Everyone here is so kind and sweet. Love their veggie options and they’re so so flexible with add ons! I didn’t like their Nutella shake as much but otherwise everything was great. Love this spot for breakfast or brunch. I had the veggie mushroom sandwich which was very flavourful and delicious! Beautiful ambience and a great spot for dates and for meeting friends. Not a coffee lover but my husband said their Turkish coffee was amazing! Will visit again for sure!

Excellent lunch visit. Sandwiches (Philly and Chicken Arugula) were awesome and Turkish coffee was excellent as well. Would recommend if in area it is a short walk from children's hospital

Caffé Mona is an absolute gem in Pittsburgh! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a cozy European café. The food and coffee are top-notch! If you’re looking for a fantastic brunch spot in Pittsburgh, Caffé Mona is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

A Morning Surprise at Caffe Mona La Bistro On a Wednesday morn, with my heart in a whirl, At the children’s hospital with my sweet baby girl— The weight of the world pressed quiet and deep, Till I found a small café that made my soul leap. Caffe Mona, a treasure tucked sweetly away, A haven of comfort to brighten my day. I wandered inside, drawn by scents in the air, Not knowing that glory awaited me there. The “Elvis” they said—French toast like a dream, Two croissants so golden, like stars in whipped cream. Egg-battered beauties, cooked to delight, A breakfast creation that set my soul right. Peanut butter and bacon in perfect embrace, Bananas and syrup danced all over the place. With powdered sugar, a heavenly snow, And maple that whispered, “Just let yourself go.” Each bite was a blessing, a rich symphony, Of sweet and of savory, pure harmony. I sat in that moment, no worries, no care— Just buttery joy and love in the air. To the staff and the chef, my heartfelt salute, For turning my day from heavy to sweet fruit. Caffe Mona, you’re more than a meal— You’re a memory, a comfort, a place that can heal.

Busy little place. Stood in line a long time....thinking we were waiting to be seated. No! The people in front of us did not really know. So, i stepped up. Made an introduction and asked if we could be seated? I was promptly told, " Come on in and seat yourself!" I turned around and looked back at the line and motioned for my lovely wife to come forward. She looked bewildered, and i walked on and got the pick of multiple tables for two. Sat down, and she happily joined me as did the people who were in front of us. There are lots of nick-knacks on the walls and open-air seating in the back that you really can not see from the front. Got the drinks quickly, but the main brunch meal took a long time to get to our table. Despite the length of time, the omelet was hot, tasted good, and ate it with a small slice of a weird rye bread that was only toasted/grilled on one side. Tasty! Grandma's 🥞 pancakes, 4 total, were more like a desert and NOT really lite and fluffy. Ate some of that and got it to go. Nice little place......and it was open on Labor Day 2024, so 👌.

Google
I had a delightful and delicious brunch here. The service is exceptionally fast, the food arrived within minutes of my order, and my order was taken almost immediately upon sitting down. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, filled with off the wall and on the wall art, the staff is delightful, and because this is kind of a neighborhood restaurant, you'll meet all sorts of interesting people. It's possible to eat quietly but it is also possible to talk to the people sitting next to you. And of course, the food was delicious!

We had a breakfast over there and liked it. The omelettes were tasty, the portions were really big and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is good , service is great and place is cozy.

The Veggie Omelet was light yet incredibly satisfying, making it the perfect first brunch choice at Caffe Mona. It was packed with flavor without feeling heavy, and every bite was just delicious. My friends and I shared the Lotus Crepe, and it was hands down unforgettable. I’ve never experienced anything like it before—an absolute must-try!

Yelp
I love the patio and all the decor! So beautiful and artistic, umbrellas help the sun on the patio and just darling. We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was nearly empty, best service and my crepe was melt in your mouth delicious! Just the right amount of food to be satisfied and not too much, best service and easy street parking. No issues, generous sizes and reasonable prices.

Yelp
I love it here. This is my favorite breakfast spot in Pittsburgh. Finding parking can be tricky, but the food and patio are worth it. I love the vibes. The savory crepes here are so delish. I love them. The side salad is also great. There's also really cool artwork hung up for sale in the cafe. The people are nice and the food is great. Check out this place!!

Yelp
I can't believe I never checked this place out! The patio is so cute and the food is great! I really loved my avo toast and the egg was perfect. I liked my salad it came with too. There was a bit of a mixup with the coffee but I liked my decaf latte. The pancakes were dreamy. Their menu is pretty big! My party all really had a great brunch and they have things like Turkish coffee too. The staff was nice too! Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a brunch spot.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for breakfast on the strip, consider Caffé Mona! Our party of six didn't have to wait long for a table, and our drink orders were taken almost immediately after being seated. I opted for a Turkish coffee, and it was a great choice for a snowy day. It was strong while not being too bitter. We had a good bit of variety at the table. One person ordered the Brentwood bagel, another ordered the Biscoff French toast, another ordered eggs Benedict and I ordered a Chèvre omelette and a grilled cheese. It is worth noting that the member of our party who ordered eggs Benedict had to send them back initially because they were overcooked, but we all ended up liking our food in the end. The chèvre omelette was light and fluffy, with bold flavors from the goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. The home fries with which the omelette came were crispy, buttery, and full of savory goodness. The sourdough for the grilled cheese was fresh with perfectly crispy crusts, and the cheddar cheese was nice and gooey. The space is a bit on the small side and does fill up quickly, so be sure to plan accordingly!

Yelp
Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed in this spot - I love French-style bistros and this one looked cute, but the food was not up to par. For starters, the avocado in my omelette was rotten, making the whole omelette taste rancid. They also served my husband expired cream cheese for his bagel, and in general, the ingredients they used weren't very good quality. On the plus side, our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. I also enjoyed my Turkish coffee. It's a shame that the food isn't up to par though - a good bistro could do so well in The Strip!

Yelp
I visited Caffe Mona on a whim! My sister and I needed a place for lunch on a Monday, and this was open so we tried it. It was a later lunch, so the dining area was pretty empty and we were able to choose our own table. They had full lunch options and a la carte offerings, which was nice in case we wanted something small. The food was very good, and the ambiance was lovely. The room was decorated with wonderful decorations. Very homey feeling to the dining area. The service was fine. Our server was quiet, so we didn't interact with her much. The hard part is parking, so I'm sure it's easier if you live/work nearby to visit.

Simran S.

Yelp
The main guy who runs the place was very rude to our table. One of our friends ordered more than one item from the menu and was given an unkind response insinuating that she was a fatty for ordering what she wanted. And when she questioned if that was a problem? He rudely responded and said "I don't care, I make money anyway". It was rude and has happened to us another time at the same location 2 years ago. That is no way to talk to a customer nor a young group of women. The food was alright but our experience was unfortunately negative due to this.

Yelp
Ok so parking sucks but , this place sucks s still a must try. I went for savory crepe, The Goat. My dining mate had the sweet Berries Goat. Both delicious. Just had plain old black coffee that could have tasted less bitter. But my review is on the food. I say yes go to Caffe Mona. Maybe the staff would be a bit pleasant and not show their feelings so much. When asked to pick a table don't be upset that we picked the center of the 6 seats. Also we paid and were wrapping up don't come around gruff that we have not left let. There was a crowd waiting to come in. 90% of the seats were taken outside and 90% of the seats inside were open. Learn to lean people to sit inside.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber Eats and was a bit disappointed when I had began eating. It was a bit more expensive than other places, so I had expected a bigger portion, or even just better quality? Perhaps those don't always go bad in hand. Let me clarify, it wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed the omelet, I would've just liked to see more of the ingredients that get mixed into the omelet. I was very excited for the salad, but the balsamic vinaigrette was looking a bit suspect... It was very thick like a pudding, which I have never seen before and was a bit worried it might also contain dairy. I probably wouldn't order here again for personal preferences, but i'm sure they've got other things on the menu that might do you good!

Yelp
Came here for brunch with family. Ordered avocado toast and came with disappointment. It was not made with fresh avocado instead made with pre mixed avocado spread (like the one you bought from market for dipping). It was my first time ate avocado toast without real avocado. The side salad also awful, I can smell the salad had a strong refrigerated smell. The whole thing I only ate the fresh grape tomatoes and Sunnyside up egg. Thats it!! This place has a lot of flies around our table. It is not a good start for our first visit in Pitts.

Yelp
The ambiance seemed nice, so I went in. After waiting a while to be seated, even though one of the servers was sitting down and saw me, someone else finally came to assist me. It was hot, so they had two fans on the floor. One by a customer and one I sat next to, although it wasn't directly towards me. I got French toast, at first glance it was beautiful, but in fact it was disgusting. It tasted like it was dipped in dog water. Thankfully I had also got an omelette with salad. That was ok. Afterwards, I asked for the bill. A couple walked in, was seated immediately and they moved the fan away from me and towards them. Since the waiter was there, I asked for a more descriptive bill instead of the one they gave me because everything was written down and didn't explain why there was a difference in the amount, which was taxes. And the waiter started screaming at me! She was yelling that the difference was taxes, that in Pittsburgh you pay a percentage, that the percentage is multiplied by the final price. She could've said that instead of yelling, I had to tell her to lower her voice when speaking to me. Unacceptable and BAD customer service. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Always a treat to have breakfast at Caffe Mona. I'm a big crepe fan and they do them right. I typically gravitate towards the sweet crepes (The Elvis or Nutella), but you can't go wrong with a savory choice. The service is always great and the people friendly. A great way to start any day!

Yelp
Service 10/10: The staff was so nice and accommodating. Food 6/10: - Bacon, egg, cheese was good but they only give you one egg so it wasn't as filling as I hoped. - Elvis crepe was good but the inside was a solid banana not cut up which was hard to eat. The bacon and banana combo was surprisingly good though. - Coffee was average Ambiance 6/10: The tables are close together so we could hear others conversation next to us. Also it is cold from the door opening and closing. The breeze was harsh and chilling. I wouldn't sit next to the door if you are usually cold. The decor is cute though. The paintings on the wall are for sell.

Yelp
Great brunch! They have savory crepes and also omelette savory crepes if you want to add egg to make it even more filling. I got the farmer savory crepe which has the egg and also chicken, and it was very satisfying. It also comes with a side of salad and chips. Left very full and happy! The vibe inside is really funky and quirky. We were seated inside but they have a really cute back patio with the colorful umbrellas people always talk about. Lots of seating inside and we didn't have to wait too long to get seated which was nice. Would recommend if you're looking for a solid brunch spot in the area!

Yelp
Went here for a birthday breakfast on a Wednesday. Very quiet down in the Strip District. Walked in and greeted with a smile from Betsa. I had the South Omelette very good and full of filling. My daughter had the Caffe Crepe with a side of Fig jam. The jam cut the richness of the Brie perfectly. As it was a birthday got a little treat as well. Thanks Betsa!

Yelp
I've only heard about how good the food is at cafe Mona and finally went for the first time. I got the Nutella banana French toast and added strawberries. The French toast was fluffy and they did not skimp on the toppings, plus the portion was pretty darn big. Regardless to say, I think I made the right choice on food. I got a drip coffee which was like any diner coffee, which I love for breakfast. My friend got a cappuccino which was big and he said was really good. I love the vibe in that place. The whole decor and all of the art is beautiful. Enjoyable place to eat. Our server seemed very competent and made us feel like we were in a local spot because of how personable he was. It gives off a bit of a European vibe.

Yelp
This is a great brunch place if you want a small plate or crepes! The service was good and the ambiance is nice. Love the location also in the great strip district! I enjoyed the Nutella banana crepe - it's made differently from other crepes I've had before.

Yelp
When my parents were in town for Easter, but Cafe Raymond was unexpectedly closed for spring break, we ended up at Caffe Mona. The ambiance is a combination of hip (rainbow umbrellas on the ceiling and colorful pop-art portraits on the walls) and nostalgic (Sinstra playing loudly on the speaker). The menu is varied, and the coffee is good. The omelets are plenty of food, but the kitchen was slow for how few customers there were at open on Saturday morning, and when the food came out, it was barely warm. The berry/goat cheese crepe was not filling, so I ate the rest of the generous serving of (lukewarm) eggs that came with my husband's 3 half pieces of toast, We also spent $4 each for the coffee and tea(!), which is clearly a money maker for them.
google avatar

Yelp
VERY good service, and real welcoming vibes. The staff was more than kind when they corrected an under ripe banana and let us try a new dessert. Not entirely impressed with some of the ingredients like the croissant or the bacon, but the crepes are delicious

Yelp
Overall great for all ages! Who doesn't love crepes! Whole family was happy with their meals! Dog friendly! Decent seating inside and patio/deck outside! Didn't wait long for our food at all!

Yelp
My partner and I enjoyed breakfast here on Sunday. We were surprised to find no wait - and only one other family at a table when we arrived. It was cozy and quiet, which isn't always a given for a weekend brunch. The scrambled eggs were great, and I was served a huge portion. I would have appreciated more butter and a second packet of jelly, but I'm assuming they would have been happy to provide them if I had asked. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his savory Farmer crepe, which was huge and came with a side salad. We also liked that the coffee came with a wafer cookie.

Yelp
Had a weird service experience, waitress argued with me about the order that she misunderstood. I understand that miscommunications happen but just apologize and replace the order that I didn't even touch. Instead of replacing my order with the correct one, she proceeded to argue with me and tell me I ordered the wrong item. Imagine if this was to a customer with a serious dietary restriction or allergy, what would they even do about it? Also, you have no option of getting refillable cups of water like at most places. They charge 50 cents for water that won't be refilled (they're tiny plastic bottles, pretty wasteful). They do not announce this to you, you are just given these bottles of water and charged with them at the end. Again, plenty of nice places in the city that don't do this and just give free water refills like a normal restaurant is expected to. Service is terrible here for average food; they never come back to refill drinks, just bring out food and leave you there. They don't even take the checks; you pay up front and have to sort out the checks yourself if you're in a party. There are too many good places in Pittsburgh to hang out in a place with pretty terrible service. The second star for this place is because the spot is cute, but again, plenty of cute spots in Pittsburgh with much better service and food.

Yelp
Very unique ambiance and great menu! Highly recommend this restaurant. I loved the colorful way that my plate was arranged.

Yelp
Stopped here last weekend for a quick bite while shopping in the strip. Sat outside which was very nice on a nice sunny day. We got the bacon avocado bagel with fries and the banana Nutella crepe. Both were delicious! The fries were also nice and crispy. We will definitely be trying the cookie butter crepe next. Service was also good. We will be back!

Yelp
Come here only when the lines are too long at Pamela's and DeLuca's and you have to put something in your pie hole.

Yelp
This was somehow our first time at Caffe Mona. Small, brightly decorated spot with real, homemade food. Loved the side salads with the meals and seasoned chips. Friendly service; we will definitely return.

Yelp
Quirky, fun place we stopped by to grab some brunch on a weekday. The back patio is the place to be - colorful rainbow umbrellas shelter you from the sun and add to the fun of the place. I ordered one of the veggie omelettes, which came with a light salad of greens and some potato chips. Everything was very tasty and you got quite a bit of food for the price. The service was quick and our food came out in no time. They also have free Wi-Fi, according to Yelp. Would recommend!
google avatar

Zara T.

Yelp
Solid spot, I would say. We stopped in for Monday brunch and enjoyed some coffee and crepes. The food was good, and the caffe crepe was very filling. The patio is very cute! The umbrellas and murals were a nice touch, and I noticed a dog tucked away at a corner table. Most entrées come with salad, and there are few alternatives. The salad was your basic spring mix, though I had some pieces that were slimier than I'm comfortable eating (not holding it against them, it happens). Fruit, however, was a $3 up charge, which didn't feel worth it. Service - the waitress we had was polite but overall slow. Our food came out in a natural/reasonable amount of time, but getting coffee, refills, etc seemed to take an eternity. Additionally, the patio is cute, but we sat on folding chairs which were not particularly comfortable. The indoor area had quirky decor and more appealing looking seating. I'm from out of town, though would happily give the spot another try.

Yelp
This Illy Philly was hungry so I headed to a new place, Cafe Mona, to see what kind of delicousness was on the menu. I checked out their reviews and they mentioned vegan/vegetarian options so off I go. Welp, not true...smh... They do not have vegan options, so I didn't eat here, but I will add that I was greeted at the door by everyone, the servers were all extremely pleasant and the cafe was filled with people who looked really happy with their breakfast! I'm sure I'll come back, but if I don't I would definitely give them a try. Their food looked really good and their customer service was top notch!
google avatar

Juliana S.

Yelp
Super cute place for brunch! The menu is a little small, not too many options, so it's more of a catered taste. The service was nice and quick. Little on the pricey side, but nice ambiance. Tables are kind of tight!
google avatar

Katherine L.

Yelp
Came here with a friend and they originally told us it would be a 5-10 minute wait even though there were so many empty tables, but then they grabbed us and said our table was ready immediately. The menu says they charge 50 cents for water. Not sure if they charged us or not but they immediately brought us small half-pint water bottles which is pretty of wasteful and unnecessary. Not sure why they don't just give you tap water. Food was not great. Ordered "The Goat" crepe and am iced chai latte. The spinach was not good quality. There was a subtle metallic taste I noticed. The crepe itself was slightly sweet. My friend ordered a bagel sandwich, which she said wasn't very good. My chai latte never came, but it was on the slip, so they tried to charge me for it at the end. When I told them that it never came, they gave me a chai latte for free. The chai latte had too much milk and not enough chai, but the free chai latte boosted their rating a bit. The ambiance is nice enough, but nothing special... this place is overall not terrible but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Yelp
Surprised to find another caffe Mona at the Strip! I'd say it's a great addition. Love the decos and art pieces available for sale. Food and service are always good. Servers were so friendly and nice.

Yelp
Food and service was exceptional!! Such nice people and the experience was something i will definitely return for :)

Yelp
Detailed Review: Berry French Toast: 5/5 Very good. No complaints for this one. Chipotle Chicken Sandwich: 1/5 I normally like chipotle flavored things but I really didn't enjoy this. The bread was too hard, the chicken was dry, and the flavor was bad. Also not a fan of the salad dressing. Oat Milk Cappuccino: 1/5 Not sure if they actually use espresso but there was almost no coffee flavor. It looked cute and it came with a wafer. (I could have done without it) Overall, the place is eclectic and I can see why people recommend it but it just wasn't for me. I recommend the French Toast but I'd go elsewhere for coffee first.

Yelp
The food was great and I stayed in the airbnb upstairs and it was great to eat in the morning. Would definitely recommend it!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Thursday morning and were able to be seated right away. The service was super quick and very friendly. I love the decor of the restaurant! I ordered the Nutella Love crepes and they were outstanding. My fiancé ordered plain French toast and said it was the best he's ever had. I can't believe it's taken me so long to get to Caffe Mona! Can't wait to return. It's also BYOB so looking forward to enjoying that!

Yelp
This place is very cute inside and outside, with the decor and the umbrellas are very picture worthy! We went on a nice sunny day so the patio outside was perfect with the umbrellas that gave us the perfect amount of shade. The meal that i got was the french toast w/berries and eggs w/ cheddar cheese and my momma got the veggie omelette w/ salad & turkey bacon. The french toast came with this strawberry syrup type thing, powdered sugar, and chocolate mousse. The bread they use for the french toast was sooo fluffy & airy that soaked up the strawberry syrup so well that it was all you really need and i like my things sweet but with this i didn't need any syrup at all. The bread was also not really cinnamony and i usually look for that cinnamon taste but i wasn't mad that it was missing because the bread just made it up for it(9.5/10). It was different and i liked it. The cheesy eggs were a lil greasy but wasn't too bad..really just tasted like how cheesy eggs taste(7.7/10) The turkey bacon wasn't as crispy as i would like but that's just a preference thing. It wasn't super floppy tho and had good flavor, i enjoyed it(8/10). My momma enjoyed her omelette and said it had good flavor and from the bite she gave me I would agree.

Delicious fresh breakfast, great service, and take out boxes needed! We had Mediterranean and vegetarian omelettes, avocado toast, fruit and coffee. Next time, we will split an order! Do yourself a favor and go ! Great atmosphere, too!

Yelp
Super cute little cafe with a European feel for sure! Inside decor as well as patio decor were so insta worthy and fun! The food is mediocre but honestly after being in Pittsburgh for a year, I really miss well put together, creative cuisine. Asheville spoiled us! I'll start by saying.. I ate every single bite so that does say something but Monte Christo French toast was blah. The jam seemed very much from a jar and just so gelatin like. The ham and cheese were basic, cheap cut out of a deli or package. French toast was soggy but still it was good enough to eat it all. Just nothing special. My girlfriend ordered the Chèvre omelet and it just seemed a little flat to me and the egg was bland. I'm a sucker for goat cheese so it was still good. Salad was crisp, fresh and dressing was good! I give a 4 star just because I was a little disappointed in the food but the service was great, it's a super cute place and I enjoyed my experience. Everyone wants to sit outside so be prepared to be practically be sitting on top of each other and hearing your neighbors every word. It was a bit invasive if you want to enjoy and feel settled but honestly still a sweet place to check out once or twice. Take a guest visiting.

Yelp
What a hidden gem on Penn Avenue! I have been meaning to come here for such a long time now and finally made it! They had such a cute seating area with hanging umbrellas that gave the cafe a unique atmosphere! We started off by ordering some coffees! The cappuccino made my jaw drop as I have never seen one like that before! It was absolutely huge with the milk froth towering over the cup! The iced coffee was okay, originally they hadn't put much Carmel flavoring into it, but the waitress quickly fixed it and it turned out delicious! The black coffee was also very nice, it was a darker roast and super fresh! I ordered the protein omelette that was served with a piece of toast and side salad. There wasn't anything too special about the omelette itself, but i had no complaints! The berries goat crepes were definitely the favorite amongst the table! The goat cheese paired nicely with the fresh fruit and I highly recommend trying it when you come! The Nutella love and Nutella banana crepes were also fantastic! There was just the right amount Nutella on them so it didn't overpower the flavor of the berries/banana or the crepe! My girlfriend ordered the caprese bagel which she said was phenomenal! It was gone before I even got to try it so it must've been amazing! Lastly, the fresh bowl of fruit was shared amongst the table!! It was delicious and had a great variety of different fruits that you don't usually see from restaurants! I highly recommend trying this place out as it is definitely one of the best breakfast locations in Pittsburgh!!

Yelp
Such good food and coffee drinks- A breakfast staple in Pittsburgh! The service is always friendly and fast and both locations showcase local artists' work and have a welcoming atmosphere. I've had a bit of everything on the menu and have never been disappointed.

Yelp
What a cute little spot with street side tables, a walk-up coffee window (like they have in many Latin and European countries), a cozy back patio or cafe-style inside tables as well. The servers here are great, and the owner (or manager...maybe he was both?) was extremely attentive in ensuring his customer's comfort and needs. Soooo many good things to try, so what to get? Problem solved! They have a "brunch special" which included a salad or fruit plate, choice of main entree and a dessert style crepe to finish...all with an unlimited cup of coffee! Score! So they bring out the fruit plate, and honestly it is an embarrassment of riches...piled high with grapes, oranges, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, apples, pears, nectarines. Just unbelievable! For my main, I harkened back to an old friend, the Monte Christo styled French toast. It had tow thick-cut portions of their toast topped with melted cheese, sliced ham topped with an apricot jelly and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It was so rich, I saved half for a trip home and my breakfast the next day (with some of that leftover fruit). The last dish was their sweet crepe drizzled with Nutella and topped with sliced bananas...a classic! The crepe was a bit on the dense, spongy side, but the flavors of the dish were spot on. So glad my wife drove home back to Cleveland after this meal, as I was in a total food coma for most of the ride. Thanks to the entire staff here, for such a wonderful meal experience!

Yelp
There was such a big build-up to brunch at Caffe Mona because of how I had been salivating over their menu the night before me and 3 friends came in. The menu has so many great options, like I really don't know how you can expect anything more when they've got pancakes, french toast, sandwiches, bagels, plus sweet AND savory crepes, all for pretty great prices. We were seated outdoors, and yes, the umbrellas are very nice, but they literally block zero sun and listen this is probably not their fault, like the sun was likely just being annoying and finding the cracks in the umbrellas to beat down on our table, but I am noting it down anyway! (They are very pretty) I got the berry french toast and the caprese bagel. Both were extremely mediocre, which I was very sad by. The french toast was dry and didn't have too much flavor on its own. The bagel was very oily which made picking it up a big hassle (I could see a lot of oil on the bottom of my bagel). The main reason why this place got 3 stars (2.5 rounded up) is because we had a bee problem at our initial table-- the bees kept circling my food, landing on it, munching on it (probably, I don't know). And at one point the waiter came over and blew directly on my food to get the bees away. I debated for awhile on whether or not I should get a replacement (they did not offer), and I did end up getting a replacement. The waitress seemed confused by my request and to this day I still do not know whether or not I actually got a new dish because they came out with a replacement mere minutes later. My friends got some crepes that looked really good, though! So I might come back to try one of those.

Yelp
Would be 4+ stars if they weren't using tiny plastic water bottles that they charge you for. Horrible for the environment. Not enough water for a breakfast meal. The only other option was "sink water." The food was pretty good but the water bottle practice will keep me from coming back.

Yelp
The service was very slow, but it was also Sunday brunch so it was pretty busy. The food was phenomenal though.

Yelp
Great service, food, and atmosphere! It was chilly so we sat inside, but the patio area is adorable - Next time!
