time I try to get something before my shift they are closed. How is a coffee shop closed in the mornings? And FREQUENTLY

This place is absolutely amazingggg!!! There was an employee named Yulia who helped my friends and I and she was soooo sweet! She recommended me their cold brew with vanilla and wow!!! Their cold brew is amazinggg!!! Thank you yulia for being so sweet and helpful!!!

Coffee is good. Skip the rest. Overpriced and what you get is on par w airport food. But, hey, if that's your thing then knock yourself out. Minus one star for sour service from who I think is the owner behind the register.

My family and I wanted to stop for some coffee as we were walking around the farmers market. My siblings and I were waiting outside for our mother as she ordered our drinks, We sat on the chairs that were outside just for a bit planning on leaving as soon as we got what we ordered. But I then see the owner yelling at my mother through the window and I got very confused and concerned, my mother then comes out with 1 coffee due to the fact that the lady was demanding my mother and telling her what she can and what she can't order. My mother walks out and I see the other owner following my mother and recording her out of the store, he proceeded to yelling disrespectful, vigorous, profanitys, and racial words to my mother.

I have been going to this place for years--first because when I was pregnant I craved their veggie wrap with basil sauce (SO GOOD) and later because their coffee is truly the best. The service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is sunny and lovely. And they have the best selection of salads and sandwiches in town. ALSO, this weekend I stopped by to get a pound of espresso for my new espresso machine, and the owner, Viviana, spent 10 minutes clearly and simply explaining how to use my new machine to make the best espresso--and it really worked!!! I achieved an incredible espresso and her explanation (and beans) made all the difference! This is what a neighborhood cafe should be.

Wish I could rate it lower. Incredibly rude service from an obviously racist owner, who then came over to our table to make further snide comments to us, while we tried to drink their awful coffee. Viviana is the owner's name, and she apparently has a history of being callous and even downright cruel to anyone who isn't white. All I know for sure is that she is complete garbage at hospitality and should be out of business. There are plenty of welcoming cafes in Hollywood -- ones that make much, much better coffee! Just avoid this pit at all costs.

There was no way to post a review with no stars. Came in and the person behind the counter was busy with another customer so I figured we'd just wait a bit. We waited, no acknowledgement. We stood in line, no acknowledgement. She continued to speak to the other customer, so we left.
